And for almost a hundred years, none have dared until Aziraphale unwittingly stumbles in, on the run from his family.

Crowley isn't your average dragon. He prefers a more civilised life of drinking wine, collecting art and gardening. Also, he decided he would rather have a friend than spend a lonely existence terrorising faerie villages like dragons are supposed to do. Desperate for a companion, he hatches a surprisingly successful plan to get one.

But the relationship blossoming between him and his new friend, the faerie Aziraphale, has attracted unwanted attention. Gabriel, a travelling merchant who seeks the elevated status of a hero, is determined to "rescue" Aziraphale from Crowley's "clutches". And Crowley's clan, tired of his antics, would prefer to evict him from his home in favour of a more compliant dragon.

Crowley's clever little plan to get himself a friend might not be the only scheming going on. Gabriel's interests just might converge with the dragon clan's. That could spell trouble for the dragon and his faerie partner.

The Kingdoms of Empyrion and the Sorcerers of Apollyon have hated each other for hundreds of years, ever since the Great War. They do not interact, other than to occasionally try to kill one another. And they certainly do not make friends.

Crow is an exhausted sorcerer who just wants everyone to leave him the hell alone: for the Sorcerer’s Council to stop harassing him to live up to his potential, and for wannabe Empyrion Heroes to stop attacking his tower to try and kill him. Until one day when he meets Prince Azra of the High Fells, who doesn’t behave anything like he’s supposed to…

Part fairy tale, part fantasy, all love story. There’s magic, and grand romantic gestures, and Heroes and a handsome Prince, and a Villain. There are even some wild heroics, though not necessarily from who you would expect. At its core it’s simply about two (relatively) sane people living in a mad world who find each other.

The smut isn’t until later chapters.

Quite honestly, sending Aziraphale off into the forest to be held hostage by a giant snake in a cursed castle isn’t even the worst thing Gabriel’s ever done to him, and at least it means a change of scene. But then neither the snake nor the castle turn out to be quite what he’s expecting…

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the abilities and powers of SCP-6666, it is currently impossible to contain an instance of them. Should one be successfully contained, contact with [REDACTED] must be made at an immediate notice.

Description: SCP-6666 describes the collective of entities referred to as "Anonymous" on the social media platform known as Tumblr. THey manifest as an icon of a circular cartoon head that's greyed out, wearing black sunglasses with a white gleam.

Originally meant as a way to send questions to an inbox under an anonymous way, everything changed on [DATA EXPUNGED] when one ask used an invocation "M!A", and forced user to "kill off" one of their original characters. This power soon became the primary ability of SCP-6666; if they invoked "M!A" they were granted supernatural abilities known to even manipulate space time.

The danger arrived after notices that actual individuals across realities such as GS011 and Phoenix began having real life impacts based on these incantations. By the time any reality recognized this threat, it had been too late, as the instances had multiplied already.

Currently the only known solution is to disable the anonymous feature on an individual's tumblr. However, Researcher Talmin has suggested that one day the abilities of SCP-6666 might become too strong, and overpower the current safety precautions.

Addendum: Despite the havoc they are capable of, they interact with us far less than other realities. A blessing in disguise, perhaps?

Personality Comparison For No Reason

My personality typing, as stated in my profile description, is ISTJ 5w4. It may actually be INTP 5w4, though I'm not truly sure between the two. Been writing biographies today, and I already have a SW!Verse for Apollyon (For Honor).

Base concept is she was a member of Death Watch, then ended up in the Imperial's grasp after they seized/glassed Mandalore. Ultimately, though, she felt the Imperials weren't doing enough, and ended up betraying them to effectively reform a proper, Death Watch-esque group of her own.

This, of course, is the Blackstone Legion. Wandering Mandalorians who still subscribe to the ideals of Death Watch, but who don't wish to remain in hiding like the Children of the Watch/the Covert.

I even used MandoCreator to create a hypothetical set of armor for her.

I wanted to keep the bulky, intimidating silhouette of her canonical armor, so there's a few site/custom pieces here. As for the orange, it comes from the canonical Blackstone Legion crest:

Which stays the same within her SW!Verse, maybe except for the knight helmet being a more traditional Mandalorian helmet.

Very much would have been close allies with Pre Vizsla. Very much would have been amicable with Darth Maul. Very much still the brutal warlord she is in her canon verse.

Atlas Apollyon would never get her security deposit back. Truthfully, it was hard enough to get the damn apartment in the first place under a name like Atlas Apollyon. Rented, of course. She wasn't an animal. Though as the flames burnt their way through the carpet, she wasn't sure why she couldn't have found a place with a backyard. Her darling nephew, Arlo, gracefully stamped out what he could, leaving behind a smouldering black ring in the beige fibres that would never wash out. Hard to clean what was no longer there. His chest rose and fell with the force of a cross-country runner that had been chased by bears for the last leg, or Atlas herself as she dragged her pathetic limbs up the several flights of stairs after a night out. Needless to say, unnecessarily exaggerated. "I think I messed it up," he said hesitantly. Pushing his round glasses back up his nose, he finally looked back at the woman who paid the bills. "It was a bit ugly anyway though, right?"

She stared at her eldest sister's only child, the son of a woman she barely knew. Some gangly not-quite-teen and not-really-adult, somewhere in the pitiful in-between where he was self-assured and uncertain of everything. Her baby-faced not-a-child nephew. He was not wrong about the carpet. "We can stick a rug on it." She rolled her shoulders with a deafening crunch. "Put Steve's craft projects down or something. It'll be fine." "So you aren't mad?" "I didn't say that." To call Arlo a difficult roommate, would be both an understatement and an exaggeration. A horrible little juxtaposition brought to her door by her deadbeat sister's questionable life choices. One six foot awkward package arrived at her home in need of a place to stay in the dead of night and never found the strength to leave. A constant clutter of heavy tomes and one burnt carpet later, her wick cut short. "Go to bed, Arlo. I'll sort it out."

He did not go right away. Might have been better, easier if he had. If she didn't have to look him in his concerned puppy eyes. Nevertheless, she had to be a good aunt to the strange little man who never learned boundaries. Eventually, after seconds or everlong minutes, he turned on his heel with a sad little sigh and trod down the hallway, one so short it was less a hallway and more an indentation in the wall, leading to the singular bedroom he and Steve shared. Atlas let herself sink into the fake leather of the couch, the brown skin peeling and cracking even more. Head in her hands, finally alone, she let herself go. A deep, wet sigh and chest tight, doubled over with her head in calloused hands. If only it was about the carpet. If it were only about the tenants in the flat below tearing down the door to complain. She feared no landlord, no other. No. No, her fear lay far closer, too close for comfort. Ancient before she could even reach thirty, far younger than the couch she had wrangled into the tiny living space. The walls were smaller now than ever. Greying white darker still by the soft yellow glow of the dying lamp. She's have to replace that too, soon. Another thing to sort out. Joints cracked and popped as she shook, hands finding their way around her throat, tracing the slight discoloration that she was overly aware of despite being unable to see. Yet another thing for the mental pile. Hands folded over hers. Warm, dark hands that were not her own. Finally she opened her eyes, sure that she had never truly closed them. The golden catlike eyes of the final roommate gazed up at her from where they knelt before her. "Lass, are you alright?" asked Jennet softly, words light as smoke. "Did something happen?" Atlas swallowed. "'m fine. Sorry. For, y'know, being a burden again." Jennet smiled, squeezing her hands between their own. "Inconvenience me." "I don't know what I'm supposed to do." "You are aware," said Jennet, slowly as if speaking to a young child, "that you are not the only adult living here, yes? There's at least two, and if this is about that god awful carpet-" "It's not about the carpet-" "The fact is, we'll deal with it. You're not with Skye anymore, we handle things." What Jennet didn't seem to grasp, and likely never would, was that not being with Skye was largely the issue. Atlas' life had been ripped from under her leaving her in the state she was today. Three months was hardly enough to right herself after such a break up. A divorce on short notice with no leading signs that left her only with the other member of their little set up. There was also the issue that Skye paid the rent. "And what am I supposed to do about Arlo?" sighed Atlas, "I swear, I don't believe he's actually my nephew." Jennet snorted. "Give the boy enrichment. As much as I hate the carpet, I don't want him burning the flat down." "I guess I could take him out tomorrow? Guys like that right?" "You're hopeless. Keys are in the bowl, I am going to pass out for the next week." And for once, Atlas didn't doubt it.

Today’s reading of the Scriptures from the New Testament is the 9th chapter of the book of Revelation:

Then the fifth messenger sounded his trumpet. I saw a star that had dropped out of heaven to earth. He received the key that unlocks the shaft leading to the abyss, the pit that falls away to nothingness; and he opened the shaft to the abyss. Huge columns of smoke rose from the depths of the cavern—a black, ugly smoke as if from a great furnace so that the sun was darkened and the air was thickened by the blanket of smoke from the shaft. From the smoke, locusts appeared and swarmed upon the earth. They were given power, like the power of scorpions on the earth. However, they were instructed not to damage any grasses, plants, or trees that grow from the earth. Instead, they were given power for five months to torture, but not to kill, the people without the seal of God upon their foreheads. The torment they inflicted was like the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. During those days, people will seek any way possible to kill themselves, but death will not befriend them. They will long to die and end their miseries, but death will elude them.

The locusts looked like horses clad in armor, ready for battle. They wore golden wreaths on their heads, and their faces appeared human with hair as long as women’s hair, but they had teeth as sharp as lions’ teeth. They had armor that appeared to be iron plated; and when their wings flapped, they sounded like an army of horse-drawn chariots rushing into battle. The first disaster has occurred; there are two more disasters to come.

Then the sixth messenger sounded his trumpet; and I heard a voice from the four corners of the golden altar that is before God, commanding the sixth messenger with the trumpet.

Then the four messengers, who had been held in chains until the hour and the day and the month and the year when they would kill one-third of humanity, were released.

I heard that 200 million soldiers rode in the cavalry. This is how these horses and their riders appeared in my vision: the riders wore breastplates of fiery red, smoky blue, and sulfur yellow. The heads of the horses seemed to be like the heads of lions; they breathed fire and smoke and sulfur from their mouths, killing one-third of humanity with the three plagues coming out of their mouths. The lethal power of these horses was not only in their mouths but also in their tails because their tails, which resembled snakes, had heads that inflicted injury.

The rest of humanity, those not killed by these plagues, did not rethink their course and turn away from the devices of their own making. Despite all these calamities, they continued worshiping demons and idols crafted in gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood. They bowed down to images which cannot see or hear or walk. Daniel: When I received this vision, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three weeks. I had eaten very little, no meat and no rich foods at all. Messenger: Daniel, you are highly regarded by God. I have been sent to help you understand the destiny of your people. Stand up and listen carefully to what I have to tell you.

As he spoke, I slowly rose to my feet, though I was still shaking.

Messenger: Do not be afraid, Daniel. From the very first day that you began to pursue understanding and humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard. I have been sent in response to what you’ve said. I would have been here sooner; however, for the past 21 days the spirit prince of Persia opposed me and prevented my coming to you. Then Michael, one of the chief princes of heaven, came to my aid because I alone was busy dealing with the kings of Persia. I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the last days, for this vision is about a time yet to come.

As he was saying all this to me, I dropped my head and looked at the ground, completely quiet, unable to respond. Then one who looked like the sons of men approached and touched my lips. After that I was able to open my mouth and speak again. I turned to the one standing before me.

Daniel: My lord, what I have seen has left me utterly depressed. I have no strength left. How can I, your humble servant, even begin to address someone like you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly catch my breath.

Again the one who looked like a man reached out and touched me. With that I felt my strength begin to return.

Messenger: Do not be afraid, you who are highly regarded by God. May peace rest on you and make you whole; be strong; be brave.

At his words, I grew even stronger.

Daniel: Please continue, my lord, for your words have given me strength.

Messenger: Do you realize, now, the reason I have come to you? Soon I must return to continue the fight with the spirit prince of Persia. When I do go, the spirit prince of Greece will come to do battle. Nevertheless, I will tell you what is inscribed in the scroll of truth. No one stands with me against the guardians except for Michael, your heavenly prince.

A note from The Voice translation:

Although God has countless heavenly messengers, only two are named in the Bible: Gabriel and Michael. These heavenly messengers fill many functions in the Bible; for example, they are members of God’s divine council, they lead the heavenly army, and they deliver the words of God. In Daniel, Gabriel is a messenger in the most literal sense, bringing a revelation to Daniel through the explanations of a dream and of Scripture. Gabriel’s announcements about the coming Liberator do not end with Daniel. In the New Testament book of Luke, he is the one who announces the impending births of John the Baptist and Jesus to Zechariah and Mary, respectively.

“A Star shall lead from of Jacob...” Amazingly, the pagan seer Balaam – who may have been a forebear of the “magi of the east” (Matt. 2:1-2) – foresaw the coming of Yeshua the Messiah: “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a Star shall lead from Jacob (דָּרַךְ כּוֹכָב מִיַּעֲקב), and a Ruler shall arise from Israel” (Num. 24:17). Balaam’s prophecy described the coming of the Messiah and his reign in two distinct aspects: “A Star from Jacob shall lead the way (i.e., דָּרַךְ),” this refers to Messiah’s first coming as the way of life (John 14:6), “and a scepter (i.e., Ruler) shall ascend (וְקָם שֵׁבֶט) from Israel,” this refers to Messiah’s second coming to establish the kingdom of Zion after the final redemption.

As I mentioned the other day, the very purpose and goal of salvation is for us "to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God" (see Acts 26:18). Hashivenu, Adonai... When the darkness seems to enshroud your way, pray for God's light to be rekindled within your soul. The Star still shines! Happy holidays and love to you, friends.

When God Became Man

“Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands.” (Hebrews 2:7)

We cannot comprehend what it meant for the infinite Creator God to become finite man, even coming “in the likeness of sinful flesh” (Romans 8:3). Nevertheless, we can, and must, believe it, for “every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God” (1 John 4:3).

The Scriptures have given us a glimpse of the “emptying” that His incarnation required—the setting aside of certain outward aspects of His deity. He had been “so much better than the angels” (Hebrews 1:4), but He had to be “made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death” (Hebrews 2:9)—“put to death in the flesh” (1 Peter 3:18).

The eternal Word “was God” (John 1:1), but it was necessary that “the Word was made flesh” (John 1:14). “The world was made by Him” (John 1:10), but “the princes of this world...crucified the Lord of glory” (1 Corinthians 2:8).

He “being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God” (Philippians 2:6). That is, He was not fearful of losing His deity and, therefore, did not have to cling to His divine nature and attributes as He became man. Thus, He “made himself of no reputation” (emptying Himself of the outward form of God) “and took upon him the form of a servant” (Philippians 2:7).

Yet, that was only the beginning. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). He suffered hell for us that we might enjoy heaven with Him.

Because He was willing to be so humiliated, He will one day be crowned with glory and honor. “God also hath highly exalted Him,...that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” (Philippians 2:9, 11). HMM
