Note : Hi everyone back from the writer's block!! Ignore any mistakes lol idk what this is I couldn't sleep so I wrote this for him <3!!

The dark night sky above displayed millions of stars, twinkling unusually under the absence of the moon. The most absurd hours were always the best times to find inner peace, especially on nights like these. When life seemed to be at its toughest, bringing with it countless restless nights, you had always found yourself under the open sky accompanied by a cup of tea and the silence the night brought.

Sitting in a chair on the balcony felt eerily peaceful, it seemed like today you were the closest you had ever been to the stars. It was always lonely, but you enjoyed getting to escape the stress in your life and get some time to yourself. However, tonight felt different. It felt more hollow, more empty, more lonely.

Trailing off in your thoughts with eyes glued to the sky, the click of the balcony door startles you a little. You whip your head around to check the source of the sound, only to be met with a worried silhouette.

“What are you doing up so late?” Wonbin asks quietly, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

You smile at your boyfriend's barely visible sleepy state as he makes his way towards you. Even though you did feel bad for being the cause of his disrupted sleep, secretly you wished he’d wake up to find you hiding in plain sight.

“Couldn’t sleep…” you reply with a shrug, looking back at your original view.

Taking a seat next to you on the ground, his gaze follows yours to the darkness overhead. Bringing his knees to his chest, he asks with a suppressed yawn,

“Is something on your mind?”

You don’t need to tell him how you feel, somehow every time it seems like Wonbin magically already knows when you aren’t feeling your best.  

“A lot, actually”

“You want to talk about it?”

“Not right now”

“I see…” His eyes make you their subject now, his arm propped up against his knee and his palm supporting his face.

You tilt your head slightly to look at him. Even in the dark of the night with no moonlight to provide a glow, he looks as ethereal as could ever look. You can barely make out his features, but his eyes are shining even through the tiredness they bore.

You don’t realise how long you’ve been staring at him until you hear a soft chuckle from him. Leaning forward to brush a few stray strands of hair away from your face, his slowly traces down your face eventually resting there.

The smile painted on his lips is one thickly laced with love and adoration for the person he cares about the most, you.

“You know, you can tell me when you aren’t feeling good.” He says in a quiet, yet concerned voice, “Even if I’m not much of a talker, I’ll always be here to listen.”

Your hand makes its way up to find his, gently placing itself on top to feel his warmth, his presence. You nuzzle your cheek into his touch, looking back at him with the same smile that never left your face.

“I know” you mumble softly, not wanting to disturb the peace the night bore, “For now, let’s just stay like this.”

Once again, he gently smiles at you, a nod tagging along as he obliges to your request. Pulling his hand away from your touch, he repositions himself next to you. Instead, his arm snakes around your waist, bringing you closer to his figure. In response, you lean into him, resting your head on his shoulder, the best spot to find comfort. He too, places his head on top of yours, closing his eyes to take in as much of the moment he could.

The night brought you comfort, but being in Wonbin’s embrace was your one and only safe space.

1. Were you named after anyone?

Nah, my English name is a weird, fairly original one that my parents came up with (so many people pronounce my English name even though it's literally phonic, but I love that it doesn't have a pre-set meaning) and Chinese naming is a whole different thing, where there's not really a concept of naming your kid after someone, and even then it's not like English where you take the same name.

But I will say my Chinese name means "such a beautiful jade", which I really like, and am really happy with, so thanks Mom for that!

2. When was the last time you cried?

When I went to my bi-monthly counselling/ therapy on Friday

3. Do you have kids?

No, I'm 19 lol but I do want some in the future

I have a group of kids, essentially my sister's friends and schoolmates to whom I act as a big sister/mentor figure, I call those kids my children/my ducklings (I say kids but they're 16)

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

I used to do ballet until I pulled my legs and couldn't go on pointe anymore, so I quit in 2020 after fourteen years. And if anyone says dancing isn't a sport I will fight you

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Not really, just occasionally with my sister when we're clearly joking with each other

6. What’s the first thing people notice about you?

Either my naturally wavy/frizzy hair, or me being trilingual (I have a draft ranting about being a polyglot lmao)

Dark, dark brown 🤎

Happy endings, definitely. I also absolutely cannot handle any scary movies 😩

Eh, I don't really view myself like that? But I'll put public speaking and making arts and crafts out here

Hong Kong! (nationality is a whole debate here and it's really complicated plus I'm technically an immigrant child even though it's still part of the country? But if someone asks me I always say I'm a Hong Konger)😁

Too many to count! Singing, dancing, writing, performing, drawing, scrapbooking, reading... and pretty common hobbies but I just, they give me so much peace and happiness

No but I have a little sister! (jkjk) I do want a cat though

163 cm, so that's 5'3?

now that i’ve watched stranger things which of your st writings would you recommend reading first? or recs from other writers?

okay, I know this one is old so maaaybe you’ve already read through my Eddie fics by now (I’m so sorry) but, from me, I’d definitely start with the Maneater and Head Over Heels trilogies since they’re equal parts fluffy and smutty (if that’s what you’re into). I am also so incredibly happy with how Glimpse of Us turned out but only read that one if you are prepared for post-volume 2 ANGST.

Hello!  My name is Navi, and I’m a fic writer. There’s nothing really interesting going on in my life, but I do go on ham whenever I do have something going on. 

Sometimes I write about characters I love, and it makes me happy to see others enjoy my stories. 

I’m on AO3! I’ve mostly written about Twisted Wonderland (I have my own personal project on there just to write about whenever I want; also, I love Azul and Idia and will always be on that agenda). but I’ll be writing about other fandoms. 5. who do you feel most you around?

i feel like i have different sides of my personality that come out around different people! but the ultimate answer for this would have to be with my best friend (let's call them A hehe) who lives in nyc. i probably only see them once a year rn (twice if we're lucky) but we have been friends since we were 12 and i think they probably know me better than any other human person on planet earth. there's nothing i don't share with them and frankly we've gone through most things in life together (seriously: we both write smutty fanfiction [they are in different non-bangtan fandoms tho lmao!], are in recovery from eating disorders, have Parent Trauma and adhd and almost assuredly are on the spectrum lmfao, are obsessed with literature and theater, and are extremely queer extremely non-binary kinky sex positive weirdos)

they are the most nonjudgmental wonderful little human, so caring, so encouraging, and i strive to be even 1% as amazing as they are. i could gush forever but i just.... EVERYONE DESERVES A FRIEND LIKE THIS (they're also a therapist so sometimes our conversations are quite literally free therapy sessions for me whieughergkhfg what a fucking angel)

11. what’s your ideal date?

i'm gonna be so honest here: i fucking hate dating 😅 especially the first date/getting to know you phase. i find it exhausting and as an antisocial introvert who is prone to sensory overwhelm many ~date ideas~ sound like actual hell on earth to me lmfaooooo

so if we're talking truly ideal: we've already been together for like 3-6 months, not long enough that they're getting on my nerves yet, but definitely enough time to be well past pretense and awkward vibes and bullshit "what's your favorite color"-ass questions. the formula is simple: sex, order in takeout, binge watch TV (with optional booze), maybe sex again later, but i don't sleep over bc i don't sleep well when i have to share a bed lmao. that's really it! (i do also like museums, movies, concerts, and trying new restaurants - i just am a homebody to my core so that will always be the preference hehe)

24. what’s something you do to de-stress?

besides the obvious 🤪 - i like long walks or hikes outside, reading (especially poetry or short fiction), and taking a nice hot bath with a fancy bath bomb. i also reserve this for special occasions (usually my birthday!) but i fucking LOVE a sensory deprivation tank. oh god it's so good, like put me back in the womb for a while you know?????

I was thinking lots about unhinged Jade and omg!!!!! Aside from making note of your cycle and emotions/period symptoms, he probably has an entire plan written out regarding pregnancy. When he thinks it'll be best to knock you up, what positions to assume when doing it, what to feed you before and after you're pregnant, where you'll do it and what form he'll take... He's so meticulous about every little thing.

Omg and if you ever, by some miracle, happened to get the key and unlock the drawer and read the diary... If you chose to destroy it out of anger or fear... Jade is enraged, but he still maintains that polite smile. Only it's tight and filled with a warning: you'd better find a way to make things right or else.

As for food, I could see Jade realizing he enjoys cooking for you when you actually compliment his meals and aren't pushing them away or knocking them off the table. That makes him really happy to hear, so he'll continue to find new recipes so that he can surprise you with a dish every day. If you're difficult and refuse to eat, he'd force it down your throat. Not right away, of course. But you can't starve yourself; he won't allow that and if force-feeding you is the only way to get you to eat, even if it's against your will, he has no choice.
