Just realized Andre Santana is literally the "Came back wrong" trope. For 5 years Michele thought he was dead, but he was not, but it still took her a year to get him back and when she did he was wrong compared to before.

why am i (person obsessed with a handful of netflix shows that failed to break containment) forced to see squid game and wendsday and all those in the tags for said shows to such a degree i can barely find any content at all from the shows i'm actually looking for scattered amongst all the big name stuff? does not help that the names of these shows must be differentiated with 'netflix' in the tag bc they're common words. is this tumblr sucking or people over tagging the fuck out of shit?

hi if you're looking for sapphic netflix shows that got a full run, check out 3%!!! it's not a Romance show but for 2/4 seasons there's a main wlw couple (unlabeled), as well as awesome representation in general. off the top of my head, there is a trans woman who deals with absolutely no discrimination despite the horrible world, main disabled character whose story is told with detail and care, and just so many interesting and likable individuals with their own problems and motivations. the show, despite kind of seeming like a basic dystopian concept at first, is creative and thoughtful and just plain FUN. the worldbuilding ohhhhh man! and there's a mean milf! it's from brazil but you can watched english dubs if you need that for auditory processing, AND the main actress bianca comparato actually recorded her dialogue in english in addition to the original portuguese. cw for some dark themes and events, but not much worse than most adult sci fi dramas. and it actually has an optimistic ending despite the dystopia, which i super appreciate. check it out!!!

i'm rewatching season 2 and listen, listen Michele and Ezequiel have such a fucked up but also equally interesting dynamic I fucking love watching it. no not in a romantic or ship way just in a gaslighting vs manipulating way. those two are just messed and fucked up characters its amazing to watch and a fucking shame we didn't get more
