Sooo….a version of the mouse has become public domain. I am totally normal about it and have not reawaken the inner Epic Mickey obsessed self I’ve forgotten about over the years. [I am absolutely obsessed and have been drawing multiple public domain rubber hose toons to add to my catalog and develop stories and background for].

So I designed my version taking inspiration from the big pants he sported in kingdom hearts though these aren’t red they’re grey for obvious copyright. For combat he has a stick broom and the wheel he uses both to power/control his steamboat and it’s mech transformation as well. (inspiration taken from Gurren Lagann)

I took inspo from the Australian jumping mice for the mech version of the steamboat. And yeah that’s basically it!

Give your welcome to Ortensia! + New outfit for Minnie.

In my version, Ortensia is Minnie's companion and she's a bit of a hothead. Despite being very attached to Minnie almost like a sister, she can easly lose her patience when Minnie just does things that she's not supposed to do or say. Ortensia shows a very "tsundere" attitude with others, but she's actually very soft and romantic on the inside, she'll develop a crush on Oswald.

Now I won’t play favorites but- [I will play favorites Oswald is my favorite and I will not forgive that they’ve been doing my boy so dirty for so long, please set him free from the shackles of Epic Mickey!!!] -this guy holds a special place in my heart. His mech and design is based off his oldest short “Trolly Troubles”, and his outfits loosely a mix of his original and a 1920’s train conductor.

His personality is a mesh of how he was towards the end of the first Epic Mickey and some added tidbits from previous shorts he’s presented in.
