god, i fucking miss dice.

we weren’t planned on meeting up today. i needed more ribbon for a project i was working on and got distracted shopping around. i really didn’t want to be out long; i was already behind schedule for my next deadline. for the last few days, i was secluded from the world; phone exclusively for music as i hurried to fix the last few mistakes. needless to say, i was fucking tired. i haven't even had the energy to “casually” pop over to ramuda’s place for no reason; i was "just in the area".

i was used to being alone a lot before we met, so i’m no stranger to isolation. but now that i’ve become accustomed to having him around, it feels so lonely when he’s not. most of the time when we’re meeting up it’s with the intention to fuck, but it’s become more than that… he encourages me wholeheartedly even if he doesn’t always understand my work talk. he’s sweet and thoughtful; always willing to take me out for a fun night of thrills; taking my mind off whatever stupid shit i’m worried about that day. he’s willing to stay in and watch corny movies with me when i’m not feeling up to a night out. meeting him truly was the happiest accident, and i want so badly to tell him.

FP is def. a lot more balanced, because one character is always playing straight man to the other two bozos, but who the bozos are is constantly rotating. Likewise, MTC is more balanced because every single one of them is, at all times, thinking, "Let me, the mature and reasonable adult, humor these children I'm with." But here there's not enough trade-off. I guess BAT works well because Juushi and Hitoya are so bombastic on their own that they basically shove Kuukou out of the way for screen-time, but here he's kind of hogging it. And that's a bit of a shame.

14. Which division makes the best music overall in your opinion?

Ooooh I mean…

Okay. So legally (and to no one’s surprise) I am required to answer FP I genuinely love everything they’ve ever touched. Even the songs I didn’t like at first have grown on me and hold deep sentimental value.

Bc I’m too indecisive I literally went and tallied up the songs I listen to constantly and apparently DH is officially my second preferred group, music-wise? Not super surprising tbh. I love MTR and BAT’s stuff too. If I’m listening a song that isn’t FP it’s probably one of those three groups.

15. How much does the music matter when it comes to you liking a division?

This is kind of a tricky question? Bc the story and music are so interwoven in terms of how they’re presented, it’s kind of hard to tell. It definitely matters to a certain point, bc I initially thought MTR was gonna be my favorite group because I liked their music the best upon first listen during the 1st DRB? And vice versa, I didn’t really pay that much attention to MTC bc I didn’t like their sound as much.

I think the other way around is more easy to gage? I think me liking a division directly influenced how much I like their music, bc now even if I’m not absolutely bananas about an FP song at first, it will inevitably grow on me bc I love Them. Like, admittedly Drops was not my favorite song for a long time?? But then 2nd DRB hit and Ramuda became top tier for me and I was like “I’m listening to it forever now”.

16. Do you like their music more(or less) than the division itself sometimes? Which ones?

I think DH falls in this category rn? I LOVE their music, but I feel like I don’t know enough about the group as a whole to know how attached I am to them yet? Like, I love the characters individually and find them interesting, but I don’t think they’ve had the chance to grow as a group the same way that the other divisions have. BAT is kind of the inverse of this. I love them and I’m deeply attached to them but in general I like their group stuff a lot more than their solo pieces.

BB also definitely falls here. Nostalgic bc their music was my introduction to hypmic and I genuinely like a lot of their stuff? But I’m not super invested in their story as of rn

If Femme Fatale had to battle an actual team from the HypMic anime/manga, who would they battle, why, and what would their battle song be called?

Oooh! That’s an interesting question! And surprisingly difficult for some reason lol given that Femme Fatale is on good terms or at least neutral with the canon teams, it’d be hard to find a reason for them to fight. I think the reason if Femme Fatale had to fight against one of the Divisions would most likely have to do with Chuuoku pulling stuff behind the scenes or something along those lines. Now for the team that they would most likely go up against….it would either be Matenrou or Fling Posse. For Matenrou, it would most likely be due to Sayaka and Jakurai’s history during the TDD era and the fact that both leaders on each team are targeted by Chuuoku (both teams are kinda similar to each other when you think about it too).

For Fling Posse, I would imagine that if Ritsuko isn’t involved then Ramuda would get the order to try and brainwash Sayaka into rejoining Chuuoku. Like with Jakurai, both Sayaka and Ramuda have history as well, Sayaka being one of the few people to know Ramada’s true nature and origin and their time during the TDD era has made them close. Not only that, but there’s also the situation with Dice and Kureha with both of them feeling as though they knew each other before and don’t know when or how, not knowing that the two of them are related. Sayaka obviously wouldn’t want to fight her friends (and I would like to think that both Jakurai or Ramuda would feel some hesitation) however, they all don’t have much of a choice and Sayaka just hopes that they can forgive her after the battle.

As for what their battle songs would be called, I think…

I think my favourite lines this part are the mikoriinu and I won't lend him money easily lines. Saito Soma's performance makes these radios 100x more fun. 1. My first impression of them

I have this funny little habit where, whenever I get into a franchise, I tend to really dislike the character that later becomes my favorite. This was Gentaro for me and I don’t remember why but I think it was “2019 gendice fandom mischaracterized him so badly” 8. Favorite outfit of theirs

This one by FAR which is unfortunate since I can never find its existence in higher quality than this. Absolutely vampiric. But honorable mention to any time he has worn jeans.

DEFINITELY some derivative of “big brother”. Gentaro really reminds me of the younger sibling who follows their older sibling around a lot in childhood, so that’s probably who a lot of his early talking was about or towards. 28. The most unnecessary thing they ever did?
