i am THINKING about this so very hard. perhaps a special event that brings people back to monstadt (like the one we're getting very soon), to wine and dine and drink and make merry . . . and reader is just so sweet, so eager to please, wants to help diluc so much - and it's not like he's going to be at home much, is it? so it's agreed upon that they can take some shifts at angel's share, when diluc is there to keep an eye on them - and what do you know! they're very good at it! in fact, if diluc didn't know better, he'd think several of the patrons purposely hang back to be served by reader instead of coming to diluc himself.

and reader's in a cute little approximation of a waitress outfit; maybe it's a bit too small, again, because he can't help himself, but it's festive! still. only diluc should get to ogle at the soft push of reader's chest in a low-cut little white blouse (i'm imagining, seeing as monstadt is so heavily german-inspired, something akin to a dirndl?) and bodice that just emphasises how lovely and round and nice to touch they'd be. so he's glaring daggers from behind the bar, and oh no, that's not helping people want to be served by maid reader either!

i do think this is especially funny with venti. diluc knows that's barbatos; knows that it's monstadt's archon . . . but all maid reader knows is it's the funny, charming bard that people love to hear play at angel's share, so they should probably be nice to him! and diluc can only bring himself to be so curt with venti, knowing everything he knows . . . and venti takes full advantage of that. accidentally falls into reader's generous decolletege. flirts and winks and sings particularly bawdy songs whilst making direct eye contact. you cannot tell me that venti wouldn't fall head over heels for a chubby reader. come on.

mmm. he can't start an out and out diplomatic war, either - so outright telling ayato to back off is a bad idea, especially as inazuma has only recently re-opened to the outside world and ayato has so much sway over arts and culture. and i always like to imagine he knew thoma as a child and remembers him; so when ayato and thoma are flirting, all he can do is grit his teeth.

zhongli also puts him a little on edge. even though he knows nothing about zhongli's true identity, the man exudes power; and you seem so interested in him! diluc's well aware that, despite being a gentleman, he can be a little . . . awkward. zhongli talks like a gentleman and smiles at you kindly and diluc knows by now that you're weak for authority figures! but the fact that venti seems to know zhongli so well also doesn't bode well . . .

if anything, it's childe and/or pantalone (though i think it's far more likely to be childe) that sets him off. makes him bring an end to the night early and send everyone off to the cat's tail because he shattered a glass whilst cleaning it by losing control of his vision - a fatui harbinger? having the absolute nerve to make a move on his beloved little maid? that's just too much. he's got to fuck you over every table in his tavern and make you scream out his name and tell him that you love him in between jealous, angry, mind-shattering orgasms. it's literally a life or death situation. if he doesn't do it, he'll simply die.

Here’s a possible loophole. Since we have the uncanny ability to bring people back on the right path if they’ve been “corrupted” we should look and treat any acts of deception, theft, cheating, or harm as something to be avoided UNLESS…

We can prove and make a case (for what’s happening in the moment) that it’s not truly one of the above.

What I’m getting at is IF we can justify it to others, we may be able to walk the grey area a bit (though not often).

My least favourite colour must be orange. I'm talking this orange orange type of shade, pastels or more peachy ones are cute 💗

My favourite colours are pastels with pink and powder/baby pink shades as the ones I can wear all the time. Burgundy colours or magenta (darker pinks or purples) are also a big yes. People tend to compliment me a lot when I wear baby blue as well.

I don't dislike any patterns. I like lace, some sparkly glitter/sequins. In general I tend to gravitate towards clothes that have some cute pattern on it like cartooney characters or tiny hearts, stars, animals or some cute little buttons, ribbons, tassels, see-through fabric, frills, etc. All my outfits must have some "cute accent" otherwise I feel unhappy.

I like different aesthetic and tend to experiment a lot but like in general you could say my wardrobe consists of cute/adorable, a bit more elegant but still with some cute accents to make it look less boring, or sporty/casual. I work out a lot and I have some pretty sport bras, shorts/leggings I often wear out in summer paired with regular clothes.

I always wear platform shoes. Even my trainers have 10 cm platforms xD

I like some fancy accessories like a belt with a heart buckle or small heart earrings, scrunchie on my wrist that matches the colour palette I'm wearing.

My favourite outfit now? I bought myself a dress that looks like a night gown with white ribbons and it is all black and there is also white lace. I styled it with some plain top underneath and my platform shoes. Unfortunately it is kind of too sexy to wear it to work so I haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet 😭💗 plus it is so cold now in Poland.

For everyday thing I like some baggy oversized jeans that are low on my hips and some tank top, crop top. Again, not for work xD

As for my requests I'd definitely ask for platform shoes! The rest doesn't matter I'd gladly wear different things. I keep buying different stuff as a new outfit always makes me feel more confident.

Albedo and reader have been teaching Rubedo how certain things worked, like something as simple as currency, utensils, chores, and proper interactions with others before descending Dragonspine to be introduced. It was finally time, the three of them descended the mountain, Rubedo's hair had been cut short to distinguish them. Whispers were made by the townsfolk as they walked to the plaza, curious as to who exactly was the man accompanying Albedo and reader, despite it glaringly obvious that he was related to the chief Alchemist. As they walked, reader saw Klee at the Plaza's higher ground, she called the little spark knight who looked delighted at reader's return, it had been quite some time since they last came down from Dragonspine. Klee came rushing down the stairs and wrapping her arms around reader who returned the action eagerly, however, she noticed the third person in reader's party, Rubedo. Klee gasped and hid behind reader, uncharacteristically shy for some reason. "reader! there's two big brothers! " she whisper yells at reader, oblivious to the fact that said men had heard her. Bedo let out a rare chuckle, "Klee, this is my twin brother Rubedo, he has been travelling around for a long while but finally decided on settling down here with us." he explains. "so Klee has another big brother? Yay!" Klee cheers, coming out from behind reader to properly stand in front of Rubedo. "ah, I almost forgot! I'm Klee!" Rubedo hesitantly replies, "I... then he looks at you with a stare that sent shivers of fear down your spine and for a spilt second, his face was one belonging to a monster, not the gentle soul that governed his people with a soft while.

it reminded you of a face you saw in the darkeness of the woods many eons ago under the fire that devoured your village and the light of the thunderstorm raging in the sky. the face of the dragon that haunted both your nightmares and your grandmother's stories.

before you could stabilize your footing, he had launched himself onto you and you could barely kick him off before he could pin you against the ground.

this fight was more thrilling, more exciting and every almost move lit a fire in your gut. yours and his shared laughters and grunts and groans of pain and protest melded into the sound of the terrified people below and anyone who looked up would be met with the sight of a dangerous dance.

but at last, he had you pinned against the wall with his long fingers wrapped loosely around your neck, his face close to yours just barely enough to invade whatever sense of personal space you had, "checkmate, little bird,"

"now, now, don't look at me like that morax," you smirk, "i just might catch feelings for you,"
