Blades is still talking about his boyfriend or something with Dani when Heatwave and Kade finally return, the latter being held up by the scruff of his shirt in the former's hand.

"Found him," Heatwave announces, giving Kade a little shake despite the human's loud protests.

"Oh, put him down," Dani lightly chastises, crossing her legs from where she's perched on Blades' shoulder. "He's not a kitten."

"I can't put him down," Heatwave snaps, seeing a little vision of Kade run away again in the corner of his vision. Wow, thanks. There's absolutely no way I saw that coming again. "He keeps running away like a sparkling!"

"Some of us aren't thirty feet tall, you know-" Kade starts to argue.

“Forty,” Heatwave corrects automatically.

Kade blinks, before shaking his head and recovering. “Fine. Some of us aren't forty feet tall-“

“You are not,” Blades interrupts, putting his servos on his hips. “Are you kidding me? Boulder is 40 feet, and they’ve got a whole head on you!”

Whatever rebuttal Heatwave might’ve responded with is drowned out by Kade’s screeching laughter.

Heatwave's shoulders rise to his audials, but another vision in the corners of his optics warns him against throwing Kade as far as he possibly can into the forest.

"Catch," he snarls at Blades, tossing Kade at him instead. Blades scrambles to grab him before he hits the ground. Heatwave's turned around already, but the little beat of relief in Blades' field is proof Kade isn't dead.

He's still laughing, though.

C6 Zhongli my pride, my joy, my beloved! Doesn't matter to me that he's not technically a DPS, his meteor clears mobs faster than I can say "tian dong wan xiang." And also pairing him with my C2 Xianyun is a blast as well :]

I swear he's not left my team since getting him; not having him in the party for open-world shenanigans is like going out without pants on haha.

Other than him I also enjoy playing Navia and C1R1 Arlecchino, so I'd say they're my sub-mains~

Lars: Normally he's not the biggest fan, but he reads your expression and decides to pull you closer. He rests his head against your shoulder, "Rough day, huh?" Will play with your hands or toy with your fingers as he waits for you to calm down

You checked this list in your hand one more time. Doing your best to memorize it before you walked into an unfamiliar store. The store was mostly empty, leaving you to meander the isles to find the extended list you held. As you turned the corner on the coffee isle, you bumped into a warm but solid frame practically bouncing off and tripping backward. The figure grabbed your elbow steading you easily you heard a low chuckle.

“Whoops! Sorry about that” A voice followed the chuckle.

Once you had your balance back you stepped back and looked up more then a few inches as what or who you ran into. Oh fuck. He’s gorgeous.

“I am so sorry” you started.

“Hey no worries, i was buried in my phone and didn’t even see you.” he smiled.

That instantly calmed you. The figure you had ran into was kinder than you had anticipated.

“I’m Nate” he stuck the same hand that had caught you out as he introduced himself.

You gave your name and smiled taking his hand and shaking it, his hand fully swallowed yours.

“Nice to meet you Nate”

“Likewise” he smiled bigger. “You seem lost”

You nodded and chuckled a little.

“I am extremely unfamiliar with this store, I live about half way across town”

Nate nodded. “i’m not busy if you’d like some help shopping”

The corner of his mouth ticked up in a smirk as your cheeks flooded with color.

“Are you sure? I dont want to be a bother”

“Not at all, do you have a list?”

Handed it over you smiled up at him.

“Thank you so much”

Nate gave a small but sincere nod.

“Follow me this way”

He walked off visibly slow in his gate so you could follow with ease.

“So, Nate, tell me about yourself” you started in after a few paces.

“Oh gosh, what do you want to know?” he chuckled again taking a left turn down an isle.

“Well first of all what job lets you be shopping in the middle of the day on a Thursday”

Nate paused and looked over at you.

“In fear of this coming out the way it’s about to, do you really not know who i am?” he asked.

You furrowed your brows and tilted your head to side a little before shaking your head.

“Do you watch hockey?” he asked a little quieter.

Your eyes slowly went wider as your lips parted slightly.

“you got it” he smiled again and you watched it as the smile reached his eyes.

“Oh my god wow”

Nate fully laughed his time grabbing something from the shelf plopping it in your basket.

“It’s really nice to meet you” he said with a softer more genuine tone.

Nate rambled on and off the rest of the time he helped you, slowly moving closer to you as you walked up and down the isles talking.

“I really appreciate you helping me with this”

“Anytime really” he said scanning your items for you.

“Can i take you to get a coffee or something?”

Nate looked up and nodded.

“I’d like your number as well if that’s okay”

Ooohhh okay so my most favourite musical of all time is the Rocky Horror Picture Show, I genuinely watch it so often it’s absurd sometimes I’ll put it on to go to sleep to!!!! So naturally I listen to that soundtrack a ton!!!!

I also listen to songs from Something Rotten (specifically the Christian Boyle songs), the a Chicago soundtrack, Michael in the Bathroom from Be More Chill is played often lol, Repo! The genetic opera songs show up a lot too, the Heathers musical is everything to me and also the Beetlejuice musical is so so so good I belt Say My Name all the fucking time it annoys people cuz I can’t sing lol, I also listen to the little shop of horrors soundtrack too (also there’s a version of Grow For Me by Jeremy Jordan that just GETS me idk I love Jeremy Jordan his voice is so good for what)

For that Hermit Permit uquiz I think I channeled all my teenage-self's frustration from my first attempt at getting my learner's permit where I failed the test because of a question that went like "When driving behind another vehicle in town, what is a safe distance to keep between the vehicles?" and the answers were like A) 20 feet, B) 3 car lengths, C) 30 feet, D) a safe distance
