Whilst a lot of focus on humanoid robots have primarily been for industry and hospitality, there doesn't to be that much of a drive towards domestic robots, which could be quite useful for home maintenance tasks and personal care and assistance, eventually, one would hope, into personal companion robots; and I use that term as opposed to 'sexbots', as intimacy ought to be a facet of any relationship, even with a humanoid robot.

Anyway, here is the unveiling from 1x of their domestic assistance robot, Neo Beta, and I must confess, it seems rather too good to be true. From this article and its embedded video, there doesn't seem much information with regards to rollout or pricing (I guess if you have to ask, you can't afford it), but one can hope it heralds the dawn of our new robot overlords helpful humanoid machines for our homes, which are a little less trip-overable than a Roomba.

Still, I do wish the woman in the presentation video thanked Beta for handing her her bag. "Manners cost nowt." as my Nan used to say. . .

Look at this cute little game I found!! its still a little under development but just look at these screenshots!

Its just such a cute little robot game with a similar vibe to undertale with how it plays with players choices of being good to the world or helping it, I'm in love with this getting to fix little robots hehehehhhehe

And look at this boss screen! its a good movement puzzle

And look!! the UI changes it's style depending on what part of the game you're in! the hologram effect is kinda cool but a little hard to see sometimes, it's going to get fixed latter apparently

And I even found the loading screen backgrounds, cause I just love the amount of detail in them?! the files were just soooo east to find too because they belong to me and the game doesn't even exist yet but good fuck if I don't have so many ideas for this thing.

Findee scaled up the wooden walls, landing firmly on the roof.

LMFAO YOU'RE A GENIUS- I genuinely had to laugh over this request because it was just perfect. I love the mental image of Noli trying to rizz a computer and 1x just absolutely irritated because Noli is so fucking obvious about it and still somehow trying to cover his tracks (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و And you will be computer anon from now on~

You were a ruthless AI.

Apathetic, sadistic, the whole deal.

And you just happened to catch the attention of none other than your fellow killer, Noli.

If you were any less apathetic, you'd feel bad with how badly he was trying to impress you in the very rare rounds where you'd be thrown in.

Because you were still a robot/computer, you couldn't be thrown into a round by yourself because stuns affected you for longer. Your system would need support occasionally.

And by the Spectre, Noli loved it when he was the one chosen to assist you. He could watch you dismantle the survivors all day and any paradox sentence they used to stop you only offered him another chance to talk to you. Even if it was just to reset your thoughts and get you back on track.

And he would even try to make sure you were nearby to watch him when he killed another survivor. But you best believe he leaves the LMS for you. He just couldn't get enough of that murderous on your robotic face as you'd either bite off the survivor's flesh or decapitated them using a built-in claw he managed to add into your body.

You always reveled in the looks you'd get. The attention would be addictive if your system wasn't making sure to keep you pathetically neutral to it.

Even the other killers couldn't help but laugh or side-eye Noli whenever he was trying to 'rizz' you up back at the killer's cabin. Unlike the survivor cabin, this had rooms for everyone instead of individual cabins.

Probably to keep all the killers tense and ready to let their frustrations out on the survivors. The Spectre thrived on the misery of it all anyways.

And this time was no different. With your head laying in Noli's lap.

He always claimed it was because your body was always so warm and apparently the killer cabin got cold quickly but not even you believed him.

No, you knew he was doing it in hopes of having you feel something. And to presumably 'lay claim' upon you, if you can even call it that.

1x1 seemed even a little amused at the misery of the whole situation despite your indifference to it.

You had no clue about love but you knew a little about animal behaviour because you'd notice your fellow killers sometimes acting strangely and somehow you had a directory in your system for animal behaviours.

This led you to associate everyone at your cabin with an animal.

1x1 was obviously a wolf, John behaved more like a cat to you, and so on.

And Noli? His behaviour might be more bunny-like. Or maybe a fox?

You weren't entirely sure with his recent switch ups.

But you were starting to take notes. And you were starting to learn.

... Much to 1x1's disappointment when you began reciprocating Noli's feelings in your own way.

You were still acting apathetic but let the mask slip every once in a while to show him affection. And you best believe he's ecstatic on the inside whenever you do.

It's never much. Slightly leaning against him sometimes, giving him a kiss on the cheek to congratulate him and acting reserved to avoid your situation with Noli turning into a big deal.

Unfortunately for you, Noli took this as a sign of your reciprocation and began getting a little more clingy. You didn't exactly mind it but had to tell him more than once that you need personal space too, even if you technically can't breath or have any regular needs.

Really, your biggest threat was the survivors using paradox sentences or your body not getting oiled regularly. But Noli was more than happy to help with both situations.

Resetting your thoughts as earlier stated or helping with reaching the joints in your mechanical body that you have trouble with.

Sometimes he even tried to dress you up differently but that made c00lkidd think you were playing and he wanted to be included.

You didn't even mind. Your systems recognized the child as 'cute' despite his current form and you found yourself treating him as such.

You'd even overhear him talking about you as his 'partner' and it took a while to register he meant it in a romantic context which made your systems overheat just a little.

At first it confused you but he explained it to you and you made sure to register it as part of love as an emotion.

All that to say he was devastated during one round when Shedletsky's sword hit your metallic body.

Mind you, this would go away after the round.

But to Noli? Oh, he was acting dramatic about it...

And somehow... That was adorable-

okay i have random and kinda stupid ideas for how all of the currently added characters would have died

noob eat food that had gone bad but didn't realize it then they died due to food poisoning

two time tried respawning after killing azure (didn't work but they didn't notice because they woke up in forsaken and assumed they just respawned in a random cabin and they have the second life now because spectre not spawn)

builderman is a robot that's not the real guy

shedletsky fell off sword fight on the heights

dusekkar got turned into pumpkin pie while sleeping because someone thought he was an actual pumpkin

guest 1337 went boom

elliot blew up trying to take the soda that someone put in the oven out and it blew up

chance lost russian roulette

007n7 probably killed himself

coolkidd might've gotten hit by a car

1x dies with shedletsky

john doe died when the corruption hit his brain

i have no clue how jason could've died maybe spectre just had him on speed dial

Some of those are so absurd it's amazing. Pumpkin pie Dusekkar and Shedletsky falling off SFOTH are my personal favorites.

HELLO ANON ! Sorry for the late response. I didn't exactly get your ask until now. I figured you wanted some facts, so i might as well just list a few things i've already mentioned in my twt account. Of course, most of this are mostly about Pre-O:R or stuff that aren't spoilers to the game

idk if this makes sense but Player *is* us. They are not a separate entity from us as the player, WE ARE THE PLAYER. I want to be able to let people have self inserts (in a way), which is why the player is not a separate character from you. Your choice in game is yours.

While the pre-o:r comics suggest that 1x sees Roblox as her grandpa (seen in Paranoid, this doodle, and Gift), this does not mean they're blood related. All of the admins and Roblox are not blood related despite being created by the same person, though some kind of became like this little found family. quick messy family tree i made an hour ago

Speaking of family; Shedletsky, MrDoombringer, and Matt Dusek sees eachother as brothers (again not blood related. I love found family in a sense HELP)

O:R Shedletsky and 1x have a healthy father daughter relationship. I can't say the same for Shed and Roblox or 1x and Roblox

Emmet's favorite flavor is cherry, second is cookies and cream (this goes for drinks, candy, ice cream, cake, etc.)

Emmet has a cat named Kitters and they are the thing keeping them together.

As a plum, Shedletsky likes to bite Roblox a lot.

Roblox doesn't know how to cook.

Builderman was forced to toughen up and take Shed's place after Shed left HQ, which is why he looks so tense in the og refsheet i made.

like the description of her refsheet, BrightEyes and Shedletsky is "divorced". Though, this is probably to cover up something else.

Emmet is actually my robloxsona! Originally they are a conspiracy theorist who got brainwashed into working under Roblox. After some VERY LONG re(d)write with the help of Timesy, I have far better lore for Emmet. I'd tell you their old lore was VERY MESSY

Operation: Robloxia was actually made out of spite, because I couldn't find a good game in Roblox that isn't a snooze fest and it pisses me off HELP. I always wanted more story focused games, which is why I'm currently developing O:R and doing the best I can !!

most of the agents stuff is inspired by Resident Evil, because I really love the game. The RSA was inspired by the BSAA. Spencer was inspired by Albert Wesker. Emmet was inspired by RE2 Leon S Kennedy. Most of the vibe I'm trying to give was inspired by RE itself lol

I think it would be neat if androids had projected faces

I’m no pro when it comes to edits like this, so showing off my exact vision is a bit hard…

but first I tried to make the facial features more pixelated to give off the vibes of a image projected onto a screen

I also made an alternate version with very simple facial features. It looks a little pretty creepy, but you get idea, right?

I’ve been seeing these 1x robots and fell in love with their cute little faces. Then I remembered some Disney animatronics had projected faces. Of course I had to make it about dbh somehow 🙄

My robot game!!

Scrapped was originally something I made for some art history kinda class (not the game history class, but we did look at games and other media in it. But was the same teacher as the game history. She’s a prick)

The final project was to make just. Anything based on one of the topics we discussed in class. So I decided to make a loose game concept based around general overconsumption, and the weird need in capitalism to constantly buy the newest products that normally lose their quality and break faster an faster.

So for the first concept sketches made, two versions of the same robot were made, the boxy lookin thing that’s got an assortment of mixed parts. Then the sleek round robot, with all the uniform parts you’d expect to see on every other version of its model. Think Wall-e and Eve The "box robots", B0N-1X // B0N-X1 [Bonix // Bonxi]

The idea was that the player would be offered two paths of either scrambling around for loose scrap they’d find in the environment or would get by breaking down the glunk bots (small npc bots), and trading the scrap in for cash in order to buy whichever upgrades needed when a part broke.

Or to take the path where the player can level up their skills and learn to just fix themselves when damaged, being able to level up through fixing up the same glunk bots that you could destroy for a quick coin.

(I ended up just making an essay for that history class, cause as I said the teacher was a prick and I just wanted a decent grade then making another game I actively enjoyed and worked hard on just to get another C on. Still bitter about that)

The only other character in that original group of sketches was Veldrin, who was just “the shopkeeper robot who teaches the player how to fix things” for the longest time. (Wanted to make big ol burly robot with the animated dad moustache) I also gave him a cat cause it’s kinda fun to have this big gruff ol guy and to give them the tinniest lil pet. As said, the cats name is Rob, and Veldri n named the shop after her (Robo n Robs Bits n Bobs). Hes honestly the character I’ve developed the most out of everyone.

that's most of the beginning stuff I made for this game. I've since developed more characters and story behind them. Gave Bonix a proper reason to their character, and why you're able to upgrade them as easily as you can as the player.

Largely because of how my classes were structured last year, a good chunk of recent development was focused on the environment of the game and more with world building. [most of my classes were environment illustration, this year is character design though, so we'll see what happens.]

took my time to reaspond to this, but it lined up with being posted for robot week! and I call that a win.

Media Log 2025 Entry 1X - BURN·E - man, i feel for you.

Just a really funny short to go with WALL-E. It's a good companion piece! It builds off the mostly physical humor that the movie has and extends it into its own little short! It also really exemplifies how cute some of these robot designs are, BURN-E and SUPPLY-R are very cute.

Overall, I think there's something between BURN-E and SUPPLY-R. Sexual tension, maybe. Yaoi. Bot's love.
