Chapter: 1 - A Night Bring Out
thus the sun has continued to set from the horizon as four is calmly watching the view afar, the cold breeze blew through his hair sitting outside.
"SMG4?" Mario called his bestfriend, seeing him sitting on a chair admiring the view. Mario snuck behind him, distracted "still having those gay thoughts?" He chuckled, making four bounce from his chair with a light scare from the fat italian.
"N-No I'm not!" He brushed off the dirt from his blue colored suit. Man does he love how his formal attire looked, where he can move freely and relaxed.
"You sureee????" "Yes I am." He looked away from Mario with a light pink faded blush surrounding his face. "Have you uhh found a partner?" SMG4 looked at Mario.
"I'm with bob, he said his girlfriend can't attend" "what about the others?" "Hmmmmmm" Mario did his best to remember the pairings from his team.
"Meggy is in pairs with Tari, Saiko is with Kaizo since they're both hosting a side played oncore songs, Boopkins is- he's with his waifu bed, Chris with Swag, Melony is just- sleeping-" figures. Melony is always too tired whenever she's awake, but for some reason- it feels like he won't be getting in partners with anyone else...
"Andd uhhh for Luigi- luigi is-" SMG4 shot a glance of the familiar green colored signature and ran. "Hey! SMG4?" Mario saw Four rush out of there and got back from the room to talk to luigi.
"Hey! Luigi..." "wah? SMG4? What is it?" "Do you want to be partners with me for prom?" Luigi eye-d to another side and furrowed his eyes giving him a smile. "Oh- uh- sorry SMG4 I'm already left partners with someone..."
"Oh come on! I bet I can still be as good as that partner this is bullsh-t!" SMG4 cursed out loud, hearing something approach to him was a giant... lizard-?
"Ahe- ahem!" SMG4 gulped looking upwards to reveal, it was bowser out of all people. He was tossed by a massive force by bowser across the room, with no one to notice.
"Ow..." his back couldn't move after cracking a wall. "SMG4! Are you okay?!" The voice sounded nothing like Mario, a man reached out a hand to help him get up.
"Yes I'm..." He paused, looking up to see the person. SMG3... his former ex rival... a 'friend'... is there to attend the prom as well.
He stared at his face for a moment, and boy how he felt something inside him flutter and beat. "I'm alright..." He finally gave him a reply, getting back up from the floor acting like nothing happened.
"You got yourself tossed in that room dude- you sure you're alright?" SMG4 felt distracted by looking at his 'friend' from top to bottom.
He had his hair up in a bun, (honestly- when did he missed out the part he had long hair?) His looks are still the same but it came out more handsome than the last time he saw him without a hat on, his dark purple silk suit that the light reflects on the shades, he was wearing a different gloves that has the usual roman numeral but with white color text with black gloves filled.
His magenta necktie, his long black pants, shining clean black shoes that exposed from his view. Since WHEN did SMG3 became this more of a neat character to get so- well dressed...?
Or its just four not knowing how fashion works-
"Yeah I'm hurt a little bit but I'll be fine-" he gave him a nervous chuckle, not wanting three to feel worried of him. SMG3 wanted to speak about this but he didn't find the urge to do so. Now that his soft spot might reveal a bit too much.
"You got invited too huh?" SMG3 nodded. "I uhh- couldn't find a decent partner to pair up with... not even when I enjoy less party talks yet I still come here..." He looked at the other of the members who are currently talking with the other people.
"You haven't- found a pair yet?" SMG4 asked again, he wondered why Three even came here despite knowing that he hates occassional events except for evil villain anniversaries or such as getting paid.
But for just this time, he attended anyway. "No I haven't... thats why I'm asking several of the people here- but they all already found one..." SMG3 hugged his stomach, the felt of discomfort attempting on asking for someone to be his partner and didn't work out too well when you're bad at talking in public.
More as of being socially awkward to people that gave out his anxiety... but to SMG4 however, he felt safe to be around with yet he wasnt even sure why.
His ex rival just felt too safe to be with, he didnt have complains for that. It felt nice...
Because he'd never felt needed by any other people from his life...
SMG4 is unsure at this state he's on with, he struggled and hesitated to put out the words of apologizing. He wasn't used to this type of sensitive talk.
"I also haven't found mine yet-" he started to stare at those red crimson eyes... "do you... want to be partners with me instead?" Out of the ordinary, SMG3's face lit up after hearing SMG4 say that.
Did he just hear this right. Is it actually true that Four is asking him out to be his... his... HIS... he turned red second by second.
"I-I uhh... Yeah sure whatever- just try not to mess things up- you baka..." the blue held out his hand for three to grab on, as four smiled still with three on being a tsundere. It never gets old.
Three accepted, embracing his left hand with four colliding in. With now both fingers interlocked, that was purposely done by SMG4.
"Dude- are you TRYING to make things look even more gayer?" SMG3 looked down at both of the hands then back to the man himself.
"Just- incase..." SMG4 pouted, he couldn't come up with a reason. He did this on purpose and he'd been making it a bit more awkward with this between just him and three.
The chattering went low as the host made his way out of the door and welcomed everyone.
"Welcome to the square plaza everyone! We are so excited to gather you all for our occasional prom! Now go out there and get yourself started!"
He offered to everyone by stepping aside from the open door, being a gentleman to let everyone inside.
"Well... here it goes..." SMG4 walked forward as Three followed a few steps near, little did four know is that Three kept glancing at their interlocked hands together thinking the forms of something special...
Something... something that also made SMG4 feel the same but more tensed...
SMG4 couldn't process much of the things that are currently happening to him right now. Why has this have to go very wrong yet right at the same time? Why did he have to come even tho he didn't want to?
He'd started to overthink with all of his actions that he had made. In regret...
(Why did I even came here... I should've stayed at the castle...) He clinched the hand even tighter, holding Three's.
But it had made him thought, for any other reasons it somehow made him feel glad that he was there.
"Good evening everyone! We are all gathered here for a special event- aka prom." The other host guestured their hand with the obvious sign.
"The dance will begin at 7pm, just to say you can go talk to any other people here or have some snacks while everyone enjoys their stay!" The microphone turns off, entering a soothing audio played in the background.
-A Night To Remember by beabadoobee & Laufey-
The man in purple looked at the sparkling chandelier placed right on top of the ceiling the lights that glimmered through the glass.
Swore I'd seen you before
Within the atmosphere flowing through the colors of pink, red, and purple. Mixtures of blue, the colors fading through the room.
Watched you walk through the door
The beam of light, shining across Four's face with an escape of the light. Reflecting through his blue colored eyes that took notice of the red ones.
Somethin' in your eye
Reminded me of somebody I used to know
Damn... SMG4 looked glorious... he hated that...
Three's eyes happen to gaze upon to Four's with the room surrounded by the soft sounds, they both met each others eyes.
You touched my back
I took your hand
Somethin' from your touch felt shockingly familiar
He didn't know what that feeling was, it just felt right for him to do. If this would only be only focused to him, where would his thoughts go?
And I swore I'd seen you before
Oh, I swore I'd seen you before...
They both felt so lost, but being there together with him?
Underneath the sheets
You enchanted me
And whispered sweet nothings in my ear
It felt romantic...
I shivered beneath you
All wrapped up in embers
It was a night... to remem-
"Is it just me or are you both staring goo goo eyes at each other thats super gay-" The fat italian called them both out ruinimg their silence.
"SHUT UP YOU ASS" SMG3 looked at Mario annoyed, he who had ruined their moment. "We're not gay!" SMG4 cried out loud, with the crowd bringing their attention from his scream. He smiled to fill out the apology trying his best not to disrupt them.
SMG4 turned his head back to Mario and eyed Three. "It seemed like it-" he shrugged his shoulder, drinking an orange juice from the cup.
"Look you idiot- I came here to get over with the party. I'm not saying I'm a party pooper in this, I was only trying to..." he gave a pregnant pause after realizing that he had almost revealed his words to him.
"To- uh- not miss out on the occassions and stuff..." his eyes darted towards Mario after he shot up his eyes with Four.
He checked the time...
6:55 pm
Almost seven o-clock before the dance begins, and just being in there with him... it felt like time passes by too quickly by seconds...
"Oh! I think I should go now- Mario wishes you two gay boys goodluck!" He puts a thumbs up to the both of them and headed to Bob's direction.
The two looked at each other in disbelief, had they both been staring too long? Did the song dragged them away into this...?
How can this be?
SMG4 is unsure, he was too scared about this feeling. Little does he know is that Three also scattered with the same thing as well...

Ranking all 15 Pink Floyd studio albums, from worst to best.
Those that know me well know Pink Floyd is my all time favorite band. I grew up listening to classic rock, thanks to my parents. My childhood band was Van Halen, and my mother pretty much bought me the entire Van Halen collection, both Roth and Hagar eras. I then went through phases when I was around 12 years old, and I began to listen to a lot Metallica more. And at 15, I began to listen a lot of of more of 80s New Wave, particularly A Flock of Seagulls, which most people in my personal life always picked on me for it, asking “How the hell did you go from Metallica to A Flock of Seagulls?” I’ve always heard Pink Floyd songs, but because my parents were huge fans, that meant I wasn’t a huge fan. I grew up that way: whatever your parents don’t like you don’t like.
But of course, you find your identity while growing up, naturally liking art that you actually once hated because of your influence. I didn’t really listened to Pink Floyd until I was around 17ish, liking the songs from the Whale (a radio station based in Binghamton, NY) that played classic rock songs. It was here that I’ve heard songs like “Run Like Hell,” “Mother,” “Time,” “Comfortably Numb,” “Learning to Fly,” and the more obscured, underrated PF track “One Slip.” It wasn’t until I was 18 (I was still in high school) when I got home from school that my mother had bought The Wall for me, a more surprised gift. From then, I was really hooked from Pink Floyd, asking my mother to get me The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Division Bell, all on that order. By that time I got The Division Bell, I knew Pink Floyd was becoming my new favorite band. Though I explored bands like Led Zeppelin and The Church and Rush afterwards, Pink Floyd, to this very day, 11 years later, are still my favorite.
They opened the sub rock genre Progressive Rock for me. I explored bands like Yes, Rush and Genesis, despite I’ve heard their songs on the radio and seen some of their videos on VH1 Classic, but never bothered to dig into their catalogue till a few years later after listening to Pink Floyd.
I’ve listened to all their 15 studio albums, and this list is about the albums that I keep going back to. Please keep in mind this is my personal taste. There is no right or wrong answers to ranking albums. It’s all about opinions and what you like in the end. I know I might piss off other PF fans with my ranking, but, guys, we all have our favorites, don’t we? Every PF fan has their own album rankings, of course. Here is mine.
15. Ummagumma, 1969. Ummagumma is perhaps Pink Floyd’s most experimental album, and one I truly distaste. It’s a double album, with the first disc is a set of live tracks (which, honestly, I barely listen to because of the sound quality) while the second disc is the actual studio album. PF was lost without Syd Barrett, the true original founder of the band. Each band member then produced their own songs without the influence from the other members. What we get is a mess, and some songs are either boring to listen to or just God awful. Most of it is instrumental, but the ones I like are Roger Water’s “Grantchester Meadows” and David Gilmour’s “The Narrow Way, Pt.3,” which happened to be the only two songs on the entire album that have lyrics. Roger’s other track, “Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict” is a bizarre tune that is only done by sound effects by Water’s voice, making chipmunk like noises, and tapping on the microphone at various speeds, with Roger speaking in an exaggerated Scottish burr near the end of the song. The tune is more amusing because it’s rather a funny track to listen to, while Richard Wright’s tracks “Sysyphus (parts 1--4)” and Nick Mason’s “ The Grand Vizier's Garden Party (parts 1--3)” aren’t a joy, just a mess of sounds that I find skipping over and never listen to.
14. A Saucerful of Secrets, 1968. Pink Floyd’s second album, one that introduced David Gilmour after Syd Barrett was beginning to take too much LSD and became very unpredictable. What we get with this second album are lost musicians without a leader, and the sound often jumps around, from forgettable piano driven tracks to the more washed out, space like organ sounds that really isn’t a joy to listen to, to a very bizarre track full of jazz instruments that Syd Barrett sings his only track at the very end of the album. Roger’s track “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun” (this song is the only one that has all five members playing, according to Gilmour) and “Corporal Clegg” are the two standouts for me, with the latter hinting of what’s to come with Roger’s anti war lyrics, and Gilmour’s choppy, wah guitar effects hints of what’s to come.
13. More, 1969. Yes, Pink Floyd’s 1968 and ‘69 albums don’t really do anything for me. More is a soundtrack to the French film of the same title. However, More hints of a more calibrated work of the group, and despite that some tracks are more over the place than others, what we get with More is a much more standard album than a band trying to experiment. Songs like “The Nile Song” and “Ibiza Bar” are two heavy hitting PF songs while “The Crying Song” and “Green is the Colour” are softer ballads. Perhaps the best known track from this album is “Cymbaline.” “More Blues” and “Dramatic Theme” just scratch the surface of Gilmour’s incredible, Blues inspired guitar playing style. The album can do without the seven minute track “Quicksilver,” which is nothing but Rick Wright coming up with eerie organ soundscapes that are rather boring than they are affective.
12. The Final Cut, 1983. The post Wall album, The Final Cut sees Roger Waters in complete control, who has become a very egocentric, over baring bastard that this album was PF’s most difficult album to record. Roger has kicked Rick Wright out, since he felt Rick wasn’t contributing anything to the band. What we get with The Final Cut is the only PF album without Richard Wright, and a mess of an album that is trying to find its identity after the success of The Wall. In fact, most of these tracks were based of cut out tracks from the previous album, with David Gilmour arguing Roger that these songs weren’t any good at the time, why should they be good now. Gilmour himself only sung one track, the epic, hard hitting “Not Now John” that has the most f-bombs in any PF song, though Roger does take over in certain spots here and there. For me, the best songs on this album are “Your Possible Pasts,” “The Final Cut,” “Not Now John,” and the album closer “Two Suns in the Sunset” (this song was difficult for Nick for its odd timing, and Roger brought in a session drummer to fill in the spot) while the other tracks don’t do anything for me. Roger felt this was the last PF album, but I honestly glad it wasn’t.
11. The Endless River, 2014. For twenty years, The Division Bell was truly the last PF studio album. However, David and Nick went through their secret vault of recorded but unleashed tracks from The Division Bell. Their focused was to bring Richard Wright’s playing more in the forefront, wanting their audience to hear how important his sound was for the band. David and Nick rerecorded and modernized some parts on these songs, including David adding more guitar and lyrics to their farewell, goodbye song “Louder Than Words,” which I honestly still feel it’s a very underrated track. 99% of this album is instrumental. Majority of this album makes up from one plus minute tracks, which seem more filler than anything. Nevertheless, another song that shines is “It’s What We Do,” which is the most “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” inspired track PF has done in years, and one that brings Wright’s sound to the forefront as Gilmour and Mason intended.
10. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, 1967. Pink Floyd’s first album, and the one that only has Syd Barrett as a lead singer and without David Gilmour. This album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, where The Beatles was recording Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band next door, which Pink Floyd visited, and the two bands influenced each other. Syd Barrett was a much more character driven lyricist, and his songs were more based of fairy tales, hence the title of the album. The album itself is a bit unbalanced, as the later half becomes a folky, acoustic guitar driven album as the first half was a psychedelic rock trip. Most of the songs here was sung by Barrett, while Wright provides some second lead vocals in certain songs. This album showcases that the band is indeed experimenting, playing walls of sounds, but a bit more focused compared to their three follow ups. My favorite tracks are “Astronomy Domine,” “Lucifer Sam,” “Matlida Mother,” “Pow R. Toc H.,” and “Chapter 24.”
9. Atom Heart Mother, 1970. It is here, in this spot, where it’s difficult for me to rank, as these albums are my personal favorites from the Floyd. However, I feel this album is right for it’s spot, since I find myself drawn to the other top 8 more in the recent years. I still believe this album is underrated and underappreciated. Even the band themselves have stated that they hate this album. Atom Heart Mother’s concept is soundtrack to a film that doesn’t exist. The epic, 23 minute title track sounds exactly like a movie, with full on brass sections and choirs that were composed by Ron Geesin. “If” is a Roger Waters’ ballad with a beautifully haunting slide guitar from Gilmour and slowly becomes a rock driven tune near the end. Richard Wright takes turns to lead in “Summer ‘68,” which is about a one night stand Rick had with a groupie, perhaps haunted by the very act he’s done. The song starts with a piano ballad structure that goes on full horn and funky acoustic chops by Gilmour. Gilmour than leads “Fat Old Sun,” which every instrument was done by Gilmour, including the drums. It’s another acoustic ballad that slowly becomes a rock oriented track, with Gilmour reflecting on summer. The album ends with “Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast,” which the whole concept centers around Pink Floyd’s roadie, Alan Styles, making breakfast. The middle song of this three part based track, in itself calls “Sunny Side Up,” is my personal favorite part of the entire song, with David overdubbing two beautiful acoustic guitars as well as a another haunting slide guitar work. The whole song was inspired by water dripping out of a faucet.
8. Obscured By Clouds, 1972. Another soundtrack for a film, Obscured By Clouds is the often forgotten, underrated album that is stuck between ‘71′s Meddle and the most successful PF album, The Dark Side of the Moon. By Meddle, Pink Floyd has found its sound after the downfall of Syd Barrett. Obscured By Clouds showcases Gilmour’s guitar in the forefront. Both Gilmour and Waters become the two leads for the band, though Rick Wright does offer the wah driven, piano balled, “Stay.” “Burning Bridges” is sung by both Gilmour and Wright, who duet in “Echoes” on their previous album but now take turns for the lead, hinting the song “Time” on DSOFTM. “The Gold It’s in the...” is one of the very few PF tracks that doesn’t have Rick Wright playing, as it is a funk, harder driven track sung by Roger. Gilmour offers “Childhood’s End,” which is loosely based off a 1953 science fiction novel of the same name by Arthur C. Clarke. “Free Four” is a “Spirt in the Sky” inspired track with dark undertones. Part of it is an antiwar song, where Roger sings about the death of his father for the first time, an reoccurring theme that will play out in future albums like The Wall and The Final Cut. “Mudmen” is an instrumental track that is very similar to “Burning Bridges,” but here David provides some haunting guitar riffs and slide effects. The album closes with “Absolutely Curtains,” which Roger provides an incoherent shout as the song slowly builds and fades into one of Wright’s most beautiful organ textured sounds.
7. A Momentary Lapse of Reason, 1987. Some fans will put this as their worst PF album, but it’s honestly one of my absolutely favorites. It was originally going to be David’s third solo album, but with the disappointed sales of his first two, EMI wanted to be a Pink Floyd album. Most of the tracks were pre recorded by the time Gilmour called Mason in. It marks the return of Richard Wright, who Gilmour had to fight for because of the contract that Roger had written he shouldn’t return in the band. Gilmour was also battling Roger Waters, who was fighting to have the name Pink Floyd remove, thinking the band was done for good. Obviously, Roger had lost, and David had the right to use Richard as a “guest” musician and kept the Pink Floyd name. Like I’ve said, most of these songs were already developed. Nick and Richard provide their sounds in rerecordings. David has had admitted he isn’t a lyricist, and though he might not be as good as Waters, he nevertheless provided a couple of radio classics, such as “Learning to Fly” and “On the Turning Away.” “Dogs of War” and “One Slip” are underrated gems, and “Sorrow” became a live favorite for Gilmour’s heavy fuzz guitar riffs in the beginning of the track. While I do agree the overall sound is a bit outdated and heavily influenced by the current 80s music, AMLOR is nevertheless an album, for me at least, that showcases that Gilmour kept the band going full speed ahead.
6. The Division Bell, 1994. Originally titled as “The Big Spliff,” which was thought to be a near full instrumental double album, Gilmour, Mason and Wright find themselves doing old school ways of how they used to do songs back in the early 70s: by working together. Though other musicians did help the Floyd, the three find themselves coming up riffs that they soon realized it was just too good to be just instrumentals. Polly Samson, a novelist who would become David Gilmour’s wife, provides a lot of lyrics for the album. What we get with The Division bell instead is a reflection of looking back. Not only lyrically but musically, as the Division Bell is full of sounds that PF has done in the past. “Marooned” is a Bluesy guitar driven track that haunts after a listen. “A Great Day of Freedom” is indeed about the collapse of the Berlin Wall, however, one can view that it’s also about David moving on from Roger, suggesting the opening line “On the day the wall came down” may be David singing he feels free from Roger’s toxin influence. “What Do You Want From Me” is the heaviest, Blues inspired track on the album that is about no matter how hard you try to please a certain person, you really can’t, and you have to wonder if Polly wrote this for David on his history with Roger. “Poles Apart” is a beautifully written, DADGAD ballad with slide guitar and a killer solo at the end. Though the song may have a carnival like music in the middle that may drag the song, it’s still nevertheless a brilliant, underrated track. “Take It Back,” “Coming Back to Life” and “Keep Talking” are perhaps the three highlights, back to back, while “Lost For Words” is a “Wish You Were Here” inspired ballad that reflects  past relationships. Of course, the album epic closer “High Hopes” is really about looking into the past and try moving forward, without the consequences of your past haunting you in the near future. Till this day, I still feel this album is underappreciated, as for twenty years it was PF’s last studio effort.
5. The Wall, 1979. My first Pink Floyd album, and one that really got me into the band. To be honest, I have a love and hate relationship with The Wall. It’s a classic album, nonetheless, but I cannot help but feel that without the key classic tracks, The Wall is actually a poor album with a lot of filler. Of course, with classic songs like “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt.2″ “In the Flesh?,” “Mother” “Goodbye Blue Sky,” “Young Lust,” “Hey You,” “Comfortably Numb,” “Run Like Hell” and “Waiting for the Worms” really save this album for me, as I tend to think most of these tracks are filler, practically the under two minute tracks. Nevertheless, I did grow into liking a couple of songs. “The Show Must Go On” is a very underrated track that should have been longer than it is. “The Trial” was a difficult track to listen to for the first time, but over the years I grow to like, somewhat. The Wall isn’t a bad album, but I do agree that the first half is stronger than the second half. Now knowing it tells a story (rather a strange one), it tells the story of Roger Water’s father’s death in WWII, and how the main character, Pink Floyd, becomes a drug addict whose behavior becomes unpredictable, which was based off seeing Syd Barrett’s downfall. The album is full of history, one that is inspired of Roger spitting on a fan after the fan threw beer on him. Roger than wanted to isolate the band from the audience, and the idea of The Wall was born. However, Richard Wright didn’t like the idea of having a wall being built between the band and the audience, Roger grew hatred for Wright, accusing him not to come up with any material, eventually firing him from the band. The Wall is indeed a classic, though I do find certain tracks bring it down while the radio classics really help the Floyd to be one of the biggest bands they are today.
4. The Dark Side of the Moon, 1973. The most well known and successful Pink Floyd album. Dark Side of the Moon was influenced when the band finally found their sound from 1971′s success, Meddle, particularly the 23 minute track “Echoes.” The band then wanted to further explore, with Roger coming up the band’s fully first concept album. The concept itself is about life, with the album starting out with Nick Mason mimicking a heartbeat with the bass drum. “Breathe (In the Air)” is a brief track about existence, while the heavily synth driven “On the Run” deals with fear, often about a man running away from an airplane. “Time” reflects how live itself is short, and you should use your limited time on Earth wisely. “The Great Gig in the Sky” is about death, as Clare Torry sings her finest, wordless roar as a grieving woman. “Money” is about greed and how corporations and governments are always thirsty for money while those that work hard are often struggling to make end’s meet. “Us and Them,” one of my all time favorite Floyd tracks, is another antiwar song that is sung by David in a haunting and beautiful delay effect that makes his voice echo. “Any Colour You Like” is another instrumental that is about existence while Roger takes turns to lead in the closing tracks, “Brain Damage” and “Eclipse,” with the former song about Barrett’s descent into madness and the latter about everything you see, touch, taste, smell, and feel is what you make of life and what life has to offer. This album is a classic, yet I still feel, like The Wall, a bit overrated in PF’s amazing catalogue.
3. Wish You Were Here, 1975. With the success of The Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd found themselves overwhelmed to come up with a follow up. Originally titled as “Household Objects,”  Roger Waters thought it’d a be a good idea to find household objects to make music noises with. However, the idea soon became too time consuming, and Pink Floyd find themselves back at square one. It was the idea of Gilmour’s now famous guitar riff that spark. Roger recorded Gilmour in a giant empty studio, with Gilmour playing the well known riff in what soon became the classic “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.” It became apparent that, because of the success of DSOTM, Pink Floyd should pay tribute to their original founder, Syd Barrett. Roger also reflected lyrics on the music business as a whole, how their company is forcing them to come up with a successful follow up. “Welcome to the Machine” and “Have A Cigar” reflect on those themes. “Shine You Crazy Diamond” is a tribute to Syd, who, one day, came in the studio, overweight, his hair and eyebrows completely shaven off, and barely unrecognizable. It was David who then saw this stranger was indeed Syd Barrett, and the man quickly left soon afterward, shocking the band. Wish You Were Here met some criticism when it was released, stating that the band didn’t find any new ground. However, it soon gain an occult following. David has stated this is his personal favorite PF album.
2. Animals, 1977. Another concept album. By this time, it became apparent that Roger was the leading lyricist, and this album shows that Roger was beginning to take over the sound of PF as well, as he leads most of the songs instead of David. Roger saw the punk rock movement, their hatred in Progressive Rock sound, and knew the band should get heavier and grittier. He took this idea and based it off the George Orwell’s classic novel Animal Farm, giving certain types individuals and classes animalistic metaphors. We got the backstabbing businessmen as “Dogs,” a seventeen minute track which Gilmour receives the only other song writer in a Roger Waters driven album. Gilmour in fact sings the first half of the song, providing his only sung lyrics of the entire album. “Pigs (Three Different Ones)” is about the rich men and their greed, an eleven minute Bluesy track with Wright’s eerie keyboard tunes and Gilmour’s haunting guitar-scape sounds, as well as cattle bells from Mason. The most heaviest is the ten minute epic “Sheep,” about the followers who don’t want to lead, how they are mocked by the dogs. Here, Roger gives it all in his delivery while Gilmour provides funk like, edgy guitar chops that explode in the end. The album begins and end with the two parts “Pigs on the Wing,” which Roger strums an acoustic guitar and talking to listeners that we know that both we and him should care about each other, waiting for influencers to arrive, the pigs on the wing. Besides The Wall, Animals is perhaps Pink Floyd at their most “street” sounding album. It is a gritty album compared to the DSOTM and WYWH, hinting of what’s to come. Yet I am more drawn to this album because it is one of the very few PF albums that doesn’t sound like any other Floyd album. Despite I choose Gilmour over Waters, it is in Waters emotions and delivery that are highlights for me for this album, as well as the darker, grittier sound PF has ever put out.
1. Meddle, 1971. Because of their hatred of the previous albums, Pink Floyd find themselves to look for influences around them. What we got is Pink Floyd’s most folky album they ever put out. Meddle is my personal favorite Floyd album for that very reason, yet there are some harder rock stuff in songs like the opening “One of These Days” and in certain sections of “Echoes.” “A Pillow of Winds” is my all time personal favorite Floyd track. A slow acoustic ballad with slide guitar and beautifully textured organ sounds, there’s something about this song that strike it as my all time favorite from the Floyd. It’s a beautiful and a bit eerie track, which is a rare love song for the Floyd. “Fearless” is another great obscured track that is much more folk rock driven with Gilmour’s delivery on guitar riffs near the end that is a highlight for me. “San Tropez” is a Roger Waters driven track that sounds perfect in a California setting. It has that surf vibe for sure. “One of These Days” is one of the best instrumentals the Floyd has put out, with double basses done by both Gilmour and Waters, with Gilmour then kicking it overdrive with the lap steel. “Echoes” is an epic twenty three minute track that put Floyd on the map. An eerie yet beautiful track, “Echoes” is the song that the Floyd found their sound in, and got inspired by, and the rest is history.  “Echoes” provides some funky moments, as well as some hard rock, and an some ambient soundscapes. The real highlight for me is when, within the 18:14 mark, is Gilmour’s most beautifully haunted arpeggio riff. I love it every time it kicks in. While Meddle was the album in which the Floyd found their sound, it is my personal favorite Floyd album, one I still think it’s very underrated in their entire catalogue.

3 Ways To Make A “Perfect” Pinterest Pin
Tips and ideas for how to create the best Pinterest pins! My top 3 ways for figuring out what Pinterest thinks would be a perfect pin for your blog, product or service.
I am a huge marketing nerd and love figuring things out… but up until now, Pinterest was a bit of a puzzle to me. I knew I should be able to get more traffic from there, but nothing I did really seemed to make a huge difference.
Until I figured out this one thing….
please note :: I often recommend resources, some I receive an affiliate commission for at no additional cost to you, these all help to keep this site free for you!
Pinterest Marketing “Rules”
When I started doing Pinterest seriously a few years ago, I really tried to get big numbers and had a few pins that drove some traffic to my website and Etsy stores, but honestly, it felt like I was doing A LOT of work for not all that many results.
So I took some classes, some were AMAZING and some were just blah, but they all had “rules” to live by! And now I get so much better results by breaking ALL the rules!
You HAVE To Stick To Your “Brand”
This one killed me for so long. All the normal marketing people told me to “have a brand” so I did. I had a look to my pins that was super distinctive and … wah, wah, wah. I got okay Pinterest results, but nothing amazing.
And then I figured out that Pinterest doesn’t care about my brand, it cares about what people on Pinterest like… doh!
You CAN’T Make More Than One Pin For Your Post, Product or Service!
I don’t know if this was ever true, but for sure it is not true now, you don’t have to have just one pin for post, product or service offering. You can have as many as you need to get traction.
Keep adding pins until something “hits” and you start to see results. Don’t just give up when it isn’t working.
I frequently check my stats to see if I am getting traffic from Pinterest and if not, then I make a new pin and see if I can get that one to pop!
You CAN’T Pin Multiple Times A Day
Oh my gosh, this one… Pinterest doesn’t care how many times a day you pin!
Pinterest WANTS new and fresh pins that are interesting to their users. Pin as many as you want as long as you have a plan and are mixing things up and not just pinning the same 3 things over and over again.
There is a RIGHT Ratio of Pinning
Back in the day, like 2012, there was a right-ish ratio of pinning. Pinterest was more concerned with you having curated boards and sharing.
But now they are more pin/subject based and want to have as many great pins available for their users as possible.
You don’t have to pin anyone else’s pins if you have enough content of your own! that said, I DO pin other people’s pins from my Tailwind Tribes, but that benefits me too!
Looking At Pinterest – Search
Okay, here is the first big secret to getting your pins to work. Honestly, I do this for every set of pins I make and it has changed my life.
Do a search on Pinterest and see what the first “group” of pins look like. I always use my desktop so this is usually 17-20 pins.
You will see that there are a few different kinds of pins that rank highly. When you are making your own pins, do those exact kinds of pins!
Headbands
I am a little obsessed with headbands right now (I just got a super short haircut) and so I frequently check Pinterest to see what is out there. Taking a quick peek at the headbands pins, we see headbands on people, product posts, and a couple of headband articles.
This is great if you are an Etsy seller or blogger. As a seller you don’t have to blog, but as a blogger you can have an article pin, a lifestyle pin and a product pin! Whoo whoo!
Making any of these kinds of pins would mean you might be able to get traction in the Pinterest search!

Decoupage
I am starting to do more decoupage posts on my Artsy Fartsy blog so before I even start taking pictures, I need to know what kinds are popular on Pinterest! Here we see finished products, kind of a collage of what was used with a finished product and then a “how to” pin of the entire process.
Yes, writing a blog post is fun for me, but seeing these kinds of pictures helps me to know what I need to do when making my products and taking pictures of the process!

Etsy Jewelry
Okay here is one for my Etsy seller, product peeps! A quick peek shows that few of the Etsy jewelry pics are “products on white backgrounds”, even the plain ones have a bit of a flair. Also lifestyle pictures and a collage show up!
I am SUPER careful with my product peeps not to make blogging suggestions! My besty sells on her Shopify store and she is NOT going to write a whole blog post about her products, but FOR SURE she could do a collage with some of the products in a category in her store and get Pinterest traffic!

Pinterest Marketing
If you are a blogger like me, you know that coming up with 3-5 different pins for a blog post can seem overwhelming and you DO want things to look nice on your own website. But here you can see that there certain “styles” of pins that are showing up high in the search. There are plain color/illustration ones, dark background ones and then Pinterest pretty ones. doing Pinterest pretty pins has increased the traffic to my little site by something like 6,000%… zoinks!
THIS would be a great example of how to do different styled pins for a blog post. Any of these could be interchanged to test and see which did the best in Pinterest search!
Pin Sources… Tailwind, XO Sarah, Blog Pixie
Alzheimers & Dementia
One part of my baby website is an Alzheimers and Dementia Caregivers section. This is what finally opened my eyes to the amount of traffic that Pinterest could drive! Just one of my posts is bringing in over 8,000 hits a month and so I want to make more that could do even better.
I have 4 different pins for that post and two of them took off, getting shared thousands of times.
What was interesting to me about this search was how different these pins are. They are graphic, infographic and products. This is because I went WAY up the search chain to just Alzheimers rather than adding caregiving to the search. Sometimes it pays to go really broad and get some new  ideas!
Pin Sources… Goldencarers, Activecareliving, Etsy
Accounting
Poor boring accounting, I use it as an example all the time because I couldn’t think of anything worse than being an accountant! But it does seem that there are some standard types of pins that are doing well for accountants! “Normal” blog pins are working but also spreadsheets and flowcharts are showing up… interesting.
One blog post about flowcharts or spreadsheets could have been the basis for all these pins. Don’t forget to make a variety of pin styles for every one of your posts!
Pin Sources… Thelazysource, Mybackofficecoach, Scribd
Vintage Decor
One of the hardest things about selling vintage on Etsy is the low volume of searches for old dear products. That is not a problem in Pinterest, farmhouse style and vintage decor are SUPER popular and easy to take pictures of!
Again, if you are not a blogger, just a seller you don’t have to do the first one, but for sure have some lifestyle photos for your products. Grabbing some cookbooks and sticking them in a wire basket could drive traffic to your shop for years!
Note: Because my vintage Etsy peeps sell one of a kind items, when you do your pins set the URL to one of your categories rather than the item. Because of how Etsy treats “sold” listing, you want to make sure your pins drive traffic to YOUR shop if they go viral and you sell out!
Pin Sources… Apartment Therapy, A Bowl Full of Lemons, Littlevintagenest
Real Estate Marketing
Sometimes your pin style can change search! From hearing all my Pinterest woes, you might think that I can’t make anything work on Pinterest, but my pin style has changed what Pinterest thinks is popular for real estate marketing, Two of my pin styles (the pink marketing posts one and the green postcards one are mine!) It just so happened that my ascetic matches what Pinterest likes in this one search… yay!

"Oh, Fuck."
"Hey, Gajeel, that's Levy voice-Wah!" Natsu yelped as Gajeel picked him and Happy. Natsu was really getting tired of being picked up and thrown.
"Sorry Salamander," Gajeel began, his bangs covering his eyes so all you could see was the grimace on his face. "But I can't lose this place…" And with that, Happy and Natsu were thrown out the hatch.
"AAAhHHH!"
"That sounds like…" Wendy started.
"NATSU!"
"Huh, so he was the light," Cana said, rubbing her chin. "Then mystery solved!" And she clapped her hands, a smug smile on her face. "I FUCKIN' TOLD YOU SO!"
Lucy stomped away from the startled group. Was this some sort of prank?! He was the "ghost"?! How DARE he?! And how DARE he come and mess up the party! She was going to give him the Lucy-kick of a lifetime! She was so angry!
Thump!
She quickly regretted walking away from the group though.
For Natsu saw her right away.
"NATSU! YOU JERK! HOW COU-"
"LUCY!"
Next thing Lucy knows is that she is tackled to the ground with a blubbering idiot practically strangling her in a comfy warm embrace, humming in delight. Her feet came off the off the ground as he jumped up and down and swung her around.
"LUCY! LUCY! LUCY!" He giggled, rubbing his cheeks and his nose against her now red ones, taking in her calming scent by poking his nose out of the mask. "Did you finally realise that we're cooler and that you should hang out with us?!"
"NO, YOU IDIOT! AND LET ME GO! THIS IS EMBARRASSING!" She said beating on his broad chest, yet he only held her tighter. He wasn't planning on letting go of her. Especially after he just got her. "Wait, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR HEAD?! ARE THOSE MY CLOTHES?!"
"Uh," He didn't want to say 'Hey Lucy! Yes they are your clothes because I can't handle not sleeping with you because I love you so much!' "Um…"
"WE WERE PLAYING NINJAS! SO WE USED YOUR CLOTHES FOR MASKS!" Happy cried. Natsu looked over at his little blue friend. The green sack that he always carried on his back was now wrapped around his tiny face. Happy, you are my hero! I'm gonna get you so many fish!
"Why can't you use your own clothes and not mine?!"
"Because it's more fun!" Happy said.
"You idiots!" Lucy screamed and punched Natsu in the face. Hard. That would leave a mark. After she did she scuttled away from him, standing up and glaring down at him in his sitting position, her hands on her hips. "And why are you out here anyways?! Did you follow me?!"
Yes, he thought.
"No we didn't! We were playing in these woods! And can't WE have a BOYS night too!" He jumped up, only to bend down to be level in Lucy's face.
Lucy was so cute when she was mad. Well, she's always cute but at the moment she was more flustered than mad. Actually, she's scary when she's mad. When she's flustered, she puffed up her cheeks and pouted her lips. She scrunches up her shoulders, her arms going back and stands on her tiptoes, kinda like a cat trying to look bigger, (Even though she is barely 5'0, and compared to his 5'9, it was nothing.) And her voice also gets higher and higher and louder and louder, the "madder" she gets.
"Hey! Why do you still have my clothes on your head?! Give 'em back!"
"NO! They're mine now!" He said as she tried to pull them off and he tried to keep it on. Since Lucy wasn't going to back down, Natsu began to try to run away only to have Lucy chase after him. The girls watched them, either trying to hold back the snickers or trying to not fangirl.
"They are so in love," Lisanna said, biting her lip to keep from giggling.
"I know right?" Happy said, now sitting next to the girls.
"Hey Levy~! Did you bring out any of that popcorn?" Mira asked, an evil gleam in her eyes. "I wanna see how this turns out!"
"Sorry, Mira! I didn't!" the bluenette answered. She was slightly worried for her blonde friend. Although Levy knew that they were only play fighting, it was still strange that Natsu and Happy were here.
"How do you put up with them all the time? I can barely handle it in the guild," Evergreen asked Wendy.
"I don't really know. They did stuff like this when I first met them when we got the Oracion Seis. I honestly thought they were together. When I found out that they weren't I was surprised. After that I got used to it!" She shrugged and smiled.
"Well, I get rather irritated by it!" Carla said. "They act like a couple, so they need to stop kicking the bush and just get together! It's foolish and annoying!"
"I was gonna say the same thing about us Carla~!"
"I wasn't talking to you, Tomcat!"
"So...Are ghosts not... real?" Erza, her fist clenched and shaking with rage, looked as if she was about to cry or explode. Maybe both? "Was it just NATSU?!"
"Oh, SHIT! Run, Natsu! Run!"
"What the fuck do think I'm doing, Cana?!"
"Yeah, but Erza's about to beat your ass!"
"WHAT?!" His eyes bugged out of his head. He tried running faster, only to slam into the red-head herself and fall on his butt. She glared down at him, her sword with it's gleaming sharp edge going at his throat. She would show no mercy. Lucy slowed to a stop behind him, knowing that Erza would give him a worthy punishment.
"You ruined our ghost hunt!"
"I'm sorry! I didn't know you were on a ghost hunt or whatev-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence as Erza threw him straight through a tree trunk. Wood splinters exploded everywhere. Ok, now Lucy felt bad for him. If he was a normal human, he probably would've been dead, but he's Natsu. But still, that looked like it hurt! Erza dusted off her hands as she looked at the boy struggling to get out.
"You're lucky I'm feeling nice today," Erza threatened, glaring at the pinkette.
"You're NEVER nice!"
"What was that?!"
"Nothing ma'am!"
As the grumbling Erza walked away, Natsu tried getting himself out. Luckily his arms were out so he tried to push against the tree yet he was still stuck. Maybe he could light himself on fire? Why did Erza have to be so mean? He didn't mean to get in their way. It wasn't his fault he got thrown out a window by an asshole… He just wanted to see Luce...
"You dummy…"
Natsu looked up from his position and saw the goddess herself. Fireflies glowed around her making her seem to glow even more than she already did. Mavis, why did she have to be so… so...so Lucy! She looked down at him, shaking her head slightly with a small smile on her pretty face. She giggled softly, rosy pink dusting her cheeks.
"First, I'm taking these back," She said as she took off the mask that Natsu was wearing on his head. When she took it off she couldn't help but blush even more and her heart skipped a beat. The face he was making was so cute! He looked like a little kid! His big green eyes looked up at her, looking like the eyes of an innocent child looking at a Christmas tree. His lips parted slightly opened in surprise, kinda like a fish. His messy fluffy pink hair was even more messy from the mask. His cheeks were dusted slightly pink…
Mavis, I wish I could tell you how much I love you…
Natsu, still stuck in the tree, could only stare in awe at the beautiful angel who stole his heart. She was just so kind. He didn't deserve her kindness, yet here she was…
"Here," She said sweetly, smiling, putting her small hands, palms up, in front of him. "Take my hands and I'll help pull you out, okay?"
Most of the girls had gone inside. It was cold outside. And since they now knew who their "ghost" was, there was no point. (And some were tired of seeing "NALU" moments for they already saw it all the time anyways) The few who remained were only Wendy, Carla, Juvia, Levy. And Happy. (Erza probably would've stayed too if she weren't so angry with Natsu) They stood silently watching the couple who were in their own little world.
Natsu hesitantly brought his large hands closer to hers, as if he was afraid he would break them. He always liked the feeling of her hands. They were so tiny compared to his. And they were so soft. And yet, she still had calluses on them from fighting... As his big rough warm hands engulfed hers, he gently pawed at them. Looking as if he was trying to get a good grip when really, he just wanted to hold them...
"I'm going to pull you out on 3."
He hummed in agreement, lost in her gorgeous chocolate eyes.
"1...2...3!" she said as she heaved.
Even as she tugged with all her might, he wouldn't budge. She tugged and yanked and still nothing. She huffed. Damn, he's really stuck! "Uh, Could I get a little help, please?" She looked over to see the few people who were left. Wendy and Carla had gotten tired so they went to bed, while Happy pestered Carla.
"Oh, right!" Levy said. "C'mon Juvia! I could cast some solid script butter to make it slippery..."
"Yes! And Juvia will use water to push him out!"
After Levy casted her butter spell, she slipped it between Natsu and the tree. Lucy still kept yanking away.
"Now, Juvia!"
"WATER BLASTER!"
The idea worked. But it worked too well! For as soon as Natsu was free, him and Lucy went flying towards the trees, soaking wet from Juvia's spell.
"Holy shit!"
"LUCY! HANG ON!" Natsu immediately brought Lucy to his chest. Wrapping his arms around her petite frame, cradling her to him tightly. The forest around them becoming a blur of green and brown, and the pitch black sky. She clung to him, fingers digging desperately into his shirt. Both of their eyes closed as they braced for impact. As they soared through the air, he spun themselves around so if they were to crash, he would take all the impact. He can't bear seeing her hurt...
"GATE OF THE LAMB! I CALL UPON THEE! ARIES!"
Instead of hitting something hard, he hit pink fluffy wool. Relief washed over him as he realised that they were safe.
"I-I'm so sorry, Miss Lucy! I-I should've done that faster!" said Aries, looking away and shaking her head and shuffled her feet, ashamed of herself.
"You have nothing to be sorry about, Aries! You did great! Thank you! You saved us!" Lucy assured. Lucy was always worried about Aries. She didn't like how she would always beat herself up over things. It's not healthy!
"R-really, Miss Lucy?"
"Lucy! Natsu! Are you okay?!" Lucy looked to see Levy and Juvia running toward them.
"Juvia's sorry that you two went so far! At least you two are safe!"
"At least we got you out of there Natsu!"
"Miss Lucy, I'm g-going back home okay?"
"Absolutely! Great job! Good night!" Lucy called. Aries returned a soft 'good night' back and disappeared back to the Celestial World.
"Speaking of going home, since we got Natsu out, we should be heading back to my place! It's past one!"
"Wow! It's that late?! Juvia didn't notice!"
"Uh, Natsu? You can let me go now…" Lucy said, although she really didn't want to leave, a blush still adorning her cute face as she looked up at him. She fidgeted with the buttons that held his black one sleeved jacket closed. Oh man, her friends were definitely going to tease her about this. Natsu was lying on his back against the fluff Aries made and on his chest, Lucy had her head (She smiled as she heard him purr slightly), while one strong arm wrapped around her waist, the other held her head under his chin. He flushed slightly, not even noticing that he was still holding onto her. It just felt so natural...
"Oh, yeah. Um, here."
"Thank you!" Lucy exclaimed as she stood up since he finally released her, patting his head then made it go to hold his cheek, which he placed his much larger hand over top of and leaned into it, nuzzling his nose into her palm and closed his eyes trying to take in her scent one last time. She giggled at his "sleepiness" and rubbed her thumb against his cheek. "It's good to see you safe and sound. I'm going to go back with the girls and continue our sleepover but don't worry! We'll hang out tomorrow! So I'll see you later! Good night! You look like you could use some sleep!"
You have no idea..., he thought. He just stayed in that position for some time, trying to be with her a little bit longer, when she slid his hand out from his, away from his face. Though he still held on to her little hands…
"Hey, Sleepyhead! You can't sleep yet, you need to go home!"
"You're my home…"
"I'm sorry, I didn't catch that. What did you say?"
Shit, he thought. He flushed slightly, he didn't realise he said that outloud… "I, uh, said that I'll go home! Yeah! I'll go home! G'night Luce!"
She giggled yet again. "Good night, Natsu! Sleep beautiful dreams!" As she hopped along to meet with Levy and Juvia.
I won't get beautiful dreams if you're not there...He watched her figure as she left. Not even noticing the two other girls as she did.
Shit… Guess we came here for nothing...Although as always he was grateful for every moment he had with her. But she still wasn't with him in the end like he wanted. It wasn't like he didn't want her to see her friends, it's just… He wanted be with her too. And it wasn't like he never hung out with his friends, actually Natsu hung out with the guys quite often. (If you call hanging out, fighting and insulting each other) Not as much as he hung out with Luce of course but still… He sat in the pink fluff as he thought on what he should do now, when Happy came up to him.
"Hey! You're out of the tree! Carla still won't listen to me! I saw the girls heading back! What should we do now buddy?" He purred happily walking up to his friend. Natsu slowly brought his right hand to his chest, where his heart was still beating wildly. Happy noticed and started to get worried. "Hey! What's wrong?! Are you going to get all weird again?! Should I get stuff?!"
"No," Natsu said smiling slightly. "Fly me to Lucy's place will ya, buddy?"
Happy was at first surprised at Natsu's request but smiled after he understood. "AYE SIR!" Happy picked Natsu up in his paws and zoomed above the forest and city into the night. Only when they finally made it to Lucy's house did Happy stop, climbing through the window. As Natsu put his feet on the ground he walked toward the bed. He took off his wet sticky clothes leaving him only in his boxers, placing his precious scarf on the nightstand. He pulled the light pink covers back as he climbed in on his belly. He grabbed her pillow and shoved his face into it. The familiar rumbling in his chest came. It isn't her but it'll have to do…
Happy came in the room, half a fish in his mouth that he probably got from Lucy's fridge. He jumped onto the bed, finishing his fish and started kneading the bed by Natsu's head, purring. When Happy deemed it worthy, he curled up into a ball.
"Night Night, Natsu!"
"Yeah... G'night…"
"Hey what's wrong? You're not happy!"
Natsu chuckled at Happy's antics. He flipped over on his back as he stared at the ceiling. Again he placed his hand in the middle of his shirtless chest, right where his heart was beating fast and hard. Even this far away she still had an effect on him.
"I've got it real bad...Don't I, Happy?"
Happy realised what he was talking about and thought of a way to tell his friend. "I don't know, Natsu," Happy said in professional voice. "Let's see what Dr. Happy has to say! Hmm, sweating palms," Happy pawed at his palms.
"Stupid grin on your face…"
"Hey!"
"Your eyes look all mushy and lovey dovey...Your cheeks are red...You doing stuff for her and taking care of her all the time… You always worrying about her… You always go to see her… You caring about every single thing about her… The fact that you can't sleep without her…You always going to check on her and make sure she's ok...And OH MY!" Happy gasped dramatically, laying on the pinkette's chest. "Your hearts going a gazillion trillion miles a minute and… You're purring~! Aye sir! This is the worst case of Lovesickness I've ever seen!"
Natsu let out a hearty laugh. He was really glad he had a friend like Happy. Happy would be there for him no matter what and Natsu will always be there for him. Happy was also someone he could talk to about his feelings for Luce.
"And you know what the cure is?" His blue cat continued.
"What's the cure, Doc?" Natsu asked still smiling.
"The only cure is you telling Lucy about your lovesickness."
Natsu immediately stopped laughing, looking like he'd seen the ghost that the girls were looking for. "Oh, no. Nononononononono!" Natsu cried, shaking his head wildly, pulling at his pink locks. "Are you crazy Happy?! I'm not good enough for her! And if she ever finds out, she would feel sad because she doesn't love me back! And then she'd stay away from me! Then she'd never talk to me again! Then I won't be able to hang out with her anymore! Then she-"
"Stop," Happy had placed his paw on Natsu's mouth to keep him from talking. "Take deep breaths. You're acting like a fish out of water."
Natsu flipped over shoving his face back into her pillow and groaned. "This fucking sucks! I can't tell her and I can't stop loving her. I can't do fucking anything!"
Happy sighed and started to knead Natsu's back, trying to relax him and help him sleep. He knew that Natsu will probably never tell her. As brave and fearless as Natsu was in battle, he was a wuss when it came to Lucy, but only with telling her how he feels. Yet she also made him stronger too. He could do anything when it came to Lucy, well, except for telling her how he felt, but other than that, Natsu would do anything and everything for her or because of her. Happy was about to ask Natsu if he was feeling better when he heard a loud snore.
"Hehe, Night night, Natsu!" Happy then finally curled up on Natsu's back, letting Natsu's rising and falling of his breathing to lull him to sleep.
If only Natsu knew that Lucy had the lovesickness too!
Bleh. I kinda feel like my writing has been getting less detailed as the story goes on but whatever. IT SHALL GO ON!
(By the way, I know that Lucy isn't that short, but you know what? I absolutely love the thought of a tiny cute smol Lucy and a tall-ish Natsu! So yeah, please be chill about that.)
Love y'all!
