Theodore with aspd and cipa not knowing why it hurts when he hurts people, who doesn't want to hurt people but does it nonetheless because he doesn't understand how people can hurt, why it happens, what it feels like.
Theodore who wants to feel, all the time, who takes all the risks just because he's sick of not feeling anything, who cries when he realizes he's hurt the people closest to him, the only people he can empathize with, who truly matter to him, who cries for the first time and feels pain for the first time and it's not physical but it is and he hates it
Theodore who cries his eyes out in Emmeline's arms and asks them how they can love him. Emmeline who tells him she'll always live him, cus he's their son, that's what good parents do. They love you when you think you're incapable of doing it yourself.
Theodore who thinks he's a monster, and Emmeline who's shows him that he's not.

Paterson Lakes: Driver Hits 200km/h and Rams Police Car
A 27-year-old woman from Caulfield East has been arrested after allegedly driving at speeds of up to 200km/h and colliding with a police vehicle during a late-night pursuit in Paterson Lakes on Sunday. According to Victoria Police, the incident began around 10:15pm when the Air Wing observed a white Holden Astra allegedly travelling at excessive speed along Thompson Road. When ground units…

I watched Gundam F91 and...
Well that sure was a movie. And that sure was Gundam. I won't take away from it the fact that it is certainly a Gundam movie.
Yeah, this one doesn't need five pages of analysis. If you didn't know, it was supposed to be a 50 episodes series, and was cut down to a 2 hours movie. So the runner has barely left the starting blocks and both of his legs just snapped backwards. I won't dwell too much on the many problems this causes because they're all pretty self-evident: The movie moves at 200kmh in a desperate rush to get all of its plot points across, many characters get introduced and die within ten minutes, and the remaining ones don't have nearly enough screen time to get developed beyond basic archetypes.
However, I've seen many people see the movie as a missed opportunity with a lot of potential and wish that we got an actual series out of it. But frankly I don't even believe that, because what we saw of the story was derivative as hell, even by Gundam standards. The space colony Side 3 Frontier IV declared its independence and renamed itself the Principality of Zeon Cosmo Babylonia, led by the noble Zabi Ronah family. The story starts when a small squad of mobile suits from Zeon Cosmo Babylonia attacks a colony of the federation. In the ensuing chaos, Amuro Ray Seabook Arno finds himself piloting a Gundam prototype developed by one of his parents, and joins the White Base Space Ark, a federation spaceship crewed by rookies and civilians. During the attack, the young blonde friend of the protagonist Sayla Mass Cecily Fairchild meets her brother Char Dorel who's a part of Zeon Cosmo Babylonia, and it is revealed that Sayla Cecily is actually Artesia Deikun Berah Ronah, heir to Zeon Cosmo Babylonia.
And the goal of the villains is to push humanity into space so that they may become Newtypes by exterminating its population on earth. And the leader of the antagonist faction is an ambiguously sympathetic old man whereas his son is the real bad guy, a complete arsehole who makes big evil speeches...
I won't deny that it has some good elements. The old guy is an semi... quarter-interesting study of the banality of evil and the way the upper class justifies its oppression of the people (whoops, feeling my French communist genes flare up), having the aforementioned parent of the protagonist be a part of the crew is an idea with potential, especially since his sister is also there. And the fight scenes and Mobile Suits are cool but because everything is so rushed and crammed into a movie runtime, identifying which mobile suit belongs to whom is impossible. All in all, nothing that will make me post #ReleaseTheTominoCut on twitter. When it's not ripping off its own franchise, it's ripping off Star Wars, with budget Darth Vader and totally-not-the-imperial-march.
So let's not dwell on it and move on to the visuals. Animation is excellent, so you can at least enjoy it on pure spectacle (though again, it's impossible to follow because there are so many mobile suits that we haven't been given time to clearly identify). As for the actual F91 design, it's close to greatness for me, but there are several details that bring it down a lot. Like the shoulder... wings ? Fins ? Flaps ? Anyway, they stick out in a way that feels wonky. And the big grate on its lower torso is just a slab of visual noise. I do like it's animation when it goes super, great use of after-images.
I think that's it. As of writing, those reviews are close to catching up to what I'm currently watching, so I'm trying to step up the pace. However, I think the next one will take a while to review nonetheless. Because it's Unicorn. And Unicorn is a mess.
See you there!
My gundam reviews :
> Hathaway's Spark > Mobile Suit Gundam > Gundam Zeta > 0083: Stardust Memory > 0080: War in the Pocket > 8th MS Team > The Witch from Mercury > Gundam Thunderbolt > The Origin > Turn A Gundam > F91 > Gundam Unicorn > Gundam 00 > MS IGLOO > Gundam Narrative > Iron-Blooded Orphans > Gundam Wing

I’d pay for fic commissions but it would be like Herbert west driving on the wrong side of the highway 200kmh in a 1982 ford fiesta criminal negligence no license fake ID one hand on the wheel other hand monologuing into tape recorder and Dan is in the back seat
I mean, that sounds like a great time. Is Dan freaking out or is he on his ipad, being entertained by coco melon?

If we were to invest in a high speed rail corridor in Ireland, I think linking Galway, Limerick and Cork would be a great idea.
Investing in connecting those areas would help make them jointly competitive with Dublin, spreading the economy more evenly across the south and west of the country via a sort of triple metro area. It could would as a bonus alleviate the stress on Dublin's housing market. Better connectivity in the rest of the country allows for large businesses to base themselves elsewhere, creating opportunities for those areas, as well as alleviating the stress on Dublin's housing market. The concentration of the economy around the capital has focused economic opportunity around it also, meaning anyone who wants a good job os moving to Dublin, straining the city's infrastructure and housing market to the brink. So spread it out, bring the opportunities to the west and give people who want to work in higher paying sectors to base themselves in the west.
A well done HSR line (defined by speeds of 200kmh/125mph and above) could connect the 3 in around 90 mins, maybe even allowing for a direct connection to Shannon airport along the way. You could probably use the right of way of the N20 and M18 to simplify planning also.
It would never happen though. We can't even build one lousy metro line in Dublin after all.

Theodore with cipa starting in f1 and during his first season everyone's amazed at how crazy he drives, at how he goes for every gap, for every possibility until one day he crashes, and has to get out of the car and everyones expecting him to be hurt and shit but he just keeps walking and look fine except his arms bleeding and he isn't even noticing all the scrapes and bruises and just goes to do the normal routine of interviews and talk with the team but the first person who sees him yells at him to go sit down and gets a doctor and he just keeps saying I'm not hurt, nothing hurts, I'm fine.
And that's how he finds out he has cipa.
And then it's a very long time of discussions with doctors and health monitoring during races and accommodations in the car for him to be able to race again
#my paras<3#Oh i love him. I love him i love him I love him#In this au he only has cipa not aspd#200kmh chipmunks<3

D-Day (Denmark Day in our case). We’re still awaiting tyres so we reserve the room in Friedrichstadt until 6pm - very accommodating 🤔😉. We cycle the scenic route to Husum, have beer, tuna salad and ice-cream at the docks and the car is ready at 5pm - result. The man says all my rims are misshapen which could be an issue at 200kmh! We say English roads/potholes - they get it. Anyway safe to drive they say. We hit the road at 6pm and are in Aalborg by 10pm. Join the gang for a nightcap and watch the last 20 minutes of the Spain v France semi-final, the former winning 2-1. In our apartment safely and relaxing now.

Just wanted to say, I love your tag, "thoughts travel far"!
Heyya, how are you? :)
Thank you for your lovely message! It's dead-on isn't it? Thoughts travel so far, the little buggers! ;) Sometimes they meander along, taking me on a stroll, accompanying me down the memory lane, and other times they're going 200kmh on the left lane, overthinking, overtaking, as if there's no tomorrow! So much to think about and so little time!
Hope you have a great day and the thoughts travel far! ;)

Merry Christmas ey…
