6.) do you own any TMNT merchandise?

a few things! most of them i've gotten as an adult, because i have adult money that sometimes doesn't have to go toward basic survival. uuh, i have a little 87s hotwheels battleshell i found in the grocery store, i got the '03 basic action figures for each of the boys, i have a city at war t-shirt from target that i think is IDW?, a 2003 20th anniversary print by @shellsweet which may not be 'official' but i'm counting it because i'm in love with it, those tiny funtastic books for each of the boys, and a couple dvds i've scavenged from my local movie trading company. --oh, also some '03 trashcan... storage thing i found on ebay. i keep it on my desk at work and store my pencils in it. i think it was originally meant to be a candy holder? who knows.

*vacant stare as i blue-screen through the villains* ... honestly? probably stockman. i love to hate the guy, but, at the same time, a small part of me feels really bad for him and is shaking his hand when he's like "why won't you let me die". like. i might not fully understand, but i know the feeling of being exhausted and wanting off the ride. i get it, buddy; immortality is a curse. i dunno; he may not be the most compelling or threatening, but i always enjoy when stockman's on screen. it's fun to watch his hubris get the better of him, it's fun to see him be willing to sass/disrespect someone with as much power and influence as ch'rell (even if it often comes with a price), and also he made a jurassic park movie reference once at dr. chaplin's expense and gets major points for that. 🎵☝ ah ah ah! you didn't say the magic word~. also-also, he made mousers. i fucking love mousers. they're just lil guys! with a bit of a teething problem! their tails wag!!! these dogs are sharp, but they're still good, bront!

28.) what is one thing you would like to see explored more in TMNT art/fics?

it's probably the horror/lovecraft fan in me, but i'd love to see folks explore the fact that the alien creature from the darkness within is still out there and influencing people. i am semi-regularly driven mad (lol) by the fact that the writers decided to expand on the underground city and its old inhabitants more in s4, rather than acknowledge that THING is still alive. especially given how much heavier s4 was and the things it set out to do and address. i feel like that was gift-wrapped for them?? i dunno. i'm in pain. but if the fandom doesn't do it, i certainly will. i have a bit of a crossover/au i've been slowly cooking up behind the scenes directly tied to this fucker still being alive and active in the city. just... i, as usual, have a lot of stuff i want to do, so who knows when i'll get around to it. BUT IT'S THERE. plotting, scheming. eating me alive from the inside, as lovecraftian horrors are want to do.

11. Are they into dirty talk?

Daffodil/Deacon: Unfortunately, yes! So much! To the dismay of anybody who happens to be in earshot.

Deacon has a hard time being sincere, so he gets more playful than serious in bed. Daffodil loves it - she’s glad he’s comfortable enough to still joke around even when he’s this vulnerable with her. Also she thinks he’s SO funny. Being theatrical as she is, she rolls with it and “yes, and--” 's him until they’ve full on veered into Porn Parody Dialogue territory.

Tuesday/Danse and Tuesday/Rhys response under the cut

Tuesday’s way into it. She’s raunchy as hell with it, too. No coyness or double-entendre here, just pure sleaze. And she doesn’t keep it exclusively in the bedroom - her idea of flirting with her partner is to nonchalantly whisper something x-rated in their ear and hope it gets them all hot and bothered. Sometimes her timing’s off, though, and they’re just like “Jesus, Tuesday, not now.” It’s a real kick to her ego.

Paladin Danse is. Well. About what you’d expect. He’s not much of a talker in bed, though when he is he’s direct with his wants and intentions. Tuesday likes encouraging him to talk nasty to her, and he’ll comply in the moment but feel embarrassed about it later on. He’s also not very good at it. Sometimes she’ll make him say what he wants to do to her, and he’ll come back with something like “I want to have intercourse with you.” He tries his best.

When Rhys was alive, he could match her energy. He matched it a little too well, even - she’d try to order him around, he’d try to assert dominance, half the time their dirty-talk just sounded like another one of their arguments. The other half of the time they really were just arguing in the middle of sex.

7. What is their favorite intimately non-sexual thing to do with their partner?

They like to bathe together. It’s rare that they have access to running water, so when they find a shower or tub they make the most of it. Daffodil’s a bubble bath with rose petals kinda gal (though usually the best she can find is some soap and dried hubflowers), she’ll make a whole spa day out of it when she’s able. And Deacon provides the snacks. He’s a bath-snacker. Which Daffodil was iffy on until she kicked back with a glass of wine and a fresh mutfruit, and now she’ll never go back.

But even on days when all they have is a bucket of water and a rag, they like to turn on the radio and scrub each others’ backs. Deacon has a hard time letting himself be taken care of, so he tells himself its an exercise in team-building so he won’t feel too guilty about it. Daffodil doesn’t really know how much it means to him, because to her it just feels natural - of course they deserve a relaxing soak after a long day of wasteland adventures! Everybody deserves to pamper themselves!

Had a really weird and vivid dream where there was a weird patch of land that had a like, massive pupa, the insects kind. And every few years entomologists would offer up new males of whatever species of bug it was for them to go inside and mate (which awake me knows is entirely not how insects work but asleep me apparently did not) and for some reason Tumblr fucking worshipped this process like a religious holiday??? Although actually on further reflection I too would worship a literal bug offering/sacrifice for the mystery pupa so sleep Tumblr was actually so right for that

And then it was discovered that the pupa was literally on top of an old covered up dump site and the entirety of tumblr became continual reposts of a satellite image of the house and land the pupa was on with a red circle over where the pupa now sits which had an x-ray of the ground showing rubbish. There was no fucking escape from this, literally every post ended with this weirdly high definition image of the house and the rubbish pile underground. It surpassed supernatural gif posting for inescapability and for being on literally every damn post. One post in your entire blogs existence? It had the pupa house reblogged under it. but it was just a fucking x-ray of the ground under a mystery pupa with rubbish under it and I'm so fucking baffled.

anyway he will wear this and tell people with a straight face that he's never spoken to a single jedi in his life. these people include risha and corso, who were in fact there the last time he talked to a jedi, and guss, who takes this as an insult and not nalyan being a fucking weirdo (because if anyone other than guss asks nalyan is the first to say he should totally count as a jedi. only if guss isn't there though). this man has Problems.
