Dead by Daylight Licensed Franchises Wishlist

I’ve been wanting to make this list so might as well go ahead

Also not all of them are horror but I think they’re related enough to horror to be able to excuse them being in the game

Ghostbusters - I would be fine with it being an only survivor chapter with maybe two of the Ghostbusters and the other two (plus others) being character skins but I think Gozer being a killer would be pretty cool and interesting like two survivors being randomly chosen to be the key master and gatekeeper or something. It’d be cool to give the other killers skins of different ghosts from Ghostbusters lore too.

FNaF - Let’s just get this one out the way, almost everyone and their mom seems to want this and I’m one of them. However I’d prefer the movie versions of the characters be the ones added mostly because there ain’t really physical designs of the game ones but that do have them would probably have skins. Survivor Mike Schmidt, of course, and maybe Vanessa as well if she isn’t a character skin. Maybe character skins from characters from the books like Charlie etc. and, of course, Springtrap killer. It’d be cool if he had skins that turned him into one of the main four, Foxy being the most unique one with him going “Dum dum” and all that.

Scooby-Doo - This one would definitely be just a survivor chapter with the killers getting skins of all the different Scooby-Doo villains. Shaggy would be the survivor of course but honestly I feel like the gang’s personalities and roles are pretty different to make them all skins instead of separate survivors. Like Fred with trap themed perks, Shaggy with bait themed perks, Velma with visibility themed perks, and Daphne with damsel themed perks.

The Walking Dead - I think this would either be a cosplay chapter like Attack on Titan or a Survivor chapter, maybe just Rick with other characters like Daryl and Michonne being a skin.

This is just stuff I think would be interesting or just would be cool. Pretty sure I had other things in mind but I forgot them because I’m tired.

I like to think that Carol insisted on Daryl teaching Lizzie and Mika how to shoot with his crossbow and the four spent a lovely day in the woods (before all hell broke loose)

I do think Daryl knew those girls meant something to Carol. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like a conversation about them or more specifically about what happened to them is on every Caryler’s wishlist.

Mia is a canon character from Arrow. All details vary based on verse, but in general I pull her from after the point where Felicity goes to meet Oliver in the afterlife, but before the universe resets to make Mia a socialite. She has all the memories of being raised by Felicity and training with Nyssa and Oliver. Given that her dad died being a hero, she has a lot of doubts about the hero lifestyle and refuses to pick up the bow in his place. Instead, she makes a living as the undefeated cage fighter, Blackstar, in Star City and also dabbles in cyber crime, where she picked up her ganddad's old codename the Calculator.

tlou: Jesus was fifteen when the outbreak happened, and he later joined the Fireflies in Atlanta, though he eventually becomes disillusioned by their tactics and lives as a nomad.

But what if the spinoff is actually one big road trip courtship of Carol Peletier?  Like we end the series knowing these two are in love, but the spinoff is everything they’ve hinted at plus Daryl and Carol figuring out how to do this whole friends to lovers thing and they essentially meet new people, explore new lands, and date across the apocalyptic United States?

I’d love to see them picnicking in some long abandoned botanical gardens that have just grown wild and free and reclaimed the land.  Pretty flowers everywhere would spark all kinds of memories for Carol, both good and bad, and if she hasn’t already confessed the secret of Lizzie and Mika by this point?  She could unburden herself to Daryl and he could help her see the beauty and hope of flowers again.  

I’d love to see them swaying together underneath a wide open blanket of twinkling stars that swoop down and kiss their fingertips.  Not even dancing, really.  Just the two of them in one of their more intimate than sex embraces, wrapped up tight in each others’ arms, moving to music only they can hear.  

I’d love to see them watch the sun dip low beneath a majestic mountainside and spend the night in a dusty old cabin hidden away with a view to die for.  Maybe there’s a game room and the two of them play pool and remind us all of how adorably competitive they are.  Maybe they barricade themselves away in a loft/bunk room because a family of bears feels like they’re Goldilocks intruding on their territory.  Maybe that same family of bears take offense to Carol and Daryl cuddling and shyly making out beneath a bearskin rug.  For reasons, lol.  

I’d love to see them visit abandoned museums.  Art museums, history museums, quirky novelty museums.  Just anywhere that might bring out their teasing sides and make the conversation flow about who they used to be or used to want to be.  What might have been’s leading to confessions that they wouldn’t change a thing because everything led them straight to each other.  

I’d love to have them find book stores full of forgotten treasures and for Carol to somehow convince Daryl to read to her.  Can you imagine the looks they’d sneak at each other?  The way she’d smile at him with so much affection, the way he’d blush and she’d laugh, and eventually they’d either collapse in a fit of laughter or smolder slow and low enough to ignite their own little fire, you know?  Because something tells me Carol secretly finds Daryl’s voice sexy.  

I’d love to see them visit abandoned tourist traps.  Monuments.  National parks reclaimed by nature and so big and vast and beautiful they feel small again.  Carol would probably take a souvenir from each one.  You know she’d cry if they ever made it to the Grand Canyon.  Daryl probably would too.  

Basically, I���d love to see them growing ever more comfortable in their own skins and finding the peace they’ve deserved for so long.  I’d love confessions in the moonlight and ready smiles in the sunshine.  I’d love angst and sadness giving way to joy that’s infectious.  

I’d just love for it to be the spinoff already because I can’t wait to see how they grow even closer together as soon as they put the past in the past and decide to live for their future.  

I want every heartfelt second of it.  Even the parts that might be awkward because you lovelies just know the awkward parts are just going to endear theses two to us even more.

No Apocalypse AU where Lori and Daryl meet because Lori has Codger and Daryl has dog. They're at a park but wouldn't have even run into each other if it wasn't because their dogs saw each other and ran off to go play. What a predicament to be in with a stranger when your dogs suddenly become best friends and refuse to leave until they've gotten tired of playing together, but at least the company is good.

AU where neither Rick nor Shane make it out of the hospital and so Lori has to get Carl in the car and get out of town,and they end up meeting Daryl on the way, maybe because their car broke down and he helps them, and travelling with him and Merle. Judith still ends up existing but she's Daryl's.

No Apocalypse AU where Lori and Daryl knew each other and were sweet on each other/dating in high school, but for one reason or another they ended up distancing and losing contact after graduation, meeting again years later as adults and reconnecting.

Please Note: a muse wasn't specified so I gave a brief wishlist plot for each of my muses. I hope that was okay.

Andrea doesn’t get left behind at the farm and never meets Michonne. She and Rick grow closer after Lori’s death and eventually get together. She’s the reason that Glenn is killed instead of Daryl.

Beth survives Grady Memorial with a superficial wound to her arm/shoulder and reunites with Maggie. They’d have to work through Maggie’s overprotectiveness and see that Beth has grown up a lot and can take care of herself and make decisions regarding her future.

Carol and Rick survive a complete decimation of Alexandria before they meet Negan. So the two of them along with Judith and Carl survive up in the mountains in a cabin they fortify to keep the kids safe. They grow closer while grieving the ones they lost.

Charley and Sammy happen upon Alexandria before the rest of the group show up. He’s allowed to teach and grows close to the kids. He and Beth grow closer once she arrives and starts to teach the children music lessons and piano lessons.

Charley meets Shane after she loses both her husband and her son. She’s somewhat cold because she doesn’t want to grow closer to anyone after losing the love of her life and her child. Shane is hesitant to allow her to come along with him, but she shows him she can watch his back and protect him and he agrees to do the same for her.

Daryl goes after Carol when the prison falls. They’re not there when the prison is attacked and return to it decimated and have to go after the others and save them from Terminus. They grow closer and get together while out on the road together just the two of them.

Rick and Lori are divorced at the time of the fall. He’s not shot, but he’s not with them when they escape King County when it falls. He manages to find them the same way that he does in the show, and they manage to work things out because Lori’s current partner is killed during the initial days of the Outbreak by being bitten and turning and trying to kill Carl.

Shane leaves the farm as soon as he knows Carl is okay. He cannot live with the fact that he almost destroyed Rick’s marriage and with what he did to Lori and the CDC, and feels they’d be better off without him there to remind them of the things that happened in Rick’s absence. He happens upon Terminus at the same time as they do and helps Carol rescue them all.

Sophia is found by Daryl and reunited with Carol. She idolizes Daryl and wants to learn to do all the things that he does and becomes a productive member of the group all the while scheming to get Daryl and Carol together.

Alright I'm doing a 11b caryl wishlist mostly to see how much my wishlist is ignored by tptb:

Carol and Leah meet. Idc how plot-holey it needs to be in order for this to work. It must happen.

Daryl needs to kill Leah/let her fuck off forever without a single ounce of guilt. Ideally she'd be fighting with/almost killing Carol and he's like. Leah is the new Richard. If Carol gets killed or bit or gets a fever or gets struck by lightning I will kill Leah without hesitation or an ounce of guilt

Carol needs to tearfully say "why did you do that, I'm not worth it, you killed her and you cared about her" a la the cave scene with Connie

Daryl needs to wave his hands around in frustration and snap "Don't you get it it's you it's always been you I'll never hate you bc I love you"

And Carol will be shocked silent and then something urgent will interrupt the scene and/or Daryl will stomp off in frustration while she watches in silent shock

Then and I can't believe I'm saying this but it would be so delicious if either they rarely get another moment alone together for the rest of 11b but they're always exchanging charged glances while the group is discussing how to take over commonwealth or whatever and 2 times the group disperses and they're left alone and Daryl gives her a chance to say something but it clearly always gets stuck in her throat and he stomps off with a disappointed shake of his head and then their last scene together alone in 11b he gives her 1 last chance to say it back and she chokes out tearfully "Daryl, I-" and her hands shake and she breaks off and can't continue and he says "I know you feel the same. But you gotta stop this shit." And she again says tearfully in a shaky voice "I'm trying" and he says "I know" and squeezes her hand before walking away
