The Sham | Lost Memories Ch■

Arin finally figured out the sense of familiarity towards the man, memories flashed from when he first caught a glimpse of him. to when he'd carefully place a flower in front of his portrait with a heart full of hope that their heroes would some day return.

“■■■ ■■■■■■ ■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■■■■.”

Arin almost missed what he said in the midst of shock, with his eyes growing wide, and hands trembled as they gripped his arm bruisingly. His eyes narrow and twitch, and a smile curls his lips upwards almost sadistically, baring his fangs as he speaks.

"I WILL FIND YOU.”

This wasn't the hero that he remembered.

The most fucking annoying thing about all the "conflict of interest" gate is it's going to be F1 Academy and Susie that suffer as a result of it.

They're not going to lobby for Toto to move on and dissociate from Mercedes, they'll want Susie fired, so F1 Academy will lose the person spearheading it, despite her clearly being the best qualified person for the role right now. Just as the series is finally going to get an opportunity to take off, it will lose its rudder and get derailed before its begun.

And even if they DON'T find anything of note, it's Susie's reputation that will end up being tarnished, because its always women that bear the brunt of these things, despite F1 and 'conflict of interest' going hand in hand since records began.

And all this for a tabloid magazine article by someone who not only is banned from the paddock, but has been on the receiving end of numerous libel cases from people inside the paddock.

The FIA are trying to appear like they're being 'fair and thorough and authoritative' but they're not, they're just legitimising the accusations when it's not really their issue to investigate. It's shameful politicking and it's yet another example of the FIAs internalised misogyny. Where was their investigation into the allegations about Mohammed Ben Sulayem? Or is it only when it suits them?

Hai hai!(´｡^ ᵕ ^｡`)/ Thanks for asking @ishusi! The Sham is ofc my Ninjago AU that first takes place in Skybound, where Nadakhan places a curse on Jay which brings C!Nadakhan into existence and making Jay’s life a constant hell. Which is kind of the main concept, and as well as also keeping some headcanons of mine and characteristics into Jay’s character like one of my headcanons is that Lightning elemental masters are part avian and keeping his snake attributes when he was turned into a serpentine and making them more fused into his powers and his body. Which explains in Part 2 of my comic, Jay’s claws/talons, and as well as the name of the au if you guys can figure it out.

The main idea for the story is where Jay's time in misfortunes keep is prolonged and he continues to persist despite how long he's been beaten down and kept there, because of Jay persistence, Nadakhan decides to place a curse on Jay, not through magical means but through gouging out Jay's eye, and after a couple weeks Nadakhan replaces Jay's eye with a cursed one.

A curse where brings C!Nadakhan into existence (the C ofc means Curse because I didn't wanna change its name but still want a distinction between the two Nadakhans.) C!Nadakhan was made to ruin Jay and his perception of things, the longer Jay has the eye the more C!Nadakhan begins to materialize to the point Jay could feel C!Nadakhan, and since the curse was made because of Jay’s persistence, Nadakhan made sure to grant that wish by making sure C!Nadakhan never lets Jay die by any means necessary, from using provocations or even being nice to Jay.(it's unbelievable ik.) But it's not being nice based purely on how it was made, because the curse is actually sentient and has a level of self-awareness. And that it's self-aware enough that if Jay dies, it also dies. And the more the curse stays, the more C!Nadakhan begins to gain the fear of non-existence or Jay’s persistence, while also gaining the potential to become more than just a curse. Or even becoming an extension of Jay's existence, like an invisible limb that has a mind of its own. But if it finds an opportunity to become part of Jay's soul or become an actual individual being then it will take it.

The drawing I posted of C!Nadakhan and suit Jay would probably the be the present time in the AU, while the comic I've been working on is more of when Jay first got or experiences the curse and I might rename it as “The Sham | Origins”

Anywho this AU is ofc for my own self-indulgence for my headcanons to have their own place and gain a purpose and story rather than just staying as pretty illustrations in my mind and on my canvas. Also thanks :3 really glad you guys like my art and I've always try to improve and refine my art as an artist and will continue to improve ^^

Little Kid Lincoln kicks a soccer ball and accidentally adds a Divine Smite to the kick that nearly incinerates the goal post Marco set up for his 10th birthday. Grant takes that moment to explain spell slots to him while Marco frantically puts out the fire behind them.

Nick and Cassandra get called to come pick Little Kid Taylor up from school no less than 3 times in a single week because Taylor learned thaumaturgy and keeps opening and closing all the windows and doors in the classroom while calling out anime catchphrases.

Pre-teen Normal discovers Mascots and Marching Bands and is immediately obsessed to the point of worship and nearly gives Sparrow a heart attack when he tries doing an advance form cheer, breaks his ankle, casts cure wounds on himself, and proceeds to keep practicing the cheer.

Assuming Scary got access to Daddy Magic when Terry entered her life, she discovers true strike and using it on Terry proceeds to tell him "you played yourself Terry Jr. Now I know all your weakenesses, so you better watch out" and leaves the room without another word. Terry immediately calls Sparrow to ask if this is normal teenage girl behavior.

Hi! I really adore your art. I think you’re super talented 👉👈 how did you develop your style? I’d love to improve my own art, so I’m curious to learn more

It's been like, my whole life doing it almost lol, so I'm not sure if it's a thing you can summarize...?

But basically, I think I just started out like, looking at art I liked and studying it and trying to incorporate it? Like, this looks good to me but it it's stylized, so why does it appeal to me, what is it that makes it look so good? And then you try to do your own version of it.

Learning realistic proportions and colours and whatnot is a part of it too, like, even if you do stylized anime shadow dot noses it helps when you know why and how its supposed to look.

I honestly don't know. I've just kind of been always taking note of the stuff I like forever, I consume media that inspires it and I experiment a lot. If I like something, I study it, and then incorporate it, in my own way; I'm not an original at all.

Its not sth you can guideline, you just do it. But you can I guess question yourself like:

Why does something look good?

What is it that makes it look convincing but stylized?

What are they trying to convey through style?

How does it look in real life as opposed to the style?

What do I like to draw most?

If I dont like drawing something that's important, how can I imply it anyway?

how can I make it fun?

This seems like a quiz, but like, it can be so fun! You can really dig into yourself when you examine what it is that you like visually, why it works etc. Art should not be a chore but a relief or a fulfillment or expression or something! Do what makes you feel good and makes sense, TONS of artists I admire have no realistic anatomy or colours but its beautiful, and it's so THEM.

Go with it, enjoy it, art is anything that you make of it. You wanna get a style, collect your resources and Get A Style! Just kinda go with it! Itll be there or it'll find you.
