SYBOULETTE'S CANDY NURSERY CONVERTED TO THE SIMS 2 🍭

hi everyone! @syboubou released their candy nursery set some time back in april to celebrate the release of ts4's growing together expansion pack, and i DESPERATELY wanted it for ts2! it's so, so adorable! so i did what i do, and almost two months later... here we are! i'm finally done converting the ENTIRE set! 🥳💃🏽

altogether there are 23 buy items, many of them functional, and 3 build assets: 2 wallpapers, 1 carpet floor. i'm immensely pleased with how it all turned out! it should pair well with my dreamy toddler conversions (linked above) and also my 4t2 conversion of madlen's kei baby care kit!

credits go to @syboubou for the amazing original set! it's simply perfection! 💝

there are two versions in the download below: a merged version, and an unmerged version. yes, the download is just THAT big. please pick only one! a collection file has also been prepared for convenience's sake.

things to note

a readme.txt is also included in the download!

the changing table does not actually come with a bin. so unless you place the decorative trash bin next to it, your sims will be throwing their trash into the void.

the crib is unanimated. i tried my best but the mapping and the way the model was made simply would not accomodate any animations without looking even worse 😫

the dresser is just decor. i use the gussy up mod in my game so my sims rarely use wardrobes. plus, the original dresser's structure made it impossible to be animated 😅

the way that the playmat works in the previews above is actually as a rug. i made an invisible recolor of the sims 2 store playmat (included in the download) and layered it over the decorative one so that it's 'functional'! if you just want the playmat as a rug, you can delete this.

the toddler bed is cloned from @themediocresulk's toddler beds as pet beds so that it's less buggy and your toddlers can get in or out whenever you want them to! you may want to grab this mod so that they gain more motives.

4t2 SleezySlakkard Timber walls in AL Darkwood (part 1?)

Note: I use Dreadpirate×Gunmod's lighting mod, so the walls may look more yellow than with other lighting mods.

I've edited the textures long time ago, but now I got around to optimize the textures with SimPE (because Homecrafter makes the textures look crunchy). This part consists of a basic horizontal timber and left + right struts and I recolored it in AL Darkwood. For the plaster base, I used Cyclonesue's "Medieval off-white plain daub" texture

May I ask where I can find additonal converted 4t2 Portobello Road Walls and Curio Walls. They are both my very favorites but I have been trying to search for them for days but all I get are sims 4 results. I have only played sims 2 since it came out. Love it. Thank you so much.

If you are referring to the Sims 4 Portobello Road walls and Curio walls by Tilly Tiger, they were converted by Deatherella. It just so happens that I am using them in my new lot as seen above for you all.

The link for the Curio walls is on the SimPearls website. I am still hunting for the original post for the Portobello Walls. I am not sure if you are a member there, let me know and if not I will find out from Debbie if I can share the SimFileShare link to both sets or if she has a link on her tumblr account or can create one. I have tried to find them on Tumblr with no luck.

If you are then I will guide you to the pages on the SimPearls site when I have found both.

BOY do I have a BIG set for you; I'm sorry @sims4t2bb for giving you tons of work this week!

This set contains basically every wall from TS4. I have included collection files for you to be able to pop in get the right walls as you see fit.

It is recommended that if you play with my defaulted walls, is to take the defaults out as there will be duplicates, I will update in the future maybe...

It pairs lovely with the entire floor collection that I have made and uploaded and updated previously!

Collection files include floors AND walls (and any items that I have converted and you have in your game so far)

Thanks to @tvickiesims and @platinumaspiration for helping with some walls / floors for some of the sets,

I have included already uploaded walls from the converted sets that I have uploaded. So you will have to delete the duplicates if you have the packs too!

Unswitchable Switch - 4t2 Base Game Conversion

This is another tiny TS4 base game conversion, but I really like light switches, soooo... 😅

I didn't think two colors was enough, so it now comes in 10 12 15 colors. Most of them are Valkyrie colors; a couple I just threw in there to round out what I thought I'd use (yes, yes I will use multiple shades of green light switches, thank you for asking). I also removed the shine.

A numbered swatch is included (mesh and 02 are the original TS4 colors if you're a purist). You'll find them under Wall Hangings for $0.

4t2 Smaller Rustic Siding - 50 Colors

My first 4t2 wallpaper conversion. Yay!! After some time without being able to install Sims4Studio, I finally had success and decided to convert these wallpapers called Smaller Rustic Siding, which I wanted for TS2 and I can finally have them and you too if you want. I didn't find in my search if anyone had already converted them previously, so if so, now there will be one more lol. Anyway, enjoy!!

🦋 4t2 Sheer Curtains & Couch + Rug Recolors 🍓

happy wednesday! here is the cutest lil set for you all. :] i’ve been obsessed with these curtains by pluto-sims ever since he released them! i was just intimidated for the longest time bc they’re transluscent (and i’ve never done curtains before), but it was actually really easy to do! just involves some good ol’ txmt editing. there’s a slaved two-tile and three-tile version. i’ve also included lustrousims’ perfectly plush recolors on simsco’s mesh as well as yusims’ colorful fruit rug on the IKEA PS rug. please let me know if there’s any issues, enjoy!~ ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

Defaulted all of the GLS wood walls to play nice with ceilings, made addons so that each of the other woods has all of the trim options available - except the Zebra Wood, that one does not have the leather inlay paneling option. Shown in GLS Light. 5 wood colors, 4 trim options, & 4 inlay options, mixed & matched.

I would like to say many thanks to @lordcrumps for extracting the original TS4 textures that I worked from for the following items.

Recolored 2 TS4 stone floors & a TS4 concrete floor in Citrontart Neutrals palette (12 colors), recolored a TS4 brick floor in Neural Network Darks (27 colors).

Recolored 1 BG carpet texture in Neural Network Brights (27 colors), 1 BG carpet texture in Neural Network Lights (27 colors), & 3 TS4 carpets in Neural Network Lights.

Recolored 1 TS4 lino in Neural Network Brights & 2 TS4 Linos in Neural Network Lights.

Recolored 2 TS4 Paneling walls in MM Woods (14 colors) & converted a TS4 floor tile to a wall Tile in Neural Network Brights (27 colors).

Recolored 1 TS4 tile in Neural Network Brights. Created 4 entire other tile patterns by screenshotting the Home Depot; "Classic Black" is Neural Network Lights on black tile (but I typed "darks" in the item description, I'm sorry but I'm not changing it, sucks to suck), "Vintage White" is Neural Network Brights on white tile, "Harmonia" is Neural Network Darks on white tile, & "Stella" is white stars on Neural Network Dark tiles. (27 colors each.)

Recolored 3 TS4 Wood floors in MM Woods (14 colors).

4t2 [Sooky] Cottage Wall Paneling - Half Wall!!

The second part to the Cottage Walls from [Sooky]! Again, all credit goes to her for making these lovely walls. I am finally able to finish these up. :) This time i have a merged version available if you want them all.

4t2 conversion of syboulette's little dino kids bedroom [download - sfs folder]

i think this might be the most beautiful @syboubou set i've converted to date, every square inch of it is absolute adorable CUTENESS and i could not resist! i LOVE IT! i hope you guys enjoy this as much as i enjoyed converting it 💕 there are a total of 25 items and 8 wallpapers (which each have left/right variants!)

this set is meant to pair nicely with my previous conversion of syboulette's dreamy toddler set! and the addons found here.

unlike my previous conversions, this set is large enough--and has enough recolors--that i made both a merged and unmerged version of it. please only pick one, they will conflict!

The 'Diplo toy' is not decorative, it can be played with like a regular toy from the toybox! It's cloned from AlmightyHat's buyable version of the base game toys 😻

'Dresser' and 'Dresser Small' are a hallway table and endtable, with the smaller version being repo'd to the larger.

'Ivy Bed Decor' and 'Bed Blanket' must have moveobjects and snaptogrid off to be placed properly.

Set of 17 custom brick walls on a template converted by LordCrumps from ts4.

Originally shared on GoS for Unfinished Business 2023.

Some of these are original recolors, while some were extracted from @lordcrumps default replacement walls for Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden, but have been edited to make sure the bricks align perfectly, since this was an issue with the original walls from sims 4.

I didn't know what they were called in sims 4, so I named the set after the walls they were replacing in sims 2.

Credits: EA and LordCrumps for the template I used as a base, as well as for the recolors from LordCrumps' default replacement files that I turned into custom walls.
