and I feel disappointed and a little bit misled tbh by the choices they have made-

These are two thoughts that can coexist btw

#911 lone star #911 lone star season 5 #like im not an idiot #okay i am but that’s not what this is #i was not expecting 20 minutes of emotional conversation #but bare minimum Tarlos is NOT a peck on the cheek with no actual dialogue #in the entire episode #bare minimum Tarlos used to be they would talk about things and it wouldn’t take that long #like this episode in context- this is like in season 3 is TK woke from the coma and the next scene was the 126 is going to be knocked down-#and we learn TK and Carlos moved in together form talking- we didn’t get the welcome home TK scene #this is like if in season two after TK stormed out after the farmers market- we never got the scene where he comes back #we see him storm out and the next episode they’re fine with nothing in between #this like is if the police station scene never happened - cause why do we need to see them talk about things?#TK storms out of Carlos’s place and the next we see they’re at darts-#cause we didn’t need any of that emotional bonding stuff right??#this is most like in season two when we see things get physical becuase Gabriel arrested Owen and no one knows why #and the next we see TK is coming home and we never saw them talk about it #although I would still argue this one is worse #look I’m not talking for anyone but myself here-#but the reason I know this should have been more is because those are the standards this show has set #these characters needed to have that talk-#in particular Carlos has gone through so much seemingly alone the last twenty four hours -#there’s no reason we shouldn’t have seen them have that talk #like forget the fandom for a minute- these make believe characters deserved a better conclusion to this arc than this #tarlos #carlos reyes #tk strand #okay im done #court dismissed - bring in the dancing lobsters

ive talked to a lot of ppl who have taken vyvanse now and i think ik a bit more on how i need to live on it

#1) dopamine drops on lower dosages or high dosage but in the evenings feel like hell and it wont ever stop you have to just breathe #you will stop breathing well and you wont notice it so you have to remember to breathe deeply. this helps immensely for some reason #2) you will stop processing the existence of food as a consumable thing and not just an object like Table or Cardboard. you will not want to #eat anything. you have to buy meal replacement shakes. sweetness is one of the only pleasant flavours. eat protein. eat as much protein as #you can. down those meal replacament shakes. get enough for a day. try not to into calorie deficits on vyvanse.#3) your mind will be searching for cognitively complex tasks and everything else dwarfs in comparison. dont lay down. do something.#4) you have to exercise. fully exercise at the gym not a home 20 min work out. you need to push your body right now so that you can be ok #5) nothing will be as intense and vivid and beautiful and there will be a layer of seperation between you snd reality even on a lower dosage #this is fine. this is the primary price. sunlight helps and so does doing complex tasks but you cant avoid this. remind yourself that this #is a self-induced thing and its temporary and itll fade.#6) youve been ship of theseus'd into a new person and this effect only increases later into the day. any conclusion you reach about yourself #is most likely not applicable to your non-vyvanse self.#7) carry chapstick around. keep drinking water. dry mouth starts 5 minutes after taking it #8) some of your friends have a reduced range of emotion and this makes them more stable but less capable of experiencing intense joys #and sadnesses. look at them. listen to their perspective. live like them when youre on the medication.#9) music is still gorgeous #10) you will feel very hot very fast. wear layers you can take off.#11) pick up a bow and shoot. keep shooting. keep going. shoot at least 50 arrows if you can. feel the pain in your arms and your shoulders #and then keep shooting.

I'm still thinking about that post about how female characters and especially wlw and f/f ships are treated in fandoms because I got a reply that I deleted on my post about how all the Nein were big shippers on deck for Beau and Yasha that boiled down to "haha Caleb making a tower so the useless lesbians would admit they liked each other!" and it's like. He made the tower to Beau's orders. She had already asked out Yasha, who in turn had of her own volition written Beau a phenomenal, beautiful letter instead of a poem as recommended by Jester. This is factually incorrect and obnoxiously dismissive of a genuinely great dynamic and attributes all agency to a man. When you say shit like this you sound like you are Chat GPT. No new thoughts no time actually spent analyzing a relationship dynamic just "ooh i see a woman in fiction what is the phrase most associated with this ok done onto the next task".

#whenever i post like 20 times before 8:15 am like this you need to understand it's bc my dumbass morning person body woke up at like 5:45 am #and i was like well i'm not getting back to sleep and then pounded 3 cups of coffee in an hour #just to give some context #also if i delete a reply or anon know that it's because i wanted to reply with something like this and (usually) restrained myself #which is very hard for me as an annoying person #like. it is very difficult to articulate this without sounding like some kind of well I don't see gender asshole and that isn't what i mean #but if you can only talk about wlw and women in general in overused memes that weren't funny the first time #you're clearly not like. spending time thinking about them. you can see this with repeated phrases #like the reason why repeated phrases in fanfic or in academic essays are looked down on is bc it shows you're not fucking thinking #you just grabbed what someone else said and said haha ok done i'm gonna go back to a busy day of eating markers

Hm. Sitting up for extended periods of time is having the same physical effect on me as standing up for extended periods of time does. Hoping this doesn't last because if it does that's gonna be Very Very Bad for me

oh my god. i think saving everyone from the iron throne is the crowning achievement of my entire life
