why does it matter to skystar that mapleshade tried killing reedshine? is it because she didn’t “wrong” her like the others?
Basically yeah. At that point it's just a pregnant woman she's trying to murder. That's not revenge that's just spite, in his eyes.
What he liked about the murders of Ravenwing and Frecklewish was that it was retribution. They wronged her, and she got back at them. He LOVES that kind of drama. He would be up in StarClan cheering her on until she got to Reedshine, and then he'd be frustrated.

may i ask why you hate mapleshade? like is it more of a fandom thing/author thing or do you just not like her character? sorry if thats a weird question lol
i think the idea behind her character is cool but the erins are the erins and they fucked it up imo. also the way the fandom treats any discussion about her and other characters in her book is so annoying i cannot stand going into the mapleshade tag on tumblr
which is a shame cause like i said, i really like the concept of her character and i feel like it had alot of potentional
not a weird question, i get it. i gotta start by saying i have no ill will against people who like mapleshade or even like the points i'm about to say. btw! sorry this is long i got really into it
starting chronologically (according to canon, not publication)(publication order is: all ivypool darkforest books (2011 and prev) crookeds promise (2011), great battle (last hope 2012, she permadies here) and maples vengeance (2015)
i actually really liked mapleshade's vengeance, all things considered. it comes last in the mapleshade storyline according to publication date, and up until then we really didn't know much about her, and i believe this is where she gets a personality other than "random DF lady" and "rude ghost villain". the erins are not good writers by any means, but i felt that mapleshade's internal monologue and the way she saw the world was genuinely pretty decent. they portrayed her as obsessive and manipulative and as an unreliable narrator. it was one of the first books i read upon returning to the fandom in 2018 and it was a thrill to read, because i hadn't been spoiled on it.
the erins have a habit of writing surprise/accidental pregnancies as plot points, which has the implication of like… flings/one night stands. it's best not to think about it. it's pretty obvious upfront that appledusk is not as in to her as she is in to him, but she doesn't see it. she talks about him in her narrations as a sweet and loving man and talks about their family and future together, but when we the readers finally see him, he's calloused and doesn't really care about her. i think she even sees him with reedshine at a gathering and gets mad before she thinks "oh he's just doing that so no one gets suspicious" (not quoting or anything, i havent read the novel since 2018) girl. their relationship was obviously just a fling to him, but to her they were in love. i liked the way this was written as opposed to all the other times in warriors weve seen a man have a hissy fit because a girl rejected him. (ashfur is the glaring example but also crowfeather, brambleclaw) her denial and refusal to accept what she was seeing (that she was the side piece) was the interesting part.
she has her children and then ravenwing spills the beans. why on earth would he do that? why would it benefit the clan or anyone? from a logistical standpoint, thunderclan lost 3 potential new warriors and mapleshade never implied she was going to riverclan. anyway, he didn't even have proof. he just assumed. i think he rightfully got what was coming for him, since if he would have kept his mouth shut, 7 cats including himself wouldn't have died. sorry mini rant i don't like him. anyway we know the rest of the story. kits die, maple kills ravenwing for telling her secret, she kills frecklewish for not helping (no, she couldn't have jumped in to save the kits without probably dying herself but she COULD have stood up for maple in thunderclan, and she was upstream so she could have yelled out and warned maple of the flood but im NOT getting into that and i dont care) and then she goes to kill reedshine but kills appledusk instead. did he deserve it? he was kinda a dick but mapleshade was like stalker-obsessed with him (i think she uses the phrase "my appledusk" in her narration but i might be wrong) after what was ostensibly a one night stand. perchpaw wounds mapleshade to the point where once she flees the scene, she dies of blood loss. cool
the story of a mothers love (and a mother's loss) is an age-old tale. in a franchise where all female characters are doomed to become boring cookie-cutter mothers, this loss and violent rage was awesome.
everyone told me to read crookedstar's promise, because it was the best super edition. i.. do not agree with that. tbh i thought it was long and boring and went nowhere. crookedstar suffered many tragedies in his life, and he lost everyone he loved, and then the book suddenly ends with him going "im ok (:" and dying. (i was reading a pdf and not a physical copy so it was VERY abrupt for me. i legit sat there like.. so that's it? i read 500+ pages for that?) i can't really blame mapleshade for this (since shes not real) but it does factor in. her idea of revenge against appledusk was to torture an injured baby? who then grew up and had no idea who the fuck appledusk was? why not raise him and give him the love he craved so that when the time came, he would be more likely to do her bidding?? her motives here make no sense. not super important. anyway.
and then she's seen occasionally in the dark forest and she tries to drown ivypaw for no reason once. idk she was obviously just a background character in these scenes (since they came first) but the fans saw a female in the dark forest and were like. thank god a woman. can you blame them. then the erins built her up from that.
anyway mapleshade has this generations long story of manipulating younger cats, and a POV book where she's obviously obsessive, controlling, stalkerish and chooses brutally uncommon violence as a way to get back at those who wrong her. (she unburies ravenwing's body so crows can eat it, and she uses adders to kill frecklewish, despite the fact the snakes could easily go for her.) she puts HERSELF in danger to do these things because she's impulsive, she justifies all her actions to herself by saying its revenge for her children and in the end, she pushes the last remnants of the kittens she thinks she's fighting for away. this is a cool story about a woman who's pushed to the edge and takes everyone down with her. for ONCE its not a man with deadwifepain.
and what does the fandom do
they girlbossify her. they fight over if she's in the wrong or not (she is. she killed people.) they take everything about her that made her compelling and turn her into "grr my husband cheated on me and me kids are dead. sad." she gets turned into the most basic, boring, cookie cutter "evil" lady. she kills people for fun and not because she had a reason to or a goal (in her mind). she suffers the most tragic kind of loss that there is and gets no time to grieve before she is run out of her home, and her reaction to this is pure RAGE, and the fandom turns her into this boring, slay QUEEN!!! (not the pregnant cat kind), always been evil, always been hardcore, ~So CrAzY~, "my eyeliner is sharp to stab men" girlboss. where's the nuance. where's the passion!!? she's a miserable, impulsive, manipulating failure. she blames others for her mistakes and bad judgment and punishes others for her shortfallings. she can't be vulnerable and broken, she can only cry because dead kids and then kill evil husband and evil husbands wife. she's even sometimes portrayed as like "boss" of the dark forest, wrangling all the men. barf.
so to answer your question, it's the general fandom* portrayal that i hate, but i honestly wouldn't trust the erins with her at this point. (the erins are influenced by their fans, for example (old person voice) back in my day, firestar and scourge being brothers was just a fan theory.) i'm glad they permakilled her in the great battle so they cant bring her back to ruin anything. actually thinking about her to write this out and reflect on why i don't like her made me sympathize for her. i like text mapleshade with a little bit of fanon sprinkled in for flavor.
and hey. usually when the fandom adopts a character, they're right. the fandom likes to get really in to random bg/side characters and give them lives they would never have in canon. but sadly (or not, depending on your opinion), when those get popular and breach containment, they spread everywhere and suddenly people think this IS canon. look at how many of us thought that brambleclaw killed hawkfrost directly after he killed hollyleaf, because that was the easy way to portray the great battle in MAPs, only to have someone point out, years after this has become the common sequence of events, that brambleclaw actually hunts him down, brings him back to camp, and then murders him POW style!!!
*btw. im in no way saying that all mapleshade-based projects or aus or whatever are bad, even if she is sexy girlboss in them. some of my favorite maps portray her like that.
anyway. TLDR:
Tumblr media
everyone say "i'm sorry mapleshade"

We need a BirdFlight Super Edition.
Ever since I read CloudStars Journey I have been obsessed with the idea with a BirdFlight super edition, for those who don’t know BirdFlight is CloudStars mate and she just so happened to be pregnant around the time that SkyClan was kicked out. I think the super edition would be a good concept for a few reasons:
- Queen POV, BirdFlight is moving into a new clan (That clan also being mostly responsible for her Ex-Clans exile) and has new born kits
- It could fill up the gap in between CloudStars Journey and MapleShades Vengeance
- The super edition could show a more antagonistic version of ThunderClan. The only cat who seemed friendly during the exile was KestrelWing, ThunderClans medicine cat. Also ThunderClan is always portrayed as the good guys and I think it would be a bit refreshing to show that ThunderClans history wasn’t always good, I’m surprised RedStar wasn’t punished for kicking out an entire clan.
- We could see characters from MapleShades vengeance, specifically characters like OakStar and DarkStar. It is very possible that a few cats from CloudStars Journey could’ve been alive to see cats like MapleShade and AppleDusk be born. Which leads into
- This ones just a personal headcannon, but I headcannon that SpottedPelt (BirdFlights daughter) is MapleShades mom. I also headcannon that RedStar had a rule that BirdFlight wasn’t allowed to bring up SkyClan to her kits as he feared they would become disloyal if they found out they weren’t ThunderClan cats. Anyways, the idea that BirdFlight at the end of her life telling a young MaplePaw stories about SkyClan and her grandpa CloudStar is actually kinda sweet to think about? A BirdFlights super edition could give us a view of MapleShades apprentice life which would be pretty cool.
- I think we need more Super Editions for obscure characters like BirdFlight. I often see people wish for super editions of characters we have already seen develop like BrightHeart or LongTail, but a super edition for a character like BirdFlight could be very interesting!
Overall I really think a super edition for her could work! I mean she was only a side character in CloudStars Journey but she has so much potential!
Unrelated, but if anyone’s curious I have a headcannon warrior cat family tree and in that family tree BirdFlight and CloudStar are MapleShades grandparents, making PetalKit, PatchKit and LarchKit the last remaining bits of SkyClans blood in the clans. (Yes I am ignoring how in FireStars Quest it is remarked how SpottedPelt and GorseClaw look like SpottedLeaf and TigerStar, I think it’s cooler if it’s MapleShade)

hey there! hope you're well.
I agree with you about the Leopardstar SE, but I think there's plenty room to have Onewhisker in his SE. There's little known about WindClan right before TPB, which would have been Onekit era, and some insight on Onewhisker in WC's exile and his relationship with the kittypets and Fireheart specifically would be cool, especially the moment he decided to do an 180 on Firestar.
Honestly i was just hoping for Onewhisker being overall a bit two-faced all along and shedding his "sweeter" side once he became leader but overall still putting on an act his whole life to hide the haunting shame of his past, a guy trying to convince himself every step of the way that this is for the best and firmly trying to ignore his prior life. Maybe even realizing that the only reason Tallstar picked him at all was because he was Fire's friend, and realizing how much he resented Fire all along because he was a heroic kittypet that proved him all wrong about Smoke and their son.
It might all be wishful thinking that it didn't all boil down to misogyny AGAIN for no reason.
Except the authors and editors decided not to show those portions of the story - what we got pre-tBP was important, sure; we needed to establish Onewhisker's relationship to the kittypets and Twolegplace - but the SE did this at the cost of skipping over the arguably just as important Clan/kittypet relationship of Onewhisker and Firestar, which might've done more to flesh out Onewhisker's worries about allowing kittypets into the Clans.
Instead we got like, three total paragraph's worth of content regarding him and Smoke, and Onewhisker and Whitetail stuff that was really unnerving.
It makes his 180 on Firestar come out of literal nowhere. You get one paragraph where Onewhisker admires Firestar, and then chapters later they're enemies. There's no context given through actual in-text events, just narration.
It's an interesting idea that Tallstar made Onewhisker leader because of his friendship with Firestar. It could've increased the bitterness - not being chosen for your own merits, but because you happen to be chummy with Tallstar's friend. If that was an angle they took, it'd be really cool.
Onestar, I think, has a really interesting personality. He's, dare I say, one of the most character characters in the series as a whole. That makes writing a book solely about him difficult, I think, because the Erins can't resist making the narrative bend over backwards to apologize for a character's actions when they're in the forefront for too long.
I said in my initial thoughts for the story that Onestar being a scumbag is fine, and a good thing; but giving him too much space in a book to do anything had the Erins making up excuses for him left and right and that's... not good! It makes him seem really inconsistent and mishandles what could've been a cautionary tale about how lying to everyone you know is really bad, actually.
For another example, if Mapleshade's Vengeance had been a full-length SE, I just don't think it would've hit as hard, because the events would've been stretched out too long and the Erins would've been tempted to excuse her actions. MV is a short, tragic story told by an unreliable narrator and it's great.
They could've cut out most of the rehashed content and ended up with a much tighter, more put-together story. Maybe not novella length, but certainly not a bloated SE. Anyone interested in Onestar's character would've gotten to that point by reading tPB > AVoS anyway.
Putting all that stuff in there took time away from the more important parts of the story, what was arguably the point of it to begin with. By the time you hit the AVoS portions you're bored and you kind of just want it to end, especially when they ruin the surprise of Onestar not knowing who Darktail was.
Not to mention the whole prophecy they had to stick in there for some reason. From the Tribe of all groups - not even StarClan. The Tribe. It's just padding.
I think this story was desperately in need of revision and refocusing, maybe even shelving until they could make something better, more worthy of the time an SE would take up. Or they could stuff it into a novella or comic and be done with it.
I think Darktail was a lot more deserving of the spotlight. We still could've seen Onewhisker being a scumbag, and through Darktail's perspective (if he was a character that didn't start out evil as a baseline) it could be very effective. Not only that, but a Darktail story would at least dare to give us some new information without retconning old stuff lmao, something these SEs just seem allergic to lately.
Onewhisker is a character that's worth exploring in more detail, but they fumbled the ball on LH and dropped it entirely here, which is a huge shame. They're going too far, and telling the same story over and over again, worse and worse each time.
As for the misogyny... it's baked in at this point. Whether the Erins and editors realize it or not, these books have foundational problems, and unless those problems are examined and dealt with properly, they'll keep cropping up.

(How I Think The Strelles Cast Would Meet Their Counterparts)
Spottedleaf: What visited him HOW many times? ...IN HIS DREAMS!?
Bluestar/dawn: Oh, its traumatized- wait, what did you say about Mossdapple?
Dustpelt: I know a Fernkit but not a Ferncloud. Oh you're mates that's nice... Wait, when did you meet her? YOU WERE HER BROTHER'S MENTOR? Please don't tell me you had feelings when- OH SOULS
Fireheart: Wow, leader, that's great! Hey, where's your collar? You know, the one our Kingdom gave us. What do you mean "what's a kingdom" aren't you a prince? No, not- wait, our- I mean, your sister is named Princess? Has she been betrothed. What do you mean she's with her- what's a twoleg? ...You must be lying because that sounds... Impossible
Graystripe: *sobbing* Oh Souls, my life is depressing!
Sandtail: Hey, you're cool and all, but... Where's the energy? You seem kinda... Tired? Eh, doesn't matter, wanna spar? Okay, with or without Sparks? Whaddya mean "what's a Spark?" ...Oh Souls, your Clans are defenseless
Yellowfang: Wait, I lived? Oh... Neat, I guess
Stormstar: What in the name of the Souls did ou- your mother name you? ...I'm so... so sorry
Magpiestar: Tallstar? That's a bizarre name. Well, anyway, who are our kits in your world? You know, Onyxwhisker and Rubyfoot, Okohi's kits? Who is- You know, young Fireheart's father? Jake? Our mate was named Jake? What do you mean you were just "Good Friends" what about our kits!? WE DON'T HAVE KITS!?
XD
Strelles!Spottedleaf encountering Canon!Spottedleaf would be funny. They would eventually come to the understanding they were both trying to help and protect him - albeit Strelles!Spottedleaf is a little weirded out that she has a crush on who is basically a brother to her.
Strelles!Bluestar is just... cradling her canon self. Just, absolutely fricking horrified. Her canon self doesn't even have Thrushpelt around by the time Firepaw shows up.
Strelles!Dustpelt is more or less disguisted with his canon counterpart, "Dude when you mentor an apprentice, they become your family. You became mates with your niece??"
Strelles!Fireheart and Canon!Fireheart are just Tired together. Resting exhaustedly XD Albeit, Strelles!Fireheart is desperately trying to convince Canon!Fireheart to embrace his kittypet heritage and not let the clans erase who he was.
Strelles!Graystripe holding Canon!Graystripe: ...I am so sorry-
Strelles!Sandtail is very concerned about her canon counterpart - she seems lowkey depressed all the time. Nice to hear that she and Fireheart became mates in that world too though.
Strelles!Yellowfang: Damn, I'm jealous. Wait your mother never forgave you for something that wasn't your fault? I take it back I'm fine being dead.
Strelles!Stormstar staring blankly at Crookedstar trying his damndest to calm down and what does he mean Mapleshade tried to ruin his life what-
Magpiestar is beside himself XD He's relieved that Tallstar at least had a good relationship with Firestar all the way to his death and even if they were "good friends" Tallstar still visits "Jake" in the housse-cat afterlife.

im not the same anon but i rlly think u shld step out of conversations involving the hallucinations mapleshade experienced bc its starting to feel like ur talking over us psychotic ppl /nm the way u responded to the og ask felt heavily aggressive and implied we don't know our own experiences. sorry if this comes off rude in any way i dont mean it to, we just constantly get talked over when we try to bring these things up and thats how it felt when u brought that anon's ask into a convo abt mental illness and misinfo
These were not my intentions with my post it was simply that I also see a lot of ableism in the community and often medical misinformation is used to fuel it.
But don't worry I understand how I could have come off as rude by doing so and I have no intentions of continuing discussion of it, I'm actually more or less on the fringes of the fandom anyways. I have very little plans on being active in the warrior cats fandom other than saying the books are really bad (because they are) and interacting with people I think are cool sometimes.
I'd also like to add that I myself am also mentally ill had have experienced hallucinations and delusions however mine where triggered by a medication I was taking. (just more context)
Also thank you for using tone indicators! If you ever plan on sending an ask again though It's easier for me to understand with the full words in parenthesis because I'm really bad with abbreviations! (positive, genuine)
For the most part I will be working on my personal art projects.

I don't understand any of that post but I saw the first two words and immediately thought
CIGARS ARE EVIL-
I mean technically yes, they are.
And I’m so sorry J but you’re havin the full explanation.
Okay so like in warriors there’s Starclan, which is sorta cat heaven but also like vaguely religious figure?? Normal and good cats go there and on occasion when a deputy becomes a leader they go to their Starclan place (Moonstone, Moonpool, where ever Starclan chooses ig), and sleep there to commune with the dead.
There nine cats, including the last leader if they’re in Starclan, and normally all of the clan you’re a leader of.
Tigerstar was an asshole that’s all you need to know.
Brokenstar was also an asshole who made kits into apprentices like as soon as they could be, so I think like two moons/months? Apprentices are normally at six moons for reference. He also got blinded and the poisoned to death by his mom (for good reason but also keeping him alive so long is why Tigerstar could become leader)
Badgerpaw died at four moons in battle, and is overall tragic and an example of Brokenstars tyranny. When he came to Starclan his mentor offered for him to choose a warrior name believing he deserved it, and in turn Badgerfang named himself after his mentor, Flintfang.
Cat hell is basically just the Dark forest or Place of No Stars. Awful place and we get to go in a little later on! Basically very dark, cats fight a lot, no prey/food, and if you’re a living cat that dies there your spirit is in limbo unless a Starclan warrior can secretly save you. This happens to Antpelt I think?
But anyway not a lot of dead cats in the DF? Like Thistleclaw, Brokenstar, Tigerstar, Mapleshade(you’d like her I think), and like… five others? They had to train living cats to add to their numbers and I wish we had more cool villains tbh

So way back in the day on the original Warriors website, there was an area where you could submit questions about the series that the Erin's would answer and then post the question and answers on a FAQ page. Someone asked about prefixes that the Clans don't use because they're considered sacred, and the answer had been iterations of Moon-, Star-, or the Clan names themselves, so Sky-, Shadow-, etc.
Obviously this isn't true for canon anymore, if it ever actually was (citing here: lack of continuity between the Erins) but I'm curious to know if your AU has any prefixes that the Clan's absolutely refuse to use for one reason or another? Whether they be sacred or maybe they're considered "cursed", like perhaps a particularly evil cat has tarnished the prefix forever. (Such as the lack of Maple- prefixes in canon books post-Mapleshade! Maybe not intentional, but a cool world-building detail nonetheless!)
Stemming from that, do you think any prefixes would/could be turned into insults/curses later on down the line? Basically, what's the culture like for names? My favorite part of Warriors has always been the names, and the Erin's had such a nice thing going until it was tossed out the window. The system you use with Clanmew and all is super neat and I'd love to know more about Clan naming traditions! Also how each leader names cats - idk if it was you or someone else that I follow, but I saw a post talking about how each leader has a distinct way to name their warriors.
(Also small fun fact while on the subject of names, a friend of mine submitted a question asking about who Bluestar's parents were, and the answer was Duskflower and Stormtail. This was a few years before Bluestar's Prophecy was published, so she was very upset over them changing "Duskflower" to "Moonflower" when it did finally come out!)
The Duskflower thing is actually a misconception: What happened was that in a field guide, the Erins wrote that the name was "Moonflower," and then felt that "moon" should be sacred. That's when they started using "Duskflower," until Bluestar's Prophecy came out and they agreed with the editors that the older information should take precedence
(Rare anti-retcon win)
But anyway I have no banned or sacred names! I don't like that concept! Possibly because I am from an old fandom era of 'traditional namers' that just used it as an excuse to bully people and have bad taste. Hawkfrost's name ROCKS MY SOCKS and they all died mad while I'm still here.
My rules with namings is that EVERYTHING must make sense in-universe. So I don't like lyrical naming very much... names like "Friendlyface" or "Empyreanmist" are funny, but I don't see how a kitten would end up with those names unless every cat in their Clan stopped taking their lives seriously
(Or are in WarriorClan. BB!WarriorClan renamings are going to look WILD)
That also means ecologically invalid names get cut or end up being translation quirks. Names like Cypress, Olive, Myrtle, etc.
I don't ban "insult" names either, but I do rule that they are typically ShadowClan. They have a very dark sense of humor.
And yes I am the one with leader naming styles! So far these are the styles:
Bramblestar: terrible. Doesn't consider names beforehand, often comes up with titles that are awkward or unimpressive
Harestar: Reverant and thoughtful, tries to name based on friendships, interests, and quirks.
Mistystar: Names litters according to 'themes,' often sharing suffixes or picking similar ones.
Brokenstar: Only ever gives "cool" names with deadly and strong connotations.
Firestar: Names awkwardly, but genuinely. Surprises his Clan constantly with banger names (Lionblaze) or shockingly uncomfortable ones (Brambleclaw).
Onestar: Names practically, trying to limit suffix repeats and tonguetwisters.
So on.

Mapleshade Drowns But Her Kits Live AU
Tumblr media
firstly, thank you for the kind words <3
I'm far from the best out there but I like sharing ideas and hearing things from other people around me as well
It's one of the big reasons why this fandom has kept me for so long. There's never a dull moment and there's always creative ideas - whether good or bad is [mostly] subjective.
edit; this post was mostly done and was supposed earlier but then the other posts became more important and I implore you go to my blog and check out what's been going on
of course, we're here for the au and I'll gladly hand off my idea for this AU;
.
When Mapleshade and the kits go under, a yowl sounds and hits the ears of Appledusk and the nearby patrol.
Quickly, the patrol runs and sees three little heads bobbing above the river, all three struggling to stay alive.
Without a second thought, Appledusk leads the patrol into the river and they grab the kits.
As he's swimming, however, he feels one of his paws kick down on something and he feels whatever it was sink. It isn't until after they stumble back onto land that he realizes he felt fur under his paws.
The rest of the patrol had felt it, too
A couple warriors dive into the water, but return with nothing
Appledusk stares at the kits, wondering to himself if that was Mapleshade and, if so, what she was doing dragging their kits through stormy waters like that
Angry, he realizes she put the kits in danger and that they could've died - hell, they were still at risk of dying if they didn't get them somewhere safe and dry.
He orders the patrol to carry the kits to camp, as they can't wait out here and risk the kits getting sick
The rest of the patrol agrees and they take the kits to camp
Appledusk can only hope that Mapleshade had tried to save the kits after her reckless move and wasn't trying to take them down with her
It's a couple days later and Patchkit, Petalkit, and Larchkit are deemed healthy.
However, with no place to go, they end up adopted by Appledusk and his mate, Reedshine.
The three are unsure about this - though, Patch is the least bothered, as he remembered how Appledusk had saved him from drowning the first time when Mapleshade had taken them out to try swimming Plus, he's a little more happy to have a father around
He thinks highly of the RiverClan warrior and does his best to convince his siblings that it's cool, since he seemed to be friends with their mom anyway
Larchkit hesitates at that
He just wants their mom
Patch understands
Petal, meanwhile, is just upset they had to leave ThunderClan at all and she isn't pleased with anything or anyone, including her brothers
Despite Patch's best efforts, she just wants to be left alone
As they're being taken to the nursery where Reedshine is, Appledusk pauses, pretending to show them around camp for a bit before pulling them to the side
He asks if they knew why their mom was trying to get them to cross the river
Larch states, distressed, that they weren't allowed in ThunderClan anymore
Petalkit adds, coldly, that they didn't like them because Birchface isn't their father
Patch almost loudly states that Appledusk is their father, but is silenced quickly by the warrior
The older tom looks the three over and he mutters something to himself about how this is going to be complicated
Out loud, he tells the three that him being their father has to be a secret
The kits are confused why
He tells them, cautiously, that he has a mate in RiverClan - Reedshine - and that she's currently expecting his kits
They're confused
Petal, glaring, asks why he has more kits and if they weren't enough
Appledusk assures he loves them more than he's ever loved anything, that they are shining stars within RiverClan But he was never supposed to be with Mapleshade and how he had ended up falling in love with another when he and Mapleshade were apart
Petalkit accuses him of not loving Mapleshade and he shushes her and she almost raises her volume
He assures he did care for Mapleshade, but he knew their relationship wasn't meant to last and he hadn't expected to see it all fall apart so quickly
Patch wants to try to give this life a chance, but Larch and Petal are apprehensive Patch understands why He misses their mom, too And this is a lot for the three to try to take in in just a couple short days
He promises not to tell, even if Larch and Petal never make that promise
Appledusk is a little relieved and he gives Patch and small nuzzle on the forehead before bringing them all the way to the nursery finally
Reedshine greets Appledusk with affectionate licks and nuzzles before turning her attention to the three kits
She seems nervous at first, having not been expecting to need to take care of kits while expecting kits, but she still shows them warmth and kindness nonetheless
The kits aren't sure how to feel. They already had a mom, but Reedshine never pushes the kits if they're not comfortable with the attention and even gives them the option to have their own nest or to sleep in the larger nest with her
The first night they choose to have their own nest and she understands, though it's clear she's worried that she's not making a good first impression on these suddenly adopted kits
As expected, there is some struggle with adjusting
Though Patchkit takes to it well, Larchkit and Petalkit struggle and there comes a point that Patchkit becomes worried that his siblings would let the secret slip
A moon later and Reedshine's kits are born - Willowkit, Shykit, and Seedkit
This is when a change happens in Petalkit and she takes to being an older sister like a champion
She helps watches after the kits and she feels a spark of excitement as she tells Reedshine how she looks forward to teaching them how to swim and how, when she's an apprentice, she'll show them all the coolest battle moves
Larch, meanwhile, grows more distant
He watches as Appledusk dotes over these kits and he feels a bitter resentment towards his father, realizing how old he and his siblings are and how shortly after they came here that Reedshine had her own kits
He doesn't know much, but the dots don't line up in his head in a way he likes
Especially since Reedshine was already expecting these kits when they arrived
Though, they keep their secret and do their best
Patchkit even follows Reedshine and Appledusk around much like he had done with Mapleshade, which creates some tension with Larchkit and some mild annoyance with Petalkit Though Petal's reasoning is that he's too old to be following cats around like a lost kit
After becoming apprentices, becoming Patchpaw [Spiketail], Larchpaw[Darkstar], and Petalpaw [Milkfur], the three have a shared dream
In that dream they're approached by Mapleshade, who lovingly dotes on them
She apologizes for not being there
And when the kits understand that she drowns, she turns an accident into a horror story She lies, saying that Appledusk had intentionally drowned her and that he was trying to get her out of the way
There's some hesitation from these young cats as their mother asks them to spy on Appledusk and Reedshine, who had been nothing but kind to them
Waking up the next morning, they are greeted by Appledusk, who wanted to see them off on their first official day of training, he grooms each of them and even Reedshine stops by before they head out, nuzzling them each before returning to the younger kits
Seedkit even runs up to Petalpaw as she heads out to camp, having her swear on all the fish in the river that she'll learn some cool battle moves to teach them when she returns
Petalpaw promises
Patchpaw, with his mentor Spiketail, head out on a hunting patrol while Petalpaw and Larchpaw are sent on a border patrol
Spiketail teaches him the basics, but before they head out to practice, he admits that he was confused at first
He knows Mapleshade is Patchpaw's mother and he wasn't sure why Appledusk was willing to adopt with kits on the way
Patchpaw nervously wonders if Spiketail caught on, but the deputy goes on to admit that he assumes Appledusk felt responsible for the three, since he had rescued them twice He also mentions Mapleshade's death
Patchpaw asks about it
Spiketail hesitates, but Patchpaw insists, saying he's old enough and he knows Appledusk might not tell them
He informs Patchpaw that they hadn't seen Mapleshade in the water until they had felt fur brush against them after they had rescued the trio of kits
Spiketail personally blames himself for the queen drowning, saying he should've knowing something was up the moment he felt something heavy under the kits, but he had assumed it was a rock that was somehow holding them against the current
Patchpaw feels sympathy towards the tom
He doesn't think it's anyone's fault
Spiketail does add that, personally, he doesn't think she should've had the three near the river, but he wasn't going to speak ill of the dead
Patchpaw nervously thinks of how the dead is thinking poorly of the living
A couple more moons pass with the trio learning more and more about living and hunting in RiverClan Though they haven't been taken to a gathering yet, the three are made aware that ThunderClan knows they're with RiverClan and the cats are acting hostile about it without saying what the problems is
they know
RiverClan just doesn't
On top of that, Mapleshade has been coming by, asking for news Patchpaw and Petalpaw are becoming more and more uncomfortable as she comes up with ideas that she doesn't talk in detail about
She assures they'll know when the time is right
She also starts asking about news about Seedkit, Shykit, and Willowkit Every time she hears that they're healthy and well, she snorts at the thought
The most recent morning, Patchpaw is woken up from the dream early as he hears noises outside. He learns quickly that they're coming from right behind the apprentice's den, being nothing but hurried, worried whispers
It's Perchpaw - now Perchleap, as his ceremony had been the day before -, talking to Appledusk He listens in as Perchpaw frets that they can't keep the three away from ThunderClan forever
Appledusk asks why his apprentice is even worried
Perchleap knows
He can see it in the kits
Specifically Patchpaw, who looks more of a blend of Appledusk and Mapleshade
He knows ThunderClan knows, too He's heard hateful whispers about Appledusk being their father and he can't keep denying that he sees it, too
Appledusk hisses He doesn't care what ThunderClan has to say And he knows his kits belong here ThunderClan didn't want them, so they should at least stop whining as the three are where they belong
Perchleap mentions that ThunderClan wants Appledusk punished even more now and Appledusk is outraged Birchface's death had been an accident, as had Flowerpaw's
Perchleap knows, but they see Appledusk as complacent in the lies Mapleshade told
Appledusk is cautiously confused
Perchleap explains that ThunderClan believes Appledusk told Mapleshade to lie about Birchface being the father
Appledusk is outraged and has to force himself to stop from yowling, making his voice sound strained as he assures he had never heard of anything like that Nor would he have approved of such a lie if she had told him, as it would've ruined their lives even more
He mentions how their Clanmates are waking up now and it's not the time to keep talking
Patchpaw lays his head down and closes his eyes, pretending to sleep as the two return back inside of the camp, though he wasn't even in his nest anymore, having had to move closer to overhear everything
Once they're back, he quietly moves back to his nest and closes his eyes again, only to feel Petalpaw nudge him
She asks if he heard, too
He confirms, though she had already been closer to where the two warriors had been talking
Petalpaw feels shame that Mapleshade lied like that She worries that, if Mapleshade was bad, they'll be bad, too
Patchpaw promises they're not That they're good cause they'd never lie
Petalpaw mentions how she once lied to Willowkit by telling her that there was a badger just outside camp ready to gobble up sneaky kits to keep her from following outside of camp
Patchpaw laughs lightly and says that wasn't a bad lie That she was keeping her safe
Petalpaw frowns
She says there shouldn't be a thing as 'good lying'
Patchpaw's expression falls and he states that she's probably right, but her lie wasn't hurting Willowkit
Petalpaw halfheartedly agrees "I guess so.."
Patchpaw's mind is buzzing all day and eventually he drags Appledusk to the side, Petalpaw and Larchpaw with him, and asks for the truth
The whole truth about everything
Appledusk tells them everything he knows, unaware that two of the three of them had overheard him and Perchleap
His story lines up with what Petal and Patch had heard
Larchpaw doesn't react much to what he hears
That night, they wake in the dark forest and Larchpaw spills everything he heard
Patchpaw and Petalpaw are surprised and don't like that Mapleshade is pleased with him telling
She assures that Appledusk only tells the kits lies, but Patchpaw and Petalpaw don't believe he'd lie so easily to Perchleap
She decides that the time is coming soon
She needs the three to spill the secret
There's hestiation until Larchpaw agrees
The next night is a full moon and Larchpaw gets Darkstar to allow the apprentices to go
Gathering reveal similar to how Hollyleaf revealed her parents' secret
Shock ripples through RiverClan and Petalpaw and Patchpaw are upset they couldn't stop their brother in time, as they had been trying to
The gathering ends short and Darkstar brings her cats back to camp and the first thing she does is wake Appledusk up
She drags him into the middle of camp and many cats are confused on why she's calling a meeting so late
She lays down Appledusk's crimes and he's unable to counter them, especially since Oakstar confirmed most of them
He holds fast that he never told her to lie, however At least not lie about Birchface
Darkstar's still angry
Reedshine stands up for Appledusk and Darkstar is about to banish them both when Perchleap steps up to stand with Appledusk
And then Patchpaw, which angers Larchpaw
Petalpaw joins them soon after
Darkstar still has mixed feelings about the apprentices, but even their mentors stand up Though not for Appledusk Only for Patchpaw and Petalpaw
Larchpaw will remember all of this
Especially because his relationship with Darkstar is now damaged now that he knows she'd so readily kick him out
That night there are no dreams At least not for Petalpaw and Perchpaw
Larchpaw and Mapleshade however? They're making plans
One of them involved the fact that Larchpaw 'accidentally' lead Darkstar into danger and she ends up losing a life
Though upset about the situation, she doesn't suspect he's to blame
Moons of plotting and now Seedpaw, Willowpaw, and Shypaw are apprentices
Patchpaw notices that Larchpaw is leading the apprentices out of camp the night after their apprentice ceremony and he wakes Petalpaw up
They sneak after, where they find Larchpaw take them to the river
The young apprentices think he's going to show them a secret fishing technique
Then, in a flash, he throws himself against the three while they're standing together and send the younger cats into the river
Patchpaw and Petalpaw run to the river only for Larchpaw to stand in their way
He claims they need to die
That Mapleshade will be avenged
They try to reason with Larchpaw, but he doesn't listen
He won't let anyone save them
Petalpaw attacks and gives Patchpaw a chance to get to the river, where he dives in
Larchpaw is outraged, but Petalpaw is keeping him well distracted
Patchpaw begins helping them Pushing the three to shore while showing them how to swim Seedpaw is struggling however
He manages to grab Seedpaw and he almost has them to shore when he sees Larchpaw hurt Petalpaw badly and she falls to the ground
Larchpaw then sprints to the river and is going after Patchpaw, Seedpaw, Willowpaw, and Shypaw
Patchpaw hauls the three onto land before shoving himself between them and Larchpaw He tells them to run
A fight breaks out between the brothers as Patchpaw stops Larchpaw from chasing after the apprentices
Larchpaw calls Patchpaw a traitor
Patch insists he's not
Larch says he's betraying the memory of their mother
The ginger and white tom insists Mapleshade was lying
His brown tabby brother doesn't agree
He sees Appledusk as the liar and he's angry that Patch and Petal were so easily tricked
"I'm not the one being tricked, Larchpaw!"
It hurts Patch to admit it, as he had loved his mother, but Mapleshade was using them
She didn't care what happened
She just wanted them to hurt others
Larch doesn't want to hear it and the fight continues until Larchpaw is shoving Patchpaw's head underwater, trying to drown him
He almost blacks out until Petalpaw saves him, still hurting but able to stand
Larchpaw hisses and the fight gets shoved closer and closer into the water
They come near an area where the currents are rough, but no one notices until Larch and Patch are both swept into the waters
They manage to reach some stones, but they struggle to hold on while Petalpaw is trying to help them
Patch tries to reason with Larch, but his brother is certain of what he believes
As a RiverClan patrol arrives, Patchpaw begs for Larch to understand that Mapleshade was in the wrong
He doesn't want him to be punished
Larchpaw glares at Patchpaw
He states, frighteningly calmly, that he's sure of what he has to do And going back to RiverClan isn't one of them
With that, Larchpaw releases the stone and Patchpaw watches in horror as the water sweeps his brother away
Crying out, he tries to go after, but is grabbed up by Spiketail
The moment they're on land, Patchpaw races down the river, calling for Larchpaw
There's no answer
He's about to give up when he noticed a heartwrenching sight of Larchpaw's body, spine cracked from impacting with a snaggled stone that was sticking out of the water
From what the warriors can tell, his death was swift
This is no comfort
Larchpaw gets a burial, but the Clan knows what Larchpaw had tried to do to his younger half siblings and there's not much mourning outside of from Patchpaw
Not even Petalpaw, who needs to stay in the medicine cat den
After the burial, Reedshine approaches Patchpaw
She's so sorry this happened
He doesn't blame her
He just wishes things had been different
She does, too
That night Patchpaw and Petalpaw have a shared dream, seeing Larchpaw glaring at them from warping shadows before vanishing among the trees
notes;
not long after, Patchpaw and Petalpaw become Patchshine and Petalstorm for their brave deeds
Patchshine still has nightmares about that night and he keeps trying to think of ways he could've helped Larchpaw
Neither ever take a mate or have kits, though Petalstorm spends a lot of her time helping queens and is even there to be a wonderful aunt to Shellkit/paw/heart
Petalstorm ends up passing away from illness and Patchshine lives long enough to see the birth of Oakkit and Stormkit before being swept away in the storm they were born in
During his last moments, he swore he could feel Larchpaw's claws clinging to him, making sure he didn't make it to see another day

Who is your favoriate villain? I liked Darktail! His story and goal was entertaining and different from the other villains.
i would say sol, scourge, or mapleshade because they’re pretty interesting and cool. but i feel like in fanon they are well written and depicted in a more impressive way. it’s like the erins came up with an outline for these characters, and fans just molded and added on to them.
however, tigerstar is my favorite. maybe it’s the nostalgia surrounding his character, but i’ll always be more fond of him compared to the other antagonists.
i definitely believe he’s well written in warriors standards, however ngl he does decline as the series continues to take advantage of him. the erins don’t have the best writing skills basically, yet his character is written in such an enthralling way. for instance, he has a very plausible background, convincing behaviors, a unique goal and drive, and flaws that make him almost natural.
he’s literally just one of the most perfect and unique villains to come out of the series. despite not being the center of everything, he was inadvertently written in an interesting way and explored aptly. but when the erins took note of his popularity among readers, i feel that they exploited the integrity of his character in hopes that it would increase acclaim. but unfortunately, it just led to his downfall. you can even tell, as they have literally stated before that they had no intentions to make use of him and had scourge kill him to create new conflict for firestar near the end of tpb.
anyway, i definitely think his character diverges from other wc antagonists. i like how his background isn’t entirely tragic, but you still manage to feel some sort of sympathy for him and his situation. he wasn’t born evil, rather, sculpted into something cruel by those he idolized and trusted. beliefs and notions were embedded into his intellect, and he allowed these things to alter his conceptualization.
he’s basically a victim to the influence and pressurising the code and clan life heavily enforced onto kits growing up. it’s not entirely his fault that this behavior and way of thinking has warped his perception, rather the carelessness of the leaders and the way they effectuate these edicts.
i just love how delightfully evil tigerstar is. and i believe what truly makes him such a good villain his how he fails to acknowledge how evil he is, believing all of his actions should be excused on account that everything he does is by the will of starclan. he believes that the clans have lapsed into disorder and that he is the messiah, the one sole savior to deliver the four clans.
he genuinely believes he is purifying the clans and enforcing the intent of his ancestors. and he is willing to bend his own beliefs just to attain his goal, building the clans up into what he believes starclan desires, which i think makes him such a believable character. he will exploit circumstances in order to gain an advantage towards that goal.
i also do believe that he acknowledges many of his actions are undesirable. similar to brokenstar, it’s evident that he is aware that “killing is bad” and “lying is bad”. but he’s so willing to make it towards his goal and work himself to power, that he allows himself to disregard these when he needs to seek an opportunity.
and i definitely think this mindset and his desire to ‘help’ the clans in unpleasant ways formed his unhealthy behaviors. just the more he continued to do these sorts of things, the more he was unable to stop himself. basically this just became an terrible habit that developed into something he found pleasurable.
tigerstar is literally just an awful cat. and he’s just terrible in a delicious, enjoyable way. he has his flaws and isn’t evil just for the sake of being evil. rather, a being misguided by these beliefs fed to him. as much as i love characters like scourge and sol, they can’t top a character like tigerstar. and many of their evil qualities stem from his own, making them unoriginal in some way.
had he not been milked of all his brilliance, i think he would have came out the most interesting and well written villains.

I’ve decided to list some warrior cat characters I would sell my soul to punt like a goddamn football💕💖
Appledusk- This mf got off easy in my opinion. Like lay it on him Maple baby, he deserves it😩
Rainflower- This was one narcissistic bitch lemme tell you. Imagine disowning your son because he broke his jaw while YOU weren’t watching him and telling his brother multiple times that he was better than your disowned son right where said son could easily hear you. She asked her leader to rename her disowned child after his disability. She kicked him out of the nest and left him in the nursery alone. She got what was coming to her lmao. Shitty moms get vibe checked on rocks. ANYWAYS. Stan Echomist and Shellheart for ditching her ass🥰
Clear Sky- I’m to lazy to type out all the reasons I dislike him a lot so just read the dawn of the clans arc and you can pick up on it pretty quick.
Hawkfrost- Interesting character I’ll give him that. However, his conduct with Ivypool was not it. And he tried killing Firestar. I’m super gay for his sister though so he goes lower on this list.
Breezepelt- Listen y’all, I know my guy was going through it. I really do. But he assaulted a blind doctor and a pregnant woman. Along with other things.
Onestar- THIS IS SUCH A SHAME CAUSE BEFORE HE BECAME LEADER HE WAS SO SWEET BUT THEN HE GOT INFECTED WITH DUMB BITCH DISEASE SO NOW I HATE HIM. Like he was just a prick. He also caused the whole Darktail fiasco cause he couldn’t keep it in his pants lmao.
Thistleclaw- This mf was a shitty mate to Snowfur, was constantly blaming Bluestar, and somehow managed to groom the clan’s medicine cat when she was young😐he was a sucky dad too wtf and a murderer.
Oakstar- You exiled a mother and her three young kits because their father was the guy who knocked your son in the river. I get that. You could have exiled Mapleshade. That would have been understandable. But the kits? Now that was plain spiteful and you mad wrong for that. He also struck me as a pretentious ‘god-fearing’ kinda guy so either way he was a prick tbh.
ASHFUR- I hate him. Like attempted murder apparently was enough to get him into starclan and even though I haven’t read the new series, he apparently possesses Bramblestar? Yeah no. Although I may be a bit biased since Bramble has always been a fave of mine. You go Hollyleaf! Out here doin God’s work.
Brokenstar- I don’t have time to explain.
Tigerstar- Him neither.
Raggedstar- Nor him.
Foxheart- Her name is a goddamn cat curse. That should tell you enough about her personality. She was also such a fucking pick me like Christ on a stick get a personality.
Dawnpelt- She was the only kit of Tawnypelt’s that was irrelevant throughout the entire series and yet she was always the one with her mouth open. She accused a BLIND DOCTOR, of killing her brother. Like bestie he can’t even see him how is he gonna kill him? He was the only one to jump after him as well. Yeah sorry but if you’re brother is still more relevant to the plot in death than you ever were, I’d pack it up sis cause this ain’t gaining you any more book time.
Sandgorse- Just a genuinely bad dad.
Palebird- She suffered from postpartum depression and I felt so bad for her. However there was just some stuff said and done later in Tallstar’s revenge that really turned me off about her character.
Shrewclaw- This dude was a straight up BULLY. He told Tallstar to go die😐he also caused him to have a long-standing fear of the ground. He also blamed him for his mom’s death btw. I love his brother though so Barkface supremacy💞
Willowshine- I forgot what it was about her that ticked me off cause it’s been a while since I’ve read the books. All I remember is that she did something that made me upset so she’s on here.
MILLIE- After Briarlight’s incident she lowkey forgot she had other children and was constantly fighting Jayfeather over what she thought was best for her even though he’s the DOCTOR. She’s also the reason Blossomfall trained in the dark forest so yeah.
Redwillow- He was so insignificant I almost forgot his name. All I remember is him dying after trying to kill his sister I think? Idk he was fighting this she-cat named Snowbird and got bodied so I thought he deserved to be up here.
Windstar- Yeah I just thought she was rude lol.
Tom- He was a massive bitch to Bumble and Turtletail plus he was the reason Turtletail got hit by that car in the first place. Wasn’t he also abusive?
Needletail- I could never remember who’s side she was on. Like in one chapter she would be chilling with her man and Darktail and Sleekwhisker but then in the next chapter she was telling Violetshine how much she wanted to leave but was scared and how she hated them all and then I thought she was turning against the clans for good but then she died for them sooooo🧍‍♀️just major confusion. She was a really cool character though! I thought she was really interesting and one of the greatest multidimensional characters of the whole series. But was sometimes a jerk to Alderheart so points are docked from that.
Spiderleg- He was a shitty dad who didn’t even pay attention to his kits, and he was rude to Daisy which is unacceptable.
Frecklewish- Let a kit drown. Like an innocent kit.
Ravenwing- Also let a kit drown.
Graywing.- I’m not talking about the original Graywing, he’s baby and I love him. I’m talking about the riverclan medicine cat that let a litter of kits drown because they were windclan😐like they were CHILDREN. Y’all can SWIM. You are a doctor and letting innocent kids die? Not a girlboss moment babe.
Stormtail- Another bad dad and was going after Dappletail even though he already had a mate. Wasn’t Dappletail an apprentice when he was flirting with her as well?
Darktail- I’m super sorry your dad abandoned you before you were born but becoming a totalitarian mass murderer? Just.. no.
Hailstar- Rainflower just walked into his den and asked him to rename her son after his disability and he just.. did it. No questions asked. He renamed a traumatized child CROOKEDKIT because his jaw was broken😐that’s fucked up like cmon. Think of the child’s feelings.
Firestar- This mf had no personality other than ‘I’m gonna be friends with everyone and save the day cause I’m the main character!!’ Yeah. Bland af. He also did a lot of questionable things pertaining Bramblestar so check out my other post on that if you want.

If you want us to pay you give us your biggest wc hot take and then we'll decide
instead of one i'll give u several because i have thoughts and ik a lot of people have these takes anyways
- bramblestar sucks please kill him - jayfeather should have been a warrior and i think it’d be cool to explore lionblaze being a medicine cat instead, i just also think the idea of jayfeather training in the dark forest also would be cool to explore - why’d they make breezepelt good i thought it was fun when he was a little shit - bristlefrost’s chapters kinda remind me a bit of lionblaze’s chapters in the way that i do not care. her’s are a little better if only because of her interactions with the imposter - scourge is funny - please kill bramblestar - kill mistystar too she’s like the oldest cat in the clans right now - sol was right in the way that clan life is very flawed but went wrong when he decided they no longer needed to feed old people </3 - mapleshade is not that deep actually she just likes blaming her mistakes on other people and then hurting people (also her novella implied she was pushed to go on her murder spree because she kept hearing the voices of her dead kits and erm do i even have to explain why that’s ableist) - hollyleaf could have been rly cool if the writers knew what the hell to do with her - firestar, graystripe, sandstorm, and millie were all in a poly relationship and i think that’s so cool - kill brmamblesla-ssk;’’l;;,./,,

Fandom DrawingMashup #2
Another one of these. Like before I'm going to post the characters by number.
1. Tattletail
Who wouldn't see our favorite snitch? Baby Talking Tattletail is loud when I comes to mama popping out of nowhere, but I still love this fuzzy furry ... Tattletail thing :).
2. Yan-Chan
Ayano is a character I decided to draw because I was starting to become a fan of Yandere Simulator again. I stopped being interested in the Fandom 4 years ago. After we moved and all that, I finally got my dad to get the game. so seeing a whole bunch of newbies all at once when I started playing it for the first time surprised the heck out of me. That and all the new clubs, New methods to kill people, also rivals who I heard of a little bit, but not much. I missed A LOT of this fandom, because now I am hearing drama between the creator, YandereDev, and the fans. Apparently the game couldve been developing in two weeks, but it didn't, and he threatened to kill himself, which I don't believe he would do that. But it's stuff I don't really want to be involved with. But I do feel sorry for YanDev. Working endlessly for 6 years trying to satisfy the players and try to make a great experience for them in the game. So into the next character.
3. Applejack
AJ is also a character I wanted to draw because I hardly draw her, like at all. And I was lazy so I didn't want to draw her with her braids in her hair. (Or mane, whatever). So I wanted to draw her running with her hat flying of. (Totally not from Yandere Chan and her knife).
4. Timas
Tim was one of the 5 children you will have to encounter in a game called Wick. I just felt like drawing him again. Also I kinda want to beat the game, but I feel like I can't until my parents are in the mood to. After all, we started the game together, might as well end it together, too.
5. Reed
The Twelve fandom is way to underrated. It needs more love, and so does Reed. Reed is a sad, hopeless boi (kinda like Cypress :'D), and he has been abused by his dad, so he became abusive towards his ex, Ivy.
He needs love. Also this is him hunting or something.
6. Yellow Guy
Also known as Doi, or Manny to fans. But I prefer to call him Yellow Guy until his name is announced. But I get the fannon names. Also I draw him a lot for some reason. Doi is good boi. (I regret nothing)
7. Fone Bone
I'm pretty sure that the BONE fandom isn't a well known fandom (or if it is even a fandom) but I put Wick in here and nobody knows the fandom, either. (I'm not even sure if Wick is even a fandom, but I've seen fanart enough to think it is, so). I still like the book series even after my middle school years. So yah, great book series, hope people will read it. They don't have to anyways but I'll be glad.
8. Cub
Cub and Pop were really... Interesting characters in Happy Tree Friends. I remember this one episode where Cub was stuck in the garbage disposal because he was taking a bath and his father flick the wrong switch in the kitchen and instead of turning on the light, he shredded his baby's bottom half of his body. Death happens and such, maybe watch the episode just to see what happens. Now as I type about it, kinda reminds me of What Remains of Edith Finch when Kai leaves her baby in the tub just to answer the phone, which was ringing. And for some reason, the bath water started to run and fill up the tub with the baby in it still, and... Well.... You'll know what happens next. Anyways let's just continue.
9. Everyone's favorite sociopath who wants to blow up the school for love.
That's right, Yander- I mean... JD. Yeah, that's who I meant. Apparently he had a gun, because... oh that's right, he shot ran and Kurt for raping veronica. Man this musical is jacked up. But it's thrilling and I love the fandom. He is also my favorite. Not because I'm fallen for him or anything (like literally every girl or possibly guy who does). I'm not into fictional characters. I just feel sorry for him because of his past. And because he seems cool. (Shut up.)
10. Leafy!!
My all time favorite character from BFB. She is trying her best to be friendly and kind. She is having a hard time being wanted. So I feel bad for her. But that's not the reason why I like her! Before I posted this, I watched BFB 22 and I ABSOLUTELY loved it! Her and Firey FINALLY talked things out and I'm happy that they're proper friends again! So yah, I like her! It's because she had it ruff. Kinda like MapleShade from my last post. (Note: I drew her here before bfb 22 came out).
Hope you like this! (Sorry I posted later than expected) :3

i didnt do the thing where you copy everyones style, but tbh it kind of looks loosely inspired by each artist? who knows!
anyway the awesome designs belong to @maovu (better known as sagutoyas), @lynel (better known as ECLlPSE), FRAT-RAT on da, @corvidkatana, and @so-so-warrior-cats (also known as ghobsmacka)
