☆ Ane abriu sua caixinha de capas ☆

Mais ou menos na metade de 2024, a inspiração que eu tinha perdido bateu na minha porta e me intimou a fazer o que eu tanto amo outra vez: escrever e criar capas.

Decidi então mergulhar de cabeça e aqui estou, muito feliz por ter tomado essa decisão, afinal, fazer o que gosto me deixa feliz, e não só isso, me deixa extremamente realizada.

After the call from Amy — the call that had tilted her entire world on its axis again — Dakota had thought about phoning Sam immediately. Her fingers had hovered over his name in her contacts more times than she could count. But no. Some things were too big for a phone call. Some things needed to be said face to face. With her mother’s help, Dakota had booked another private flight, this time heading back to Scotland. The journey felt endless. She hadn’t slept a minute. The exhaustion clung to her skin, weighed heavy under her eyes, but she didn’t care about appearances. There were bigger things at stake. Curled up in the back seat of the car service, she watched the Scottish countryside blur past through the window. Lennox was fast asleep in her car seat beside her, her tiny hands curled into fists. Dakota leaned over, brushing a soft, apologetic hand through her daughter's hair, careful not to wake her. "I’m sorry I put you through this," she whispered, her voice cracking under the weight of everything she hadn’t said aloud. For the entire drive, her mind was a restless sea, what would she say to Sam? How would she even begin? Her heart hammered relentlessly against her ribs, each mile bringing her closer to the answers she wasn’t sure she was ready to face. "We're here, Mrs. Heughan," the driver said gently, pulling her from her spiraling thoughts. Dakota blinked, nodding as she gathered Lennox carefully in her arms. "Thank you, John," she said softly, shifting her daughter’s sleeping form against her shoulder. The familiar stone façade of the castle came into view, and Mrs. MacLeod, their housekeeper, was already waiting at the door, her warm Scottish smile a small balm against Dakota’s frayed nerves. "Welcome home, ma’am," Fiona greeted kindly. "It’s good to be back," Dakota murmured, adjusting Lennox slightly. Fiona gave a small, knowing nod, her voice low as she added, "He’s inside." Dakota nodded again, swallowing the lump that had lodged itself in her throat. She climbed the front steps slowly, every one feeling heavier than the last. She pushed open the door, heart pounding, breath catching, and there he was. Dakota tightened her hold on Lennox, forced herself to find her voice even as it trembled at the edges. "Hi," she said, the word small, fragile — but the first step back home. / @fameheughan

Violet had made her way back to the hospital, as she had multiple times per day for the last week. To be honest, it was getting harder and harder to remain her optimistic self with each passing day Sam stayed sleeping. She hand a new bunch of flowers to replace the dying ones in his face, as she waltzed into his room, humming to herself to keep her spirits up. She didn't even look over at him - seeing him like that was so hard on her sometimes and she'd have to prepare herself before she did it. She dropped the new flowers into the face, pulling the old ones over towards the garbage when she heard a throat clear that didn't come from her. She jumped and whipped her head over towards the bed, seeing Sam's beautiful eyes open. "MASTER!" she shrieked, dropping the old flowers on the floor to cover her mouth, "You're awake!"

ERES EL AMOR DE MI OTRA VIDA

Sé lo que dije, no me retracto. Llamarte <amor> fue una de las cosas que con más seguridad en la vida, pude pronunciar, Sé cómo te pensé mi centro del universo, el sol del cual mi planeta frío no se quería alejar. Sé todo lo que perdí apostando que nosotros éramos la cosa más extraña, más compleja,la envidia de los puzzles por la perfección de nuestras piezas. Tú, yo, un sinónimo, un pasado continuo, la medida perfecta para mi cuerpo dormido sobre el tuyo, la órbita de baile para mis pasos desequilibrados, el punto exacto de mi debilidad en unos ojos de los que gotea miel.

Eras la hoja que no quería arrancar porque eso conllevaba destrozar el libro. El fragmento del poema que no quería borrar por temor a borrarme a mí. Esa vida que me negaba a soltar por temor a que se me desprendieran las piezas.

Y te darás cuenta de que estoy hablando en pretérito imperfecto con el pie afuera del <nosotros>, con las manos vacías, con la vista hacia la ventana, pero ya no más en la casa, pero tranquilo, no te he quitado el título del <amor de mi vida>, nunca he dicho que me equivoqué contigo, no podría llamarle error a quien me hizo un cuadro comparativo en el corazón para el amor y el dolor. Siempre serás mi historia favorita, mi canción predilecta, el latido robado, el beso en espera, el aniversario ausente que festeje en silencio, sonriendo y callando tu nombre... .otra vez, otra vez.

Eres el amor de mi vida, pero ya no de esta.
