[AU] 4☆Town: BirdTown & Headcanons

The long awaited 4*Town AU is finally here! I honestly forgot I had this in my drafts. Although I’m not so active in the fanbase anymore, I do want to share this in case if I don’t return any time soon. But the designs of each member may still be in development. So enjoy!

Also, if I do return to the 4*Town fanbase and expand on this AU, I might add more headcanons to this post in the future.

About BirdTown is an AU where each 4Town member is a bird species linked with their spiritual and symbolic meaning based on personality. All members are able to shapeshift into their bird and they have their own outfits based off of them which will be posted later in the future. I’m still working on their designs!

The personality traits are part of my headcanons for all members but they are specifically linked with the bird itself.

NOTE: This AU is only made for fun just to get an idea of what bird each member would be related to. A good portion of the headcanons are a bit random but they are created to closely fit with the members.

Robaire - Indian Peacock

Personality: outgoing, confident, friendly, dramatic, expressive

Symbolism: royalty, confidence, strength, power, divinity, respect, honor, beauty

Headcanons

✰ Robaire is an absolute show-off; like the peacock, he’s the type to constantly put on a show by expressing himself with what he does. One thing Robaire and peacocks have in common is being able to attract others.

✰ His outfit and feathers match his signature color but still has similar colors to the Indian peacock.

✰ 100% a Charmer

✰ He’s somehow able to fly with his big ass tail and he loves carrying people bridal style when he does.

✰ Robaire is romantic and an absolute flirt. He can become a tease by brushing you with his own tail feathers or revealing his entire chest if you do manage to become his soulmate.

✰ He sometimes even bounces his pecs 😳

(it’s rare for him to do that publicly because his fans go absolutely apeshit when he does that)

✰ If you do tend to stare at Robaire (specifically his chest, abs, feathers, etc.) for too long, he would say things like “My eyes are up here mon amour.” or “See something you like?” This man likes to tease you moments before you snap out of it [if you get flustered, he finds it cute so don’t worry about apologizing].

✰ Robaire can be extra, but he means well. He doesn’t do this in an arrogant manner.

✰ He can sometimes be dramatic, sometimes in order to gain the band their attention; if any of the other members pluck at least one of his feathers, he will either act like he’s in pain or release a full out moan [Robaire mostly does this jokingly]

✰ But the chances of him moaning are low since he only does that when the feathers are pulled too hard.

[T would probably yank the feathers on purpose just to get him to moan 😭]

*in a whiny voice* “Broooo, be careful with the feathers!”

“Dude, I didn’t even pluck them that hard!”

✰ Robaire can be overprotective with his tail but he doesn’t mind if anyone wants one of his feathers as long as they don’t overdo it. He will tell them to be careful because he is sensitive.

✰ Speaking of his tail, he has a big one 👀

✰ The tail length is around 6’2” if you count his full body (I think he would be around 5’9”). Because Robaire is still a human, his tail is longer than the average length of a peacock.

✰ When touching his tail, it usually feels soft. This man takes care of himself 👍

✰ When Robaire opens his tail feathers, he will do a “mating call” (specifically just starts singing) to grab people’s attention, especially if he finds someone he likes or his future soulmate. If his target is uninterested or annoyed, he will eventually stop.

✰ Robaire can still somehow dance whether his tail is opened or not, but it becomes more challenging due to the extra weight.

Jesse - Mountain Bluebird

Personality: Intelligent, territorial, patient, gentle

Symbolism: Joy, fertility, loyalty, fulfillment, hope, prosperity, serenity

Headcanons

✰ Jesse is a gentle, but slightly overprotective soul. Bluebirds almost enjoy people’s company as long as they’re not a threat to their territory.

✰ His outfit is covered in different shades of blue, mixed with white and a little bit of cream.

✰ Usually, Jesse would wear light teal sapphire jewelry.

✰ His forearms would usually be covered in paint but they have small little patterns that resemble a mini version of his feathers.

✰ His kids absolutely LOVE playing with his wings. They sometimes even use them as blankets whenever Jesse lets them sleep in his room.

✰ Jesse would sometimes carve little drawings into trees. Besides being able to do pottery, he is an artist.

✰ Jesse’s feathers are definitely soft, especially after he takes a shower and dries himself.

✰ He’ll let you touch his wings but he might start blushing if you end up touching around his marginal covert feathers. He gets caught off-guard by it and he may be a bit ticklish in that region.

✰ The size of Jesse’s wings are large enough to cover up most of his whole body.

✰ His feathers can puff up when he’s in a flustered, alert, or embarrassed state.

✰ If you were to be his soulmate, he finds it adorable when you bury your face in his chest or his wings 😭💕 It makes him feel safe and it urges him to protect you at all costs.

✰ He would sometimes make gifts for you! (Decorated cups, mugs, some of his feathers, etc.)

✰ While he’s alone, he loves singing with other birds.

✰ He has the ability to mimic some bird species, usually by his whistling.

✰ Jesse can also be as extra as Robaire, but only to a degree. He can be neutral about what fits with his style and tries not to do too little or too much.

✰ He loves the rain! If he finds out you also love the rain, he’ll offer you to dance with him 👀 Jesse can dance without the rain but he has a thing for it (unless it’s heavy rain cuz he’ll get fussy)

✰ We all know Jesse smells like literal milk chocolate and wet rocks right? His scent is all over his body, including his feathers. It rarely leaves him.

✰ Speaking of rocks, he has a habit of skipping them in lakes while he’s either bored or watching the view.

Tae Young - White Dove

Personality: Friendly, loyal, empathetic, gentle

Symbolism: Love, peace, freedom, renewal, transformation, hope

Headcanons

✰ Tae Young’s a sweetheart, no exceptions… UNLESS you piss him off; he can spit out a handful. Doves are usually gentle and friendly as they represent a symbol of love, peace, renewal, and spirituality.

✰ This is a bit of an obvious pick since Tae fosters injured doves. But he definitely gets along with them and other birds. He also gets along with other animals 💕

✰ Tae’s whole outfit mainly consists of white and pastel shades of pink.

✰ Similar to Jesse and doves, Tae is also gentle for the most part.

✰ He is usually quiet but doesn’t mind a quick chat with a few people.

✰ As much as he is usually not the type to be aggressive, he can get irritated easily when people test him, including those who treat him like a child.

✰ Definitely an animal guy 🐾 He has the ability to charm other animals. He’s kind of like the Pied Piper of New York who was able to summon raccoons with a flute.

✰ His wings are mostly white but the feather tips are pink!

✰ Some of the feathers on his wings look so fluffy, they almost resemble fur rather than actual feathers.

✰ Tae has a thing for hanging out in trees. One time, he tried rescuing someone’s cat from a tree. It took a few tries but he eventually got in the hang of his own grip.

✰ If you tend to spot him in places like parks, do expect him to sometimes feed birds he comes across.

✰ Just like Jesse, he loves singing with birds alone. He may have a few of them sitting on his shoulders or his head.

✰ Bro somehow manages to be friends with the whole entire forest regardless of how much effort he does.

✰ Tae can get startled easily; when in this state, his feathers puff up similar to Jesse’s.

✰ He has a thing for lotus flowers! If he manages to give you one, TAKE IT.

✰ Literally the only reasons why he has doves on his head is because 1. His hair is so damn soft and 2. He would occasionally put seeds up there while feeding them.

✰ Similar to Jesse, Tae makes gifts for you! However, he would occasionally send little messages, especially if he’s willing to hang out with you.

Aaron T. - Scarlet Macaw

Personality: Playful, active, outgoing, energetic, affectionate

Symbolism: Power, visibility, good fortune, grace, ease, peace, trust

Headcanons

✰ Aaron T. is an absolute goofball and very extroverted. Scarlet macaws are known to be energetic and can get affectionate when being with loved ones.

✰ Bro’s outfit and wings are FILLED with bright colors. Very colorful and stylish ✨ he’s like a walking rainbow.

✰ It is uncommon for this man to be quiet for at least a day. If you see him being more than quiet than usual, then something is wrong. Unless, he is alone or just bored.

✰ T can be loud at times, but he can pipe down a bit after annoying the shit out of people, especially if he is annoying any of the other band members.

✰ Just like Robaire, he can be a show-off with those bright ass colors on his wings. They pop out a lot better during the day.

✰ He Doesn’t mind getting messy, but still takes care of himself.

✰ Speaking of messy, HE CAN PAINT. I can picture him doing paintings for and with his siblings.

✰ He loves taking people out on flights! Keep in mind, he can and will go fast. That’s his usual speed but T can go slower or faster when asked.

✰ T may go overboard at times while flying but he makes sure anyone he takes out is safe.

[This man is not up for lawsuits or jail time 😭]

✰ I can picture him flying with all of his siblings. Just like Jesse’s kids, they love playing with his wings! Except, they’re a lot more energetic. They would be constantly begging T to fly with him until he accepts it. But trust me, it is rare for him to say no.

✰ He can be a bit of an attention seeker; everyone can be minding their own business and then T would try something like balancing himself on a skateboard with only his hands or try out anything he finds on the internet. He does this publicly, but mostly with the band group because he already knows how his fans behave.

✰ Expect him to be a drama king like Mr. Robaire over here; a drink or something he’s enjoying spills on him or the ground, he’s devastated. He’ll be dead inside.

✰ He sometimes takes his siblings on flights! Not anything too extreme though.

✰ Like Tae, T has a thing for trees. Like he has no problem going up a tall tree and then proceeding to hang upside down or do several positions on the branches.

✰ T can be very impressionable when trolling the fuck out of people. He won’t be saying shit like the n word though because that’s an immediate death wish 💀

Aaron Z. - Victoria Crowned Pigeon

Personality: Shy, territorial, docile, intelligent

Symbolism: Prosperity, fertility, transformation, peace, faith

Headcanons

[This was a bit of a hard pick since there is not a lot of bird species I could find with the personality that matches him. So to any Aaron Z fans, sorry if you don’t like this bird or if you don’t think it fits him.]

✰ Aaron Z. can be a bit shy and territorial at times, but can still handle socializing with people. Victoria crowned pigeons are usually docile by nature and can be gregarious (sociable).

✰ He has a crown! Each side contains a set of crest feathers.

✰ Z’s outfit is covered in shades of dark blue to purple and hints of burgundy.

✰ His feathers are shiny, especially at night ✨

✰ When they’re soaked, they look even more beautiful. Luckily, the feathers aren’t shiny enough to blind you if he’s ever surrounded by light.

✰ Z would be the type to be annoyed sometimes when Robaire gets extra with his looks, even in situations where it is unnecessary.

✰ HE LETS YOU GIVE HIM HEADPATS 💕 btw, if you ever give him head pats or play with his dreadlocks, he’ll lose his shit (in a good way). Now that’s when you bring out the sweet side of him. He’s almost like a cat because don’t get me started on the kind of noises he makes 😭

✰ The tips of Z’s dreadlocks are dyed white and purple to match his feathers.

✰ I can see Z and Robaire combining their feathers and swapping their outfits. They’re both similar but Robaire shows a little more skin than Z.

✰ Similar to Robaire, Z is also a charmer.

✰ His voice; borderline, ANGELIC. I can see him doing a little serenade with you, kind of like that one scene from The Book Of Life

✰ He definitely takes care of his own feathers [All of the members do usually take care of their feathers]

'Tis the season…..for wintery 4*Town content. I’ve been busy with Uni so don’t mind how sketchy these all look but I’ve been itching to draw these boys again :)))

Its a bit all over the place so I’ll walk you through it

So at the top we have Jesse smoking because that’s a hc of mine for some reason 🤷‍♀️ It’s a bad habit of his, he’s not proud of it and he tries to keep it hidden from the others

He’s unfortunately caught by Tae one time and have a bit of a talk about stress, expectations and Jesse does feel better afterwards

Then on the right we have the gang huddled outside, waiting for their tour bus in the cold. And I’m not from Canada but I know winters are brutal over there so I drew them all in matching puffer coats to keep warm because of course I would :)

And Tae is wearing a fluffy pink faux fur hat because that just makes sense ☝️

Furthermore he’s taking care of his doves and cuddling them in their pen he had built, even when it’s freezing cold. Poor guy fell asleep and had the others worried sick looking for him.

He caught a cold the day after but is luckily coddled by his bandmates (as he should be)

And another hc of mine is that Jesse is an insomniac so he gets tired during the day and leans on the others to rest for a little bit

Last but not least we have Tae and Aaron T. building a red panda snowman in honor of the unforgettable night they all had performing in Toronto 🐾

taeyoung headcannons

i've recently been a bit obsessed with tae so i figured why not share some stuff with the class!

a whole bunch of bullet points below the cut...

a comfy clothes advocate. its not comfy? its not fashion. hoodies, big jackets, baggy overshirts; you name it, he wears it

speaking of, he lives in corduroy trousers. honestly, why be uncomfortable these days? he’s already got so much work to do

he also never wears black. he feels too edgy and out of place when he wears it. plus, that was t’s thing when they were thirteen

tae absolutely adores animals. yes, we know this. but you must understand: he LOVES them. he picks up stray birds, chases after foxes, talks to squirrels. growing up with a dog really brings something out in you

his favourite animals are bats though, closely followed by dogs. something about baby bats just gets to him

despite the whole 4town shabang, tae’s still an introvert. he doesn’t really like being the centre of attention, and it took almost their entire first tour to be somewhat okay on stage. why do you think he doesn’t have a single solo line in any of their songs?

he’s very upfront though. if someone’s out of line for whatever reason he won’t hesitate to present his thoughts. it’s not in a harsh way or anything, but he automatically announces a differing opinion, even if it’s just that someone thinks that minecraft is bad

yeah that’s right, he’s a gamer. he wouldn’t call himself good at video games but he grew up with a ds… and he plays a lot with z and jesse

tae bleaches his hair. yep. you heard me. that blonde is not his natural hair colour… kind of

tae’s hair is naturally brown with an assortment of random blonde strands. out of the band, aaron t is the only one to have seen this in person since tae’s been dyeing it since he was fourteen. t loved how it looked back then, but tae despised it, hence the bleaching (fanart coming soon i got you)

during that fourteen-year-old era, tae also dyed his tips bright pink… and he wants to die his hair green or blue one day

this man was a straight A student, like, he cried when he got a B in maths once and t got an A*

(using an english school system) tae took history, geography, german and psychology (and of course english, maths and sciences) in high school. english was by far his favourite subject, and he reflects his love for language through writing a lot of 4town’s lyrics

you guys both start your morning kind of early, like 8:30 or 8:00

he’s usually the first one to wake up and like this might sound a bit corny but he just looks at you while you sleep

BYE THAT SOYNDS WEIRD BUT JTS SO SWEET

he’ll like caress his hand on your cheek, if your drooling well best believe he’s gonna wipe that shit right up

then he’s gonna get up and get you both some water cause why start the day dehydrated he says

so at this point if your a light sleeper you might be up already but if your a deep sleeper or like you just didn’t wake up yet then he’s gonna wake you up in the most sweetest way possible

he will kiss your knuckles and up your arm to your jaw, and he won’t won’t stop till you wake up

when you do wake up he’ll encourage you to drink your water and you’re still confused cause you just woke up

he’ll ask you how you slept, how do you feel, what do you want to do that day

but you don’t really respond much cause your tired but he likes watching you in your tired state, it’s cute

at this time you guys have just gotten up and out of bed and started getting ready for your little walk in the park

you guys take a shower together, brush your teeth together, he watches you put on your clothes, bro lemme tell you there’s way to much tension

what he usually does is he helps you out on your lotion…dawg it’s so much tension

he’ll put lotion on your legs and then it’s the way he looks up at you that makes you so nervous (i’m nervous writing this)

he then starts to massage and put lotion on your back and it’s one of the best feelings your ever gonna feel

and he’ll ask you “does it feel good?” “am i squeezing your hard?”

the whole morning it’s like cute little flirting or like teasing, the both of y’all can’t handle it

you guys make the executive decision to go on a walk and then to go get something to eat but he makes sure you both eat a little something before you guys leave

you both arrive at the park and walk around for a while

you guys talk about so many things on your walk, most of the things being about your future, maybe he’ll talk about the band a little bit

he might share some song lyrics with you, your like his best friend so he’s gonna share anything that’s on his mind with you

he doesn’t have to worry about putting up a façade

but if you guys run into any fans he’s very sweet to them but he also gets to make the interaction very quick

he doesn’t want his time with you to be ruined

for lunch you guys go to this cute little restaurant you’ve always been going too

like for your third date you guys went there and y’all are cool with the owners there

i feel like he’s the type to make you order more food

he’ll be like oh okay and then order it to go

like anything you want it’s yours shawty

but anyways while you guys wait for your meal to come out he’s gonna hold your hand and caress your thumb

y’all are there for a good minute but when you do leave you both ready to go to sleep

on the car ride back he might get a few calls pertaining the group or something but he tries to make them quick because he doesn’t want to be rude

but you let him know it’s fine

when you guys return home you change into some comfy clothes and just lounge around the house

maybe y’all make out for a lil while

you guys probably watch some movies, listen to music together, just hang out and talk

you guys start planning out what y’all want for dinner

and you guys have such a set schedule that sometimes Aaron T wants to come over sometimes just to have dinner sometimes

you guys don’t mind but it’s like the 6th time this week

he says he just like hanging out with Robaire and you but he just wants the food for real

but when you guys cook you play some music in the background like jazz or r&b, something that’s like calming and nice to listen to

it’s really fun cooking with him and not to mention how good he looks too

like he’s just singing and stirring whatever it is he’s stirring

like the vibes are there

and the meal is very good like you can’t blame Aaron T for coming over so often cause the food is too good

at dinner you guys usually talk about the same stuff you guys talk about at in the park: your guys future, the band, lyrics, possibly even having a pet!!

but just like how he was at lunch he’s very romantic so if you have like something on your face like sauce or something he’s gonna wipe it off and then taste it

there’s sometimes when you have something on your mouth and then instead of using his thumb he just licks it

he did that i front of the band one times and it was so scary bro

you guys both wash the dishes as well, and it’s so nice

sometimes he tries to make you not do the dishes he’ll say things like

“i don’t want you to ruin your nails, i’ll do it” “no no go sit”

but you still end up helping him anyways even if it’s just drying the dishes

like this is apart of your quiet time for the night

especially if Aaron T was there, y’all wouldn’t be washing the dishes till like 10:00

you guys both brush your teeth together and wash your face but he insists that he has to be the one to take off your clothes so you can change

and you guys just lay there in bed talking to each other and cuddling

he’s usually whispering sweet nothings in your ear

but your day ends with you guys being lovey dovey

you guys end up sleeping at 10:12

You guys both get woken up from Jesses kids

They come in like a beam of sunshine and then start hopping on the bed

It’s actually terrifying but they’ve been waiting for you two to get up for the longest now

In the morning Jesses voice is very raspy and deep so it takes you a bit by surprise

But he handles the kids so well

“Hey, hey, hey stop jumping. You guys okay??”

He talks to them so nicely even though they just woke him and you up out of his slumber

The kids say that they want some food and he makes a little deal with them

It’s been the same deal for as long as you’ve known

“How about you guys go down to the kitchen we’ll meet you down there”

One day they kids are going to realize that the deal hasn’t changed but they run down stairs and all you can hear is little feet growing distant down the hall

Then after the kids leave he groans and rolls over onto you

He’s a big baby for real

He’ll tell you good morning and kiss you all over your face and squeeze your waist

Sometimes he goes a tad bit to low and then you laugh at him and tell him to stop

he doesn’t just say good morning he’ll be like “Good Morning, my beautiful wife”

When you guys make it downstairs his kids are there waiting with their cups

It’s so cute because they hold their cups with two hands

They usually drink orange juice, milk or water in the morning

He’ll ask them what they want to eat and they have such refined pallets

You were surprised

They like to eat oatmeal and even avocado toast

You and Jesse always joke about how they’re gonna be health influencers in the future

While you guys eat Jesse loves to see you interact with the kids it’s so wholesome and sweet

the kids might ask you a weird question and you just indulge them and he finds that so adorable

or when you act kind of stern with them, he’s completely comfortable with you doing that

for example if they’re arguing over like something small and you check them and tell them to stop he finds that attractive for some reason

around this time you guys are wrapping up breakfast and getting ready for the day

you take the kids upstairs to get them situated while Jesse cleans up a little longer downstairs

y’all work so well together you guys get so much done in such a short amount of time

so after you monitor the kids getting dressed (and i say monitor cause i would like to believe that his kids are at the age of picking out their own outfits yk?? like u gotta make sure they’re not tearing apart their whole wardrobe) you help them wash they teeth and their face

once their finished you go downstairs and damn.

he’s standing at the sink and he’s not facing you so you get to see his back muscles

sometimes he doesn’t wear a shirt to breakfast and this was one of those days

now at this time all of you guys are in the outside garden (fancy right （＾ν＾）)

it’s always so relaxing out there

the kids play and run around while you and jesse watch them and drink some tea or coffee

jesse usually paints around this time, he’s working on trying to paint real life

the garden is a great place to practice that with the beautiful scenery of the flowers, the trees, the lake near your house and you’ve seen in the painting he even painted the kids running

but back at his art studio he has many portraits of you, sometimes your shocked at the amount of detail that’s in it

there was one time he took a picture of you sleeping and then made a portrait out of it and made it look like you were resting in a bed of flowers

embarrassing, but lovely

or sometimes he’ll bring home some pottery that he made and paint on it

you still have many gifts from when you guys were dating that he made, he’s so creative he’s made pottery for you, paintings, jewelry and poems

and you guys do this cute thing where every gift you give each other you give it a name, you guys don’t really remember how that tradition started but it’s still an ongoing thing

12:45pm

after you guys spend time outside everyone comes inside to get a snack or some lunch

and just like at breakfast it’s just an onslaught of questions and stories from the kids

maybe it’s something they learned at school or how they had a conflict with someone

it’s so funny to hear about their conflicts at school because what sound so obvious to you and Jesse might not be so obvious to the kids

but everyday when your at lunch or dinner your surprised each day by how alike they act to Jesse

they talk like him, they’re creative like him, think like him, smile like him, they’re carbon copies at this point

1:15 pm

at this time you start getting the kids ready to go to their babysitter

(on this specific day let’s just say that he’s taking you out on a date for tonight)

Jesse is very protective with his kids so i feel like he very rarely has a baby sitter or has someone look after his kids other than him, except when he rlly had to of course

today is an exception you and jesse plan out your date nights in advance every month

y’all make it like a holiday for you guys to go out somewhere fancy or to do something where you guys can spend the most quality time with each other

2:00 pm

you and jesse start to get ready to have your afternoon/ night out

i imagine that the both of you take forever to get ready to do things, hence the reason why you guys start kinda early

like you guys always show up to functions like an hour late ans people are so confused, they think you just bailed or sumn.

but nah yall just take forever n you take your precious time

usually takes y’all like a few hours

after taking some time to yourself n maybe something else (if yk what i mean (^_-) )

y’all start getting dressed and i feel like as you guys get dressed you okay music

like you guys play different ballads and r&b maybe some rock songs that you guys sing your heart out to

he outsings you of course but he always tells you that your voice sounds heavenly

you both know he’s lying….

unless you can sing ( i wish bro..)

but when a 4town songs starts to play like 1 true love, he gets all shy n shit like he doesn’t want to sing

but you dramatically sing with your hairbrush and he sings the lil adlibs in the back (^з^)-☆

the play you booked reservations for is like 20 minutes away, n y’all are supposed to be there by 7:45 sooooo

at this time you guys have just finished eating and now your walking around town

but the whole time he has this love sick smile, he’s savoring these moments because he knows as a performer he might not spend as much time as he’d like to with you

so moment like these make him so happy

you guys might stop at a bench and talk about aanything and everything under the sun

when you guys were dating you guys used to spend hours on the phone talking about everything and it would be late asf too (cause he put his kids to sleep before he gave you his full attention)

but after you guys realize your ice cream might melt and you need to pick up the kids you start talking and walking to the car, same fluid conversation dawg

when you guys pick up the kids their knocked out asleep so the whole ride home they’re sleep

when you guys arrive home you put the kids asleep and head off to get ready for bed

you guys aren’t so tired so you guys go watch a movie, a romantic movie （＾ν＾）

just like in the restaurant he can’t stop touching you, he claims it’s your aura, and when he says it he says it in a weird/funny way

but after that you guys go to sleep or keep on talking till you sleep

4TOWN MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD!! BE WARNED

Ok so I read the manga the day it came out…here are my thoughts

- ok I loved it overall but there were some things that, in my head, I chose to say “nope that’s not canon” lmfao.

- For example:

- I hc that Robaire is the only member that’s Canadian, I feel like the movie made that distinction but maybe that’s just me.

- I also didn’t agree with Robaire and Z being childhood friends, I like to think that all of the members met for the first time when the band formed.

- I hc that Robaire, T, and Z are all the same age and that T is older than Z so when I saw the ages I was like “NOPE”.

- I also still hc that Jesse is 26. 28 feels too old to me and Domee Shi kind of confirmed him to be 26

- It was kind of crazy to see that Robaire and Jesse’s zodiac signs in the manga are the same as my hc versions tho.

- I was also a bit bummed that we didn’t get to see T interact with the other members that much.

- I was expecting to see at least SOME of T and Z’s dynamic but oh well.

- I also kind of wish that we could’ve gotten to see a less hyper side of T.

- With that said, I am SUPER grateful that we got this manga and I enjoyed it a lot. I’m so excited to see what will come next.

- Here were some of my favorite aspects:

- Loved getting to see more of each of the members’ individual personalities.

- They were all so good, even though I do think T has a more witty, relaxed sense of humor.

- I loved Z’s personality the most.

- I feel like he was exactly like my hc version.

- The part where he cries when Robaire is talking to him. I was like “yup”.

- Also loved seeing Jesse and Tae’s dynamic.

- It was all around really good

I feel like there could be more 4town manga installments in the future, especially because it only just scratched the surface, but I think more 4town content is coming for sure, I’m especially excited to see what the “my first recurring VO dub with Disney+ (coming soon)” that Grayson posted about a few months ago.

yess!!! im also gonna write how he confesses to you ^_^

i imagine you guys meeting at a fancy party

you got dragged along by your friend, you honestly didn’t want to go, but who could pass us the opportunity to get free food

when you guys finally arrive at the fancy dinner (after spending like hours getting ready), your friend lowkey leaves you to go talk to her other friends

you started to follow along but then you just figured what’s the point and moved to the bar

it was pretty chill, you stayed on your phone but you were a little hurt that your friend left you

after a little bit of scrolling though your instagram feed, you hear someone say “excuse me”

“oh yeah my bad” you say and move a little over to give the person more room. they sit down next to you. there’s some more silence but you don’t really mind, you don’t even know this person.

“hey, uhm, what drink is that?” the person asks. you look up at them and you think ‘damn they look familiar’. “it’s presseco” you answer with a smile. “is it good, im not sure what i should get”. “Yeah it’s good, you’d should add some ginerale to it, then it’ll taste much better”, the person smiles back at you and says “thank you”.

now you could’ve sworn you’ve seen him before. it’s eating at you.. where have you seen him.. school? no..instagram.. probably.

the person orders their drink and takes a sip, “oh, i see what you like now”, they says chuckling but you couldn’t help but feel butterflies from the way they said it. “yep, it’s good right?” “yes, i’d try this again”

there’s some more silence, and you’re a bit scared to ask for their name so you just hold off.

“what’s your name?” the person asks. “Oh my name is y/n”. “nice to meet you y/n,” the person puts their hand out for you to grab. you put your hand out and you both shake hands. “my name is Robaire”. “nice to meet you” you smile.

you could’ve sworn he looked a little bit surprised after you said that, you didn’t know why. “so do you come to these events often?” you laugh a bit from how cliche the question is. “no not really, my friend dragged me along, usually at this time i’d be playing a video game or something”. he chuckles a bit, “yeah me too, i came here with some of my friends”. “that’s nice”. there’s some more awkward silence.

“so.. not to sound blunt but why’d you come over the the bar, and not stick with your friends?”. he picks up his drink and takes a sip, “well i got into a little argument with one of my friends, so i’m just cooking off. I think we just needed to calm down, we’re both stressed” he says. You can’t help but realize how collected he sounds, he’s so understanding. “hmm, i see, stressed from work or?” “yeah, work” he says, it sounded like he didn’t want to talk to much about it.

“well.. at least your here with me”, you pick up your drink with a smile and raise for a cheers. he follows suit. “cheers tooo?” you drag out the last word so he can finish the sentence. “to new friends”, he smiles and you guys cheers.

After a few hours of talking to Robaire, you realize more and more how attractive he is, and how cool he is too.

he mentions all the places he’s been to and all the people he’s met

honestly you thought he was a fuckboy

you guys end the night with exchanging numbers and from that day on you guys talked more

you still haven’t brought up where you think you’ve seen him before and honestly you don’t feel like asking either

2 years later

you and him are really good friends now, ans you also know what he does for his job

he’s a famous entertainer

your friend was so mad at you, because you didn’t know who he was when you guys first met

he told you he was scared to bring it up the first few weeks of talking because he didn’t want you to use him

you completely understood and still stuck around (and he fell deeper in love dawg)

one day he invite you out to dinner, it wasn’t anything special but he tells you to wear running shoes.

honestly you got scared

you guys arrived at the dinner spot and everything was chill, it was a dinner spot that he loved to go to and he got really cool with the owners as well so you guys could get a spot away from the public.

the whole dinner was smooth and nothing out of the ordinary. the only think that you noticed was that he was acting a bit weird. like very shy.

a few weeks ago you noticed it, and even when he was around the other 4*town members they would act a little bit suspicious as well. but today. he was acting totally different.

“hey so why did i need to wear specifically running shoes?” you ask. “well we’re gonna go on a walk after dinner” “robaire.. are you planning to kill me”. he laughs and says “no no no, i just gotta show you something”

after you guys finish eating, he looks so eager. so much so that he almost forgets to pay. but as you guys are walking to the spot you notice why he said to bring running shoes. you feet were killing you. it wasn’t even like you were out in the woods or nun. y’all were in the city streets walking, and at the time you don’t know if he did this on purpose trying to get you tired but lord have mercy it was tiring.

you guys end up stopping at some park. you guys find a bench to sit at and he points down to some flower on the ground. “this is what i wanted to show you”. you look at him like he’s crazy. “..t-the flower?”. “yes, i know it may seem weird but listen. what do you think is so different about this flower” “uhm… “, you look around to see if there is anything different. you lowkey irritated, your tired and exhausted and now he got you playing blues clues?. “i don-” your sentence is cut short when he kisses you.

you just look at him. your shocked. “y/n..” “y-yes” “will you date with me?”. you’re shocked completely and confused. but at the same time everything makes sense: why he was acting so weird, why he was being so shy, so fidgety. “yes” you smile.

he kisses you again and he’s saying over and over again “for real?”.

you ask him why he showed you a flower and he tells you about how he wants that flower to represent your guys relationship, he wants it to grow into a beautiful flower
