Fifteen-year-old Sophia rolled her eyes as she dropped the last couple of feet to the ground inside Alexandria's walls. She'd been sneaking out for as long as she could remember. Even now, she was old enough to walk right out the front gate, but today she had been feeling the desire to not have anyone know her whereabouts so she'd gone over the wall. Carl must have squealed on her. She dusted her hands off and turned to face Rick. "I wasn't out long," she promised him.

Rick knew that Carol would be worried sick if she found out that Sophia had been sneaking out and going over the wall. Not that his own kid hadn't been doing it for years even before they had come to Alexandria, so she no doubt learned it from him or at least got the courage to try it from him. He narrowed his eyes. "You could have gotten hurt and nobody would have known where to even start looking, Soph."

She rolled her eyes once again. This is why she hadn't gone out the front gate. She needed some space and being treated like a child wasn't on her list of things to do today. "You're not my Dad," she reminded him as she started toward the house she shared with her Mom and Rick and Carl and Judith. She adjusted the backpack that had her arrows sticking out of it and shifted the knife at her hip. The bow slipped off her shoulder, causing her to reach to grab it. "I don't need you controlling my life."

He frowned then. He knew he had no business trying to parent her. Whatever was going on between himself and Carol was still relatively new in some ways, and he knew the experience that the girl had with her own father. "I can be controlling, yes…" he began then paused for a moment. "But it's because I care, Sophia."

She took a shaky breath as she turned to face him. "You love my Mom and I know you love me, too, but Carl goes over the walls all the time and he's younger than me. Why don't you crawl his ass?"

Andrea was as close as she could be with her parents and with Amy (because of the age difference) given that they didn't live close to one another. She did call and would text as often as she could. Growing up, she was close to her cousins who were close to her age, but as life happened, they became distant. She'd see them at family reunions.

Charley was close to their extended family. They had one aunt and uncle on their mother's side and two aunts and one uncle on their mother's side. There was a handful of cousins on both sides. They were always in and out of one another's lives as kids and young adults. Some were closer than others.

Ed always made her feel uncomfortable. He was her Daddy, but all she could see when he was near her was the man who screamed at her Mama and made her cry. She was scared of him and avoided him at all costs. She hated spending time one one-on-one with him which didn't happen often, but when it did, she was always quiet and he would eventually get bored and tell her to go find Carol or go to her room or outside to play.

Please Note: a muse wasn't specified so I gave a brief wishlist plot for each of my muses. I hope that was okay.

Andrea doesn’t get left behind at the farm and never meets Michonne. She and Rick grow closer after Lori’s death and eventually get together. She’s the reason that Glenn is killed instead of Daryl.

Beth survives Grady Memorial with a superficial wound to her arm/shoulder and reunites with Maggie. They’d have to work through Maggie’s overprotectiveness and see that Beth has grown up a lot and can take care of herself and make decisions regarding her future.

Carol and Rick survive a complete decimation of Alexandria before they meet Negan. So the two of them along with Judith and Carl survive up in the mountains in a cabin they fortify to keep the kids safe. They grow closer while grieving the ones they lost.

Charley and Sammy happen upon Alexandria before the rest of the group show up. He’s allowed to teach and grows close to the kids. He and Beth grow closer once she arrives and starts to teach the children music lessons and piano lessons.

Charley meets Shane after she loses both her husband and her son. She’s somewhat cold because she doesn’t want to grow closer to anyone after losing the love of her life and her child. Shane is hesitant to allow her to come along with him, but she shows him she can watch his back and protect him and he agrees to do the same for her.

Daryl goes after Carol when the prison falls. They’re not there when the prison is attacked and return to it decimated and have to go after the others and save them from Terminus. They grow closer and get together while out on the road together just the two of them.

Rick and Lori are divorced at the time of the fall. He’s not shot, but he’s not with them when they escape King County when it falls. He manages to find them the same way that he does in the show, and they manage to work things out because Lori’s current partner is killed during the initial days of the Outbreak by being bitten and turning and trying to kill Carl.

Shane leaves the farm as soon as he knows Carl is okay. He cannot live with the fact that he almost destroyed Rick’s marriage and with what he did to Lori and the CDC, and feels they’d be better off without him there to remind them of the things that happened in Rick’s absence. He happens upon Terminus at the same time as they do and helps Carol rescue them all.

Sophia is found by Daryl and reunited with Carol. She idolizes Daryl and wants to learn to do all the things that he does and becomes a productive member of the group all the while scheming to get Daryl and Carol together.

Carol and Sophia would always paint each others toes and fingernails. It’s why Carol still carries around a bottle of nail polish in her pocket at all times to keep Sophia close to her. So she kept the bottle they found at the CDC until it was all gunked up and couldn’t be used anymore. She then replaced it with a similar color and kept it in her pocket until the same thing happened.

Also before the Outbreak, they would make all of Sophia’s Halloween costumes together and sew other crafts and things as well. Anything Sophia could think of, they’d do their best to create for real.

Sophia hadn't heard Carl come into the kitchen, but suddenly, there he is behind her. His hands gently turn her so that he can cup her cheek and glide his thumb across her cheekbone as she gives him a shy smile. Her breath was caught in her throat as she leaned into his touch. "I missed you."

Carl leaned in, pressing his mouth softly to hers before he pulled back and smiled down at her. "Missed you, too, Soph. You were my first stop." He pulled her into a tight embrace as their arms tangled around one another.

"Guess that means I have to let you go again so you can go fill in your Dad and the others, huh?" She pulled back so she could search his eyes to make sure that everything had went well.

He kissed her once again. "Sadly, yes. But I couldn't go another minute without kissing you. You could always come with me?"

So that's what she did.

Sophia's hand moved to her slightly rounded stomach. She frowned as she watched Carl get ready to go out on a supply run to Hilltop. She chewed nervously at her bottom lip. She couldn't help but to worry now that she was carrying their child. "Carl," she started. Her frown deepened as she saw how much he was packing. "You said you wouldn't be gone long, but it looks like you're planning to be gone for a few days."

Carl turned, confused because he wasn't planning on even spending the night. It was a quick trip there and back just like he'd said. Then he realized that he'd been packing clothes as if he was staying over. "Oh!" He moved to her, hand on her belly first then the other on her cheek. "I'm taking these clothes that we found on that run last month for some of the people there. They're not mine," he promised her as he leaned in and kissed her forehead.

She felt sheepish then. She wasn't usually this clingy. It wasn't a good feeling. "Sorry," she mumbled as her cheeks started to burn hot and red.

He shook his head. "Don't be, Soph." He lifted her chin with his finger and kissed her softly. "I'll see you soon, okay? I promise." He kissed her again, letting his lips linger against hers as he slowly spread his fingers and palm over her growing bump and slowly bent. "You be good for your Mama, okay?" He kissed her belly before smiling up at her.

"You be good, too, okay?" Her hand moved to swat at his ass playfully as he picked up his bag and waved goodbye at the door. She tried so hard not to let the tear fall, but it and a few more fell slowly before she wiped them away. These hormones were no joke. She wasn't sure if she liked them one little bit.

Sophia couldn't remember the last time that she'd been this hungry. It had to have been that winter before they found the prison. She knew that her Mama and the others had done their absolute best to keep their bellies full. Especially hers and Carl's, but there were a few nights mixed in there that she'd gone to bed with her stomach growling. She'd just drink water to quiet it down, and then Daryl always came through and had some fresh kill waiting when they woke up the next morning.

This was worse than any of that had ever been. She missed her family and hadn't been sleeping very good on top of being so hungry that it felt as if her backbone was eating her stomach. So when Molly brought back the two large cans of Chef Boyardee ravioli, she eagerly opened hers and began to use her fingers to shove the delicious squares into her mouth. She had the sauce everywhere, not bothering to stop to take a drink or even much of breath between bites.

"Maybe you should slow down there." Molly knew the kid was hungry, but the last thing she wanted was for Sophia to throw up everything she'd eaten from eating too fast. She slipped a ravioli between her lips, sucking the sauce from her fingers as she did so. "It's not going anywhere," she promised her.

Sophia lowered the can slowly. Her cheeks grew flushed as embarrassment washed over her. "Sorry. Just...hungry, I guess."

Sophia’s last Halloween costume (that she and Carol designed and made together) was Oogie Boogie costume from A Nightmare Before Christmas. She was so excited because Carol even managed to figure out a way to make it glow in the dark.

Shane knows better than to wake someone up quickly from a nightmare. He’d be gentle about it and touch her slowly, first her arm and then her shoulder where he’d gentle shake her. He’d then offer his arms to her if she needed a hug or to be held. He wouldn’t ask questions because he remembers his own nightmares from when he was a kid and didn’t want people prying those memories out of him. But he would let her know that he is there if she ever wants or needs to talk about it. 

Sophia wouldn’t hesitate to wrap herself around Molly and just hold her. She’s done that often for her Mama, and she knows that her Mama always feels safer and better when she does it. So it would just be like instinct for her. She’d be there with her whole heart.
