Pokemon: Shiny vs. Default, 0039-0040

I just want to note before I continue that yesterday, I requested that Vulpix be added to SV so I can use the game’s incredible shiny odds to get one, and then the trailer for the DLC showed Vulpix. Granted, it was the Kanto one, but I’m hoping the Alolan one will come too.

Okay, now we’re onto the next Moon Stone Pokemon, and honestly the worst one in the generation, Jigglypuff. Never been wild about Jigglypuff in all honesty, my introduction to this franchise was the anime, and Jigglypuff’s running gag got old very fast. On the other hand, I like Wigglytuff significantly more, as I’ve played Mystery Dungeon.

Still, let’s get going with Jigglypuff itself.

Well, right away, I’m feeling a draw here. I like the softer pink on the shiny, and I don’t care for the green eyes. It’s one of those cases of a shiny barely changing, and I like one altered colour more, and one altered colour less. So yeah, draw.

Next up, Wigglytuff.

Yeah, I feel much the same about this shiny. The change is slightly more there, and the more violet shade is good, but also I’m more attached to the base colours more because of PMD, so this will be the first sweep for draws.
