Yamanaka Jyutaro (Candy Color Paradox) and Takamatsu Aloha (Tokyo in April Is, Love is Better the Second Time Around) are cast in live action movie of BL manga "Junai Joto!/Pure Love Bring It On!". A yankee manga by Nanao, it's a rom-com between the leaders of two high schools gangs who are rivals, they hate each other but are forced to live together when one of them moves to the apartment above the other's family candy shop.

The script will be written by Kawasaki Ryo, who directed the drama Minato's Coin Laundry 2. Director Yaegashi Fuga was responsible for television version of I Hear The Sunspot (he directed the first batch of episodes, the good ones).

The Democrats House elections arm announced a jaw dropping 35 Republican seats it's targeting in its opening list for the 2026 (expect it to grow, first lists are always the most conservative target list)

Now that Underverse 0.8 Part 1 is finally out, it’s time for me to step back and take a break from the series. It’s a bittersweet decision... seeing the amazing reaction to this episode makes me want to dive right into animating the next parts. But I know if I do, I’ll fall back into the same cycle of emotional burnout I’ve faced over the years. To break that draining routine, I need to stop for a moment. Underverse will be on HIATUS FOR 1 YEAR AND A HALF.

HOWEVER! I’m not disappearing entirely! I’ll still be working on the XTALE 21 YEARS comic, hosting Ask the Xtale Gang events, and occasionally creating short animated content. This break will also give me a chance to focus on my original project, METADORA.

I’d be lying if I say I'm a little worried about people forgetting the series during the hiatus. But I need this break, and I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support and encouragement. Even during tough times, knowing that this project was born from a mix of improvisation and silliness, has brought joy and inspiration to so many people reminds me of my purpose in this world. And I want to keep doing that until the end.

I hope to return with renewed passion and strength to finish this journey that has taught me so much not only as an artist, but as a person as well.

the way langdon’s wedding ring and the bracelet his kid made him is so visible during the confrontation with robby by the lockers makes me feel so crazy like intentional or not i just really love the visual framing of it. you have langdon literally waving his hands around desperately asking robby “could an addict do what i do?” and his gold wedding band is reflecting the light and the colors of the cute little <3 DAD <3 bracelet are such a stark contrast to the sterile white of the hospital and it grounds his character in a way that is so devastating. it’s like yeah buddy. an addict could do every last part of what you do. and you’re living proof. bc you’re an addict and you’re doing it and yes you have a wife and a family and a highly respectable job that you’re very good at and you’re still an addict bc anyone can be an addict and the facade you’ve carefully crafted for the world does not render you immune to addiction
