I mentioned before but I finished reading Thriller Bark!! And I LOVED It so much you have no clue. I already knew I was gonna love Brook, especially since I've seen a few movies taking place post Thriller-Bark with him in it! This arc (Saga? Is this it's own Saga?) was such a fun time and Brook absolutely SQUEEZED my heart/pos

He is an absolute delight and despite how rushed they make it seem, in canon anyway, I think he might be one of my favorite stories of someone joining the Strawhats. Like from the minute you meet him and despite being a comedic character you can tell how isolated and lonely Brook was and how relived he is/was to find people let alone people who immediately offered him a place on a crew again. And just... his whole introduction scene???? Cinema (Yes I have no watched this arc in the anime yet. No I do not care it is Cinema.)

Brook you are a comedic genius without even trying never change. Also I adore the use of Binks Sake here you should have SEEN my face light up the minute I realized what he was singing!! Binks Sake my everything <3

And some beautiful character moments at the end. Brook for once in his life, or afterlife yohoho--, feeling a connection and understanding with someone else and on top of that learning those people also met and helped the last of his crew left alive was so touching. Also it is here that I say that ever since I read this arc I think Bones In The Oceon by The Longest Johns is THE Brook song I take no criticism. ("So I swallow my grief and face life's final test To find promise of peace and the solace of rest As the songs of the dead fill the space of my ears Their laughter like children, their beckoning cheers My heart longs to join them, sing songs of the sea I remember the fallen, do they think of me? Shoutout to Sanji for being the goofiest mfr while in the same arc having implications that since he was little he wanted to be invisible. There's a piece of land that no one has claimed and it has everything; flowing water, minerals, and materials for crafting a settlement. Everything. I went there and claimed the land for myself and made some trading deals with smaller kingdoms nearby. (Looks at Ruggie) The Hyeans will have a better place to live... (Looks at Leona) And the Hyenas will have a king that cares for them.

Leon was in town for the day on official business. After a full day's work, the fatigue hit him like a ton of bricks. His cheeks hurt from smiling so much and his voice was a little hoarse from all the talking. Even his body was tense from holding a proper posture for so long.

At the end of the day, he blended in with the crowd just as Leon, not Prince Leon.

Before departing for the palace, Leon stopped to get flowers. After not seeing you for the whole day, he was getting a bit antsy. Surprising you with flowers sent butterflies into a frenzy in his stomach. He wanted nothing more than to see you blush and smile after a long day of work.

He walked off with a bouquet of your favorite flowers, humming a happy tune.

Meanwhile, you had been hard at working preparing a special meal for Leon. It was difficult to find time to spend together due to your busy schedules, so when the opportunity presents itself, there is no hesitation.

"Oh? I see you've been cooking up your own surprise," Leon chuckled. He handed you the bouquet of flowers to you and kissed you on the cheek.

"They're beautiful. I'll go put these in a vase."

Before you could walk away, he firmly pulls you into his embrace. "That can wait. Let's just stay like this for a while." You put the bouquet down and wrapped your arms around him.

Falling in love, deeper than you've ever felt it before, with him. Everything with Leon was so much more intense. It was the simple things that were made to feel intense too. When you hold hands, meeting each other's gaze, and even when he gets your flowers. The little things and simple gestures deepened your love.

"I've fallen in love with all my heart," he mumbled. "You'll take responsibility, right?"

"Of course. All that I want is to be yours."

Leon lifted his head and gazed directly into your eyes. "Good. Because when I look at you, all I see is a future with you."

Despite them being on my mind and a something I figured out for myself for a while now sooo I guess I can share it now klnsdglnk Here's the specifics/headcanons for Ray's sleeping arrangements on the Merry and the Sunny! Cause these things might end up coming up in other stuff to do with them and it could be fun to know!

The Going Merry - Ray slept in the girls room with Robin and Nami! Pretty simple! Though as you can assume it can be a bit cramped slfalksanlkn

The Thousand Sunny - Okay so in my canon Ray was built a special “cabins boy” quarters on the Sunny by Franky! This is a small room connected to the Kitchen, pantry, and infirmary. It’s not very big, since it’s only realistically supposed to house Ray, but it’s big enough for about three people to comfortably stand in. It’s got a bed, a side table, a bookshelf and some storage space. This is where Ray sleeps most of the time but their are some nights where they have trouble sleeping. When this happens they often wander to the girls quarters and sleep there as company makes it a bit easier and neither Robin or Nami mind the extra body. But once them and Sanji start dating some nights Sanji either comes and sleeps in their bed or they sleep in the mend quarters with him!

Since this won the poll, here are the promised kissing headcanons for Jing Yuan, Argenti, and Aventurine!

Disclaimer: I haven't finished the 2.1 main story, so my interpretation of Aventurine may be a bit off. I'm going off of my interpretation of him from 2.0, as well as a few screenshots I saw around the internet.

WARNING: Contains a spoiler for Aventurine's real name!

Jing Yuan:

🦁 Jing Yuan likes kisses a lot, but he’s careful to reserve them for when you’re in private. He doesn’t want anyone to intrude on your romantic time together and is aware that he must look professional while at the Seat of Divine Foresight. That is why the majority of affection he shows you is done at home.

🦁 Jing Yuan enjoys receiving good morning kisses when he wakes up beside you, as well as good luck and farewell kisses when he parts from you to go to the Seat of Divine Foresight. If you don’t give him at least one kiss before he leaves in the morning, he’ll pout and try to weasel one out of you. He won’t leave until he at the very least got to kiss your cheek.

🦁 When he doesn’t feel like doing his paperwork, Jing Yuan will come to see you instead. At your insistence that he should finish his stack of documents, he’ll demand you give him kisses to motivate him to work. As childish as his requests may seem, your kisses do seem to give him the energy he needs to finish his paperwork. Only after holding you captive in his arms and indulging in your lips for longer than he should, of course.

🦁 If you feel down and in need of comfort, the Luofu General wraps you up in a gentle hug and tenderly presses his lips to your forehead. His words may not be the most comforting, but with that kiss, he shows you that he cares about your well-being, and hopes to give you the comfort you crave.

🦁 Jing Yuan’s kisses are slow, yet firm. He likes to place a hand on the back of your head and pull your face closer, capturing your lips in a tender kiss.
