I’m not the type to freak out over matching items, but I’ll admit this was something…

Let’s look at the 200427 “just dance now” live. Even if we just focus on the first few minutes, we get several yoonmin tidbits.

First, and most obviously, the matching. As I said, I’m usually not a huge matching-items enthusiast, but this example is interesting for a few reasons. First, it’s so obvious and these shirts are somewhat unusual. (It’s not like they’re “matching” because they’re both wearing black or something common.)

There’s a lot to unpack here. They say they dressed alike on accident…but notice both of them are wearing shirts underneath the plaid ones. If they both arrived at the live and realized they matched—but didn’t want to—one or both of them could have removed their outer shirts. In fact, they do later in the live after they get warm playing the game. So even if their matching was coincidental, it’s clear neither of them minded and they felt like discussing it early on in the live.

Secondly, when Jimin asks Jin why he isn’t matching with them also, he explains that he doesn’t like to shop. Jimin and Yoongi then explain how “we” don’t like shopping either. Why a joint statement? That seems awfully familiar, even within the context of close friends.

Also interesting to note that Yoongi wore his plaid shirt again months later in his 201120 live after his surgery.

Anyway, back to the Jin-Yoongi-Jimin live…

In addition to the matching, there are a couple other noteworthy moments right at the start:

Jimin notes that Yoongi did a radio live two days before. I think this was also a teaser for Yoongi’s upcoming radio lives with each of the members. Anyway, Jimin is clearly very aware of what Yoongi has been up to, and he compliments Yoongi’s voice, which tells us he listened to the live:

Jimin also compliments Yoongi’s drawing/painting that he’d been doing lately. It seems clear from the conversation that Jimin had seen what Yoongi had been working on.

And all of this is less than five minutes into the live!

The dancing live part 2:

This is a continuation of my post about the 200427 Jin-Yoongi-Jimin live.

Within the first few minutes, we saw several little yoonmin tidbits (in addition to the obvious ✨matching✨). We’re now starting about five minutes into the live, once they begin playing Just Dance Now.

This is one of those things that’s open to interpretation, but Jimin and Yoongi just seem to gravitate to each other. Even with their dear friend Jin right there!

After some dancing, the guys get warm and the plaid shirts come off…

The body language, where their attention is focused, Yoongi tapping Jimin’s arm to get his attention, etc, etc. It’s subjective, so if you see it, you see it. And if not…fair enough!

Also worth noting: Yoongi is wearing his Y&M beanie (he owns one in gray and one in black and he has worn both many times since 2016), and Jimin is wearing a rainbow Chanel necklace. Such interesting choices when paired with their matching plaid shirts, right?

And…after the live, we got a pic of the three of them eating dinner (posted to Weverse):

About a week later, Jimin posted this pic, presumably taken that day:

The tweet says that he has been spending time lately with people who are precious to him. 👀 Well then.
