Splinter, the Grey-strain Warframe

Splinter is based on a submission @choppa-of-gork, an infested summoner warframe that uses health & max health as resources for casting his abilities, making him the first ever Warframe to have neither shields nor energy. No shields was not part of the original submission but I decided to tack it on for the spice.

Health: 625 (2,500 at rank 30) Shields: N/A (N/A at rank 30) Armor: 325 Energy: N/A (N/A at rank 30) Sprint Speed: 1.05

Passive: Splinter has three passive abilities; Biomass Fission, Biomass Fusion, and Biomass Reclamation. Biomass Fission: Some of Splinter's abilities reduce or increase his max health by a percent while active. For these abilities the value of max health used in calculation is based on his "true" max health determined by his base stats & mods and not factoring arcanes, warframe abilities, or other effects which would affect "temporary" max health. Multiple instances of these abilities can be active at once, but Splinter's abilities cannot bring his health below 10% of max. If an ability would have reduced his max health below 10% it will not be cast. When an ability that reduces Splinter's max health is terminated he regains the max health which was expended to cast the ability and is healed for the same amount. Biomass Fusion: While standing near an enemy corpse Splinter can press the interaction key (default keybind X) to consume it, increasing max HP by 5% for 15 seconds and healing for the same amount. Stacks up to 5 times. Biomass Reclamation: When Splinter enters bleedout, all of his currently summoned creatures will rush to him and return their biomass to fill his revive meter. Each Fibrosarcoma fills the meter by 1%, each Chordoma fills the meter by 5%, and each Glioma fills the meter by 10%.

Ability 1: Fibrosarcoma, -10% of max health. Splinter sacrifices a mass of unformed flesh and connective tissues to summon 2 small tentacle creatures based on Deimos Tendril Drones. Each Fibrosarcoma drone has health equal to 5% of Splinter's max health and will stay near him, floating around him until an enemy comes too close. The drones fire acid spines at enemies within 30 meters, dealing 400 times X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) corrosive damage with 15% status chance every two seconds. When an enemy comes within 10 meters a drone will fling itself at them, latching onto their head and beginning to deal 200 times X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) viral damage with 25% status chance per second. Fibrosarcoma last 15 seconds or until killed.

Ability 2: Chordoma, -15% of max health. Splitting himself open, Splinter disgorges two half-formed skeletons from within himself, sacrificing a portion of his own muscle to animate them, summoning two infested hound creatures based on Predasites. Each Chordoma Predasite has health equal to 20% of Splinter's max health and will move around him with behavior similar to a standard animal companion, engaging enemies within their effective range automatically. By default the Cordoma will use a melee attack which deals 500 times X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) slash damage with 30% status chance once per second, but for enemies which the Chordoma cannot reach they will instead spit poisonous globules which deal 400 times X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) toxic damage with 30% status chance every two seconds. Chordoma last 20 seconds or until killed, and release a cloud of toxic spores that deal 100 gas damage with 50% status chance per half-second in a 6 meter radius around the location of their corpse for 6 seconds upon death or expiration.

Ability 3: Glioma, -20% of max health. With great pain, Splinter sacrifices bone, flesh, and even a portion of his vital organs to create a Glioma, a slow-moving creature based on the infested Ancient Healer and Toxic Ancient. The Glioma has health equal to 30% of Splinter's max health and will occupy an area near him while keeping several meters of distance. While active the Glioma will constantly deal 100 times X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) gas damage with 20% status chance per half-second to any and all enemies within a 7.5 meter radius of it, and once every 10 seconds the Glioma releases a pulse that heals all allies within 30 meters by 20% of their max health and reduces incoming damage by 25% for the next ten seconds. Glioma also has a harpoon attack which it can use to drag distant enemies to its feet with a 7.5 second cooldown and will perform a melee attack once every two seconds which deals 500 times X (where X is equal to the enemy's level divided by 10) toxic damage with 20% status chance. Glioma lasts for 30 seconds or until killed.

Ability 4: Teratoma, toggled ability, drains 3 health per second. While this ability is active Splinter increases his max health by 25% and wields his exalted weapon: a projection of warped, twisted flesh that extrudes one of three Organs as a weapon, with each organ having a unique behavior. Teratoma is considered a wrist-mounted secondary weapon for mechanical purposes; accepting pistol mods and able to be dual-wielded with a glaive-type melee weapon. Use alt-fire key to alternate between the three firing modes known as Organs. Milledentes Organ: An organ that uses powerful muscular contractions and pressurized fluid to launch shards of bone. Full-auto trigger with very high rate of fire at the cost of low per-shot damage and moderate accuracy. Deals even values of puncture, impact, and slash damage with above average crit & status chance. Leorugiet Organ: An organ that releases shotgun-like blasts of acidic bile propelled by pressurized air. Semi-auto trigger, deals high per-shot damage without sacrificing firing speed at the cost of high recoil and short range. Deals pure corrosive damage. Above average crit & status chance. This organ has a chance to knock down enemies at point-blank range. Iramplaga Organ: An organ that releases self-propelled spore pods which seek and destroy enemy units. Burstfire trigger, fires three slow-moving pods that home in on enemies within a 30 degree angle of their flight path. Deals pure impact damage on hit and even values of gas & viral damage in an area of effect. High damage at the cost of slow firing speed, average crit with high status chance.

Subsumed ability: Fibrosarcoma (summons one drone instead of two, casting cost is changed to 25 energy.)

Signature Weapon Thresher: A heavy greatsword made of infested bone and sinew, with vertical rows of teeth that serve as its blade. With every swing the fangs oscillate like a chainsaw, ripping apart flesh and metal. Extremely high per-hit damage at the cost of slow attack speed and below-average range for a heavy blade. Average crit & status, every hit applies a guaranteed slash status proc in additional to normal status chance. Deals roughly even values of slash, impact, and puncture damage. In Splinter's hands this weapon automatically activates Biomass Fusion on enemies it kills.

Closing Notes: All of Splinter's abilities are named after types of tumors. I do not reccomend looking any of them up. For the organs of Teratoma their names are derived from Latin and mean "thousand teeth," "Lion's roar," and "wrath plague." I wanted to give him the ability to summon a Carnis but I couldn't find the right place for it and I decided that its behavior would be a little too weird. Maybe it can be an augment mod that replaces his summoned ancient healer with a Carnis that loses healing but gains hella damage.

A good day for Da One-PercentOrks - a battle report

Played a big 40K game with my Bad Moons against a friend's Red Corsairs yesterday. A good time was had.

His homemade ruins make for better terrain than books, which was a plus. The six objectives were "Data Terminals" Bitcoin mining rigs we had to control, gaining points based on how many you had each turn

It goes without saying it was mostly a fight for the death everywhere on the map

Owing to their great wealth, Da One-Percentorks possess large numbers of heavily-armored units, including "Da Zeta Gorkanaut", two Deff Dreads, a Killa Kan squad, and six meganobz.

The Red Corsairs were a lighter force, though they included one very big knight with an alarming array of guns.

Turn one was a slugfest, possessed marines killing most of the meganobz but being krumped by Warboss Bernorke in retaliation. Ten cultists made a strong showing, gunning down half of a 25-strong boyz unit, before being charged and slaughtered by the survivors. Turn two was uneventful, with a Deff Dread and a Venomcrawler exchanging ineffective blows

Turn three brought a bigger fight, with five Corsairs and a Daemon Prince facing off against Warboss Bernorke and a Deff Dread

Mumbling something about "slashing rates," Bernorke krumped the Corsairs, while the Dread and Prince traded blows. On the Bad Moons' turn, the two disengaged, and Kamillork Bidan, pilot of Da Zeta Gorkanaut, pounded the Daemon Prince into the table.

On turn four, both sides brought in reserves, near all of which died the turn they landed. With "Tide of Traitors" and a Corsairs strategem, more cultists and chaos marines entered on my flank, but didn't last long.

Leon Grotsky, a Gretchin Revolutionary Council political officer (i.e. Runtherd), pounded his way through an entire unit of cultists, handing out a sharp beating with Da Big Red Flagg.

On turn five, the rather-lonely knight advanced and charged the Gretchin. Grotsky inspired his brothers from a position of relative safety with ideological ravings, orders to "Die for Da Revolushan!" and savage blows with Da Big Red Flagg against any who tried to flee. The knight squashed all the remaining grots.

Finally, after surviving a round of shooting with little injury, the knight was smashed in a beating from Da Zeta's Klaw of Gork. Warboss Bernorke was pleased not just by the rout of the Corsairs and the seizure of the bitcoin mining rigs, but also that the high casualties among the replaceable rank-and-file meant for fewer orks to split the loot with, and greatly lightened payroll.

BADEM - Saveti za gajenje

Badem je orašasta voćka. Osim velike vrednosti u nutricionističkom pogledu, cenjen je i u gastronomiji. Njegova vrednost je značajna kao sirovina u prerađivačkim industrijama. Najbolje uspeva u Sredozemnom klimatu.

Proizvodnja badema i njen uspeh zavise od više faktora, a to su:

Agroekološki uslovi za gajenje badema

Temperatura

Bademu je potrebno mnogo svetla i toplote u vreme dozrevanja plodova. Cveta već u januaru i cvetovi mogu propasti zbog mraza i jakih severnih vetrova. Zato je preporučljivo saditi kasnocvetajuće sorte da se izbegne nepovoljno delovanje vremenskih prilika u vreme cvetanja. Oštećenja nastaju kod nekih sorti tek pri -27 °C. Cvetovi neposredno pre otvaranja podnose temperaturu do -3,5 °C, otvoreni cvetovi i tek zametnuti plodovi stradaju na temperaturi od -1 °C do -2 °C. Badem dobro podnosi visoke temperature čak do 50 °C.

Voda

Za badem je vrlo važno da u vreme intenzivnog rasta mladica i plodova ima dovoljno padavina. Kod nas se badem retko navodnjava, mada se navodnjavanjem prinosi mogu povećati i za 40 %. Inače, badem odlično podnosi sušu.

Zemljište

Bademu najbolje odgovaraju peskovito-ilovasta ili ilovasta zemljišta, dobro drenirana, bogata humusom i mineralnim materijama. Odgovara mu neutralna, slabo kisela do slabo neutralna reakcija zemljišta. Badem ima jako razvijen koren, koji može prodirati i do 4 m dubine, pa je dobro ako je zemljište rastresito.

Položaj za podizanje zasada badema

Gaji se na različitim nadmorskim visinama. U Sredozemlju se uzgaja se do 600 m nadmorske visine. Kod nas se ne praktikuje uzgoj na visini iznad 1 000 m nadmorske visine. Razlog tome je povećana vlažnost vazduha i time i loša rodnost.

Priprema zemljišta za sadnju badema

Pre sadnje zemljište treba pripremiti dubokim oranjem na 40 cm uz ravnomerno rasipanje mineralnog đubriva . Ako će se sadnja obavljati u jesen duboko oranje trebamo izvršiti u toku leta, a za proletnju sadnju od leta do zime, ako vlažnost zemljišta to dozvoljava.

Sorte badema i podloge

Postoje slatke i gorke sorte. Gorki badem nije jestiv, ali se kultivisan koristi  za dobijanje bademovog ulja. U našem klimatu je najraširenija podloga semenjakgorkog badema, a u svetu GF677 križanac badema i breskve, mada postoji još podloga koje se mogu upotrebljavati, zavisno i od karakteristika zemljišta. Sorte koje su najprisutnije su: Non Pereil, Primorski, Princeza, Aromatični, a u svetu : Supernova, Ferragnes, Genko i Tuono. Sorte oprašivači su : Jaltinski, Ferraduel, Texas i dr.

Sadnja badema

Tamo gde se ne navodnjava zasad sadi se na 6x 4m. Tim načinom sadnje za jedan hektar je potrebno 416 sadnica. U navodnjavanom zasadu sadnja se izvodi na 4x5m. Najčešći uzgojni oblik je prostorni i špalirni. Treba voditi računa da se nabave zdrave, kvalitetne sadnice i na tome ne treba štedeti.

Rezidba badema

Kao biljka koja voli svetlost, zahteva orezivanje krošnje da bi svetlost bila što bolje iskorištena. U senci se slabo razvija. Ako nema svetlosti, unutrašnje grane ogole i smanjuje se prinos. Orezivanje se vrši kao i kod ostalih voćaka.

Zaštita badema

Protiv korova možemo koristiti herbicide: Clinic, Glyfos,Oxalis i dr. Protiv bolesti badema npr. fungicid Ziram 76 WG, a protiv insekata insekticide Calypso, Kaiso, Laser i dr. Zaštitna sredstva koristiti isključivo po savetu stručnjaka ili uputstvu proizvođača.

Nega zasada badema

Održavanje zemljišta i đubrenje nasada badema vrlo su slični takvim merama kao kod  breskve i nektarine.

Berba badema

Plodovi badema nemaju ravnomerno sazrevanje. Berba je u jesen. Prvi sazrevaju plodovi koji rastu na vanjskom delu krošnje. Kada je plod sasvim zreo puca omotač, a plodovi ispadaju. Berba može biti ručna ili mašinska, tresačima. Nakon berbe bademe treba očistiti i osušiti, pa tek onda skladištiti.

Isplativost proizvodnje badema

Pun rod dostiže u osmoj godini, a u sedmoj počinje vraćati uložena sredstva. U četvrtoj godini prinos je 500 kg/ ha, u sedmoj 1700 kg/ha, a u osmoj 2000 kg/ ha. Vek eksploatacije je 25 godina. Nakon pete godine jedno stablo rađa 10-21 kg jezgra. Cena jezgra badema je u otkupu oko 5 eura. Očekivana zarada je 4000-5000 eura. Troškovi podizanja zasada jesu visoki, ali, s obzirom na prihod i dugovečnost zasada, ovo je vrlo rentabilna proizvodnja.

Brutus the Gatecrasher warframe

Passive: When Brutus damages an Eximus unit with one of his abilities, that Eximus' powers and aura are disabled for 5 seconds.

Ability 1: Big Entrance, 25 energy. Brutus launches a barbed harpoon from his wrist and then retracts the cable with powerful actuators, bringing him to the harpoon's location. Fires a grappling hook that covers a range of 60 meters. If the hook hits an enemy they will be dealt 500 puncture damage with 100% status chance. Brutus is then pulled to the hook's location, knocking down any enemies in his path and dealing 800 impact damage with 100% status chance to all enemies in a 7.5 meter radius upon arrival at his destination.

Ability 2: Area Denial, 50 energy. Brutus winds up a heavy stomp that releases a shockwave which knocks down enemies in a surprisingly large area. The shockwave starts centered on Brutus' location and propagates at a speed of 5 meters per second for 5 seconds before dissipating. Enemies are dealt 750 blast damage and ragdolled for several seconds by the shockwave, leaving them vulnerable to melee ground finishers. Survivors have their shields depleted and armor stripped by 30%.

Ability 3: Explosive Dispersal, 50 energy. Cycle through and then rapidly deploy miniature cryo grenades, flashbang grenades, or shrapnel grenades from compact munitions deployment pods on Brutus' shoulders and thighs to disperse crowds of enemies. Tap to select between three grenade types, hold to deploy. When activated Brutus deploys 4 grenades every quarter-second for one second (for a total of 16 grenades without ability mods) which explode upon contact with an enemy or after a 4 second delay. Grenade deployment rate cannot be altered by mods but duration will affect grenade count by allowing more deployment ticks. Grenades are scattered in a 5 meter radius of Brutus as they deploy. Damage from grenade detonation always staggers enemies but does not cause self-stagger to Brutus. Cryo Grenades: Upon detonation cryo grenades deal 250 cold damage to all enemies within a 7.5 meter radius, and create a 10 meter radius patch of cryo hazard which deals 75 cold damage per half-second for 7.5 seconds. Damage from Cryo Grenades has 100% status chance. Flashbang Grenades: Upon detonation flashbang grenades deal 250 radiation damage with 100% status chance to all enemies within a 10 meter radius and blinds enemies within 25 meters. Blinded enemies are vulnerable to melee finishers and susceptible to stealth damage bonus for 15 seconds. Shrapnel Grenades: Upon detonation shrapnel grenades deal 300 slash damage with 100% status chance to all enemies within a 15 meter radius and strips 30% of enemy armor.

Ability 4: Riot Shield, 75 energy. Creates a barrier that protects Brutus from all damage in a 55 degree blocking angle in front of him. Lasts for 20 seconds or until the barrier's health is depleted. The Riot Shield starts with a base health of 3,750 and additional health equal to 500% of Brutus' modded armor. Upon activation, the shield is invulnerable for 4 seconds; incoming damage that is absorbed during the invulnerability period is converted and added to the shield's health. Holding the ability key for Riot Shield while it is active will cause the shield to self-destruct, dealing blast damage equal to its remaining health in a 20 meter, 90 degree cone in front of Brutus.

Subsumed ability: Area Denial.

Signature Weapons Drover: A dual-mode shotgun-like tool originally used for breaching armored walls and doors that Brutus claimed as his signature firearm. Primary fire mode is held-trigger wide-coverage beam with a maximum reach of 30 meters which deals roughly even values of impact, puncture, and slash with very high crit at the cost of low status. Alternate fire launches a ricocheting orb of energy that deals pure radiation damage while bouncing between enemies with average crit and status. When wielded by Brutus this weapon's alt-fire gains additional bounces. Isolator & Demolisher: The Isolator shield uses a magnetic repulsion field to dampen the impact of projectiles before they collide with it, minimizing the force of impact. Meanwhile a laterally oscillating magnetic charge moving along the blade of the Demolisher axe makes it cleave through metals cleanly. A sword-and-shield melee weapon with a moderate balance of speed and per-hit damage, high status chance at the cost of low crit. Deals mostly slash and moderate magnetic damage at the cost of very low puncture and impact. When wielded by Brutus every projectile blocked by the Isolator shield restores some of Riot Shield's health while it is active.

Closing Notes: I wouldn't say Brutus ended up being one of my favorites but he was still enjoyable to put together. I have some doubts about his balancing.
