Totally different note but that’s a broken heart that is slowly healing in this case through some coffee and food right ?! Like I mean I interpret this as a broken heart and comfort food to get over it but maybe she’s using it with a to me unknown romantic message
Au cours de ma vie, il m’est
arrivé, comme beaucoup, de faire de
mauvaises rencontres qui auraient pu me
conduire à me fermer aux autres, mais malgré
tout, j’ai choisi de garder le cœur et les bras
ouverts car je préfère prendre ce risque
plutôt que celui de crever d’ennui,
d’amertume et de solitude…

the sopranos premiered twenty five years ago this week
The Sopranos is an American crime dramatelevision series created by David Chase. The series revolves around Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), a New Jersey-based Italian-American mobster who struggles to balance his family life with his role as the leader of a criminal organization, which he reluctantly explores during therapy sessions with psychiatrist Jennifer Melfi (Lorraine Bracco). The series also features Tony's various family members, Mafia colleagues, and rivals in prominent roles—most notably his wife Carmela (Edie Falco) and his protégé and distant cousin Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli).
Having been greenlit in 1997, the series was broadcast on HBO from January 10, 1999, to June 10, 2007, spanning six seasons and 86 episodes. Broadcast syndication followed in the U.S. and internationally. The Sopranos was produced by HBO, Chase Films, and Brad Grey Television. It was primarily filmed at Silvercup Studios in New York City, with some on-location filming in New Jersey. The executive producers throughout the show's run were Chase, Brad Grey, Robin Green, Mitchell Burgess, Ilene S. Landress, Terence Winter, and Matthew Weiner.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential television series of all time, The Sopranos has been credited with kickstarting the Second Golden Age of Television. The series won a multitude of awards, including Peabody Awards for its first two seasons, 21 Primetime Emmy Awards, and five Golden Globe Awards. It has been the subject of critical analysis, controversy, and parody; it has also spawned books, a video game, soundtrack albums, podcasts, and merchandise. Several members of the show's cast and crew were largely unknown to the public when it began, but have since had successful careers. In 2013, the Writers Guild of America named The Sopranosthe best-written TV series of all time, while TV Guide ranked it the best television series of all time. In 2016 and 2022, the series came in first place on the Rolling Stone list of the 100 greatest TV shows of all time.
In March 2018, New Line Cinema announced that they had purchased a film detailing the show's background story, set in the 1960s and 1970s during and after the Newark riots. The film, The Many Saints of Newark (2021), was written by Chase and Lawrence Konner and directed by Alan Taylor. It starred Gandolfini's son Michael Gandolfini as a young Tony Soprano.

Brilliant had always been the used to best describe Eva, or more specifically, the most family-friendly term that those around her preferred to the alternative. Bitch. Not that she ever minded. Eva, at no point in her life, took the opinions of others seriously. Not when she had only ever been successful, intelligent, beautiful, and tenacious. In her normally correct opinion, most people were either wrong, or stupid, or both. It meant that concerning herself with such things was the most pointless endeavor of all, and her energy was best utilized in doing important work that actually mattered in the world.
All of that had mostly gone to plan, a few hiccups had to occur here and there, no life could be perfect. With the exception, of course, of last night.
She couldn’t remember it, for the most part. All Eva possessed were a few hazy memories of walking home from work, feeling an odd pain in her neck, and waking up in her own apartment, as though nothing ever happened at all. And maybe she would’ve gone on thinking that if not for the horrible headache, the unending parched feeling in her throat, the burning in her body, and the overwhelming sensitivity to the sun.
The list of ailments had been quickly dwindled down to one culprit remaining. The one, unfortunately for her, that came with no cure at all, only a kind of eternity that she certainly didn’t sign up for. Some might have found the idea appealing, but Eva was beginning to realize that whoever did this to her either understood that this would be some kind of punishment, or simply wanted to fuck with her as much as they could manage it. The fact remained true, as far as her research went: Eva was a vampire, and fuck, she was thirsty.
That drive already pushed her through the front door of the apartment complex far too early, rendering an immediate squeal from her throat, a burn on her arm, and the kind of speed she hadn’t anticipated in the run back to her own apartment. It meant patience. Or, hunting her neighbors. The second option seemed all the better as she waited in agony for the sun to set.
And then it did. Her feet carrying her to the open air without any further thoughts in her mind, the instincts pushing and pushing and pushing until she was in front of a beating heart. She could hear it thud. Experience the blood moving in the veins underneath layers of clothes and skin. Eva barely understood she was staring at a person at all, only understanding that if she didn’t drink blood now, tomorrow might be forfeit.
