My mutual Hellaversity sent a similar ask but it's bizarre people will whine how Stolitz is so toxic when I've met only positive shippers minus maybe one or two artists (*cough*Dani*cough*) but on the other hand. The "healthier" Blitzø/Striker ship I've met people who draw rape porn of it, particularly NTR where Striker rapes Blitzø in front of a bound and gagged Stolas. I've seen decapitation art almost similar to when rabid Chaggie haters drew Alastor decapitating Vaggie and feeding her remains to Charlie, or even necro bullshit. I've seen stories where Striker "saves" Blitzø and violently murders Stolas in the goriest of ways.

But sure. We're toxic. Okay.

A lot of people who complain about how toxic the stolitz community are Stella defenders, ironically. Like it's weird how we're toxic, but they're the ones being abuse apologists

I remember finding this one person who had this violent, passionate hatred for stolitz, and I later found out that they were a zoophile... yikes...

They're honestly just as obsessed with them as the shippers. Just... in a different way...

I love some good angst/comfort so I am 100% here for it!

But aside from that, I love how Al’s employees seem to be genuinely happy for him being happy! That’s a sweet little touch.

Oh, they are very happy for him, especially if it means they get an easier work week. XD

There is Lester, the tall one. He is Al's general maintenance guy. He handles a lot of the day to day operations, getting things up and ready to go. Once, he had a silent crush on Lori, but he's since given that up and is currently in a happy, long term relationship. He is also the gossiper of the group, and he seems to hear just about everything.

Clay is the stout one. He is the actual radio tech guy, and he only works with the radio equipment. While Al does add a lot of his own touches, Clay does the more fine tuning things and making sure the sound is smooth and the broadcast is clear. He swears all the time that he's a day away from retirement, but he loves his job and his co-workers too much to ever quit. He's been working with Al the longest of the three, and has known Al in general since Al was a teen.

Lorraine, or Lori for short, is the only girl there currently. She does the books and paperwork, and sometimes writes for the news section of the broadcast. She also acts kinda like an impromptu secretary for Al sometimes, calling people to change appointments whenever Al can't for some reason. She's hoping to use this job as a opportunity to get into her own media show one day. She also had the biggest crush on Vox since forever...until he and Al started hanging out. Now, she's their biggest shipper. XD

Ever since Vox started hanging out with Al, lots of things have changed at the radio station. Sometimes they have crazy celebrity guest stars, sometimes they get shipped bizarre new tech that isn't even on the market yet, and sometimes they get a whoooole bunch of fresh New York bagels delivered for the whole crew. Most peculiar is that Alastor is always in a good mood following a 'fishing' or 'hunting' trip.

They love it! They especially love it whenever Vox is actually present in the studio. Aside from being everyone's celebrity crush, Vox is generally a doll to have around: always nice, professional, and polite. And he's so helpful, both with the equipment and with Al.

There's plenty of stories they could tell.

Once he was around when one of the old systems failed and, rather than everyone panicking because they were going to miss their broadcast, Vox went in a gave it a quick patchwork job for the time.

Another time, Al darn near burned his throat out on some overly hot coffee. And right before a broadcast they couldn't afford to miss either. Rather than having Al choke on some cough drops and pray like they would normally, Vox stepped in for his one and only broadcast on Alastor's radio show. He calmed Al down after the show with some ice cream.

He is a walking chill pill for them. And they're all very happy that their once loner boss now has and I quote from Clay: "The best friend he should've had growing up."

...though, they all kinda know they're something more than 'best friends'. Not that they'd say as much to Al's face XD

I’m glad someone also dislikes hazbin’s twitter community. I have so many issues with the way Vox is written ESPECIALLY by radiosilence/radioapple fans. There is so much fanfics/fan art demonizing Vox for falling in love with Alastor. It’s like cmon now, yes they are emotionally stunted but I don’t think a love confession would be the main downfall of their friendship/partnership, Alastor & Vox are grown ass adults. Falling in love with someone who’s aromantic doesn’t make you a bad person (<- said by me who’s also aromantic)

And UGH, I’ve seen a ton of fics on AO3’s radiostatic tag where Vox is written as this creepy pervert that Alastor needs to be protected from (if I remember correctly, I even saw a radioapple fic under the radiostatic tag with a description of Lucifer threatening to kill Vox)

Maybe I have such an issue with fanon Vox because Vox is my comfort character but DAMN LEAVE MY BOY ALONE

i really cant get behind the idea of vox taking rejection from al horribly and that being what breaks their friendship... and i also especially despise the notion that vox being in love with alastor is what makes al break off the friendship, especially because it hits home to my Own situation :skull: so i completely agree with you there, nonny. the characterization some people give vox because they need a villain really makes me want to tear out my fucking hair

ive seen those too. i know i shouldnt really complain about it considering the fact that voxval shippers have it even worse (seriously, yikes...) but like. really. ive discussed this with mk before but like the hazbin fandom is so unfortunately shit when it comes to their tagging systems it makes me wonder if hazbin is the first ever fandom theyve been a part of where they posted works on ao3. because it really is the only other explanation i can think of as to why there's so much mistagging

and about fanon vox- i feel like the whole phenomenon happening where he gets grossly mischaracterized is partly because a lot of vox fans are actually shippers who need him as the second half of their ship (Coughs. certain staticmoth and radiostatic shippers) and have become so deeply removed from canon material that most of their takes are coming from completely out of left field. thats really the only reason i can logic out for why he's. So Not Him.

Hazbin hotel ship theories

I wrote this while watching a charlie x alastor bad romance not because i ship charlie and alastor but because it has spanish version of lady gaga and I am too lazy to look up the og cover. Anyway lets get on with it!

Charlie x vaggie are canon queens. Im guessing they met recently after vaggie died? Perhaps while charlie was trying to meet nice demons and they just sorta hung out and dated? Anyway they seem really compatible for each other's needs! Vaggie can ground charlie when her dreams perhaps are too unrealistic. While charlie can calm vaggie down when she's getting really angry. I love them, they are really cute together and i do not think they'd break up anytime soon (unless alastor wants to because he pushes vaggie off screen a lot. That qould probably be the only thing to seperate them while alastor is enchanting charlie into this fantastic narrative of her success with the hotel *cough princess and the frog, cough*)

Which brings us to charlie x alastor, boy you shippers were going crazy at the ladder half of the pilot huh? Well i think this relationship would mostly only be angst, side of manipulation and a little flashback bringing alastor some humanity. I think alastor is religious, that's why he strongly beleives everyone that went into hell deserves it and should stay there in suffering. I think that also lends itself to why he acts like a demon in terms of christianity. He manipulates people quite frankly, he sways husk with alcohol or "sin", etc. He's fully embraced his role in reality and that's why he's so powerful. Anyway it would be hard for charlie to reform him if its even possible. I don't ship it but i respect it (though i will never look at anything that has smut, and alastor.

Angel dust x alastor. I think as the characters are in the pilot i dont think they'd go good together. Alastor would shoot down any invitation from angel dust and i think they'd fight like cats and dogs (like the hunicast stream)

Angel dust x husk however i think could work. Husk has a hard shell but i think theres a reason why he's a big cat demon! He just needs to be handled with care. I think it would help angel dust to be in a relationship like that, where he doesn't have to have sex with the person and have emotional intimacy. Though it will take a bit of character development, i think they could work.

This was chaotic, and maybe I'll talk about ships with katie, tom, sir pentious, nifty, and cherri bomb later.
