EXO XIUMIN: A ride to sunset
Tumblr media
Characters: minseok x u & chanyeol/kai Genre: fluff, a lil jealous?, jeju retreat! Description: a sweet cycling date with xiumin! and... the boys? Word Count:1.8k A/N: Did you guys see his bubble message!! Here we go!>>>> ------
You didn't want to get up.
Rolling around the bed and making all sorts of whiny noises, you just wanted to stay tucked under the blanket. But minseok has ruthlessly pulled the hotel room curtains open after walking out of the shower.
'jagiya, get up and look at this view, it's so beautiful!no wonder people take retreats at jeju do' he looked out of the glass window and was smiling with childlike excitement
Groaning, you complained
'oppa... the drive was so long yesterday.. i wanna sleep in more, stop bothering me' you half opened your eyes, looking at him look back at you; with an expression that tells you you're about to be denied from your request.
'it's almost lunchtime y/n. too bad, you're getting up to eat with me because it's the only time we can have together today. you can sleep all you want later when i cycle with yeol and jongin.'
He let down the curtains again and stepped towards the bed. Gently he sat down beside you and gave a kiss to your forehead.
'Get up jagi'
Minseok pulled the blankets off you and tried pulling at your hands to get you up. But you acted like a deadweight, refusing to exert a single strength to wake up.
'ya, don't make me do it y/n, you will regret it' minseok warned
But before your barely conscious mind could even react to his words, his hands had already attacked your body with tickles. You laughed so hard and screamed in surrender, almost having tears in your eyes.
'ok!!oppa!!i'll...get...up!' in between breathy laughs you shouted
Sitting up, you leaned your head on his shoulder.
'a while more, just 1 min, ill get up, i promise'
Leaning onto your head too, minseok gladly relented.
------
Kimbap, omelette, tteokbokki, beef bone soup. You looked at your tray, thinking if there's anything else you should be getting from the buffet.
'Orange juice for you?' minseok asked as you guys passed by the beverage corner
Nodding , minseok filled a glass for you and got coffee for himself. Finding a table nearby the window, the both of you sat down and begun a feast by the view.
All was well until chanyeol's voice came from afar
'hyung, sorry to interrupt your lovey dovey time'
chanyeol said with a chuckle, and minseok quickly dropped his hands from your cheek
'wae!' feigning some annoyance in his voice, minseok looked at chanyeol and jongin who's now by your table, giving mocking suggestive looks to minseok
'about cycling later, chanyeol hyung and i decided we should start out an hour earlier. Since i'm not too seasoned at cycling with my old injuries and i doubt y/n is too, so we might take a little longer.' jongin explained
a little confused, you looked at minseok and sent him a telepathic message: since when am i cycling? thinking internally, ok technically this was a cycling trip for the 3 guys and minseok got you to join in last-minute because you were free this week. Probably that’s why they assumed you’re joining the cycle
seeming to catch on the expressions you're sending each other, chanyeol asked
'y/n you're not cycling with us? why not! i have an extra bike just for you!'
jongin chirped in 'come join us! it's not fun to be by yourself at jeju do, plus we are planning to see the sunset later. don't you want to see it with hyung?'
their enthusiasm got minseok to raise his brows at you expectantly. you received his telepathic message, urging you to join them.
oh well.
'ah.. i'm going to be really slow, if that's ok with you guys then.. sure!' you smiled brightly and reached for minseok's hand under the table.
——-
20minutes into the cycle and you already feel exhaustion kicking in. Chanyeol was very much ahead, while jongin was still within a reachable distance. In order to take care of you, minseok decided to ride in pace with you.
feeling bad that minseok probably can't enjoy his ride to the fullest because of your speed you prompted him to go ahead without you
'y/n ah don't worry, i am having a good time riding side by side with you and looking at the beautiful sceneries together. Plus i know there probably won't be another opportunity you might ride with me again.' minseok assured you, and you can tell he really means his words
minseok always knew what to say to make you feel better, always making sure you would never feel like you're his burden because he just felt so perfect to you. You smacked him an air kiss, appreciative of what he said.
but shortly after, chanyeol slowed his speed and shouted over
'minseok hyung, you got to lead from here on, you were the one that planned the route. i can't really understand the map from here'
'chanyeol ah, but y/n is...'
cutting him off, you assured him
'don't worry about me, i'll be fine, maybe just abit slow. i can just follow jongin
minseok deliberated silently, not too willing to let you cycle alone.
'hyung go ahead, im not that much faster than y/n anyway. i'll take care of her. if we get lost it's going to be troublesome, just take the lead before the sun sets'
ultimately, it wasnt really a choice up to him because there was still a destination to get to, so he could only leave you in jongin's hands.
'ya, you better make sure she's alright, otherwise you pay your own meal later.'
after the call was made, minseok speed ahead infront of chanyeol and looked back once more at you.
-----
thankfully it was jongin who rode beside you. jongin had a really strange sense of humour, like honestly who thinks annabelle is a cute doll and watches horror movies to sleep? but you were always amused by what amuses him. the ride was tiring, but jongin's exclamations at the things he saw every 10minutes was relatively good enough to get you through.
you reached the destination all smiles together with jongin. minseok and chanyeol had already arrived sometime before and were sitting by the bench waiting.
quickly getting up the moment you arrived, minseok came over to check on you, holding both your shoulders
'how was it? are you ok? are you having fun too?' he was such a worry wart sometimes, overly caring boyfriend, a little like a mum.
'yes oppa, just thirsty.' you touched his arm to reassure him
'y/n im going to the standee , want to come along?' jongin asked in the middle of your conversation with minseok
'of course! you owe me ice cream since you didn't get the riddle right!
oppa, i'm going with jongin!' you broke free from minseok's reach and skipped over to jongin, heading for the standee enthusiastically.
holding the irresistible samanco (fish-shaped ice cream) in your hands, you eagerly attempted to tear the wrapper open as you and jongin returned to the rest point.
'watch out!!'
You heard a voice and looked up only to see a teenage boy on a bike coming right at you, and he was well losing control
shocked out of your skin, you dropped your samanco and shut your eyes, till a strong arm pulled you aside.
you heard a crash, and you slowly opened your eyes and found yourself against someone's chest. you breathed heavily from shock. not able to move just yet.
'are you alright?' you heard jongin's voice in your ears
he attempted to put distance between the both of you, but your legs went weak and you almost fell to the ground. thankfully he caught you before you buckled.
'what's going on?' this time it was minseok asking. coming over, he quickly took you from jongin's arms and carried you over to the resting bench.
‘She almost got into an accident, anyway I think she’s just in shock. No injuries.’ Jongin quickly explained
Not wanting minseok to worry, you reassured him after calming down a little ‘oppa im fine. Really, I’m not injured’
Coming over from the side jongin held out your samanco to you , trying to loosen you up.
‘Y/N, samanco’s waiting~’ he said in a singsong voice which got you laughing weakly
You reached out your hand towards the samanco, but minseok was faster than you, hastily taking the ice cream from jongin with a little more force than necessary.
Out of the blue, minseok instructed for jongin and chanyeol to park the bikes first. But something was off with minseok, behind that instructional tone you could tell he was a little more serious than usual.
You tested waters and offered him a bite of your ice cream, and surely , something was up.
‘It’s okay y/n, you can have it’ he said it almost too cooly
‘Jagi, what’s uppp, you’re acting strangee’ you slide closer to him and nudged him playfully
‘Aniya, what you mean what’s up?’ He folded his arms and looked ahead at the skyline after giving you a short glance
‘Jagiya, stop lying. Only if you tell me will I know what you’re thinking. Say it say it’ you lean in close to his face , but minseok still didn’t want to look at you in the eye entirely
Only after a while did he tilt his head to look at you
‘I’m just not used to seeing you and jongin being so close. Plus I really wanted to spend time with you here, turns out you’re having more fun with him’
His words surprised you a little, but the moment he finished his sentence, his back to his normal self, monologing infront of you
‘Ok, but I know it’s nothing bad that you guys are close and I should totally not be feeling this way. So I’m having this internal struggle of slapping myself with another side being ...’ he rumbled a little and did not complete his sentence
Understanding what he was trying to get at, you finished you samanco and wrapped your arms around his waist.
Then violently shake him until he started laughing again. Going on your aegyo mode
‘Oppa, don’t feel bad about u know, feeling that tad bit of jealousy even if it’s over your members. It’s better than denying it and sweeping it under the carpet, who knows it might be a huge problem in the future?’
Looking ahead at the horizon, the sky was turning into shades of orange and pink.
‘Look jagi, the sky looks just like a piece of art.’ You pointed
‘I hear some say if you kiss under the sunset, your love will last forever. Though it’s not yet sunset, I’ll just give you a kiss first’ you declared
And you cheekily gave him a peck on his lips
Grinning from ear to ear now, minseok held you close
‘Ya, Saranghae y/n. let’s just kiss till the sun sets then’
And he pulled your head right in
————
First ever xiu scenario! Absolutely did not expect to be writing it this long. And as I said I’m not tooo great at writing for xiumin, but hope you like it! EXO’s comeback is just round the corner and I’m trying to write one for every member! But will see how it goes~

Sehun: Guardian (Part 10)

Characters: Sehun x female reader (featuring Exo)
Genre/warnings: gang au, twin au, angst, lil bit of fluff

»»————- ————-««
You didn’t know why Junmyeon specifically asked for everybody to meet up at the garage. You didn’t think Yixing would snitch on you since he decided to help, though, so you were pretty sure you were safe.
“Maybe he wants to clear things up with you and everyone else,” Sehun suggested as the two of you left the house.
After you had left Yixing’s house yesterday, the two of you did as much preparing as you could. You knew how he worked now, you knew his weaknesses, and you’d know exactly when to strike once you’d spoken to the rest of the group that wanted to help. You figured you could talk with them after this little meeting Junmyeon wanted to have.
You and Sehun were the last ones to arrive, the motor of his bike cutting off before you swung a leg off of the bike and took your helmet off. The two of you walked over to the garage entrance, noticing that things seemed...tense. Nobody was speaking, and Junnmyeon looked pissed.
When you got closer, his eyes immediately landed on you, sending you a glare.
All you could think was, ‘Oh no.’
“What are you doing?” he demanded. “You go behind my back and gather everyone together to go after Kris? After I specifically told you not to?”
“Suho--”
“I get you loved him, _____,” he continued, cutting off whatever rebuttal you had, “but he’s not worth getting yourself and the rest of us killed over. You’re going to start a war that won’t end well for anybody.”
“Not unless I end it before it starts,” you stated, crossing your arms over your chest.
“So you’re going to murder him?”
“He murdered Saehyuk!”
The whole time, everybody let the two of you go back and forth. None of them dared speak up, and none of them dared look directly at either of you -- except Sehun. But even Yixing averted his eyes as you and Junmyeon had your little yelling match.
“Well what if he does that to you?” Junmyeon asked.
You shrugged, “Who gives a shit?”
“Alright, then what about Sehun?” he asked again with an almost smug smirk, realizing he’d made his point when your face fell with realization. “What if Sehun didn’t come back alive this time, huh? Or Chanyeol? Or Kyungsoo? Or Jongdae -- who has a daughter to take care of, by the way. How would you explain to a little girl that--”
“Shut up!” you snapped. “I get the point, asshole!”
“_____, if you really go through with this, we can’t protect you anymore,” he told you, his voice dropping lower now. He was looking into your eyes solemnly, letting you know how serious he was about this.
You stared back at him for a moment, seeming like you were weighing your options. But in your mind, there really was only one option.
“I never needed protecting anyway,” you told him. “Yixing just kind of brought me into this. I never asked for your protection, you just gave it to me.”
Junmyeon nodded slowly, his eyes looking down at the floor before they looked back up to meet yours emotionlessly, “Then I guess I’ll see you around.”
You nodded once before you turned around and began walking away. When you saw Sehun start to turn, you put a hand on his shoulder and shook your head at him.
“Stay here,” you told him quietly. “He was right, I can’t let anything bad happen to you -- I couldn’t take it.”
Sehun stayed put as you kept walking, but you only got a few steps before you heard him say, “I’m going with her, hyung.”
You whipped around, ready to scold Sehun, but he silenced your words with his own statement.
“If something bad happens to _____, I don’t know what I’ll do. She’s the most important person to me. I need to look after her.”
“Then go,” Junmyeon’s jaw clenched, but he nodded for him to follow you. He looked around the garage. “Anybody else?”
Everybody stayed still, still not lifting their gazes. You didn’t expect anybody to follow you if they were given this ultimatum. Of course they’d choose their friends over you who was the newcomer of the group. You’d never been particularly close with anybody before this anyway. Sure, some of them were fonder of you than others but their bond with you was nothing compared to theirs’ with Junmyeon.
“C’mon,” Sehun’s voice was a whisper as he put a hand on your back and led you away from the garage for the last time.
Things stayed tense after you had left, nobody saying anything. But then Jongdae suddenly stood. He approached Junmyeon who looked at him with a hint of shock. Nobody expected Jongdae to be the first to go against Suho.
“I have to do this for Miju,” he stated, his voice soft. “I’m sorry.”
It was clear that Junmyeon didn’t want to kick Jongdae out, but he had to. So he nodded his head toward the exit, silently telling him to leave.
Next was Minseok who didn’t even know about any of this until today when Junmyeon interrogated them all about it before you showed up -- which was why everyone looked so on-edge. Like Jongdae, Minseok had kids -- a little older than Miju -- who he also looked after. But he knew where you were coming from since his wife was killed, too.
“I’d avenge her if I had the chance,” was all he said as he walked passed Junmyeon and followed after Jongdae.
Then Chanyeol and Baekhyun. Then Kyungsoo. And finally, Jongin got up at the last minute as the group began walking away, saying a quiet “sorry, hyung” and giving him an apologetic look as he jogged to catch up.
That left Yixing and Junmyeon alone in the garage, watching your retreating forms. Part of Junmyeon felt betrayed and angry, but another part of him wasn’t surprised at all.
“So,” Yixing began, walking over to stand beside Junmyeon, “what do you want to do now?”
-
It had been years since your parents kicked you out, and you were basically numb when it came to thinking about your family. You’d disassociate from all feeling and emotion when you thought of them, opting to just say ‘fuck ‘em’ instead of feeling sorry for yourself. You didn’t want to hurt over people who didn’t want you around. You didn’t want to feel anything toward them.
There were some times, though very rare, where you couldn’t help but get teary-eyed when you thought about them. You were alone. You had nobody. No family to lean on when you were hurt or lost. No father to tell you he’d always protect his little girl from anything bad. No mother to hug you and promise you never ending love. No siblings to fight for you when you couldn’t fight for yourself. It was sad, really -- and sometimes, that really sunk in to the point where you couldn’t help but cry about it.
That’s how Saehyuk found you. It was after you had fallen for him, but you were still afraid he would leave you. He was sleeping beside you when you’d restlessly gotten up in the middle of the night after a dream about your family, and you had wandered into the living room so you wouldn’t wake him You couldn’t help but let your eyes wander along the walls as you sat on the couch, looking at the few pictures the twins kept of their family before they left. They seemed to love the twins so much -- at least before they left. Why didn’t your family ever love you like that?
“_____...?” Saehyuk’s voice was groggy and raspy as he heard you soft sniffles when he went to go look for you after he’d woken up feeling the bed empty beside him. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s stupid,” you mumbled, quickly wiping the moisture from under your eyes and your cheeks.
“It’s not stupid, love,” he promised as he sat down beside you, putting one arm on the back of the couch behind you so you knew he was willing to physically comfort you, but he would keep his hands to himself for now because he wasn’t sure if that would help.”What’s got you so upset?”
You let out a loud sigh that almost passed as a groan as you flopped over sideways into your boyfriend’s chest. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around you and looking down at you, waiting for you to speak.
“I just wish my family cared about me, but they don’t and they haven’t for a long time so I don’t know why I’m so fucking sad about it,” you said, rushing the words out because you didn’t want to admit that you missed your family.
Saehyuk understood, though. He didn’t have his family, either. He decided to stick by Sehun, who his family disowned, so he was disowned by association. He wished his family would’ve stuck by Sehun and him, but they didn’t. It didn’t mean he couldn’t want what he wished he could have. He assumed that’s probably what you were actually upset about -- you didn’t have a family that cared.
“It’s okay to be upset about them even if they treated you poorly, baby,” he told you, one of his hands moving up and down your arm in a soothing manner. “You just want a family that would stick by you and care for you and love you. That’s normal.”
“I shouldn’t want it! I never needed that,” you huffed. You being vulnerable in front of somebody -- even if it was just Saehyuk -- was making you grumpy.
“Everybody needs that, no matter how tough they are -- and you’re probably the toughest person I know.”
You sat up to look back at him, “’Probably’?”
Saehyuk chuckled, gently guiding you to lay your head back on his chest again, “My point is, you have a family like that. They may not be the family you were born into, but they’re your real family.”
“Isn’t my family that raised me my real family?”
“No -- your real family loves you and cares about you no matter what. They look out for you, and they’ll never leave you,” Saehyuk explained. “And I know of plenty of people who are apart of your real family.”
“Really?”
“Of course. There’s Yixing, Junmyeon, Jongin, Chanyeol -- all the guys. And you’ll always have me and Sehun.”
You tilted your head back to look up at him, seeing that he was already looking fondly down at you. He leaned down, pressing a kiss to the center of your forehead.
“I love you, _____. I’ll always be by your side.”
“I love you, too.”
-
You didn’t care if Junmyeon kicked you out. You didn’t care if you wouldn’t have anybody’s help. You and Sehun would do this, and if you died trying, then at least you’d die together, right?
“Are you okay?” Sehun asked after you’d slammed the door closed and stalked into the living room.
“You should’ve stayed!” you whined, turning to face him. “You’d be safer with them -- you belong with them!”
“No, I belong wherever you are,” he stated, placing his hands on your shoulders and looking deeply into your eyes. “I’m not going to let you be alone, okay? So get over this so we can figure out what to do next. It’ll be harder figuring it out, so we need all the time we can--”
A loud bang on the door had Sehun stopping mid-sentence. He turned his head to look back toward the hallway, straightening up.
More banging.
“Yah, we know you’re in there!” Baekhyun’s loud voice called. “Open the door!”
You and Sehun exchanged confused glances before he walked back to the door with you trailing behind him. He opened the door, his eyebrows raising when he saw six men standing before him. Even your eyes went wide, your jaw dropping.
Had they all left for you -- no, for Saehyuk?
“So, what’s the plan?” Baekhyun asked casually as he pushed passed Sehun and into the house, the rest following after him.
“Wh-what...?” was all he asked.
“Your little plan to avenge Saehyukie,” Minseok clarified, looking at you with a warm smile. “What is it? We have to be prepared.”
You looked at the men that filed into the hallway, blinking as you tried to wrap your head around this, “You-- ...All of you left Junmyeon?”
They nodded.
“I felt bad leaving but Saehyuk meant a lot to all of us, too,” Jongin admitted.
“And we understand why you want to get back at Kris,” Minseok added.
“It’s unfair that Kris gets away with it without consequences,” Chanyeol continued, his lopsided grin still on his face even in this kind of situation, “so it’s only right that we do something about it.”
“So, where do we start?” Kyungsoo wondered, looking between you and Sehun.
Both you and Sehun were at a loss for words. You didn’t expect anybody to leave with you, let alone be so dead set on putting their lives in danger just because you and Sehun wanted to get justice for Saehyuk.
Instead of replying, Sehun bowed deeply to his friends, so you did the same.
“We can’t thank you enough for this,” Sehun said once he’d straightened up, looking each man in the eyes. “Seriously, this means a lot to both of us.”
You nodded in agreement, unsure of how to express your gratitude. Therefore, you’d let Sehun do it for you -- they understood how you were, anyway.
“Enough being sappy,” Baekhyun laughed. “Let’s get started.”

-Y/N's P.O.V; 4 Months Later-
I stayed low, creeping through the trees and kept my footsteps light as I tried going around the biters gathered on the road. They looked to be feeding, on what or who I couldn't tell and I didn't have the luxury of sticking around to find out. I had just gone through ten of them and taking on another half a dozen was beyond me. I had no energy left and with how sluggish I was from exhaustion they were going to be able to take me down in no time. I had no need to kill them as they didn’t pose a direct threat to me at the moment so I let them be. I looked out further into the woods, seeing two stragglers about a mile out. My choices were either to stay within the woods or take the road to try and find some type of shelter. I pulled out the map I had found in an abandoned duffel bag a few months ago, luckily for me I knew the area I was in when I found the map so I was able to follow it pretty easily. I looked down at the worn piece of paper and saw that there was a gas station about five miles from where I was. Five miles...I don’t know if I’ll even be able to make it but it was worth a shot. Taking a deep breath I broke through the treeline, getting onto the road and going towards the gas station that I hoped hadn’t been picked clean.
I was out of breath, my legs feeling like jelly, my feet screaming in protest with every step I took. My body felt like it was about to give out any second, it was begging me to give it some rest. I don’t even remember the last time I slept for a couple minutes at a time, always having to be on high alert now that it was just me. At the thought of what had happened I could feel my heart constricting in my chest, the tears coming to my eyes at the memory. I shook my head, ridding myself of such thoughts. I couldn’t breakdown, not now. Just as I felt like I was about to pass out I saw the gas station just down the road.
At the sight of it I let myself smile, my walk turning into a slow jog as I made my way over as quickly as I could. The windows and glass doors of the gas station were perfectly intact, making me think this place has yet to be touch. When everything hit the owners of this place must’ve not even bothered coming here. I made my way around the building, wanting to keep the glass intact as it to helped as a barrier against any biters that came across the place. I tried opening the door, hoping that it’d be unlocked and just my luck..it was. I slowly opened the door, keeping my shoulder against it I poked my head around the door. Everything seemed in order, nothing turned over or rummaged through. I held my breath and listened for any noise, entering the place when I heard nothing for several seconds. I closed the door behind me, locking it behind me and dragging a heavy wooden box in front of it. I walked through the isles just in case one had slipped around the gas station in silence but found nothing. I let out a sigh of relief, letting the hand I held my only hunting knife in hang at my side, grabbing a bottle of water from off the shelves. I downed it quickly, not having had any water since the day before yesterday. I quickly moved over to another, and then another. I had down four water bottle before feeling my thirst quenched. I looked around at the snacks lining the shelves but left them all there, thinking I could afford some sleep before digging into the food. I made my way over to the counter, wanting to stay hidden. As I sunk down to the floor I noticed something behind the counter that almost brought tears to my eyes. There sat a shotgun and handgun, untouched with extra ammo beside them. I grabbed them quickly, looking inside the shotgun to see it fully loaded with six shells and pulled out the magazine of the pistol, the magazine full. After all those months I was finally getting a brake, I didn’t have to fight off biters at such a close range anymore, I could keep my distance and it’d be less risky. With that thought in mind I set the guns back in their place, letting my exhaustion take over.
I was jolted awake at the sound of glass breaking, immediately crawling over to have my back against the counter. I held my breath as I listened to their footsteps, hearing the broken glass under their shoes. I heard whispers telling me that these were people not biters but all the same I kept hidden. I could hear one making their way over to where I was. I reached behind me, grabbing the pistol and switching off the safety. I waited for them to get closer, hearing them set something onto the counter as I assumed they leaned over it to see behind it. As they did so I sprung up, pointing my gun directly as his face. I could see his eyes widen at the sight of the barrel of a gun staring right back at him. He immediately put his hands up, the other three turning to the two of us, their weapons held out in front of them. I looked at each and every one of them, furrowing my brows together as I thought that there was something familiar about them.
“Hey...hey we-we don't want any trouble. Why don't we just put our weapons down, huh?” The one holding a knife said.
At the sound of his voice the hold I had on the pistol tightened. Now I knew why they looked familiar. These were the assholes that robbed us of everything we had and only left us with two knives. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have been caught in the horde of biters. I wouldn’t have lost him and he’d still be here with me. Setting my jaw I aimed my gun at the two with firearms of their own, letting off two shots, the bullets hitting their target. Before the one in front of me could react I grabbed the machete I now recognized as mine and swung it at him, decapitating him. I let the machete hang at my side, the blood on it dripping to the floor as I now pointed my gun at the man that had spoken before. I remembered him as being the man that had held a gun to my head and pinned me to the floor. He raised his hands up, his eyes darting to the two discarded guns on the floor. I shook my head at him, a sigh leaving my lips when he ran to grab them. Without a second thought I shot at his leg, watching him crumble to the floor.
“I’m guessing you don’t remember me.” I said, walking around the counter, keeping my gun pointed at his head.
He said nothing as he clutched his leg, trying to stop the bleeding. I stepped over the bodies of the dead men, hearing the moan of a couple biters outside. I paid them no mind as I crouched down in front of him, taking his knife.
“I’m sure you’ve stolen from others after you stole from us.”
“I should’ve killed you and your friend when I had the chance.” He spat out, gritting his teeth at the pain traveling up his leg.
I smirked at his words, “Oh so you do remember me. I lost him because of you and now you’re going to pay for it but I won’t kill you like I killed your friends...I’ll let the biters take care of you.”
With that I got up, picking up the guns the others had dropped, stripping the headless one of the backpack he had on him. I heard the biters come in, the glass breaking under their feet. I slashed at the one closest to me, the rotten blood splattering onto the floor. I stuffed the backpack with the extra ammo and guns, putting the pistol I just used in the waistband of my jeans, carrying the machete and shotgun in my one hand while I picked up my duffel bag with the other. I quickly shoved bottles of water into it and any food with in reach, slinging the bag over my shoulders as I ignored the screams of the man being eaten. I walked around him and the biters feeding off of him, the biters paying me no mind as they feasted.
I noticed a car and a motorcycle parked outside, the key in both of the ignitions. I debated over which one I should take, deciding on the bike quickly as a couple more biters were making their way over as they were drawn by the noise. The bike would help me navigate through hordes of biters better than a car would.

-Minseok’s P.O.V-
I pushed Dawon down by her head, forcing her to crouch down. I told them not to let her come, she was still a child, granted she’d argue with me every time I’d tell her...being the thirteen year old that she was she hated being referred to as a child. Our group had come across an abandoned building, it looked like it was a gas station but we couldn’t really tell since we were looking at it from behind and through the trees. I looked over my shoulder, signalling for Chanwoo to move forward, Dohyun following close behind him. They kept low, their guns brought up as they stayed alert of their surroundings. I then signalled for the other two, Ara and Yeonhee to follow.
“Stay close and don’t wander off.” I whispered over to Dawon as we took the rear.
I heard a scoff leave her lips, deciding to simply ignore it as my eyes looked over the terrain. Dohyun opened the door of the building, Chanwoo going in, Ara and Yeonhee following. Dohyun held the door open for Dawon and I, closing it behind him once inside. I heard Chanwoo yell out that it was all clear, all of us lowering our guns at the words.
“Only get what we need. Nothing more, nothing less.” I told them, specifically directing my words to our youngest.
I slung my rifle over my shoulder, taking my backpack off and opening it up. It didn’t look like there was much left in the store, someone must’ve raided it before we even knew it was here. I sighed heavily, heading over to the shelves, closest to the counter. I stopped as I noticed the body on the floor, a headless body I should say. I saw the man’s head a few feet away from the body, stepping over it as I shoved what was on left the shelves in the pack. I frowned as my mind started to wander, picking up that habit whenever I was left only to my thoughts in silence. I started thinking of that night all those months ago. I didn’t want to believe that she was dead, thinking she must’ve had to leave the riverbed because it was too dangerous to be out in the open. That’s the kind of hope I held onto, hoping I’d find her, alive.
My thoughts were cut off as I heard a scream ring out through the store. I dropped my pack at the sound, knowing that it was Dawon. Before I even knew what was going on I heard the others firing their guns. I ran over to where I heard her scream come from, seeing a biter take a good chunk out of Ara’s arm, Ara crying out. Dozens of them started pouring in through the back door. I drew my weapon, firing at them and killing as many as I could but there didn’t seem like there was ever going to be an end to them.
“Minseok the front!” I heard Yeonhee yell over to me.
I turned to see more pouring in through the front, my eyes searching for Dawon. I saw her cornered by three biters, trying to kill them but her hands shook too much to get a clean shot. I raised my gun and shot them down, running over to her before picking her up and running over to the other three. I set her down and told the others to form a line, protecting Dawon.

-Y/N’s P.O.V-
I cursed when the gas station came into view, seeing it crawling with biters. I was running low on gas but I guess I’d have to look for it somewhere else. Just as I was about to turn around I heard screams followed by gunshots. My instincts told me to just leave but I froze at hearing the scream again.
“Dammit.” I sighed heavily before turning the bike back and driving down to the gas station.
I didn’t bother turning the bike off as I hopped off, letting it fall onto its side. I raised my shotgun, shooting the two closest to me before pulling out my machete. I hacked at each and everyone of them, hearing the gunfire from inside the store continue. I lost count of how many I took down with my machete, using my shotgun on the ones a little further away. Within minutes the horde was starting to clear and I was able to get a glimpse of the people inside. It was one woman, a teenage girl, and three men. One had his back to me so I wasn’t able to make out his face. This made me think that some had made their way in through the back.
I cursed when my shotgun was empty, not having the time to reload it so I dropped it to the floor, pulling out my pistol. I shot at the ten around me, watching each of them fall as one of my bullets lodged into each of their heads. There were about five still standing , the others inside having taken care of most of them. I lowered my gun, hacking at the ones that remained, not even phased by the blood that splattered onto my face and arms. I watched the last one fall to the ground, panting heavily. I stumbled back a bit, looking over to the group inside. One of the men gave me a grateful nod, one I returned as I got a proper look at all their faces. My heart stopped at seeing his face, my gun and machete falling to the floor.
I lost my footing as I took in his features, noticing how his hair was longer, covering his ears now. Tears welled up in my eyes at seeing him, noticing how his face had paled. My legs felt weak for a second before they finally gave out as I fell to my knees. Minseok took a step towards me, his mouth opening to say something but no words came out so instead he ran over to me. The tears were streaming down my face by the time he reached me, kneeling down in front of me before wrapping his arms around me tightly. I hugged him just as tight, feeling his body shake in my arms as he let out a sob of his own. I felt his hand on the back of my head, pulling me in closer. I buried my face in the crook of his neck, holding him just as tightly.
“I thought I had lost you.” I said through my tears, clutching onto him.
I felt his chest rumble as he let out a chuckle through his tears, trying to keep them at bay. I felt his body shake once more as he let out a choked sob, pulling back from our embrace to cup my face in his hands.
“I’m right here, love, I’m right here.”

9 august 2018
It had been 2 weeks since I had seen Lu Han, we still texted a lot and we called whenever we could. But apparently he had left the country.. To go to China. What he was doing there he didn’t want to say, but it must be important seeing as he left without even saying goodbye. He promised he would explain when he got back but he wasn’t sure when that would be. Because of this it had gotten kind of quiet in my home, since Lu was here most of the time. But thanks to Minseok the quietness was gone quickly.
We have been together quite a lot these past few weeks and to be honest I enjoyed his company. I wasn’t sure if this was because of Lu or not, but for now I didn’t mind. Minseok had already taken me out a few times this week; we had gone to the park, to a few restaurants and sometimes we just walked around for a while. Today he was supposed to come by and make dinner, so we could eat together at my place.
In the beginning I would sometimes get the feeling that someone was watching us but the more we were together the less it became. This became less when he stopped coming with Jongdae. He stopped coming with the expensive car and stopped wearing the ‘expensive’ outfits, he became more relaxed. Last week he had taken Baekhyun’s bike to get here and sometimes he would walk, saying it was a good way to get his mind off things and just take a break from his work.
Minseok was going to make me that dinner he had promised two weeks ago, saying he had finally figured out a good recipe to make for the both of us. He had already warned me in advance to get some back up food just in case he messed it up, so my fridge was currently stacked with pizza and other snacks.
But there was a more important task at hand before he showed up, clean the place. As I moved around the house with the vacuum cleaner I had my headphones on as I listened to some music. I had already texted Minseok to tell me when he was here, just in case I wouldn’t hear the doorbell. My laptop was sitting on the table as I looked through some of the news posts online. There was still a lot of chaos in the city at the moment and the police was trying to take back control, and I had to admit.. they were doing a pretty good job.
As I moved around the apartment I started humming along to some of the songs that played. The soft buzzing of my phone made me stop walking and grab my phone out of my pocket. It was Minseok texting me he was almost here. While I was typing a message back the thing I didn’t notice was my laptop’s camera being switched on…
 Unknown’s POV
‘Why do I have to do this again?’ I asked as Kyungsoo followed me into my setup room. I sat down at my desk and grabbed my laptop, connecting it to the multiple screens in front of me. As the screens slowly came to life Kyungsoo let out a sigh and looked around, ‘you already know why’ he simply stated as he turned to me with a bored expression. ‘I have a lot of better things to do then stalk some girl, just because I’m a nerd doesn’t mean I don’t have a life’ I groaned while Jongin walked in and took a seat next to me.
‘First of all, you’re not stalking her.. we’re following her. Second of all, he never said you don’t have a life’ he argued before Kyungsoo walked over to the both of us. ‘You just don’t have a social life’ Kyungsoo said making me look at him as I heard Jongin sigh behind me. ‘Just leave hyung’ he muttered. ‘Whatever, just do your hacking thing. My job is much better anyway’ Kyungsoo said before walking out and closing the door behind him. ‘Killing people is not fun!’ I yelled after him.
As I turned back to my laptop the other screens were already projecting the views of the multiple camera’s we had set up or hacked into. ‘Did you set all of this up yourself?’ Jongin asked as he looked at the camera screens. Most of them, all of them, were set up at the bar area making sure we could see everything that was going on. A few screens projected the view of the camera’s outside the bar and the back alley, so we could see who was there and when. The camera’s Y/N had set up inside were also projected, giving us a view of the bar itself.
The upstairs area was without any camera’s, which is why we had someone watching the building from afar. With one of the camera’s outside I could also see inside the house, in the kitchen. Which is where she currently was. As I zoomed the camera in Jongin and I watched her move around, sometimes she walked out of view only to move back in later.
‘Ok, I now see why you consider this stalking her’ Jongin said as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. ‘I know right! It’s making me feel like such a creep’ I exclaimed making Jongin nod in understanding. ‘I’ve tried telling myself that we’re doing this to protect her but it’s only making it more weird’ I muttered making Jongin snicker and look back at the cameras. We sat in silence for a moment as we watched Y/N move around. She had her headphones on as she walked around the house with the vacuum cleaner.
We had only start watching her like this a few days ago, before it was Jongdae who would secretly follow her and Minseok. But eventually Minseok told us that he could feel she sometimes became uneasy so we pulled Jongdae back, giving them ‘alone time’ on their.. dates. When Minseok came back he always went straight upstairs to tell the boss how it went, as he was the one that made Minseok do this. In the beginning everyone could tell that he hated the idea, but the more he hung out with the girl the more he went to visit her.
Baekhyun had already started making comments on how he was with her and how he liked her, which Minseok quickly turned down saying it was only for his job. Everyone knew it was bullshit and we could see why.. Y/N was a nice girl to hang out with. She made Minseok smile and Jongdae seemed excited when he was told to drive him there, hoping he could see her as well. In the one time I had seen her see was radiating with this calm and happy vibe and it was honestly addicting. When Baekhyun told the others about the girl that sassed at Minseok and how she was the one that was taking up his time, I could tell there were others that wanted to meet her. Maybe one day we would, but for now we had to do with the pictures and the video cameras.
‘Hey, is that a laptop?’ Jongin nudged me as I snapped out of my haze and looked to the camera. As I zoomed in a little the imagine of a laptop became more clear. ‘Can you hack into that?’ he asked making me look at him, ‘don’t ask stupid questions’ I said earning myself a soft smack on the back of my head. ‘She might notice though, she’s turned towards it’ I explained as Jongin reached into his pockets to grab his phone. After unlocking it I saw him go to his contacts and go to Minseok’s page. He put the phone to his ear as he sat back in his chair.
‘Minseok, it’s me. Can you text or call Y/N, we need to move her away from her laptop’ he explained as I tried to listing to what Minseok said. ‘What the fuck do you need with her laptop?’ I heard him ask before Jongin continued talking. The conversation was cut short as Minseok responded with a ‘fine’ and hung up. ‘He still doesn’t like the idea of us watching her right?’ I asked Jongin who nodded as he put his phone back in his pocket. ‘Nobody does’ he spoke before looking back at the screen.
We watched as suddenly Y/N stopped moving and grabbed her phone. She turned away a little as she typed a response. I pressed a few buttons on the laptop before a new screen popped up, I changed the name to ‘her laptop’ and after only a few seconds it became live. We watched as Y/N stood only a few meters from the laptop, I now had full control over her laptop. I wasn’t planning on actually using anything on here though, besides the camera as it gave us a much better view of what was going on and this time we also had sound.
‘Ok, now what? Are we supposed to watch them the entire time or..’ I asked Jongin who just shrugged his shoulders as he got up from his chair and walked to the small fridge in the corner. He came back with two cans of beer as he handed me one and sat down again. ‘I guess so’ he said before opening his can and taking a sip.
The both of us sat in silence as we continued watching the screens, Y/N had already turned off the vacuum cleaner and put it away. She walked towards the bathroom and returned within a surprisingly short time with some make up on. As he moved towards her bedroom, which was directly across the kitchen Jongin and I suddenly sat up. ‘Is she really going to-’ I started but was cut off as she pulled the blinds down and lifted her shirt over her head. Jongin and I quickly looked around the room awkwardly, making sure to not look at the screen.
When the both of us looked to each other Jongin suddenly let out a small laugh, ‘So, what do you think of the weather today’ he asked before the both of us started laughing making the awkwardness fade. The sound of footsteps coming closer made the two of us slowly turn to look back at the screen. Y/N walked back towards the kitchen, this time she was wearing different clothes and she was humming a tune. She had left her headphones in her bedroom as she sat down in front of the laptop.
‘Can you hack her phone as well?’ Jongin asked as we watched her type away, probably messaging Minseok. ‘I could.. but do you really want to see the messages between her and Minseok’ I snickered as he let out a small laugh. ‘Probably not, from what I’ve heard he’s into some kinky shit’ he spoke making me nearly choke on my drink. ‘He’s going to kill you for saying that’ I laughed as Jongin smirked at me before nodding in acknowledgement.
Suddenly the sound of a doorbell made us look up. Y/N quickly stood up and walked out of screen, we heard a door opening and closing before the sounds of someone walking downstairs filled the room. It only took a few seconds before we heard laughter and people walking up the stairs. Minseok walked into frame with two bags in hand, he walked to what we assumed was the kitchen counter before walking back to Y/N. We saw him bring his hands up to her face and pull her close, you couldn’t exactly see what they were doing through this camera but from the one outside you could see them kissing.
‘Hm, I didn’t know they were already on second base’ Jongin admitted as we watched the two pull apart and engage in small talk. ‘Yeah same’ I muttered Y/N walked out the kitchen towards the bathroom. Minseok watched as she walked away and then turned to the laptop. With a smirk on his face he bent down, coming into full view for us. ‘Goodbye boys, I’ll take it from here’ he said to us before giving us a little wave and closing the laptop. The screen turned black as Jongin got up from his chair.
‘I’m going downstairs, Minseok will kill the both of us if we stay here’ he said as he opened the door and turned to look back at me. ‘and unless you want your tombstone to say ‘here lies Oh Sehun, loving brother and friend but he sucks at listening to his superiors so he died’ I suggest you go with me’ Jongin laughed as I got up from my chair. ‘Why do you always bully me’ I fake pouted at him as I locked my laptop and turned off the screens. ‘Because you’re the youngest of course’ he smiled and as I walked past him he ruffled my hair.
 Your POV
‘You still have the back-up food right?’ Minseok said as he turned back to look at me. He had been ‘working his magic’ for about an hour now and it was funny to see him try so hard. I let out a small laugh as I nodded, ‘the pizza is still on standby in the fridge’. ‘Good, we’re going to need it’ he admitted as I got up from the chair and walked over to him. ‘What are you talking about, that looks great!’ I exclaimed before hopping onto the counter to see what he was doing.
‘I know, I only said that to get you over here’ he said as he looked up at me with a grin. ‘God, stop being to adorable’ I fake groaned before putting my hand over my heart. ‘Piss off, I’m not cute’ he said as he accusingly pointed the spatula at me and put up a serious face. The room grew silent for a good 3 seconds before the both of us started snickering and later on laughing. ‘It works though’ he said as he looked at me and gave me a wink.
‘It does, but can you please hurry up chef. I’m getting hungry’ I smiled while softly kicking his leg with my foot. ‘I’m almost done, go set your ass down woman’ he groaned making me jump off the counter and sit down at the table. ‘The disrespect I get from you is unbelievable’ he muttered to himself before putting two plates on the table. As I stuck my tongue out to him me smirked at me. ‘Careful there, I’m the one with a knife right now’ he said as he walked back to the counter and using the knife to cut the last vegetables.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket as I looked at some of the new messages that had come in. There were a few from Lu, telling me how his trip was and how he was coming home soon. The group chat had also been busy, even though it was mostly just the girls asking how my time with Minseok was, and I also noticed how all the messages mentioning Minseok were ignored by Lu. The girls had giving me outfit tips for an indoor date and it was funny to see how different they were with taste in clothing. Anne usually went for the cute outfits and Kate somehow made sweatpants and a sweater look surprisingly hot.
‘Hey, I was wondering..’ Minseok started, making me put my phone down and look at him. ‘You know how I said that I would come by the bar later, during like.. working hours’ he said as he turned around and put a glass of wine in front of me. I grabbed the glass and took a sip, nodding at him to continue. ‘I was just wondering if I could invite some friends over? To also.. introduce you to them’ he finished as he looked at me with an unreadable expression.
‘You want to introduce me to your friends?’ I asked, a little surprised. Of course I knew things were going great, and I had already thought about introducing him to my cousin and Lu when he came back. But I just hadn’t expected him to ask first. ‘It’s fine if you don’t want to’ Minseok quickly reassured me as he realized my delayed response. ‘No no no’ I said as I gestured at him to stop before he started rambling. ‘I just didn’t expect you to ask. But yeah, that would be great. I’d love to meet your friends’ I smiled at him as I saw him physically relax.
‘I have to admit, you scared me there for a moment. I thought you were going to dump me on the spot’ he laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck. He grabbed his own glass of wine and took a swig, making sure to almost empty half the glass in one go. ‘Dump you huh? Are we dating then?’ I smirked at him, which he didn’t see as he choked on his drink a little and looked at me. His cheeks were red as we made eye contact and when he saw me smirked at him he let out a sigh. ‘God I hate you’ he mumbled as he put his drink down and smiled back at me.
Minseok turned back around as he switched off the fire underneath the pot and put it on the table in between us. He grabbed the bottle of wine of the counter and after putting a good amount of food on both of our plates he sat down across me. ‘Bon appetite, if you don’t like it just tell me’ he smiled before taking a bite of his food. I looked down at my plate as I grabbed the fork. It was obvious Minseok was looking at me as he waited for me to take a bite. As I took the first bite I looked up at him, as he waited for me to tell me whether I liked it or not.
‘You’re a shitty cook’ I told him as I put up a serious face, his face matched mine for a good second before I started snickering and took another bite. ‘Wow, I was joking before when I said I hated you but now I’m sure’ he said as he also continued eating. ‘But it’s good right?’ he asked after a while making me smile, ‘Yes Minseok, it’s really good’. ‘It better be, it took me two weeks to learn that recipe. Jongdae was getting tired of eating it’ he admitted as I let out another laugh.
‘You made Jongdae eat this for two whole weeks?’ I asked in disbelief as he put his fork down for a moment. ‘Not every day.. but you know, almost every day’ he grinned and I felt a little sorry for his friend. Jongdae was a sweetheart and he didn’t deserve to eat the same meal every day. I can’t imagine what it was like before he had perfected it. A small laugh left my lips as I imagined Jongdae eating the food with a sour face as Minseok sat next to him with a hopeful look.
After we finished both our plates Minseok had put the dishes away and turned on the water. I walked over to him as he started washing them clean. ‘It’s okay, I got this’ he said as he continued washing. ‘I know’ I said to him as I grabbed a cloth and tried off the dishes he sat aside.
‘As what will you introduce me to your friends’ I suddenly asked after a while. He had already finished with the dishes and waited as I dried the rest. ‘Is this your way of asking if we’re dating or not?’ he said as he sat down on the counter. I felt my cheeks heat up a little as I nodded my head. As I put down the last cup and the cloth I felt Minseok grab my hand and pull me to stand in front of him.
‘I’d like to introduce you as my girlfriend, but only if you want the same’ he nearly whispered before putting his hands up to cup my cheek and lift if up to I was looking at him. ‘We can take things slow, we don’t have to rush into things but I’d like to know how you feel about this.. about me and you know.. us’ he continued as our eyes met. His brown eyes staring at me he patiently waited for me to response.
‘Ok, let’s take things slow’ I softly spoke making him smile at me. He pressed a small kiss to my forehead before pulling me into a hug.
Minseok and I sat on the couch in the living room as he let me pick a movie from Netflix. After doing the dishes we decided we still had some time left before the girls would be here, so we would kill some time with a movie. As I flicked through the movies and shows Minseok sat back on the couch waiting for me to make up my mind. He had already texted a few of his friends, saying it was better to meet some separately because they could be kind of loud.
After finding a movie we could watch I put the remote on the table and sat back onto the couch, leaning into his side. He wrapped his arm around my waist as he pulled me a bit closer, making me more comfortable. We were only around 15 minutes into the movie when I felt myself get tired. I could always just take a nap before work.
Minseok ran his fingers through my hair as I silently fell sleep ‘I’ll wake you up later’ were the last words I heard before he pulled my even closer and from the way he held me, I could tell he didn’t want to let go.

I frown, waiting in line for the breakfast at the station. My morning was fine, a quick shower while getting stopped often. Men and women wanting to know more about any of the Kim brothers or Yixing. Some in total awe and wanting to help the Syndicate like them, other wondering if I could introduce them. The amount of people coming to me asking for Jongin’s contact number so they could sleep with him is infuriating. One woman even going so far as to peek her head in my shower stall and asked about it while I was completely naked.
I still remember the confused look on her face. Her skin a lovely light purple, her eyes a bit wide as she was part human and part something else. What she told me after was what really confused me. About how her friend had just managed to sleep with Jongin and was raving about the experience. This made me pause, and has stuck with me for the whole morning so far.
It’s not like it should matter to me, after all. He’s free to sleep with whomever he wishes. I was just thinking that perhaps he wasn’t the fuck boy he likes to pretend to be. I roll my eyes at my own naivete. I should know that people don’t change. I turn my eyes to the menu as a distraction. Many options of all different cultures. I look, making up my mind when someone some man stops, looking at me. His hair was orange, eyes all blue as he look at me, “Let me go before you.” He says, like a command.
“Fuck no, wait in line,” I glare, rolling my eyes and looking back at the menu. The man, his mouth open wide, was shocked to say the least. He moves, glaring at me. I see him look at one of the tables. Eyes meeting with Minjung.
“Weird,” I mutter, shrugging as I turn back, picking out my food. It was hot and ready, a cup of coffee in my other hand as I sit by Yixing. His food already done, plate bare as he sips on his iced coffee and watches a holovid of the news.
“It’s strange,” He says, keeping his face neutral. His eyes look like they were trying to solve a grand puzzle, though. “I’ve had someone come up to me and command me something too. When I checked, they had the Master’s mark.” He glances over, eyes meeting mine. “Someone knows, Lyra. That our marks don’t work, either.”
I frown, taking a long sip of my drink as I cut up a waffle. “Someone wanted to see if they could use us?” My heart beating fast, mind going back to Tribil.
“But who,” He asks, glaring at the news. The anger practically physical coming from him. “And why?”
A tray is dropped beside me, making me jump as I see Sehun. A nice pair of black jeans and a button up. He sets his drink down, looking at us, “Minjung is watching you two.”
“Probably trying to find something to hold against her brothers,” Yixing mutters, “Besides the obvious, that is.”
“What the obvious,” I ask, confused. Besides one another, that is. I don’t think they would do that, however.
Sehun tried to hold back a laugh and fails.
Yixing just smiles, “Don’t worry about it. Besides, I’ve heard rumors about some top secret information being hidden on some computer here. A message left to me by someone I trained. They wanted to meet me while I was here and show me, but he suddenly died in an accident.”
“Nothing ever happens suddenly like that without purpose,” Sehun says, taking a bite of his food quickly.
“I taught him to leave a trail that only people like us can follow,” Yixing says, looking at us, holding the cup over the side of his face, blocking the view of his lips from Minjung. Something he’s done the entire time. “I’ll look into it and check in with Minseok. Until then, this conversation never happened.”
“What are we talking about again,” I ask, a small smirk on my face.
Sehun smirks, “How was the Thruster?”
“Perfect,” I say, stuffing my mouth full of food. “I mean, it is me,” I mumble after swallowing. “Honestly, hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
I could see Minjung in my peripheral shaking her head, standing and tossing her cup of coffee away. She leaves, and I just shrug.
“The man, sitting alone a table over from her has been watching this entire time,” Yixing mutters still, keeping his lips out of sight. “She has spies.”
“That’s… alarming,” I say, frowning.
“They planted a small camera in our ship, too,” Yixing says, “Baekhyun has the video on it running on loop. Doesn’t record audio. Nothing else planted, so for now, that’s our only safe place to meet.” He stands, stretching, twisting so that he was still away form the man. “I’m going to go. If I ask any of you to go get ice cream on our communicators, meet me at the ship.”
“Go enjoy the beach,” I say with a smile, acting as if I never heard that. “You work too hard!”
As Yixing walks away, Sehun frowns, looking at the man. He glances back at me, his head away from him too, “I’m going to have to do something in a little bit. Play along, ok? You’ll know when it happens.”
“I know, the food is pretty good here,” I reply, finishing my food quickly. We stand, Sehun placing his arm over my shoulder as I just glance up at him.
He leans forward, muttering, “He’s following us.”
“I guess we gotta shake him,” I say, smiling at people passing by is.
“No,” He says, “Not yet. We can use this to our advantage. Just wait.” He says, moving and looking around. He takes my hand, pulling me down a hall as he just smirked at me. “Trust me,” He mutters, pushing me against the wall. My face in his hands as his lips press against mine. I was shocked, gasping. His tongue meets mine instantly, making this more risque.
He told me to play along. There has to be a reason.
So, I kiss him back, my hands on his chest. His shirt was soft, probably expensive as I pull his body closer to me. His hands move to my hips, gripping them tightly as his lips move to my neck. It felt wonderful, but there was something missing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been kissed by someone I wanted to kiss, so there is that. He pulls away for a moment, “Been forever since we got to do this, Babe,” He groans in my ear, breath tickling as I let out a small giggle.
I would feel someone watching us, so I do as he told me and played along. “No privacy on that tiny little ship,” I moaned, tangling my hands in his hair. “We’ve almost gotten caught countless times.”
“Fuck, don’t remind me,” Sehun mutters, biting my bottom lip quickly. “Trust me, tonight, we’re going t-oh shit,” He says, jumping away. Sehun’s acting was good as he looks at the man who was spying on us. A blush on both of our faces, “I’m sorry, sir,” He says, saluting as I quickly do the same.
“You’ll both do well to remember to keep your hands to yourself unless in the privacy of your rooms,” He says, looking at the both of us, looking more confused than upset.
“Sure thing,” Sehun says, tangling our fingers together as he pulled, “Sorry again, sir.”
We walk quickly, losing him as we leave the building. Sehun glanced back, looking at me and winking. A silent sign that we both did well that could easily be taken as something flirty. We walk a few feet, losing ourselves in the crowd as Sehun laughs. “Damn, I didn’t know you were a decent kisser.”
“Decent,” I ask, pouting. Horns from hover cars blasting as people passed by on bikes and hoverboards, making it kind of hard to hear for a moment. The city alive and full of noise, but somehow, it was comforting to me.
“Out of practice,” He explains, nodding. “I’m sure you could ask a certain Captain to help with that!”
I roll my eyes, a frown coming to my face. “So, who told you to do that, huh? Yixing?”
“Not quite,” He says with a smile, “Sadly, I swore to keep it secret.”
“I’ll just have to punch it out of you, then,” I mutter, hitting his stomach lightly.
“You could try,” Sehun mutters, his arm around me still. “However, I’m very good at keeping secrets. Unfortunately that means people tell me more, but…”
Jongin couldn’t walk three feet without someone throwing themselves at him. It was a bit annoying, but made keeping up the playboy image easy. He sighs, resting his head against the door to his brothers room. A moment of peace in a room where people don’t know where to find him was lovely, as Minseok just sat down behind him.
“Minjung isn’t stupid, you know,” Minseok says, rolling his eyes while taking a sip of coffee. A bit of paperwork to do as he helps write the guidelines for this base. “She said what she said because she already knows. You sleeping with other people isn’t going to change that. You’ll need a lot more than that.”
“Which is why I asked Sehun to make it seem like they’ve been dating for some time now behind everyone’s backs,” Jongin mutters.
Minseok glances over at his brother, shocked. “Well… that’s news to me.”
“Yeah,” Jongin mutters, pouting as he turns, taking a seat by the table Minseok has in the center of this room. He frowns as he crosses his arms and slouches in the seat. Minseok’s room was bigger than his, with a balcony and a full kitchen instead of just a refrigerator. Screens everywhere with news on it, Minseok liked keeping informed as much as possible. That part of their father definitely rubbed off on their older brother. He looks over at him, a small smile on his face. Watching his brother do his thing.
“For this to work,” Minseok says, leaning away from his pile of paperwork, “Is that they’ll have to keep acting that way. I assume that you told Sehun not to tell her.”
“Of course,” Jongin says immediately. “Besides, it’ll be easier if she’s angry at me. Make it believable.” He sighs. He knew they were just getting close. If the Air Traffic control woman didn’t show up, He probably would have kissed her. In a way, Jongin was very thankful. If he would have kissed her, this whole plan would have been for nothing. Jongin sighs, knowing that he may have even just ruined the only chance he has to tell her how he feels.
“That’s why you’re really sleeping around, huh,” Minseok asks, frowning.
Jongin nods, smiling sadly, “Funny, isn’t it? Everyone throwing themselves at me except for the only person I actually want any sort of… closeness with.”
Minseok frowns, “I just hope that, in protecting her, you don’t push her away for good.”
Jongin laughs. His brother saying exactly what he just thought. “It would still be better than what would happen if they would get their claws into her,” Jongin mutters, looking out the window. “Yixing has already told me they’ve tested both of them to see if their marks work. This is bad, if it gets worse…”
“It probably will,” Minseok says, “I’ve been looking into the files on the Commander’s station, but all the high stuff is locked, even to me.” He looks up, “I’m going to need to get one of their readers and download a key so I can access those files anywhere.”
“That is going to be difficult to say the least,” Jongin mutters, “Need a distraction?”
“Minjung is meticulous,” He mutters, leaning back, “Father’s would be easier. He keeps his in his room…”
“Well,” Jongin says, looking at his brother. “The man and woman who run the desk for the security clearance keys have both been giving me signs.”
“If you can get them away I can sneak in and get a copy of the key,” Minseok nods with a smile. “I can use a Cloaker.”
Jongin nods, remembering the small thing he’s talking about. You wear it around your wrist and it makes you fairly invisible. So long as no one touches you, you’re ok. “Tonight, then?”
“One? You distract them and take them somewhere and I’ll get the key. Should take two minutes at most.”
“Sounds like we got ourselves a plan.”
My hands sting from trying to pull the wrench, finally getting it lose as I let out a small yell in victory. I smile, hands covered in grease as I look at the other mechanics in the room. I take the piece that was bent, blocking the landing gear to come out as I just grin. “There,” I mutter, “Now it should work!”
“Thank you,” The pilot says, grinning. “No wonder Captain Kim has only you work on his Fighter.”
I roll my eyes, “That’s because he’s an asshole who likes to make everyone bend to his will.” I couldn’t stop the bitter feeling creeping over me.
“What’s he like,” someone asks, and I look over them. She was pretty, with thick arm and lovely pastel pink hair. Her eyes were completely black, looking at me with a smile.
“He’s a conceited asshole who thinks he’s better than everyone else,” I mutter, rolling my eyes for the thousandth time today. “He’s a good pilot and soldier, but that’s it.”
Part of me wanted to rage, upset at how he was acting. For a brief moment, I though he would have… I shake my head. What's worse it I would have let him. I’m glad he’s doing this, showing me his true self once again. I didn’t want to be another notch in his belt. I glanced back at everyone around me, looking at me with eyes wide, full of curiosity.
“You don’t seem to be caught in headlights over him,” A man says, looking over the landing gear to check if the bent metal did any damage. His skin a deep blue with white hair and golden eyes.
“He’s been pestering me for years,” I mutter, “Of course I’m not. ‘Lang, fix that scratch on my Fighter’, ‘Lang, don’t let anyone else touch her’, ‘You should really thank me for keeping you paid, Lang’. It’s annoying.”
The female looks at me, “Sounds to me like the two of you would have really hot angry sex.”
I shake my head, feeling my cheeks get hot, “Please no. Don’t subject me to that torture.”
“If that’s torture sign me up,” She says with a grin.
I move, grabbing a rag as I look over the screen of my communicator. A message from Yixing, asking for ice cream. “Hey, you all can handle the rest, right,” I ask, looking over.
“Yeah,” A few mumbles as I quickly move to the sink. I wash my hands, getting as much of the grease and oil off my hands before getting out of my coveralls. I grab my communicator, moving and leaving the hanger. I typed that I would meet him there, before moving.
A few minutes as I was almost there. My feet on the ground as there was a bit of sweat gathering on my face. I wipe my face, looking over and seeing Sehun leaning against our ship. I feel someone walking quickly behind, before Yixing was with me, pulling me along. His face was pale, eyes wide as he dragged me along. He looked shaken, and it was scary to see him like this. We get on, Sehun following as he checked his communicator.
“Baekhyun has it running loops of it being empty,” Sehun says, “We’re clear.”
Yixing pushed a small infochip towards me, about half the size of my thumb. “They would never expect this information to be given to you. Hold onto it. Hide it somewhere only you know. Nothing obvious like under your bed or in a shoe. It’ll be hidden from tech sweepers.”
“What’s on it,” I ask, looking at him. He was sweating, but he looked ill.
“We’ve been lied to this entire time,” He mutters, turning away from us and setting his head on the metal of the wall.
Sehun moves towards him, “What are you talking about?”
“This is going to sound crazy,” Yixing muttered, shaking his head. He looks at us, “Please, believe me. I would never lie about this. The Krytons…” Yixing looks at us. His face like he wasn’t sure of anything anymore. Like he was lost. “They’re experiments. They were all once human. ARE human. They’ve mutated into mindless cannibals.”
“What,” Sehun asks, looking at him, pulling him to look us in the eyes.
“You can’t be serious,” I ask, feeling like my heart wanted to stop hearing that.
Yixing looks at us, “I am serious! The Commanders of the Syndicate are testing ways to gain immortality on people.”
I pause, looking up at him. It just felt unreal to me. How can they get away with something like this?
Sehun looks disgusted. He was shaking, his hands in anger. Sehun shakes his head, “What?”
“Kryton tech is made by prison planets. The high security ones where no one will ever leave.” Yixing mutters, looking up. “It’s why they’re older. Not as good. They test people and other races thousands at a time just to see if something reacted differently to something else.” He glanced up. “They test on the prison planets where all the people so no one would notice anyone missing. The kind that people are sent to for the worst crimes, where no one would miss them.”
“And you have proof of this,” Sehun says, glancing to the infochip in my hand.
“Yes,” He mutters, “In that infochip! They call it ‘The Eternal Seed’, the name of the experiment.” He starts to move, looking away. “But they are going to know someone stole it. Baekhyun made it look like I was with him all day. I have a cover but they’ll suspect.”
“Yixing,” I say, looking up, “We’ve been… killing people?”
“We have no choice,” Yixing mutters, “Once they’re tested on, there's no going back. They’ve tried to turn them back for decades. Nothing. It’s irreversible. They become bloodthirsty monsters and nothing can change them back. But to keep up the illusion of a war, they made it so they’ll kill some of us. Except that’s been happening less and less.”
“We’ve been getting the upper hand,” I mutter, looking at Yixing.
“If we start to kill too many, we’ll go out looking and discover this secret,” Yixing explains. “They’ve started a new thing in retaliation. Operation Clipped Wings. Taking out the best of the best in terms of Kryton killing.” He looks at Sehun. “That list? Two names we know. Mine. Jongin’s.” Yixing glanced at me, “But, Jongin being the son of a Commander, there are additions to the documentation that takes his name from the kill list.”
“There’s no way in hell they’re killing you,” Sehun says, glaring. His hand reached out, grabbing Yixing’s shoulder tightly, as if to try to keep him safe immediately.
“Which is why I have to sleep with one eye open,” Yixing says, with a sigh. “Thankfully, I’ve trained for this.”
“We have to tell the others,” I mutter, looking up at them.
“I’ve already told Kyungsoo,” Yixing says, “Baekhyun knows too. Chanyeol can’t keep anything secret to save his life and that is a legitimate worry here.” Yixing mutters, pointing to me. “The Kim’s shouldn’t know because their sister and father will see right through them in an instant.” He looks at Sehun, “Sorry, but your plan of trying to make every think you and Lyra are together isn’t working. Neither is Jongin’s of making them think someone isn't important, so you can tell him to stop sleeping around. They can see right through it.”
I feel something in my heart flutter, hearing that. Knowing that sleeping around was just a plan more than something he actually wanted to do. I glance at Sehun, seeing him take a moment to analyze the situation before him.
“Fuck,” Sehun mutters, shaking his head. “We have to try and keep you safe. They could attack any minute.”
Yixing smiles, “I appreciate the concern. I’ve got steps to take care of that. I’m a master spy, after all.” He looks at Sehun, before looking at me. “Pardon me, please?”
I just shrug, watching Yixing smile at Sehun, before pulling him forward by the shirt and pressing their lips together. Before Sehun could even react Yixing pushed him away, smiling, “I’ve wanted to do that for ages,” He mutters against his lips, pressing them together again for a brief moment. “I’ll be fine, Sehun. Trust me.”
Yixing turns, walking out the ship at the press of a button. The smirk on his face as he just looked at Sehun, who was blushing like mad.
I smile, “If you keep blushing like that, you may turn your hair that color,” I mutter.
“He kissed me,” Sehun muttered, “And then walked off. Asshole.”
I felt a laugh bubble out of my chest as I try not to think about the horrors the Syndicate was causing. “I’m happy for you,” I mutter, walking out and leaving a very stunned Sehun behind.
I went straight to my room. I looked around, trying to find somewhere to put the infochip. After hours of looking around, I settled on taping it to one of the blades of the fan. I taped something to each of them, keeping it even as it turned just in case, since they seem to notice every little thing.
I lie down, feeling exhausted after today. My body aching from the weight of this secret I now carried. How the organization that saved me from an awful fate was the ones responsible of maiming people so badly they weren’t even human anymore. How I helped kill them, and keep this cycle going.
The nightmares that night were often and unrelenting.
Two pairs of lips kissing his neck and back made him shiver as he tries to keep the thoughts away. Sweat falling from his body after their really strenuous activity. Their hand all over him as he just smirks, hearing them moan his name. The woman in front of him was as tall as Lyra, and it took everything he had not to imagine it was her. He muttered their names, smirking and moaning in pleasure. He has to keep up appearances, after all. At least he knows he’s good at this still. A few moments later, he heard a knock pounding at his door.
He rolls his eyes, moving and quickly pulling on a pair of sweatpants. Leaving the two confused in the living room area as he goes to the door. When the door opened, all he wanted to do was let out a yell in anger. Jongin frowned, looking at his sister on the other side of his door. He looked at her smirking smug face, rolling his eyes again. She looks over her brother, seeing him covered in hickeys and scratches. His hair was an absolute mess, sticking everywhere. The signs of something heated that happened was obvious.
Minjung just smirked, leaning against the door jam casually. “Tell Ashra and Desmond that if they don’t get back to their posts, they’re going to get fired and sent to the nearest prison planet for disobeying security protocols.”
Two bodies quickly leave Jongin’s room, barely clothed and covered in blushes. Jongin rolls his eyes, moving to shut the door before Minjung placed her foot in the way.
“Enjoy yourself,” She asks, looking at him with the look a lioness would.
“Fuck off,” He sneers back. A seed of hate in his chest for her growing.
“Little brother,” She mutters, rolling her eyes, “Your plans are stupid and juvenile. Making it seem like she’s with Sehun? You sleeping around? Please. At least try a little harder to trick me.” She shoves the door, getting inside quickly, the door shutting behind her.
Jongin just rolls his eyes back at her. “Have you thought that this isn’t about you?” He looks down at her, in the eyes, “Not everything about you, no matter how much you want it to be. Or are you that desperate for attention that you create fantasies in your head?”
She glares, crossing her arms, “Such big talk for so many lies. It’s cute, it really is.”
She was always so condescending to him that it was wearing him down after all these years. The fact that she acts like thought shit while she’s safe all the time makes him sick. Jongin glares, “And what do you do? Sit in the Commander’s station, playing spy and soldier while being perfectly safe? What a wonderful life, sitting there and being daddy’s perfect little doll while he handles all the real work.”
She glares, aiming a punch to his face as he just steps back, catching her wrist and twisting her so her arm was pinned to her back. “Hit a nerve, hm,” He asks, smirking. She can’t fight worth a damn, it was the only thing she was bad at. Something that Jongin took great joy from. “You pride yourself on being the best at everything, but look at you now? A child can fight better than you.”
“You don’t know anything,” She growls, trying to pull away. “You have no idea the ignorance you’re living in. All you do is risk your life over something that’s ultimately futile!”
“You’re just angry that we’re out and are actually helping people,” Jongin mutters, pushing her away.  She hit the door with a huff, turning back towards him. Jongin just smirks at her, finally letting his thoughts out. “You’re trapped under Father’s thumb while we’re free to do whatever we wish.” He leans forward, giving her a super smug look just because. “You can sit in the safest place in all of space and watch while other people risk their lives and be braver than you’ll ever be.”
“So brave you can’t even tell Lyra you love her,” She spits out, her body shaking in anger.
Jongin could feel the pause those words caused, He could see it in her eyes she saw it too. It just made him even angrier, hearing her name come from someone so vile. “She’s nothing, how many times do I have to tell you?” He curses himself mentally, watching as she smirks up at him.
“She’s nothing,” Minjung asks, a laugh in her voice. “Baby brother, if anything she’s everything to you.”
Jongin smirks, “Who knew you were this fucking stupid. I expected better from you.”
She glares, “She’s so dear to you that if I wanted to completely ruin you, all I would have to do it end her pathetic little insignificant lif-”
Before he could think straight, he moved. Jongin glares, pressing her against the door, forearm at her throat. Her eyes wide as she looks at him. For a moment, she was scared. It shows in her eyes, and there was something deep in Jongin that felt a deep satisfaction on it.
“Lang is my mechanic,” He mutters, looking her in the eyes. “She saved my life when I was looking death in the face. I don’t love her. I think she’s a stuck up asshole who thinks she’s better than everyone else. Have you seen her?” Jongin forces himself to laugh, as if mocking Lyra, “She’s too much muscle and not refined and pretty enough,” He mutters, the lies hurting him as he speaks. “She’s a bitch. But I owe that bitch my life,” He mutters, glaring, “If you hurt her, I won’t rest until you suffer double what she did.” He smirks, “Then my debt to her would be even. Please, do it. Try, so that I won’t have to be around her any longer.”
He removes his arm, Minjung gasping for air, coughing. She glares up, before opening the door handle. “You think you’re hot shit,” She mutters, “But you know nothing. You’ll get what you deserve soon, brother, this I swear to you.”
“Get back to Father,” Jongin mutters, smirking at her. “He needs someone there to constantly kiss his ass, after all.”
The slam of the door echos down the hall. Minjung smirks, getting her communicator, typing rapidly.
‘The fly is an idiot. The robot is the perfect person. The fly will never fight back against her.’
She smiles, rubbing her throat. It went perfectly, for the most part. She should be sad that this will lead to her brother dying, but she just can’t seem to feel bad for him. He deserved this for doing exactly what father told him not to. None of their other brothers are the ones killing off too many, but he just had to be the family soldier.
As she walked, she passed by Minseok. Her eldest brother nods, “Minjung, are you alright?”
She nods, “Yes, seems like our youngest brother isn’t the biggest fan of me.”
“You know kids,” Minseok says, nodding. “He’s still in the rebellious phase in his life.”
“Rebellious and foolish,” She mutters, walking past.
Minseok looks at her, frowning as he feels the infochip in his pocket. Their father’s reader and all its contents ready for them to look though all contained in a tiny chip.
Minjung walks in, looking at Yser who was looking into a microscope. She sighs, moving and looking at him, placing a hand on his shoulder. He pull away, looking up at her. His face unblemished, strong jaw and body. He was literally the perfect human, the man who held her heart. She smiles, feeling him pull her to him and press his lips to hers.
“They’re ready,” He mutters, “Active and ready to be placed in a mark. We only have enough for one.”
“Lang,” She mutters, kissing him again. “I want him to die looking at the woman he loves. I want him to die feeling betrayed. I want to tell her to tell him how much she hates him as she stabs him.”
He looks at her neck, growing as he sees the redness. “He did this?”
She nods, “Not that I blame him. If someone threatened you, I would have done the same.”
Yser glances over her neck, worry in his eyes as he glanced up at her. “You both are more alike than you think,” He mutters. “What if he fights her off?”
“Then she’ll be told to kill herself,” Minjung says, “After all, we can’t risk the truth getting out. Their way, one of them dies and the other is left utterly ruined.”
“These marks are inhumane,” He mutters, shaking his head.
“The best thing to ever come from Tribil,” She says, fingers clutching his tie. “Now, if you don’t leave your work and come with me, you’ll regret it, Yser Tridon. I have a new job for those fingers of yours.”
“You always get so feisty after seeing your brothers,” He mutters with a smile, “I love it.”
Her hands go to his hair, pulling on the strands, “I thought I have to a job.”
Yes Ma’am,” He mutters, hands on her hips before standing, following her out the room with a grin.

SuLay AU / Over My Dead Body (Part Four)
Pairing: Zhang Yixing x Kim Junmyeon Plot: The leaders of the most powerful vampire empires, in Korea and China, make a deal. marrying their sons, to reunion their countries. The problem is that neither Yixing nor Junmyeon is happy about the arrangement. While Yixing doesn’t want to marry like ever, because he has a new lover every day, Junmyeon is a hopeless romantic and only wants to marry out of love. But it seems like they don’t have a choice. Warnings: blood, violence,… Words: 1499 Part One/Two/Three
A/N: I’m sorry for the Angst but I had too. So enjoy this and there are only two chapters to go after this. Also a big thanks to everyone that takes his time to read my stuff! <3
Junmyeon tried to focus on the book in front of him but he wasn’t able to. He was reading the same page for the tenth time and again he didn’t know what he even read. Frustrated he closed the book leaning back against the headboard.
Normally Yixing would have called him and they would eat dinner. The younger would mostly cook himself, even though they had staff for it. Junmyeon hadn’t understood why. All in all, eating wasn’t something a vampire needed and tasting food was only possible when it was spicy. But the younger prince was able to create unique recipes combining normal meals with blood, which could be an interesting taste. Yixing never explained why he was doing it.
When Junmyeon had told his brother the younger had suggested, that Yixing simply wanted to spend more time with his husband, the Korean prince didn't believe that.
Why should Yixing care about him and want to spend time together?
Junmyeon had tried to hate his husband, even today when the other had nearly bit him. But it was just not possible. The prince couldn't understand why. This whole thing was just confusing.
After letting his mind wander some more time, Junmyeon finally decided to make up with Yixing and then they could maybe even cook together. That would be fun!
The prince left his room, going straight for the younger vampire's office, but only to find it empty.
Yixing was also not in the living room, so the prince went to look if he is in the kitchen. But he only found their butler.
"Hey, Where is my husband?"
"The prince left hours ago for a hunt, sir."
"Oh..."
How could Junmyeon not have noticed that? Yixing often went on a hunt to cool off, so that was alright, but why wasn’t he back right now? It was probably just a longer hunt.
After another hour had passed Junmyeon started to get angry. Was his husband crazy? He as the one that should be pissed and not Yixing. Getting his phone Junmyeon decided to call him, but he only got the mailbox.
"Seriously!"
Maybe he went to Jongdae’s and Minseok’s mansion, he stayed often at the couple’s home.
Typing in Minseoks number, Junmyeond didn't have to wait long until the older picked up.
"Hey?"
"It's me Junmyeon."
"Shit..."
Wow really friendly.
"Don't dare to hang off, Minseok!"
The other sighed.
"What is it?"
"Do you know where Yixing is?" Junmyeon could hear other voices on the other hand, but couldn't make out what they are saying.
"What a sec, Junmyeon." Minseok apologized before he was talking with someone else.
"Get more blood. Fuck just hurry!" Was all Junmyeon could understand.
"Hey, sorry. I'm really busy right now, Junmyeon. I'm sure Yixing is fine." Junmyeond didn't like how pressed the other's voice sounded as if he knew more, but didn’t want to tell the prince.
"Minseok what is going on? Tell me!"
"...he will kill me if I tell you..."
"However it is, you should be more scared of me!" Junmyeon was getting angry, he had no time for that. Why couldn't the other just tell him what's going on?
"It's Yixing..."
"What is with him."
"...he..."
What was so terrible that Minseok can't bring himself to say it?
"The hunt..."
No. Junmyeon wanted to hang up. He didn't want to hear what was about to come.
"One of them had a white oak stake...soaked in a dead human's blood...Yixing wasn't able to..." Minseok chocked on his own words, but the prince has heard enough.
"No...Minseok tells me you're joking."
"He is still fighting but won't for long. It was too close to his heart."
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!!" Junmyeon knew screaming at the older wouldn't change anything, but he wanted to be angry. He didn't want to feel the strange pain in his chest.
"I had to promise him..."
"Why should Yixing want me to stay away?"
"I think you know why..."
Junmyeon gulped.
"I'm over in a minute."
"Junm..."
But the prince had already hung up, no one can change his mind.
Junmyeon hated to drive with a motorbike, but it was the fastest way to reach Kim's mansion.
Jumping from the bike as soon as he reached the gates, Junmyeon didn't care if it would be damaged.
The prince was running up to the doors, pushing them open not caring to knock first.
"Sehun?" He didn't expect to see his best friend here.
"You came. Junmyeon you shouldn't."
"Cut it! Where is my husband?"
Sehun knew better than to hold the older back, so he just led him to the guest room. Minseok was already approaching them. The older had obviously cried and his clothes were covered in blood, probably not his own.
"Will you help him?"
“Yes.” Before Junmyeon could, say anything more Sehun had grabbed his arm and dragged him into the next guest room.
“Give us a minute.” He told Minseok, before closing the door.
Sehun took a deep breath looking right at his friend.
“Do you really want to do this?”
“I have to help him!” With every second that passed the prince was getting more nervous and worried about Yixing.
"Why?"
"We have bonded yet. If he dies, the Chinese vampires will see the contact as broken. We don't need a war with them!"
Sehun nodded slowly.
"I know."
"Then why are you holding me back?"
"Junmyeon you always had this big dream of finding your soulmate. A person you truly love."
"I know." Junmyeon sighted, brushing with his hand through his hair.
"But I have to. He will die. Yixing will die. I have to bond with him so I can use my power to heal him."
"Do you love him?"
The prince was taken aback by that question, he never considered that he could love Yixing. This was an arranged marriage, made up by their fathers.
"No...That's not the point."
"Mhm...I know that you will do it, Junmyeon. And you should. But afterwards, you should ask yourself a question."
"What do you mean?" Junmyeon was confused by his friends words.
"Are you really just doing this because of the contract?"
"Don't be stupid, Sehun. We're just wasting time." Dismissing Sehuns last question, the older just left the room, finding Minseok and Jongdae already waiting for him.
"Let's do this."
"Did it work."
Tired of all the energy it took to bond, Junmyeon sat down next to Sehun, relaxing on the couch.
"Yeah...I guess. I drank his blood and he kind of drank mine. he was still unconscious, so I don't know if it was enough."
Junmyeon looked at his clothes and noticed that his sleeves were covered with blood. Yixing's blood.
"Hey, It's alright! He will heal with your help." Sehun moved closer, embracing Junmyeon in a comforting hug.
"He looked so pale. I wasn't even sure if he is still alive..." Junmyeon chocked, trying to keep the tears in, feeling embarrassed, by his reaction.
Sehun started to rub his back, trying to get the older to calm down.
"He didn't wake up yet."
"The healing process can take hours, Junmyeon. Yixing will be fine." The younger took Junmyeons face into his hands, forcing the prince to look at him. He wiped away the tears, that were spilling down his friend's cheeks.
"You have to be strong for him. Yixing will wake up."
Junmyeon slowly nodded, matching his breath with Sehun's, slowly calming down.
They sat in silence close to each other. The prince was still trying to cope with what just happened. If he wouldn't have said those terrible things, the other wouldn't have gone on that hunt.
"Why are you even here?" Junmyeon suddenly asked, looking up at Sehun.
"We had troubles with some vampire in Busan. My group was about to leave when Yixing came offering his help. I wanted to decline because he looked troubled, but he is the prince so I had no choice. He was fighting so carelessly. I don’t know as if he had to prove something.” Sehun sighted.
“I didn’t know they had a white oak stake. I promise, Junmyeon. I wouldn’t have let him go with us in that case. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.”
“Why are you crying then.” The younger asked, wiping away the tears on Junmyeons cheeks again.
“Because it’s my fault.”
“What are you saying?”
“Yixing was jealous because we’re so close. I think that’s why he was fighting so carelessly. He wanted to prove that he is better than you. If we wouldn’t have fought all this wouldn’t have happened.” The prince buried his face in his friend's chest.
“Junmyeon, you couldn’t know about the hunt. Yixing will wake up. You should rest now. He needs all your power to heal.”
The older only nodded.
“Should I bring you home?”
“NO.” Junmyeon immediately answered. “I’ll stay here. I want to be there when he wakes up.”
“Then let’s find a room so you can rest.”

BFF AU 3/?
Kibum puts his snack down. “Jonghyun. I’m not asking you what you think of Minho in terms of his qualities, his merits as a friend, or what you think of his existence. I’m asking you what you think of Minho as a person who is a potential romantic partner to you.”
(Warning: rated N for neglect/mean parenting mention)
Jonghyun wakes up to his phone buzzing. He groans as he rolls over.
Chat: ㅎㅅ~
CineMin: Are you awake???? CineMin: Pls be awake I have something exciting :D
Jjongie: I am aware of my currents surroundings if that counts as being awake
CineMin: Ye! CineMin: What are you up to???
Jjongie: napping
CineMin: Did I wake you up? I’m sorry TT
Jjongie: it’s ok. I needed to be awake in order to continue contributing something to society.
CineMin: Are you busy with something? I was hoping we could meet up. I have something to show you.
Jjongie: I theoretically have things I should be working on but I can make time for cuties ㅎㅅ~ Jjongie: How long do you think it’ll take?
CineMin: Uhh I mean if you’re busy it’ll take maybe 5 min but if you have more time then that will also work nicely.
Jjongie: ??? Jjongie: I have 1.5 hr before class
CineMin: Meet me at the west gate in ten minutes?
Jjongie: it might be 15 minutes but ㅎㅅㅎ ok
Jonghyun sighs. He had wanted to get a nap before his class, since his professor always left him emotionally exhausted, but seeing Minho again was worth it he supposed. He got out of bed and -- after throwing on the nearest clean smelling clothes -- made his way to the gate as quickly as he could. When he gets there, he looks for Minho but doesn’t see him. Though his height should make him easy to spot, there’s a noted lack of cute tall people in his line of sight. He pulls his phone out to call.
“Jonghyun!! Over here!!” comes Minho’s voice just before he hits the button. Jonghyun looks around wildly before a waving hand catches his eye. Minho’s sitting in a new white car, face full of excitement.
“Look!! I won it!!”
“How did you manage that, cutie?” Jonghyun asks as he walks up to it.
“I entered a contest at school. It’s just my lucky day I guess. They called me yesterday and I just got it this morning. I was going to take Kibum to test it out with me but since he’s busy all day you were the next person on my list. Want to go for a ride?”
Jonghyun nods and opens the passenger door. Once he’s buckled in, Minho pulls away from the curb and back intro traffic.
“You’re a safe driver, right?” he asks. Minho laughs.
“Yes, Jonghyun, I’m a safe driver. Much safer than Kibum. I used to drive us to high school.”
Jonghyun hums and gets comfortable. He notices the music is turned all the way down and adjusts the dial so that it’s audible; there’s a pop song playing but Jonghyun’s not familiar with it at all.
“I haven’t had a chance to set up the radio stations or anything, I literally just picked it up. You can put whatever you like on, I’m not fussy.” Minho explains.
Jonghyun nods and starts flipping through stations.
“So I know what Kibum likes to listen to, what types of music do you like?” he asks.
“Like I said, I’m not particularly fussy.”
“Minho. What type of music do you like? I’m a music major you have to give me something, dude. Even if it’s just ‘I like commercial jingle music.’”
Minho chuckles. “I like 90s pop rock the best.”
Jonghyun thinks he remembers a classic rock station and when he finds it he leaves it on.
“What type do you like, Mr. Music Major? And you can’t say it’s your capitalist obligation to like all of them or anything like that.”
It’s Jonghyun’s turn to laugh. “I’m really good at writing ballads. But I also really like jazz and other stuff. Recently, I’ve been getting into lo-fi hip hop as well.”
Minho nods, though it’s obvious he’s mostly unfamiliar with music terms.
“So are we going anywhere in particular, Mr. Chauffeur?”
Minho shakes his head, humming along to whatever song has come on.
“Can I ask you something about Kibum? Like I’m not trying to ask anything behind his back it’s just there’s stuff that I want to know about and I don’t know how to ask them without upsetting him.” Jonghyun asks, fiddling with the strap of his seat belt.
“Sure.”
There’s a pause while Jonghyun collects his thoughts. Minho simply keeps driving with no particular place to go, though obviously not lost.
“So, first off, I understand that Kibum’s aromantic and asexual. And I respect that. It’s just a little hard for me to grasp, since I’m like very the opposite.”
They stop at a stoplight and Minho turns to look at Jonghyun before nodding.
“Was there like a moment that he was like super squicked out by something that made him realize that? Or like did he date anyone and then realized ‘uhh nevermind this isn’t for me’? Like I want to ask just so I can understand but like I realize that those are usually not a-spec friendly questions and I haven’t been able to figure out how to ask them without sounding like aphobic.”
“I get what you mean, it is kind of a hard thing to word without sounding that way. No, I think he’s always known. I mean, I can remember when we would watch cartoon movies when we were little and I’d always be crushing on the protagonist or the love interest, sometimes both, and he’d just be like ‘when will the animal friend be satisfied with their life they don’t deserve to put up with the protagonist!’. It was more of just an issue of finding a name for it and finding out that other people are the same way.”
“So what you’re telling me is that Kibum is ace/aro but also a furry?”
“Oh my god, no. Absolutely not. He just liked that they had at least some sense.”
“So, to be clear, he’s never done anything with anyone ever?”
“Not really.”
“So there was something??”
“When we were 16 or so, I let him kiss me so I mean there’s that but that’s it.”
Jonghyun’s jaw falls to the floor.
“You two have KISSED? And you still claim to be that you guys are not boyfriends??”
“It wasn’t like that.”
“What was it like then?”
Minho sighs.
“I had dated or at least attempted dating by that point. If he hasn’t told you yet, he’s in love with the concept of love but is disgusted by the thought of being in it. So he was asking me what dating was like and all of that. He said he wondered what kissing was like, so I said that since I had already had my first kiss that if he ever got too curious he could kiss me. So he did, said ‘huh that doesn’t seem so great’ and we both moved on.”
“I can’t even tap his shoulder without him getting grossed out and you guys are kissing?”
“Well first off, we’ve kissed once as consenting adults. Secondly, I’ve known him since literal infancy. So that gets me some upgrades to the friendship. Is he super physically affectionate with me all the time? No. But if I’m freaked out and need a hug or to hold hands or whatever he can usually find some sort of way to deal with it enough for me. Though I also respect when he can’t, which helps.”
There’s a pause in the conversation as Jonghyun tries to process the information. They park in front of a little sporting goods shop.
“This is my parents shop. I just want to run in and show them my car. It shouldn’t take long so you can either come in or just stay in here, whichever is better for you.” Minho explains; he looks nervous and Jonghyun isn’t sure how to deal with it.
“I can come in, it’s fine.”
“Just, do me a solid and be as casual as you can.”
“Casual meaning act hetersexual?”
“Yeah.”
“Got it.”
They get out and go into the store. There’s a woman at the counter helping a customer, the only people in there besides them. She nods at Minho but continues with the customer, so Jonghyun tries to occupy himself with looking at the few bikes they have while Minho appears to tidy up some shelves. Eventually, the customer leaves.
“Don’t you have class?” the woman asks flatly.
“I only have my 8am today, mama. I have a surprise though,” he says, going up to her for a hug.
“What, are they giving you more money?” she asks.
“No, they’re not. I did win a car today though!” he says, pointing out the window.
“Wow, is it new?”
“Yeah. Brand new. They gave me a parking pass and few gift cards with gas money and car washes and stuff too. I talked to Kibum’s dad and he’s supposed to help me work out the insurance this weekend.”
As his mom looks out the window, she notices Jonghyun.
“Oh excuse me, sir. Is there anything we can help you with?” She asks, putting her customer service voice back on.
“Mama, this is Jonghyun. He’s that friend of Kibum’s I was telling you about.”
“Oh. Hi Jonghyun. Nice to meet you. If you need anything, just say, okay?”
Jonghyun bows a little and says a hello. Minho’s mom is quieter now that she realizes they’re not alone.
“Why don’t you give it to Minseok? He needs it more than you do.”
“Mama, he already has a car. I don’t have one and besides I’m the one that won it.”
“But what do you need a car for? You can’t even pay for you schooling, how are you going to pay to keep a car!”
“I’m not giving him my car, mama.”
“God, Minho. You’re so selfish. You make us pay for all these things for you and you can’t even be bothered to help your brother out.”
Minho’s mom turns away and starts cleaning up something on the counter. It’s clear from Minho’s voice that he’s hurt at her reaction.
“Hey Minho, I forgot that I have to grab something from someone before class, can we head back?”
“Oh, yeah.” Minho says. He turns to his mom and reaches for a hug but is disappointed. “I’ll see you later, mama. Love you.”
She says something that sounds like an annoyed ‘I love you too’ and waves him away.
They’re silent as Minho pulls back into traffic and heads back in the direction of school.
“Is the time going to be okay?” Minho asks quietly after a moment.
“What? Oh, I don’t actually have anyone to meet. I just...that seemed uncomfortable and you seemed like you needed help getting out of that.”
“Oh.” There’s a pause. “Look, I’m sorry you had to hear all that. I’m just...they just...it’s...”
“Don’t worry about it, Minho. We all have situations at home. I tell you what, if you take me to the store, I’ll buy you a snack or something for getting me out of the apartment. I think it’s cool you got the car and I think you deserve to keep it.”
“You don’t have to do that, I’m just happy you could come.”
Jonghyun doesn’t force it and there’s a silence again.
“So what about you?” Jonghyun asks quietly.
“What about me?”
“You said you attempted dating before. What team do you play for?”
Minho attempts a laugh. “I guess you could say I play for both teams.”
“Do you...play? Or are you and Kibum the aces up each other’s sleeves?”
“I’m more of a holomorph.”
“A what?”
“A holomorph. It’s a term for fungi, like mushrooms and stuff, that go through both asexual and sexual phases.”
When they reach the stoplight, Minho glances at Jonghyun and laughs at his confused expression.
“I’m demi-ace.”
“Why...didn’t you just say that?”
Minho laughs but it's only for a moment.
“Is it ok if I just go ahead and take you back to campus? I have something I have to go do.”
Jonghyun hums. The rest of the ride is quiet and soon they pull up to the west gate.
“Thanks for riding around with me. I’m sorry again about my mom.”
“No problem. Just text me anytime you want to do this, minus the mom part, again.”
Jonghyun gets out and watches Minho drive away before heading to his class.
*
When Jonghyun gets out of his class, he has too many unread texts.
Chat: ㅎㅅ~
CineMin: Thanks again CineMin: It means a lot
Jjongie: no problem, it was good for me to get out of the apartment. Jjongie: besides, I’m always up for car rides with cute and lucky boys ㅎㅅ~
Chat: I’ll Uhhhh Just Have A Friendship Please
Kekeke: we need to talk when u get out of class
Kekeke: u left ur door open again so im here and helping myself to chips
Jjongie: not my chips ㅎㅅㅎ im on my way back ㅎㅅㅎ
He runs back to the dorm, fearing for his chips. When he gets to his room, the chips are safe and sound and Kibum’s sitting on his beanbag chair with some carrots and humus.
“I thought you said you were eating chips??”
Kibum laughs. “I’m not that dumb and also I don’t like that flavor.”
Jonghyun sighs, half in exasperation and half in relief, and plomps down on his bed. “So what did you want to talk about?”
“Minho told me he took you for a drive.”
“Yup. We went by his parents shop. Who’s Minseok?”
Kibum sighs deeply. “Minseok is Minho’s older brother. He goes here too, he’s a junior. He’s on a full scholarship like I am. Things are...easier for Minseok. When their parents had Minho, they were hoping for a daughter. Even now I think they wish he’d been a daughter.”
“So why would they ask Minho to give Minseok his car if things are easier for him and he has more money?”
“Because they feel Minseok deserves a new car and Minho doesn't.”
Jonghyun nods but doesn’t understand.
“Jjongie, how do you feel about Minho?
“In what context?”
“Jonghyun, you know what context I’m talking about.”
Jonghyun sits up and grabs his bag of sour gummies off his dresser.
“I mean, he’s charming and sweet and handsome. He’s a very likable person.”
Kibum puts his snack down. “Jonghyun. I’m not asking you what you think of Minho in terms of his qualities, his merits as a friend, or what you think of his existence. I’m asking you what you think of Minho as a person who is a potential romantic partner to you.”
“Oh. He’s a total cutie and I’ve had a crush on him since you introduced me to him at the diner.”
Kibum makes a face between pleased and dissatisfied.
“Why? Did he say something about me?”
“You heard the conversation at the shop, yeah?” Jonghyun nods. “That’s how he’s treated at home. That’s how he’s always been treated at home. That’s part of why he and I are so close; I’m apparently the only person out of our two families who realize that he is his own separate person who needs affection.”
“Oh.”
“So he has difficulty distinguishing his own feelings for people if they show him affection.”
“Meaning?”
“The first girl he dated was this friend Sulli. They both played soccer, were both considered pretty, they were the typical cute high school couple. After a while though, it became clear that his feelings weren’t for her, but rather her attention. Things ended as well as they could but it’s left scars on him nonetheless. If you are planning on pursuing Minho romantically, you need to understand that things will be going slowly. That he is, in a way, affection starved and will need time to understand his feelings for you.”
“So if I want to try dating Minho, I need to make the first move but let him dictate the pace?”
“Yes. And as long as things are consensual between you guys and you make sure that he is doing ok, you have my blessing to do so.”
“Sweet!”
“Ok, that was all I wanted to talk about, so I’m going to go sleep now.”
Jonghyun doesn’t even wait for Kibum to leave the room before he pulls his phone out.
Chat: ㅎㅅ~
Jjongie: So if someone wanted to take a cutie like you out on a first date, where would they take you?
CineMin: Honestly, I’ve never been asked on a date before. I’ve always been the one to ask.
Jjongie: what are you doing this weekend?
CineMin: I have to watch the shop ;;;; CineMin: But I don’t have my afternoon class on Monday so we could do something then?
Jjongie: Pick me up at 5? I’ll give you more info later once i get a planㅎㅅ~ ㅎㅅ~
CineMin: ok ^^

Short Story: Runaway Part 3, starring OT12. WARNING: Mild Language, family problems, rule breaking, and mentions of bullying. Genre: Biker!AU, Fluff, Friendship, Slight Suspense Word Count: 4,706 A/N: Haha late update. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When midnight rolls around and you hear the revving of engines, you and Yuri are already waiting out on the porch. She kept fidgeting, asking you how her hair was and if she looked fine. "You look nice." You tell her for the nth time, smiling at her nerves. "Don't be so tense. They're really easy to get along with." You remind her.
She nods, trying to take your word for it. Just as the boys start circling the streets, you run out to the road waving. "Hey, guys!" You greet when a few of them stop and climb off their bikes.
For a moment, you're afraid that you greeted the wrong motorcycle gang, because none of them say anything, just stare. But it has to be them, you can see Minseok in the back without his helmet. Finally, one of them runs over to you.
"You actually came!" Yixing exclaims, wrapping you up in a fierce embrace. You grunt at the strength of it, but it doesn't hurt. It's a nice kind of pressure. He still had his helmet on, so you could only tell it was him by his voice.
"Well, why wouldn't I?" You ask him when he pulls away.
"Are you kidding?!" Jongin exclaims, coming in for his turn (again, you only recognize him by his voice). "Soo told us all about your dad! He sounds terrifying..." Then, guiltily, he says, "You don't mind if I never drive you home, do you?"
You burst out laughing, shaking your head. "Oh, come on, my dad's not scary at all!" You tell him, and he widens his eyes skeptically. You feel what you think is Baekhyun and Sehun tackle you at the same time before adding, "He was just being cautious because he's never met a biker."
"Hey, who's that?" Minseok quips, riding up on his bike and nodding to your porch. He hasn't worn a helmet since you've met him, and you briefly wonder if that's legal before looking back and realizing that Yuri never followed you out. She must still think she's not welcome.
"That's my sister." You say, looking back at your friends. "You don't mind if she comes, do you?" You ask.
"Your dad isn't making her babysit you, is he?" Jongdae inquires, wrinkling his nose in distaste. He must have heard the story from Kyungsoo, too.
"No, I invited her." Then, biting your lip, you mutter, "That's fine, right?"
"Your sister?" Chanyeol pipes up. He pulls off his helmet to get a better look at her, his cheeks coloring slightly. "Why's she still over there?"
"I think she's worried you all won't like her." You say truthfully, looking back at her. After a moment, you wave her over, and she comes. "This is Yuri," You introduce her. A chorus of "what's up" and "hey" sound about, which makes her smile.
"Hope I'm not intruding." She waves, to which many of the boys shake their heads at, smiling. YiFan pulls off his helmet and asks her who's she's riding with.
"Oh, she can ride with me." Chanyeol offers a little too eagerly, and Yuri glances at him in shock. "I prefer it if you sat in the back, though." He grins easily.
"I'm guessing you're Chanyeol, then." Yuri laughs, walking over. He gapes at her, then looks at you.
"You talked about me?" He asks while handing Yuri his helmet and leather jacket. She takes it silently, but looks mildly surprised at the act before donning herself in the gear.
"I talked about all of you." You clarify, so he doesn't feel any more special than the rest of them. He gets the hint and laughs at it, shaking his head at you in embarrassment.
"Get on, _____, we only have a few hours to ride tonight." You hear Junmyeon say something behind you. You're about to climb on the back of his bike when Yixing suddenly reaches out and grabs your arm.
"No, ride with me this time." He begs, and you blink at him in surprise.
"What? No way, I'm driver." Junmyeon argues, and you sigh at the both of them. Suddenly, you remember what your sister said a few hours earlier about them all having a thing for you, and you blush brightly in the moonlight. There's no way it's real, but the way they're acting right now is strangely desperate...
"Rock-paper-scissors, for God's sake." YiFan complains when the two keep going back and forth. Junmyeon throws out a fist, while Yixing throws out paper. Triumphantly, he whisks you away to his own bike while you watch Junmyeon's shoulders sink in defeat.
"You're both dorks." You tell Yixing when you're seated behind him, arms wrapped around his lithe waist.
"I just don't know how many nights you'll choose to come out and spend with us, so I want my turn to ride with you before you decide you have something better to do." Yixing says when the boys begin to ride down the street.
"What?" You ask in surprise, looking up at the back of his helmet. "I wouldn't do that." You feel him shrug, but he doesn't say any more because he's busy focusing on following the guys down the road.
The second time riding with them is just as exhilarating as the first time. You watch in awe as they maneuver around one another, Chanyeol being extra flashy just to impress his rider. Without a helmet this time, your hair is blown back in the wind, and sometime during the drive you pressed your cheek against Yixing's back to try and block it, to no avail.
The wind may not have died down, but neither has your beating heart. Curse your sister for making the boys' innocence seem like they have ulterior motives. Would it be so surprising, though? They had immediately accepted you into their environment even without any formal initiation, but you liked to think it was because you just belonged. Feeling a little insecure, your arms unconsciously tighten around Yixing's waist.
Tonight the guys bring you to a railroad, the tires on their bikes rumbling over the grass and gravel. Finally, once you've trailed along the side of the tracks for about ten minutes, they stop and climb off their bikes. Sehun is the first to make a beeline towards the abandoned train cars, jumping straight into an open one and rolling around like an idiot. Baekhyun and Jongdae follow a second after, joining the youngest on the metal floor.
You shake your head in amusement, before witness Chanyeol pick your sister up princess style and carry her over there, too. You at first became overprotective, before realizing she was wearing heels. Chanyeol must have thought it would be dangerous for her to walk on the tracks with them on and out of the kindness of his heart (or from the blush on his cheeks) to carry her over them. You watch their silhouettes move in the dark of the night, reminiscing over their already forming bond. Maybe the reason you got along so well with the boys was because they were just that accepting of strangers.
Yixing is discreet as he slides off his bike, pulling off his helmet and hanging it on the handle. He watches you watch Chanyeol, before slipping his arms underneath your legs and lifting you off his ride. You yelp in surprise, latching onto his neck for support and making him laugh. "Y-Yixing?! What are you doing?" You see Junmyeon and YiFan throw you worried glances before Yixing replies to you.
"I saw you so wistfully staring at my giant friend over there and thought you might want the same treatment." He muses, already approaching the train tracks. "Was I wrong?" Well, he was, but you weren't going to deny a free princess carry.
"Nope," You giggle, kissing his dimple in thanks. He's probably the only member who has kissed your own cheek, so you felt it was finally time to finish the round. He doesn't say anything, but you see the way his smile broadens ever so slightly before jumping onto the railroad and lifting you up into the train car. Immediately after setting you down, you pull him up beside you and you both sit on the edge as the other members make their way in, too.
"So.. is there any reason as to why we're here?" You hear your sister ask from somewhere inside the car. It was too dark inside to see her, but you know she was still by Chanyeol because his voice pipes up next.
"Yeah, the guys all prepared something fun." He says, a layer of anticipation in his tone.
"Sort of like last time, _____." Jongin tells you as he climbs in. Now that all the guys are seated together, you hear the rustling of a bag and then the click of a lighter. Lu Han holds the flame in front of him, the small fire illuminating everyone's faces barely enough for you to see them. Then he carefully pulls out something that looks like a stick and lights it.
It burts and sparkles, and you realize with a grin that the boys really enjoy bringing these out.
"This is so cool." Your sister murmurs, watching the sparks fly and hit the floor with a grainy sound. It almost sounded like rain, and you all watch in awe until the light gradually dies out. Then, the lighter is back on and another stick is lit, and the process repeats. After the third one, the boys start rambling, sharing stories for you two to hear and laugh at.
"One time," Junmyeon begins comically. "Kyungsoo had brought out our scrapbook and YiFan and I saw a photo of us in there." He says, and you glance at Kyungsoo, who starts laughing since he already knows the end of this tale. "We were trying to figure out who took the picture, when YiFan says--"
"Can't you tell a different story?" The other guy interrupts, clearly embarrassed about whatever this was about. The boys all erupt in laughter, before Junmyeon continues.
"He said, 'Myeon, I think you took this picture. Or did I?'" You see YiFan buries his face in his arms. "Then I told him, 'Yah, we're both in the picture! How is that possible?!'" This time you and your sister burst out laughing, you throwing your head back and your sister leaning forward to clutch her stomach. It really wasn't that funny of a story, but YiFan's reaction right now was making it more amusing that it should be.
You sympathetically reach out to pat his knee and he lifts his head finally to meet your eyes shyly.
"Oh, oh, I have one I can't tell." Zitao exclaims, raising his hand for attention. "It's not a funny story, it's a scary one." You're excited to hear it, but you watch the guys roll their eyes at him.
"Tao, you're scared of everything." Minseok chides, lifting an eyebrow at him.
"Well, yeah, but this time it was legit scary! I actually ended up running away!" Zitao defends himself, turning red.
"Go ahead, I want to hear it." Surprisingly, your sister says this, and you're happy that she was becoming invested in the guys like you have. There was also a very, very small part of you that wanted them all to yourself.
"Thank you, so..." It wasn't anything too terrifying, like the boys hypothesized, but you know that if it were you in that situation, you would have gotten frightened also. Your sister doesn't think so, though.
"Haha, that really wasn't as creepy as I thought it would be." She chuckles, and the guys all agree with her.
"What! I thought it was kind of scary." You admit in shock.
"That's because you're also afraid of everything." Yuri reminds you in amusement. "Remember that one time I brought home a butterfly and you ran into your room?" Groaning, it's your turn to hide your face, except you press it against Yixing's shoulder and bite your lip.
"Why do you have to bring up the most shameful one?" You ask her in defeat.
"You're afraid of butterflies?" Sehun questions, lips parted in surprise. "They're harmless, though." You nod, already knowing this. "Explain." He demands lightly, wanting to understand.
"I don't know, they're just scary looking." You shrug, moving away from Yixing's arm. "No.. scary isn't the right word.." You purse your lips in thought and they wait patiently for you to gather it. "They're beautiful little things, but when one comes near me, my automatic reaction is to run away. I don't know why. I just get scared whenever they're around."
"Sounds like a phobia." Baekhyun comments. "A phobia is having the irrational fear of something, so maybe there isn't an actual reason for it." He informs and you nod in acceptance, finding that explanation logical. The sparkler dies and you all wait for Lu Han to light another one before continuing your splurge of stories. It was fun and interesting, hearing about things they've done together in the past. You really appreciate the atmosphere and get comfortable, putting your weight on Yixing when he tentatively puts his arm around your shoulders. It was a mindless action, leaning against him, because you were so engaged in the conversation you didn't realize you had done it.
"Yah, let's talk about the road trip. I'm tired of being the butt of your jokes." YiFan whines, and you don't know why you're always surprised to hear him act so cutely. Maybe it's because of his strong exterior, but unfortunately(?) for him, the members thought it would be fun to bring up every embarrassing thing he's done or said to keep the mood light. To his credit, he did put up with it for longer than you expected, so it was only expected they would cave to his request and change the subject.
"Right, have you decided if you're going or not, _____?" Chanyeol asks you ecstatically.
"Wait, what's this all about?" Yuri chimes in before anyone else can say something. She's looking at you with an expression you can't quite place, but you do know that it makes you on edge. You unconsciously place your hand on Yixing's thigh for comfort.
Seeing your silence, YiFan explains it to her. "At the end of the month we're heading out of town on a road trip together. _____ was invited against my better judgment, but I was outvoted." He says. Yuri nods gratefully at him for telling her the details, but she's still looking at you with that face.
"What?" You ask her, tired of the wait.
"Don't 'what' me! Does dad know you're going?" She asks.
"I don't even know if I'm going!" You retort, more defensively than you meant to. She was coming at you though, even worse, in front of your only friends. You felt attacked, weak, and you didn't want to appear so.
"Well, have you at least let dad know you were thinking about it? Or were you planning on running off with them just like the first time?" She snaps, and you wonder if it was really a good idea to bring her. Why was she being so hostile now?
"Yuri, of course I'll tell him, but only when I decide. I'd only waste his time and make him worry if I told him I might be going and then decide not to." You try to say calmly, rationally, and thankfully she backs off a little, accepting that response.
"Sure, okay, but what you did was pretty shitty."
The sparkler dies, and so does your voice.
In the short period of darkness, you seize your chance to slip away from Yixing and slide out of the train car, your tears barely at bay before you're running down the tracks and away from all of them. You hear someone following close behind you and try to out run them, but they easily keep up with you and you finally stop when you feel your chest twist unbearably with hurt.
You abruptly fall to your knees, sobbing, and instantly a pair of arms wrap around your kneeling form and comfort you. Had you not just been in these arms, you wouldn't have recognized it was Yixing. "It's okay, _____, you can cry until you feel better." It was the kindest thing he could have said in that moment and you feel your heart sway in comfort. You weakly hug him back, letting yourself bask in his scent and breathing until you've finally stopped the tears.
"I hate myself." You whisper, and you know this is a reoccurring problem for you. You think you're fine, that you're happy, and then you fall right back into self hatred. You hope this time you don't feel it for too long. "I'm always running away from my problems, Yixing. Even now I did. How will I ever change?" You croak, guiltily pulling away from him. If you could stop touching him altogether you wouldn't have minded it, but he was still keeping you close in fear of you losing you entirely.
"_____, it's alright to scared or anxious, and it's alright to want to run away." He says gently, pushing your hair out of your face while you sniffled. "Us guys feel that way all the time, especially when we first formed this group. We weren't all this close before." He says.
Unable to imagine it, you murmur, "Really?"
"Yeah, in fact, I used to get in fist fights with YiFan and Kyungsoo all the time." Your eyes widen this time. Those three were probably the last ones you imagined every getting in an physical fight. If anything, your bets were on the rowdier ones like Baekhyun and Jongdae. "You know that cut on YiFan's eyebrow? I did that, I pulled a blade on him." You gasp lightly, and you see him glance the other way. "It's not something I'm proud of, in fact, I regret it, but that was our way of venting before we realized it might be better to talk things out." He chuckles then, looking back at you and sitting on his butt to get more comfortable. "The first time we ever talked about our problems was the awkwardest night of my life, but it was worth it. After that we managed to get along just fine, and now they're my best friends in the world."
You don't really understand where his point in telling you this was, despite your appreciation of him sharing it in the first place. Then, he says, "So the first step in changing your ways, _____, is to face your fears. Even if you're afraid of doing something, do it anyways. That's what bravery is." He finishes wisely, flashing you an encouraging smile.
You nod silently, taking in his advice before shutting your eyes. "I don't really want to go back there..." You know that if you did, you'd end up feeling even more embarrassed than if you stayed and defended yourself. To your surprise, Yixing nods in understanding.
"You don't have to. I can drive you back." He offers, and his empathy gives you a strength you didn't realize you could gain from another person.
"I'll try," You declare, wiping your eyes fiercely. Since when did you become such an open cry baby? "It'll be my first step to facing my fears, right?" You say, and Yixing chuckles, helping you stand up.
"Good choice." He praises you, patting your head.
You both take your time wandering back to the train car, and you ran farther than you thought. You mentioned this to Yixing, and he nods, eyes widening as he tells you how he thought he might have to run a marathon is you decided to run any longer. It made you laugh and you quickly felt your mood rising. You felt yourself climbing out of that hole of self pity and stepping on the shore of pride. Maybe if you worked on yourself a little more, you wouldn't have to make other people worry in the first place.
By the time you're in front of the lit box again, you're in the middle of laughing at something Yixing said. "Oh, you two are back." Jongdae muses, pulling you up and then Yixing. "We were just saying how we thought Yixing was trying to hit on you during your weak moment." The guys all laugh and you feel yourself blush.
"Don't be so lewd, Dae, she was just using the restroom." Yixing tells him with a huff, and you don't deny his lie, thankful that he was keeping your tears with him a private thing.
"Oh, so you followed her like a creep?" Baekhyun adds playfully, a smirk dancing on his smooth lips. "I bet you enjoyed hearing her pee."
"You're sick," Junmyeon gags, not finding humor in their jokes. You laugh despite yourself, unable to help it when they were enjoying their selves this much.
The rest of the time went greater than you could have hoped. Yuri eventually apologized and you said you forgave her, and even reminded her that you were an adult and didn't need to report everything to dad even if she still had to. You said it lightly and elicited a laugh from everyone, even your sister. The sparklers ran out around 3:00 AM and the next thing you know, Yuri is yawning in exhaustion.
"You're sleepy already?" Chanyeol asks her, poking her cheek affectionately. You watch as she pouts, and expression you don't see often on her.
"I have a normal schedule, unlike you night owls." She motions towards all of you, and you see a few heads turn your way.
"Yah, you have a bad sleeping schedule like we do?" Lu Han mutters judgingly and you smack his arm for it.
"How else am I supposed to come out at night with you guys?" You ask him, and they all guffaw as Lu Han shyly laughs in realization.
The boys all end up rock-paper-scissoring again to see who would give you and Yuri a ride home. To Chanyeol's joy, he wins Yuri's presence and picks her up and places her on his bike, sliding his helmet on her head softly with a grin. It may be obvious to everyone by now that he's taking a liking to her, even if he didn't notice it himself. When Kyungsoo wins you again, Baekhyun makes a sound of protest.
"That'll be two nights in a row!" He argues, crossing his arms unsatisfied. You stifle the giggle you want to make and bite your lip in worry, not wanting them to fight about it. "It's not fair."
"Did you want to drive me back?" You ask him with a lift of your brow, and he turns to you with rapt attention. "You're getting to hyped about it, sounds like you’re the one who's trying to hit on me." Yixing laughs at your dig and Baekhyun flushes, before grinning at you in response and pinching your cheeks.
"What a silly girl, thinking you can beat me at teasing?" He asks you, puckering his lips. "Did you want me to hit on you? Because I can do that just as easily as I can blink." You squeal, pushing him back and running around the guys for protection as he chased you with a vicious laugh.
Rightfully, Kyungsoo gets the privilege of riding back with you and the other guys split up at your street's intersection, saying they'll meet up that the usual place when Chanyeol follows close behind you. They depart first, climbing off and walking to your porch just as Kyungsoo slows to a stop. He helps you climb from the motorcycle and when you're on your feet, he smiles at you.
"I'm glad that your family wasn't too upset with you about us." He says, before widening his eyes. "I mean, not us, us, but like, us, the gang, you know?" He stammers, making you giggle.
"Yeah, I understand." You tell him, and he relaxes. "I'm happy, too. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it ended up being really awesome." There's a short silence, before you see him start leaning in to peck your cheek in goodbye again, this time a safe distance away from any fathers who decided to ruin the moment. But, before he could, you quickly swoop in and kiss his cheek instead, making him blink in surprise. "Gotcha!" You chuckle at his shock, before he presses his lips together awkwardly.
"I... I think you make my heart beat too fast sometimes." He confesses, and you aren't sure how to react to that, staring at him with a half smile from your previous laughter.
"Yah, hurry up over there _____, Soo!" Chanyeol calls, Yuri standing akimbo beside him. "Yuri said your dad will come out if you don't come in." Hurriedly disregarding the strange situation that just happened between you and Kyungsoo, you bid him farewell and run up the steps of your house before hugging Chanyeol goodbye, too. Once you both are in and you hear the boys drive down the street, you give Yuri a suspicious look, which she returns with an innocent smile.
"Chanyeol likes you." You state.
"I can tell." She says, still smiling.
"You like him too, right?" You ask.
"Yeah, but I'm gonna wait until he says something." She admits. "What about you?"
"What about me?" You gasp.
"Don't you like one of them? Any of them?" She inquires, wanting the juicy details.
"What! No, I don't!" You exclaim, blushing madly. "A-At least, I don't think I do."
"Oh, how could you not know?" Yuri begs, wanting something to tease you about. "Doesn't your heart beat a little faster around any of them? I noticed you were a little clingy with that Chinese guy today, sorry, I haven't learned all their names yet. Is it him?" You shake your head furiously, hot from your blood rushing up so fast.
"No! I mean, my heart beats faster at any social interaction I have. It's not often I'm out with people who enjoy being around me." You say. You see her look sad for a moment, and you remember that she had told you it was her fault in the past for your seclusion. But, she quickly changes her expression before you can say anything and continues, poking your chest.
"It's different, _____. But if you can't tell, then at least figure out which one of them likes you. Because I still stand by what I said, excluding Chanyeol this time." She says.
"That they all like me..?" You mumble, still bashful at the idea.
Oh, what would you do if they all had a crush on you? There's literally no redeeming qualities about yourself that you can see besides the fact that you're physically strong. But they seemed more amused and impressed than attracted to your unsual brute strength. But.. Kyungsoo's word did feel a little suspicious to you. Is that something you just say out of the blue? Randomly? To a friend? You sure wouldn't, you'd only say it someone you had feelings for... but in that case...
Gah, should you really even be as touchy with them as you are? You wouldn't want to give off the wrong idea, they aren't females, after all. Maybe the cheek kissing was a little overboard, you realize, but they started it. You thought it was a platonic gesture, not a romantic one! Maybe they're just being flirty, they themselves admitted they were flirtatious naturally. It was only to be expected that they'd play around a little, if not a lot.
It was all too much for you to stress about, and you finalized that if it came up, then you'd deal with it then. You were sure of yourself when you came to this conclusion, feeling proud for coming up with some sort of solution, and headed off to your bedroom and mess around on your phone until you got tired enough to pass out. What you didn't understand was that putting something as important as this could be off was just another way of running away.
(The End... or The Beginning?)

Member/Pairing: Baekhyun / Kyungsoo Genre/Type: Explicit, Smut, One Shot Warnings: Explicit terms, unprotected sex, explicit sex Word count: 4,515
Summary: Rings, it had to be rings. Baekhyun is frustrated, bothered... he is completely turned on. He knew the concept for their comeback would have Kyungsoo in some very good looking outfits, leather included, but he didn't know it would effect him this much.
“He’s wearing rings.” Baekhyun grumbled from his chair, he stopped himself from kicking his feet like a child, barely.
Minseok didn’t look up from his phone, “Tends to happen.”
“No Minseok it does not.”
Minseok looked up following Baekhyun’s eye line, “It looks good, why are you mad?”
Baekhyun rolled his head back with a groan, “I’m not mad, I’m …” Baekhyun tried to think of the proper words he needed, turned on was all he could come up with. Not something he needed to say aloud to Minseok. “Bothered.”
“Yes well good luck with that.’ Minseok patted him on his back before walking off for his photo session.
Baekhyun ran his hands over his face, trying his best to clear his thoughts. They’ve had a long few days filming their new music video, now on it’s last day they have a few photoshoots left and a couple more scenes to film. Most of the members had already left for the day, leaving just a handful behind. He had already planned himself to be last, asking if it was alright to stay behind after it was all done and enjoy the quiet desert by himself for a few hours. It took a lot of pouting and whining but he was granted a few hours before they would have a car show up to bring him home. He needed a little time to himself, the dorms have been so loud the past few weeks preparing for their comeback. Every hour of their days had been filled with practise, recording or something for the group. A few hours alone sounded like a mini vacation that Baekhyun couldn’t wait to have.
“You alright?” A deep voice roused Baekhyun from his thoughts, eyes snapping open to see Kyungsoo standing beside him, his large eyes watching him curiously.
Baekhyun dropped his hands, throwing a large smile on his face as he gave a quick once over of Kyungsoo. His eyes lingered on Kyungsoo’s hands that he currently had in front of him playing with the rings on his fingers absentmindedly . It took all he had not to reach out and touch Kyungsoo’s tanned fingers, feel the cold metal with his warm skin. “Yeah, just a lot on my mind.”
Kyungsoo nodded slowly, bringing one of his hands up to run through his ever growing black hair. “I know the feeling, kinda happy there are only so many of us left here now, not as loud.”
“Chanyeol has that effect.” Baekhyun smiled, feeling a shiver go down his back as he heard Kyungsoo laugh, a smile taking up his face.
Kyungsoo took a deep breath, “That he does.”
“You look good.” Baekhyun felt his mouth go dry, he didn’t mean to say it aloud, he was merely thinking it. He turned his head away quickly towards where Minseok was taking photos. “I mean, this is a good look for you.” Baekhyun stilled as he felt Kyungsoo touch near his collar. He turned his head slowly back, looking down to see ring clad fingers graze over the spikes on his shirt.
“I could say the same for you.” Kyungsoo took a small step closer, eyes focused on the spikes. “Be careful with these, they’re sharper than they look.”
Baekhyun brought his eyes up to Kyungsoo’s face, he could make out the subtle eye makeup they had done. He could still see the small freckle that was hidden in his bottom eyelashes. His eyes instantly moved around his face, mapping the other freckles he always loved staring at. “You’ll just have to keep an eye on me to make sure I don’t hurt myself then.”
Kyungsoo smiled, dropping his hand down, “I never really let you out of my sights anyway.” He leaned closer, keeping his eyes locked with Baekhyun’s. “So that can be easily arranged.”
*
Baekhyun really did try to focus, to pay attention to the camera that was pointed at him, and not to the person that was playing with his lip watching him. He lost count of how many times he felt his cock twitch from that glare, he was glad the jeans he had on were loose enough to hide that he was half hard. How the fuck could he be so affected by nothing but a look. Baekhyun shook his head, he ran his hands through his hair before digging his fingers into the roots and pulling just enough to sting. He slowly brought his eyes back up to Kyungsoo. He wanted to make him feel as much as Baekhyun was right now, to be as affected as him. He bit down on his lip, bringing a hand down slowly through his hair, over his neck. His other hand took hold of the collar of his shirt, feeling the sharp pain of the spikes on his palm. He pulled his shirt down slightly, baring the bone of his collar, smirking up at Kyungsoo. Baekhyun almost yelled out in victory as he watched Kyungsoo ball his fists, he even heard when he cleared his throat. Good, Baekhyun thought as he let go of his shirt and ran his hand down his chest before hooking his thumb on the waistband of his jeans.
They had done a dance like this a few times, lingering looks, small touches, unsaid words, invading personal space. There were a few times he wanted to take action, to cross that line, to give in but he always talked himself down. It was mindless flirting, it was pent up energy, it was nothing. There was one night that they had kissed, breaking apart after a few heated minutes blaming the few beers they had and went their separate ways. Baekhyun would let his mind go through possibilities though, especially after knowing how good it was to kiss Kyungsoo, laying in bed and unable to sleep only think. He would let himself wonder what it would feel like to touch Kyungsoo, to have Kyungsoo touch him. Those nights ended the same way, gripping his cock and letting his mind fill in his fantasies, screaming Kyungsoo’s name in his head when he came.
“We are about to lose the light, lets pack it up.” One of the managers announced to the small amount of staff and crew that was still there. “Baekhyun you have 2 hours before the car comes.”
Baekhyun looked away from Kyungsoo to nod at his manager. The staff started to clear away some of the equipment, most would wait to be put away tomorrow just in case they had to do any reshoots. He stayed leaning against the motorcycle, watching everyone move around, eager to head home after a long day. He handed a few pieces of his outfit to the staff, the leather bag that was strapped to his hip, the jean jacket and extra sleeve. At some point he lost track of Kyungsoo; one of the managers probably ushered him into one of the waiting cars. It only took about 20 minutes before everyone had cleared out, leaving him blissfully alone. Baekhyun admired how the sun had painted the desert red as it started its final hours in the sky.
“Hope you don’t mind.”
Baekhyun jumped at the sound of a deep voice behind him, hand clutching his shirt over his heart he turned around to see Kyungsoo standing with a smirk behind him. “Fuck, you scared me.”
Kyungsoo laughed bringing his hands up in surrender, “Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” He took a few steps around the bike, stopping a couple inches away from Baekhyun. “I asked if I could stay behind after I heard you got to. I hope you don’t mind.” Baekhyun watched Kyungsoo reach out, fingers ghosting over the spikes on his shirt. “Did you hurt yourself?” Nodding towards Baekhyun’s fist, eyes staying on Baekhyun’s.
Baekhyun shook his head, he knew if he tried to talk his voice would give him away, Kyungsoo’s dark eyes and deep voice was making him slowly come undone. He brought his hand out, showing his palm to Kyungsoo. A warm hand wrapped around his wrist, pulling it closer to Kyungsoo’s face. Baekhyun held his breath as he watched Kyungsoo’s fingers touch the small red dots that still lined his hand. There was something in the way Kyungsoo looked at the marks that made Baekhyun’s stomach drop and flush go to his cheeks. He shifted his stance a little, his cock was starting to fill.
“I told you to be careful.”  Kyungsoo said looking up from his hand, his voice slightly deeper now, just on the edge of gravely..
Baekhyun cleared his throat shifting to take his hand back, watching Kyungsoo let him go with a slow smile. “I barely feel it.” He watched something pass over Kyungsoo’s face and quickly looked down at his hand, Kyungsoo’s tan fingers were still holding his wrist. Kyungsoo had let his grip go but kept his fingers there, feather light touches moving over his wrist. “I feel that though.” Baekhyun whispered looking up from under his lashes at Kyungsoo, bringing his tongue out to wet his lips before biting it.
Baekhyun tasted like strawberries. Kyungsoo wasn’t sure if it was from the gloss they had used at some point in the shoot or it was just how Baekhyun tasted. He couldn’t stop himself from moving into Baekhyun’s space, his hand taking hold of Baekyun’s neck and pulling him to his lips.
The fading red circles on his hand had a stirring effect on Kyungsoo. He didn’t want Baekyun to be hurt but he did want to leave marks, proof of what he was feeling scattered over Baekhyun’s body. That was the only thing his mind would think of when he saw the marks on his palm. What made it worse was knowing Baekhyun did it because of Kyungsoo… for Kyungsoo. He groaned into Baekhyun’s mouth when he felt hands run through his hair and tangle into the roots, the hold stinging.
Baekhyun gasped, mouth opening even more as Kyungsoo’s tongue explored it. Kyungsoo pressed his body against him, rubbing their hardening cocks together as he pushed Baekhyun into the bike behind him. Baekhyun rutted against Kyungsoo once he was stable enough against the bike, moaning when Kyungsoo rubbed against him just as hard. It was almost torture for Baekhyun in the last few hours of the work day, turned on and half hard all because of the man currently pushing against his body sinfully.
Baekhyun licked into Kyungsoo’s mouth with a deep moan before biting down on his lip, sucking it into his mouth. He brought his hands to the lapels of Kyungsoo’s jacket, tugging it off his broad shoulders, not caring when it fell to the desert floor. Kyungsoo’s strong hands took hold of his hips, raising him off the ground for a brief moment before being put down on the bikes leather seat. Baekhyun opened his legs eagerly, pulling Kyungsoo in, fitting perfectly between his thighs. Baekhyun’s hands gripped Kyungsoo’s ass, bringing him as close as he could possibly get. He smiled when he heard Kyungsoo moan when their cocks touched. Biting his lip Baekhyun took hold of the hem of his own shirt and pulled it over his head, tossing it by Kyungsoo’s jacket. He let his hands fall to Kyungsoo’s shoulders, his stomach spasmed slightly when he felt Kyungsoo’s fingers roam over his exposed skin as well.
“Beautiful.” Kyungsoo whispered before leaning in and placing an open mouth kiss over Baekhyun’s collarbone. “I want you... I’ve wanted you.” he said against his skin, moving his lips slowly down Baekhyun’s chest before pulling a pink bud into his mouth. He smiled when Baekhyun arched against him, his pretty fingers digging into Kyungsoo’s shoulders. “I want to taste you, can I taste you Baekhyun?” Kyungsoo’s lips continued to kiss their way down his chest, nails scraping down his slight abs before kissing the marks.
Baekhyun had a moment to think before he felt soft fingers undoing his pants and felt the hot desert air on his cock before a wet warmth engulfed him. Looking down he saw black eyes looking up at him, lips wide around his cock, hands holding tight to his thighs. “Fuck...Kyungsoo.” Baekhyun’s hands flew to Kyungsoo’s hair, burying deep to the roots and holding on like his life depended on it as Kyungsoo started bobbing. The small wet sounds of Kyungoo’s hollowed cheeks and perfectly timed sucking filled his ears and caused his cheeks to flush.
Baekhyun couldn’t take the eye contact any longer, not with how dark Kyungsoo’s knowing eyes had gotten. Instead he closed his eyes, letting his head roll back, moaning deep in his chest. He thought kissing Kyungsoo was one of the best feelings he had ever experienced, that was nothing compared to how it felt to have his mouth on his cock like this. It took all he had not to ram his hips forward, to want to fuck his mouth. Baekhyun wanted to see how much he could fit into Kyungsoo’s mouth, how deep into his throat.
Kyungsoo breathed deeply through his nose as he relaxed his jaw even more, taking Baekhyun all the way into his mouth. His eyes almost rolling back at the weight in his mouth. Kyungsoo could see Baekhyun was wanting to lose control, the constant pulling of his hair was indicator enough his control was starting to lack. He brought Baekhyun even deeper into his mouth, the tip playing at the back of his throat. Kyungsoo moaned when the tip popped into his throat, making Baekhyun jolt at the sensation.
Kyungsoo moved over Baekhyun’s cock a few times, trying to swallow once more before his body needed air. He pushed his tongue hard against the large vein on the underside of his cock as he slid Baekhyun out of his mouth. With a small kitten lick at the tip of Baekhyun’s cock, Kyungsoo pulled him back into his mouth. He started a slow bobbing of his head, a hand moving to take hold of the lower half of his dick, creating a delicious pace..
Baekhyun couldn’t take it, the duel sensation of how Kyungoo sucked him and jerked him off. He bucked his hips, feeling his dick hit the back of Kyungsoo’s throat suddenly. “Soo I’m sorr-.” He broke off with a moan as he felt Kyungsoo’s throat close around his tip and vibration of the moan Kyungsoo just made run through him. Kyungsoo’s tongue moved languidly around his cock, taking a deep pull as he swallowed again. Baekhyun could come right now, he had been so pent up the past few days with how good Kyungsoo had looked, all he would have to do was let go. Even jacking off last night hadn't fully sated him. His hands pulled at Kyungsoo’s hair, effectively pulling him off his dick. “I don’t want to come yet.” His hand cupped Kyungsoo’s cheek, gently massaging his jaw.
“Trailer. Now.” Kyungsoo said, voice gravelly. He hurriedly put Baekhyun’s dick back in his pants, unable to close them properly now, thanks to his excellent blow job. He took hold of Baekhyun’s hand,  and almost jogged them to the trailer he shared with a few of the other members.
There wasn’t much in the trailer, four makeup stations, a couch and a small cot that Jongin begged to have for quick naps. He mentally thanked the managers for getting one brought in. He was on Baekhyun the second the door closed, the few minutes it took to get there was too long to Kyungsoo and his very very neglected cock.
He wanted nothing more than to kiss Baekhyun, nip at his lips, lick his way around till he knew every part of his mouth. Kyungsoo continued to kiss his pretty lips as he guided them to the cot, hands holding his ribs letting his thumbs play with his nipples, earning purrs from Baekhyun. He let Baekhyun pull his shirt over his head, only then breaking their kiss. He watched Baekhyun’s eyes roam over him, fingers reaching out to touch the tanned skin of his chest and stomach. Kyungsoo loved how red and swollen Baekhyun’s lips looked now, Baekhyun looked sinful and Kyungsoo had made it happen. He leaned in and kissed Baekhyun’s neck before turning around and going to one of the makeup stations.
Baekhyun was about to protest till he saw what Kyungsoo left him to grab, a small bottle of lube was clutched in his hand. “You carry that around with you everywhere?” He asked smiling as he watched Kyungsoo blush and walk back over to him. Baekhyun wrapped his arms around Kyungsoo’s neck, pulling their bodies flush together.
“Be happy I have this.” Was all Kyungsoo said before licking his way back into Baekhyun’s mouth. Without breaking the kiss, Kyungsoo pulled Baekhyun down to the cot, laying himself over him, arms caging his head. Sitting back on his knees Kyungsoo started to pull at Baekhyun’s undone pants, in moments he had them thrown to the floor and Baekhyun’s cock springing free.
It took Kyungsoo only a second to stand up and rid himself of his own pants before he was back on top of Baekhyun. Their mouths crashing together in a bruising kiss, hands trying to touch every part of each other's bodies. Baekhyun arched up into Kyungsoo’s chest when his finger pinched his hardening nipples.
“So responsive.” Kyungsoo breathed over Baekhyun’s lips. “I can’t wait to see how you react when I’m inside you.” He brought his lips slowly down Baekhyun’s neck. “The sounds you’ll make.” He ran his tongue over his collarbone, nipping at random spots. “The way you’ll move under me. Beg for me.”
Baekhyun squirmed under Kyungsoo, he felt an electric jolt run through his body at his words. His hands gripped onto Kyungsoo’s shoulders as he started to kiss, suck and lick his way around his neck. He heard the faint sound of a bottle popping open but it was lost in his heavy breathing. Baekhyun gasped when he felt a cool finger at his rim. He told himself to relax, letting his body settle just as Kyungsoo slowly pushed his finger in. He could feel the cool metal of one of the rings Kyungsoo was still wearing, Baekhyun squeezed his eyes shut at the thought of what it would look like. Before too long Baekhyun whispered, “Soo...m-more.” His eyes rolled back as he felt Kyungsoo put a second finger in, instantly curving his fingers perfectly and just grazing his prostate.
Kyungsoo watched as Baekhyun lost himself as he fucked him with his fingers. There was a sheen of sweat over Baekhyun’s smooth skin, making him look even more enticing. He lost count how many nights he had thought about this very thing, the way Baekhyun would feel or taste or sound. His wildest dreams could barely hold a candle to what was in front of him this moment. The sweet sounds of Baekhyun’s small moans, the aching high pitch when he would hit over the bundle of nerves. The way his body shakes when he bites down on Baekhyun’s hip bones. Even the taste of his sweat was beyond perfect as he ran his tongue up the inside of his thigh as he added a third finger.
He didn’t need anything else, this was enough to make him come tonight and many nights in the future. Kyungsoo stopped sucking a mark into Baekhyun’s thigh when he heard him whisper his name. To say he was captivated by Baekhyun’s eyes didn’t give it full justice when he looked up, he was lost in the dark orbs that stared down at him in moments.
Baekhyun ran his hands up Kyungsoo’s neck, taking his hair into his hands, tugging slightly when he felt Kyungsoo’s tongue lapped over where his fingers were. “I’m ready.” He moaned, rolling his hips down onto Kyungsoo’s fingers when he felt his tongue poke in beside them. “Let me.” Baekhyun licked his lips, eyes never leaving Kyungsoo’s. “Let me ride you.”
Kyungsoo let Baekhyun turn their bodies, climbing over his lap, straddling him and bringing his ass right over his cock. Baekhyun leaned down, running his tongue over Kyungsoo’s lips as he rubbed his dick between his ass cheeks. “Tease.” Kyungsoo breathed out before biting his lip when Baekhyun repeated the motion.
Baekhyun smiled leaning away from Kyungsoo, he had already found the bottle of lube, and was now pumping some of it onto Kyungsoo’s cock positioning himself right over it till he felt the tip rub over his hole. He slowly started taking Kyungsoo in, feeling himself stretch even more, both moaning out once he was fully seated. Baekhyun’s eyes fluttered shut as he tried to relax from the stretch, taking deep calming breaths, getting lost in Kyungsoo’s hands roaming around his body..
Kyungsoo’s hands found Baekhyun’s hips, fingers digging in as he tried to stay still for him, letting Baekhyun adjust to his size. “Kiss me.” He whispered as he watched Baekhyun open his eyes slowly, feeling Baekhyun’s slim fingers run up his chest before moving to his neck as he leaned down. Kyungsoo brought his hands up Baekhyun’s back, pulling him down flush to his chest, breathing in Baekhyun’s scent.
Baekhyun attacked his lips, tongue licking against Kyungsoo’s tongue the second they met. He was already dizzy from the feeling of Kyungsoo buried deep inside of him, now his breath was being taken away. Breaking the kiss he braced his hands on Kyungsoo’s chest, sitting back up and raising his hips, Baekhyun let his hips fall back down. There was a slight sting from the sudden drop but it was nothing compared to the pleasure that ran up his spine. He repeated the motion, bringing the tip of Kyungsoo’s cock out before bringing himself back down hard.
Kyungsoo would meet him every other thrust with his own, making Baekhyun dig his nails into his chest at the impact. He was sure there would be half moon bruises tomorrow, he couldn’t wait to see them on him. “More...please Soo more.” He ground his hips down, doing figure 8’s with his hips, feeling the friction of Kyungsoo’s skin hot against his own.
“What do you want more of?” Kyungsoo brought one hand up Baekhyun’s stomach, fingers moving over a swollen nipple. He watched Baekhyun's body shake at the touch, “Tell me.”
Baekhyun whined around the lip he was biting, lifting his hips up once again to drop down onto Kyungsoo. “I need more...harder...faster. Fuck Kyungsoo anything. Just more.”
Kyungsoo took hold of Baekhyun’s hips, turning their bodies around, pulling out in the process making Baekhyun moan at the loss. He ran his hands down Baekhyun’s thighs, leaning in to kiss the inside of his knee. Kyungsoo lined himself up, one hand pushing Baekhyun’s thigh back towards his chest as he pushed in. Baekhyun keened, back arching as he brought his free leg around Kyungsoo’s waist. The angle let Kyungsoo plunge deeper into Baekhyun, both cursing as Kyungsoo began a brutal pace. Soon the sound of wet skin filled the space, breathy moans falling from open mouths.
Baekhyun brought his hips up as much as he could with each deep thrust Kyungsoo continued to give him. He gasped out Kyungsoo’s name as he felt him rock over his prostate, a jolt of electricity filling his stomach. He let his body relax, giving himself over to whatever Kyungsoo wanted to do to him.
“You feel so good Baek.” Kyungsoo rocked his hips quickly into Baekhyun. He let go of Baekhyun’s thigh, letting him wrap it around his waist, locking his ankles on his back. Kyungsoo kissed his way around Baekhyun’s neck, nipping at the corner of his jaw before he brought his lips to Baekhyun’s. The kiss was tender compared to how hard he was thrusting into Baekhyun. His hands moved up Baekhyun’s arms, twining their fingers together as he started to slow his movements. The slow swirling of their tongues matching the deep gentle grind Kyungsoo has started. He ground hard into Baekhyun, never pulling out, pushing in as deep as he could get, brushing over his prostate everytime.
Baekhyun called out Kyungsoo’s name as he pulled out completely and slammed back in. The slap of their skin loud in his ears. Kyungsoo was close, he could feel the heavy heat in his stomach growing. It didn’t help that Baekhyun was fucking himself up onto each of Kyungsoo’s thrusts, clenching down on his dick every time he bottomed out. Baekhyun leaned up, and pressed his lips against Kyungsoo’s, dropping his jaw to deepen the kiss. Baekhyun bit down on his lower lip, almost purring when he felt Kyungsoo come inside him with a deep moan.
Baekhyun clinched down as hard as he could on Kyungsoo’s cock, warmth filling every part of him. He let go of Kyungsoo’s lip before licking his way back into his mouth, capturing moan after moan as Kyungsoo continued to slowly fuck into him. He let Kyungsoo break away from the hold of his thighs, watching as he scooted further down the bed. Baekhyun was about to ask what he was doing when his voice caught in his throat as Kyungsoo took him into his mouth.
He barely had a moment to register what was happening around his dick when he felt two fingers push past his rim. Kyungsoo dove right for his prostate, fingers massaging over the sensitive bundle of nerves over and over. Baekhyun bucked his hips up making Kyungsoo gag for a moment before swallowing down hard. The fingers flicked inside him once again, and Baekhyun was coming down Kyungsoo’s throat almost screaming Kyungsoo’s name.
Kyungsoo let Baekhyun fill his mouth, thrusting his fingers in while flicking his wrist, feeling Baekhyun fall apart in his hands. With a pop Kyungsoo let Baekhyun’s cock fall from his mouth, his fingers slowing down their dance inside of him. He stilled his fingers when he heard a broken moan escape Baekhyun’s lips and body shudder from over-sensitivity. Kyungsoo crawled back up Baekhyun’s body, stopping to kiss a mark into his chest before claiming his lips again. He let Baekhyun wrap his arms around his shoulders, turning his head to deepen the kiss.
If he had a problem tasting himself in Kyungsoo’s mouth, Baekhyun didn’t let on, not from the way his tongue lapped around his tongue. Kyungsoo couldn’t help laughing a few minutes later when he felt Baekhyun started to rub his half hard cock against his thigh. “Seriously?”
“We have another hour before someone is here to take us back. And I’ve wanted to fuck you for so long.” Baekhyun brought a hand down between them, pretty fingers circling Kyungsoo’s cock. He could feel his cock twitch in his hand as he started to lazily stroke him. “So yes Kyungsoo, I plan to have you fuck me again in the next few minutes outside as the sun sets. That or I fuck you.”
Kyungsoo found himself nodding before leaning down to kiss Baekhyun again.

MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM:
Lee Hyunwoo, my smol son.
NAME/STAGENAME:
Han Kiseok and he doesn’t have a stage name unless you want to count the p l e t h o r a of things that idols, managers, facility members and higher ups call him while him while he’s running their errands, in the which case we have:
“Bambi”
“Kiki’s Delivery Service
“You clumsy, incompetent fool”
“Idiot Chicken Boy”
“Kibum”
“EXO’s Minseok” ( does anyone actually know his name? )
“Why did we hire you anyways?”
aaaaand my personal favorite:
“YA!!!!!! YOU!!!!!! WHERE IS MY COFFEE HUH??!!!죽을래 !!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!”  !!!!!(╬ಠ益ಠ) !!!!!
BIRTHDATE/AGE:
Nineteen years old. July 8th. Cancer.
COMPANY/POSITION:
Intern for Crystal Entertainment.
HEIGHT/WEIGHT:
N/A. Baby boy is not relevant enough for dis, smh.
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR:
I’m not even sure if this is relevant, but if it means anything, Kiseok’s probably been with the company for a few months or something? Half a year?
INTERESTING FACTS:
//cracks knuckles (none of this is even important, but i thought it would be fun?)
He is the admin of several KPOP fan blogs on tumblr.
I’m pretty sure he broke his leg singing into some shampoo and trying to replicate Sweetheart’s choreo in the shower. RIP.
Kiseok’s very allergic to cats, but he saw this cat on the street and fed it and it wouldn’t stop following him, so he took it in. Her name is Pepero and he’s always sneezing and dying because of her but he can’t get rid of her because he’s soft.
He does not know how to drive and bikes to work everyday.
He lives with this super ornery old woman who runs a dress shop. He ran into her shop when he was fifteen trying to hide from these bullying punks who were trying to beat him up, but once he ran in there a few more times and she realized his home was so broken one could hardly call it a home at all, she took him in. She says she only likes him because he does her taxes, but she adores him … her mahjong buddies tell him everything.
Super bi, but honestly can only stutter his way through half a sentence before the words collapse on his tongue and he gets too flustered so, really, what’s it matter?
It’s really funny if you get him drunk because he’s super shy, but he’s also a lightweight and a really wild drunk. Don’t do it. ( Do it and videotape it. )
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
STRENGTHS:
He has a really high IQ. His mind pretty much works like a racehorse even though his mouth stutters almost every word he’s ever said. Kiseok has maintained remarkable grades throughout the entirety of his academic career and has been called Google/Jeopardy because he is full of intellectual but useless information.
He is a notoriously quick learner because of this high intellect? Picked up a lot of the choreo for the trainees and the idol groups while he looks on and knows pretty much everyone’s names and stats???
I don’t even know if this counts, but he’s really, really kind? Like he genuinely cares a lot about everyone and is always willing to help people. He’s really sweet and lovely even though he is 100% nervous and awkward all the time. Basically he will go very far out of his way to help people.
REALLY GOOD DANCER!!!!! Singing is quite pleasant too, to tell you the truth, but really he is a very gifted dancer, like, if you saw him you’d be pretty impressed. Dancing is the only thing that makes him feel better and he’s looked up to idol groups like the ones in CE all his life and longs to be apart of them very clandestinely…but alas.
WEAKNESSES:
Kiseok has chronic social anxiety that developed from how poorly treated he’s been basically his whole life. It leaves him, at times, breathless and stupid, but he tries his best?
Very, very shy as a result and prone to panic attacks. :(. He has a hard time talking to people and nervously rambles and stumbles his way through conversations. I can’t even imagine someone trying to hit on him, he’d die.
Having that little faith in his abilities and being that freaked out of the times means that he had to throw away his lifelong dream of being an idol because he can’t dance or sing in front of people and so he joined CE as an intern just to be close to thing he loves. :(((((
HUGE PUSHOVER. He’s scared of disappointing people or them being sad so he’ll do anything you ask him to. It’s also his job as an intern to accommodate people, but he does have to do a lot of not so cool and strenuous stuff behind the scenes that you won’t hear him complain once about even if it’s killing him a little.
BIO/PERSONALITY:
THE FIRST LESSON YOU EVER LEARNED WAS TO HATE YOURSELF.
You were born too early, but for your mother it was too l a t e. The smell of death hung limply in the air: whodunnit? Fate in the hospital with a premature baby and case of internal bleeding gone awry. She looked like the crime scene but played the victim, leaving you as the murder weapon.
Surprise: Y o u dunnit.
Like the jaws of life, two hands bravely descended into the carnage and like Moses parted the vast, impossible sea of red, plucking you out and polishing your soiled body like silverware ( as if somehow cleansing your body would in turn, cleanse your s o u l . ) When they were finished, they put you in a blanket and her in a body bag.
CRAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
You were too young to properly recall the the itty bitty gritty details…
…But no matter:  while you might not remember,  ( your father never forgot. )
THE ALCOHOL MADE THE PAIN BETTER, BUT HIS TEMPER WORSE.
You spent your childhood in f e a r, towered over, dominated, quivering, shivering, dodging acid words, punches, bottles…but you weren’t fast, you weren’t reactive, you wheezed and sneezed, broken before he could even lay a finger on you. And from your miserable existence in that ramshackle house, there was only one escape —
 …
YOU CALLED THEMSELVES I D O L S BECAUSE THEY WERE YOURS.
From this unforgiving reality, you only escape were these big stars that graced your tiny screen each day and you watched them like religion, You admired the way that they carried themselves; heads held high, moves exquisite, perfect, confident words always poised on their lips and after years of feeling like a lost puzzle piece, you finally found somewhere to b e l o n g. When you danced, everything was okay. Music soothed you like medicine and created a feeling that made you feel, for once, i n v i n c i b l e. Just like that you were hooked, just like that you knew
….You always knew someday you were going to be a [ k p o p s t a r ],
( “You think that Crystal Entertainment would hire someone like you? You're nothing, Dancer Boy. You're worthless. You're a l o s e r! And the CE doesn't hire losers.” )
BUT FIRST YOU WOULD BE A  [ L A U G H I N G S T O C K ]
You soon found that school was no better than home. The kids in your class were viciously cruel and the bullying they administered left your heart and outsides black and blue. Up and down the uneven streets, they chased your cottontail as you ran huffing and puffing and crying and clutching your collapsing chest like a lifeline. They were right in a way. Rock beat scissors but anxiety beat e v e r y t h i n g. You were too nervous, too timid and could barely utter a few generous sentences before they collapsed on your tongue like forgotten civilizations.
BUT WHERE YOUR LIPS WERE WEAK YOUR MIND WAS STRONG
You were always good in school — great, even. You skipped grades and your dad never cared, other people’s father’s handing you prestigious awards on stage. Your mind worked overtime and retained information like a sponge, arranging it in intricate and complex formations that dropped jaws and astounded people. They called you “nerd,”, “dork”, “geek”, “f r e a k” but now they would have to call you Han Kiseok, Staff Member of Crystal Entertainment.
YOU WISHED YOU COULD SEE THOSE BOYS HORRIBLE FACES NOW.
It wasn’t ideal. You still looked at the CE entertainers with shiny, glossy, fanatical eyes, worshipping them like gods, but you were happy — blessed to just be their Ariel and a part of their world. So while they went out on stage, singing and dancing, you helped make everything work behind the scenes, oversized lanyard, talking too fast, tripping over your words, fetching pastries and turning out paperwork like t r i c k s
— because in this world there are two kinds of people:
Important People™
and people who get those Important People™ C O F F E E.

»»————- ————-««
Knocking on the door was what started to rouse you. You tried to ignore it, figuring it was probably nothing important, but then you felt shifting beside you to get up. You heard Sehun’s soft groan, his body protesting the movement, so you opened your eyes and put a hand on his chest.
“I got it,” you mumbled sleepily as you sat up and stood up on the bed.
“You sure?” he asked, squinting at you from the sunlight coming into the room.
You just hummed in response, easily stepping over him and onto the floor. You wobbled a little bit, but Sehun grabbed onto your forearm in case you fell over -- thankfully, you didn’t. So you walked to the door as you yawned and stretched your arms above your head.
“Yah, Sehun! _____!” Jongdae’s voice called from outside the door.
“Maybe they’re still asleep,” you could hear Baekhyun say as you walked down the hall to the door. “Wake up!”
You opened the door, glaring at the three men -- plus Miju in Jongdae’s arms -- that stood before you.
“Hey!” Chanyeol grinned, Sehun’s keys to his motorcycle spinning around on his finger before he tossed them to you. “I brought the bike back. How’s Sehunie?”
“Sore,” you replied plainly. “Why’re all of you here?”
“Okay, uh...” Chanyeol began slowly, scrunching up his face as he looked away from you. “Don’t get angry, but um...--”
“Miju spilled the beans,” Baekhyun stated plainly with a shrug. “Kid heard everything about your little plan with Kyungsoo.”
You let out a groan, “Ah, Miju...”
The little girl was playing with her dad’s hair while she grinned at you, “I told daddy and uncle Baekhyun for you!”
“Except you weren’t supposed to...” you muttered under your breath. But how could you really be mad at a little girl? So you sighed and stepped out of the doorway. “I guess you guys should come in.”
“Daddy,” Miju spoke up as her curious brown eyes looked around the entryway, “is this where _____ lives?”
“Mm,” Jongdae nodded as he led the way into the house, “and uncle Sehun.”
"Did uncle Hyukie live here too?” she wondered, her voice dropping to a whisper that was still a bit loud.
“Yes, pumpkin,” Jongdae told her, patting her back. “But don’t talk about Saehyukie right now, okay?”
Miju frowned but nodded, resting her head on Jongdae’s shoulder as her arms wrapped around his neck. She understood that Saehyuk had died -- Jongdae had to explain what that meant, and it upset you seeing Miju cry at the funeral because of it -- but you knew she still had questions about it since she was only a little kid. She was quite fond of Saehyuk, too, since he would sometimes babysit her. You knew Saehyuk quite liked her as well.
“So...” Baekhyun began as he seemed to glance around the living room like Sehun would magically jump out of nowhere, “where is our little Sehunie anyway?”
“His room,” you replied, jerking your head toward the hall. “You saw how he looked last night. He’s really--”
“Hey,” Sehun’s voice interrupted you as he walked down the hall with a slight limp. “Isn’t it too early for you guys to be here?”
“Shouldn’t you be in bed?” you shot back, your hands on your hips.
Sehun just waved your question away as he made his way to the couch and sat down, only for Miju to squeal and kick her legs until she was put on the floor so she could run right over to Sehun. She climbed up onto his lap as he let out a soft grunt from her pressing on some bruises and scrapes that were very recent, but he still smiled at the small girl as she hugged his neck.
“Why do you look like that?” she asked, pulling back and finally studying his bruised face.
Sehun cocked his head to one side, though he knew what she was talking about, “Like what?”
“Ugly.”
You snorted, turning to hide your grin. The other three men, however, did not care if Sehun knew they were laughing at him. They burst into a chorus of loud laughs and wheezes, Baekhyun even doubling over as he clutched his stomach, trying to breathe. But Sehun was laughing along as well while Miju smiled and looked around, wondering why everyone was laughing.
“Hyung, what kind of manners are you teaching her?” Sehun asked jokingly.
“Can’t say she’s wrong,” Chanyeol said with a shrug, still giggling. “You do look pretty bad. Why didn’t you put band-aids on those?”
You suddenly remembered the task you promised to do last night, glancing over at Sehun apologetically.
He saw it, but shook his head as a way to tell you not to worry about it.
“They stopped bleeding after I showered, so I went to bed,” he shrugged. “Anyway, what’re you here for?”
“Our little squad is now six strong,” Chanyeol grinned proudly.
Sehun’s eyes moved between Jongdae and Baekhyun like he didn’t actually believe what Chanyeol was saying. But you also didn’t know why the two men would agree to help you. Baekhyun usually only liked doing things that he knew would benefit him, and Jongdae usually tried to stay out of extra trouble because he had a daughter to take care of. So why did they decide to help you -- especially after hearing about it from Miju in the first place?
“Are you serious?” Sehun asked, an eyebrow raised.
Jongdae nodded, sitting down beside Sehun so he could be near Miju, “Yeah, actually.”
“Baekhyun’s doing something nice for somebody without expecting something in return?” you asked with mock surprise.
Baekhyun looked at you, scrunching up his nose, “Ha ha.”
“Why’d you decide to help?” Sehun wondered, ignoring Miju as she took little Hello Kitty band-aids from her small backpack and placing them on Sehun’s face wherever she thought he needed them -- sometimes not even on an actual cut or bruise.
“We can’t just do something nice for our friends?” Baekhyun pouted.
Jongdae rolled his eyes, “It’s because Miju cried.”
Chanyeol explained what happened: how Miju overheard the conversation about Kris, and how she asked her father with tear-filled eyes who Kris was and why he hurt Saehyuk. Jongdae had picked her up and explained that some people just liked to do bad things, but there wasn’t anything anybody could do. And that was when Miju had said that Chanyeol, Sehun, Kyungsoo, and you were planning on finding the person who did it.
“He hurt uncle Hyukie!” she had sobbed, gripping Jongdae’s shirt while she sobbed. “It’s not fair, daddy!”
You frowned as you listened to the story, your eyes drifting to where Miju was distracted from tending Sehun’s wounds. Instead, she was looking around the living room before she paused and stared at something. Your eyes followed hers, but she was just staring down the short hallway to the kitchen.
“_____,” hearing your name being called broke you out of what you were doing. Sehun was looking over at you, eyebrows raised, “you haven’t talked to Lay-hyung yet, have you?”
You shook your head, “No, sorry. i haven’t really been hanging out at the garage, anyway. I’ve been babysitting Hansol and Somin for Minseok, remember?”
“So, we still have nothing to work with,” Chanyeol nodded.
“I’ll go talk to him in a few days, alright?” you promised. “Let’s wait until Sehun’s better.”
“I made him better!” Miju nodded, flashing you a toothy smile as she patted his face that was covered in Hello Kitty.
“Yes, you did,” Sehun told her, patting her head before lifting her off of his lap and putting her on Jongdae’s.
Jongdae kissed his daughter’s head as she made herself comfortable on his lap, pulling a toy out of her little backpack to play with. She handed her father a doll and a tiny hairbrush, telling him more than asking him to brush all the knots she’d put in the doll’s hair. Jongdae just chuckled and nodded his head.
“What do we say, Juju?” he asked.
“Pleeeease,” she sang, batting her eyes at him.
“Y’know,” Baekhyun began as he eyed Jongdae, “I used to want to be a dad. Watching Chen makes me realize I do not want that at all.”
Jongdae just flipped him off when he knew Miju wasn’t looking.
-
The text said he was at Jongdae’s, so that’s where you went. You were pretty sure the three men that lived there were out doing ‘business’ so you weren’t really surprised that Saehyuk was going to be there to watch Miju, but you weren’t too sure why he didn’t just take the kid to his place where he could study and babysit at the same time.
You knocked on the door, waiting until Saehyuk came to answer it with Miju on his hip and a lot of bows clipped onto his hair.
“Well,” you smirked, trying to hold back laughter as you looked your boyfriend up and down. Then you noticed the tiara and had to bite your lip to not snort at him, “aren’t you a pretty princess.”
“Of course I am,” he scoffed.
“_____!” Miju cheered, leaning away from Saehyuk to cling to you instead.
Saehyuk leaned with her so the little girl could wrap her arms around you neck, so he used the closeness to capture your lips in a sweet kiss. Miju obviously saw this and quickly shoved away from you to get Saehyuk to step back before she started hitting at his chest with her tiny palms.
“Icky!” she frowned. “Don’t do that!”
Saehyuk laughed, “What? You mean this?”
He stepped forward, wrapping his free arm around your waist and pulling you to him before he started peppering your face with small, quick kisses. You could hear him making ‘muah’ sounds between your quiet giggles. Miju was whining and trying to tell Saehyuk how gross kisses were, but he kept at it, smiling himself.
Once Saehyuk was done making Miju all pouty, you went inside and helped him babysit the little girl. She was relatively easy to handle since Jongdae was incredibly responsible with her, but she did get extra hyper for the first half an hour after you showed up. But putting her to bed later was a breeze since she’d gotten out all of her energy quickly.
“God,” Saehyuk breathed as he plopped down on the couch after putting Miju to bed, “she’s a handful, isn’t she? Can’t believe the little rugrat took my glasses and hid them for an hour.”
“I can,” you laughed, looking up at him from where you were already sunken into the cushions.
Saehyuk looked down at you, seeming to study you for a moment without saying anything. The TV was playing softly, being the only noise in the room.
“Can I admit something?” he asked softly.
You nodded, “Of course.”
Saehyuk grabbed your hand in his, and the gesture worried you that this was going to be something serious. But the look on his face was soft and showed hints of joy, so you weren’t really sure.
“When you showed up, and I was kissing you in the doorway,” he began, still looking down at you with traces of a smile, “I had one of those ‘wow, I love you’ kinda moments, but it was like...”
While Saehyuk quietly hummed as he tried to think of how to explain how he felt, you were already reddening in your cheeks at what he said. He always told you about his moments of realization when he remembered just how much he absolutely loved you -- and he had a lot of those -- but they made you flustered every time.
“It hit me how I want those moments with you, you know what I mean?” he asked, actually looking to see if you understood.
Slowly, you shook your head, “Don’t we have those moments all the time?”
He chuckled, suddenly wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into his side, “Ah, for such a clever girl, you’re a little oblivious sometimes.”
“Fine,” you pouted, “then spell it out for me, Mr.College Kid.”
“While holding Miju and kissing you like that, it just made me think about how badly I want that with you in the future. You know, our own little daughter that we have together who will help me greet you when you come home and squeal when I kiss you.”
Finally, you got the hint he was trying to give -- though it wasn’t really a hint now. You looked up at him, your eyes wide. You’d never thought of yourself to be a mother at any point in the future, but only because you couldn’t picture it. You’d only been told how irresponsible and out of control you were, so you thought you’d completely ruin a child.
“You really think I could be a mom someday?” you asked quietly, almost like you were afraid to speak the words.
Saehyuk’s smile only widened as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head, giving your shoulders a squeeze, “Absolutely, baby. I’ve seen you with Miju, and it’s the sweetest thing. So, if you ever do want a family, I would be honored and more than happy to have one with you.”
For the first time, you actually considered that as an option for your future. With Saehyuk, your future looked bright, which was something you’d never thought before him.
