Israel's violations in Gaza to be examined by international courts in The Hague

To give a much-abbreviated summary of events:

South Africa has accused Israel of Genocide before the International Court of Justice, stating there should be at LEAST preliminary sanctions placed upon the terror-state. Israel has agreed to attend the hearing, which will be held between the 11th and 12th of January, 2024.

Simultaneously, the International Criminal Court is considering Israel for committing War Crimes, a decision on which could place the powerful states currently supporting Israel in an awkward position of trying to defend War Criminals convicted at The Hague.

The Office of the Prosecutor is currently getting some flak over this situation, as while it took them just one year to call for Vladimir Putin's arrest over his involvement in the War in Ukraine, there has been an investigation ongoing for eight years in Palestine which has somehow yet to find sufficient evidence for a Genocide verdict in Gaza.
