here's these fuckers that i will FINALLY post <- trying to not remember all those asks i just had

these people are from the Smile Corporation which is a rival team in the mindscape lore (basically being enemies with the mindscape team which is composed by fenantrene and the fallen gods and their workers), also where partytime willow belongs

mr. glee (left) is the founder of the corporation. he's an offputting man with weird views, promoting happiness to everyone - oftentimes by forcing it with substances - so people can work better

dr. welcome (right) is the co-founder, head of security and a really mediocre doctor of the corporation. the medicines he prescribes often contain these same substances that make a person feel happier and more stimulated, even if he doesn't state that. these substances are forced upon the corporation's workers except for himself

Some stuff from Cloud VI that I found! (An official FF7 spinoff ultimania).

This is where the quote from Morikawa originates. His interview is a lot and somewhat ambiguous. Honestly, it’s hard to follow sometimes because of the translation, but that quote really stands out because he uses it to describe how he plays Sephiroth in an emotionally unique way. A separate, solitary voice that doesn’t betray too much emotion. The feels are there internally, but Sephiroth was brought up in a world where he wasn’t given many chances to express those emotions to others. He is forever solitary.

This is where people tried to draw the conclusion that Sephiroth’s “dormant madness” meant he was always evil at heart. I am asserting now that this phrase is in a lot of these old ultimania books and it’s almost always a reference to the “awakening” that Sephiroth experiences in Nibelheim when he comes into contact with Jenova. It’s something in his blood and cells and likely connects to Reunion. His cells desire to reunite with their Mother, and when Sephiroth draws near to her, they stir to life. It was never about his secret evil. It was biological.

-Humor-roth. Agonizing-roth. These are only glimpses of humanity from an outsider’s perspective, maybe. It’s all blatant humanity to me, but too many people missed that.

-This gets me because….yeah. He had no home on earth that he knew of. It’s like, from his viewpoint, he is cast out from a place that was never his. Always alien to him. The people couldn’t accept him, and he forever hates them all for it. He’ll destroy the place they call home.

“And so does the hero of humanity become a menace to all mankind. Yet thanks to an unexpected struggle from Cloud, Sephiroth is sent tumbling into the mako reactor's depths with Jenova's head in his arms. However, this proves not to be the end of Sephiroth—only his humanity.”

-Only his humanity.

The blue Bit seemed to react to being referred to as part of a set and looked startled to see the other three bits crowd around in concern, then hurried over to an empty picture frame to get a look at its reflection and squeaked in surprise.

"Do you think the Genesis Portal energy fried some of its systems?" asked Silver.

"Zat is a possibility. I vill have to run a diagnos-" the professor started to say before he realized what the Bit was now doing. "HEY! No! Zat vas just cleaned!"

Sonic, Tails, and Silver looked back at the bit to see it had snatched a tube of gold paint off the shelf and was squeezing a glob of the stuff onto a paintbrush. Then, before anyone could stop it, it quickly spread the paint across its face, resulting in the gold now framing its eyes, and three long stripes extending up its forehead to the tip of its quills.

The Bit then looked back up at them all defiantly, as if daring them to say something.

The professor and fox didn't have a clue as to what was going on, but Sonic and Silver were stunned at the sight of the familiar markings.

"Wait-!" Sonic said, his eyes wide.

"SHARD!" gasped Silver in amazement. "Is that you in there?"

The Bit's eyes faded from red to green, and let out a beep that the Professor didn't even need to translate, but did so anyway, "It… He… says ya."

This is art for my fic, Sea Glass in my Lost in the Waves series. In it, Shard the Metal Sonic returns Post Second Genesis Wave in the body of one of Professor Von Schlemmer's Bits. I really like that one.

I finished her new look and new ref at long last. Honestly, considering her spot in the story and all that, she really does evoke both disgust and some awe within me. I hate her but I love her too. In some aspects, Proxy as a character has been with me even longer than "Jien" has. "Jien" is someone I strived to be at that time, so now that I'm finally filling those shoes in, I feel like I did accomplish something. At the very least, I did grow and become more mature lol.

Starting off as a creepypasta OC when I was 12 to now, being the main antagonist of my story, of my persona now, it feels like I'm putting my progress onto paper, some place where I can actually "see" and "feel" it.

I'm proud of that progress.

Now I won't choke you all with this semi-sentimental talk any further, I'm here to present you with the villain that I've been talking about here for over a year at this point. I did forget to add her element/path, but tbh that's something I'm still debating about. She'd definitely be destruction from the playable paths, but I'll explore other options and come to a conclusion at a later date.

The quote above is from Who's Lila, and that game has been giving me brain creativity juice for the design too, as you may notice by the tarot cards that are also present in the game as endings.

Then Sonic arrived at the scene of the attack.

The first thing he saw was the target of the attack, and any good feelings he had from dinner were erased and anger took its place when he saw a bruised Uncle Chuck crouching protectively over his apprentice, Muttski.

Then… he saw who was attacking them…

In all the ways Sonic thought he'd see his father's face again, this was the one out of his very worst nightmares.

"Dad!" Sonic said breathlessly.

The splitting image of Jules loomed above Uncle Chuck on the attack until Sonic arrived on the scene. He turned to face the blue hedgehog, and if his actions weren't proof enough, this was not Sonic's father in control, the long-hated utterance of, "Priority One: Hedgehog!" being spoken in his father's voice made it clear.

I drew a scene from my fic, Sunken Treasure, from the Lost in the Waves series. I'm trying to go back and add art to all of them. Link to the fic is below.
