i think spearmaster and srs’ relationship is a lot more interesting than people usually make it in fan material… srs was apparently originally ‘repulsed’ (quite literally the word used) by spearmaster, but by the time it’s campaign rolls around, has become so attached they actively worry for it to nsh, being unable to imagine what would happen if it were seriously harmed… test tube baby emotions

given that yesterday i had a fantastically fucked up nightmare and then, for some reason, read a bunch of horror-adjacent fiction before bed, i cannot even begin to describe how relieved i am that last night i merely had a variant on my usual too-many-cats-i-can't-care-for-in-the-house stress dream

Fuuuck I'm like 99% sure the cat food that got put in the wrong package locker and I couldn't access it for over a week spoiled from being left in the heat. Hope always had a bad throw up problem but it's like immediately after she eats it she'll throw it all right up and can't hold any of it down ... it's so expensive and my vet's office doesn't have any on hand I can pick up i have to wait on an order for it ...

After work I'm gonna go pick up some more of her favorite but bad-for-her food so she has something not spoiled she can eat for now until I wait for it to get shipped out again -__-

i love isat and i LOVE loop. but when they first appeared i knew they would be annoying at times so i instantly felt obliged to be annoying to them also. and when they said 'ooh i got a 4th hand sign to teach u stardust' i brought up my middle finger on instinct in the hopes it would be that (and also they gave me troll vibes)

I am so confused.  My mother in law just accused me of purposefully taking my son in a walk in his stroller to put him to sleep.

Like yes, why not?  I mean it’s not bad to purposefully take babies for walks on nice days to get them down for a nap last I checked.  He was wearing his hat, I had the sun screen lowered, and we were just walking to the far shrine in the neighborhood, a walk he has taken frequently while strapped to my chest might I add.  And the weather is lovely, sunny, a cool breeze, and not too hot.

Apparently, according to her, it’s a lazy way to get a baby down for a nap.

Zero shits given, he fell asleep after 2 km of walking, I’m happy.  This routine will probably continue for a long while.  He’ll be one before the weather gets too cold for walks like this, and by then he won’t need them to get to sleep hopefully.

Although if he has my issues with insomnia, it may be twenty years before he figures out how to get himself to sleep without issue.  I have sleep headphones, if he has issues as a teenager I’ll give them to him along with podcast recommendations.
