Eddie doesn't feel like either of you are ready for kids so he doesn't have a very strong reaction to the news. He's always used protection anyway, even when both of you dirty talk about pregnancy. But he is glad you told him, because on some level he felt like he too should have told you sooner and now you finally had this talk. Billy Lenz: I feel like he'd be really excited and think it's the neatest thing ever. I think he's still childlike, especially when it comes to you doing shit with your mind. I think he'd worry when your nose bled, because he's probably had a few himself due to less-than-pleasant reasons, so he would gently clean it away while murmuring. "Sh sh sh, Billy will clean piggy's nose. Billy will be very gentle." He would not appreciate the effect your powers can have on telephones, because he really likes that thing lolz. First time you do it, particularly if he didn't know, he's gonna be kinda scared and pretty excited and babbling on quite a bit (I fucking LOVE how everyone writes how it talks, it scratches my brain grooves really good). Billy and Stu (poly): oh boy, I think we allllll know how these 2 are gonna be. . . Both will tease you endlessly. Stu will beg you to do tricks and will randomly imitate you (really badly, using like fishing poles to make things float). Billy will just tease you anyways, no matter what, and he'll try to keep Stu in line so you don't overdo it. They both get a little freaked when you get the nosebleeds, Billy will be cleaning you up and be like "you should be more careful, huh Professor X?" Stu is gonna be less chill and more freaked and feel kinda bad, particularly the first time you get a nosebleed. If you pass out? Ohhhh boy, you will wake up to them standing over you yelling at each other. Stu is like wailing and so so scared and Billy is like "get your ass together damn it, go get the first aid kit I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY NEED JUST LISTEN TO ME DUMBASS-" Just pure freaked out mother hens. Would feel like they're in a horror movie when they find out, not quite scared, but maybe startled.

Pyramid Head: No reaction from Geometry man, none. Would probably think you're another punisher lol. I mean he's used to weird shit, and blood, and passing out. He's a little startled when he sees it all at first, but I think he would be more comfortable after finding out, I think he'd feel more like he can relate to you. Is also more relieved because he sees you aren't entirely helpless in Silent Hill. He doesn't freak out if you bleed/pass out, just drags you out of the way if you're unconscious. May need to be asked if you need help cleaning up the blood, he's just so used to having blood all over himself and seeing blood all over everyone/thing else. I just don't think he is familiar with anything from outside of Silent Hill, people (and geese) included.

Otis Driftwood: another one that is terrified. He's gonna go through every reaction that the Hewitt's went through lol. He's terrified, he think's Satan is finally after him, he's just a mess. Might point a shotgun at you until you explain you're A) not going to hurt him and 2) not Satan. More tough love, he's like "oh a nose bleed? That's it? you're fiiine." Would freak if you passed out, but he would never let you know that (Baby would fill you in and laugh a bit with you). Will ask you to help with victims, but is understanding if you don't want to use your powers or are uncomfortable with the Firefly Family Business. After the first time you pass out, he'll be soft when y'all are going to sleep that night. Holds you close and whispers in your ear about how worried he was.

Pinhead: just like Pyramid Head, but I think he's more with it when it comes to knowing that nosebleeds and fainting aren't super good things (he was human at one point, right? I think he sort of remembers but not like entirely). Also feels a little closer to you after he sees you have powers, cause hey so does he, ain't that swell- Would probably also smirk a bit while you bleed. Feels more comfortable having you in his little corner of hell, around his fellow cenobites, like he likes knowing you can hold your own. Feels unpleasant when you pass out, but will make sure you wake up in a soft bed, feeling refreshed and with whatever you need awaiting you. He cares, but is a bit distant and that shows through in how he takes care of you (definitely thinks you can handle your nosebleeds yourself, will not clean you off or baby you unless you lose consciousness).

she comes from the acting industry, having done several small gigs in and around night city and she made a decent living off it but she wanted More out of life. the band started as a garage band kind of deal with billie (their childhood bestie) and nikita (who they met at a tv-show they both starred in) and lalo joined later after getting back in touch with them, and casey joined after that through lalo

rowdy brings amazing energy on stage, hyping the crowd up and taking her time to set the mood for the rest of the night. she often places her mic stand near billie for homoerotic purposes

billie bernhart (she/her, 27 yrs old) is the lead guitarist of the band, but she also plays the cello and violin which they sometimes use as background instruments. she's less of a spotlight person than rowdy but with her bright pink afro hairstyle and best outfits of the entire band (in my honest opinion) it's kinda hard to miss her in a crowd and she gets a LOT more attention than she was initially expecting to get

billie is basically the only one of the whole band who's always been into music. after high school she started doing small gigs as background guitarist for. well. whoever wanted her really LMAO and she made a living like that for a very long time. when rowdy reached out to her again to ask if she wanted to help set up the band obviously she couldn't refuse <3 she's very well-spoken and with that the social backbone of the band because she's the only one who can talk to the public normally without accidentally starting some shit with some random politician

lalo gutierrez (he/him, 24 yrs old) is the bass guitarist and backing vocalist of the band. he can also play the piano and occasionally swaps roles with rowdy as lead vocalist. he's the most reserved and quietest member of the band, yet simultaneously the one with the wildest backstory since he basically got hunted for sports for about 1.5 year because of how vocal he was about evil megacorporations, raising awareness about homelessness, and how the streets of night city were too dangerous for innocent people

like rowdy, lalo comes from the acting industry and actually played in the same tv-show with her and nikita! after that is when life went downhill for him because he tried to use his platform for good, and he lost contact with all his friends because he didn't want to get them in danger. this is when he met casey, a netrunner who helped him hide, and he even was under brief protection of vitali dobrynin after lalo reached out to a fixer for help. he's no longer being hunted nowadays and tries to stay out of mercenary business to keep it that way

nikita maślany (he/him, 24 yrs old) is the drummer of the band. he also has experience with mixing so whenever they make a song that leans more into edm territory he can help casey out with that. he's essentially a musical miracle as he can come up with stuff on the spot and has great intuition, which allows him to perfectly understand what the other band members are going for and he can adjust accordingly to that

niki moved to the nusa around the age of 18 and when he and lalo met, they bonded over both being all alone in a foreign country in a big city that moved way too fast for them. the tv-show they played in together had their characters end up in a romantic relationship; all of that, plus the fact lalo had to move in with niki at some point because he had ended up homeless, caused niki to get a crush on his friend, but they never ended up in a relationship

much like rowdy, nikita is very blunt and not scared of what people think of him. he rarely sings, but when he does, he makes no effort to try and cover up his polish accent which is very sexy of him if you ask me

casey parker (they/any, 26 yrs old) is the latest addition to the band and basically plays all the other instruments. she also takes care of mixing and/or dj-ing for the band's edm songs. they come from the mercenary life and then specifically techie stuff and netrunning gigs; this is also how they met lalo and he decided to try and keep the guy safe, and they stayed friends after that period of time in lalo's life was over

casey is a bit less involved in the band's things and mostly just joins to do her thing and then bounces to focus on her own shit again; though they do consider the others their best friends and whenever rowdy and niki need assistance in a merc gig, casey is more than ready to support them through the net >:^)

So they somewhat remain in what looks a little like a dancing dipping motion, with Fritz's body half held by Omaha as if they were in a movie.

“You’re very handsome.” Blurting out the first thought that comes up to mind is Billy’s usual go-to strategy when he actually doesn’t know how to react. A little like a knee jerk motion but for his brain. Yeah. That’d work perfectly. 

And work it does, because it makes Neil laugh. And when Neil laughs, Billy’s heart skips a beat.

Neil knows he doesn’t quite fit in with the squad.

Not because of them. It’s not their fault, it’s mostly his. He’s too serious, too stiff, too robotic, Halo would joke. It’s hard, trying not to be. As if he’d always stick out like a sore thumb. “Here I am, what do you need me for, Lieutenant?” There’s an ease that comes between the two of them and no one else that Neil can’t place. Nudging Billy’s shoulder with his own and then being nudged back, bringing his cigarette up for a drag and blowing the smoke through his nose. 

“Oh I don’t need you for nothing, just needed you, man. Was missing you inside an’ all.” 

The earnest response makes Neil stare almost in abject disbelief. Maybe because suddenly he’d caught himself with his heart racing. Maybe because Billy’s response made him drop his cigarette without a thought. Or maybe because no one had ever said they just needed him like that. Whatever it was, the other man’s gentle warmth is so strong that it forces Omaha to look away.

He can feel the soft blush creep up his neck and cheeks. “Well, you’ve got me.” The words come easily out of his mouth and he means them. Oh. He means them.

haha um. i guess "action" is a good go-to here, anything that requires like. heavy plot. heists. bombs. fighter planes. deeply out of my wheelhouse lol.

⌛ how long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

haha varies SO wildly based on how much free time i have (i.e. how much free time i am willing/able to snatch from other actual important LIFE things). but for "poppies" specifically i think i started it in december 2021 and wrapped it up in like ... early feb 2022? but i had a lil down time over xmas/between semesters so that probably helped!

🧠 pick a character, and I'll tell you my favorite headcanon for them.

lollll haha ok ok well! truly i hope this is not too disappointing, i am not honestly a huge headcanon person & tend to just sort of go with the flow re: fic writers' characterizations but. okay imma try:

remus - ok i do hc that he drinks earl grey tea. even if it is maybe a little pretentious or faux-posh or something he can't help it it just tastes the best he simply cannot deny that it tastes the best.

peter - hmm this is slightly more serious but i think i sort of hc that peter, like. is very observant, but also lets himself be underestimated. like i've encountered a variety peters from idiotic (for laughs) to freakishly cunning/downright evil (darkfic maybe?) and i really just like a peter who's quietly thoughtful but doesn't necessarily makes his observations known. sets a good sort of stage for first war etc.

OH you know what!! i think it was a fic of YOURS that totaaaaally gave me the hc that peter uses his rat powers to creep around the girls dorms lol. like i just 100% vibe that for him that is absolutely a fact.

🤗 what advice would you give to new fanfic writers that are just getting started?

eee okay i sorta answered that for billie but like. first of all adlkfjs (!!!) let me go hide while my blush fades/my ego deflates <3333. second of all i did not address anything really specific to craft so i guess i will add .... yknow this is crazy or whatever but maybe i would just say to new fanfic writers like .... read some poetry if you can? if you are interested in growing stylistically? even if you don't think you're interested in poetry as a genre or you don't think you "understand" it (doesn't matter no one does right away) i think a little poetry can just ... sort of seep into your brain and crack open "language" for you a lil bit? show you fresh/novel/wild/weird ways that language can function? which might possibly translate into giving you a little more confidence to experiment with metaphor, sound, style, etc? look i may be taking a shot in the dark here but worst case scenario is someone reads a few poems and gets nothing from it i guess?? 😹

So if you complete the befriend route of the quest, the human form of the dragon appears in town and is in love with whoever did the quest, in this case Bellinda. I am of course not about to waste Dragonfu on Bellinda’s basic ass, plus I feel Olivia is kind of a dragon with all the people she’s been burning so they have a lot in common!
