"baby, are you ready?" intak calls from outside the bedroom. you open the door and nod, letting him inside.

"god, you look amazing," intak says, his eyes never leaving yours, intently admiring every inch of your body.

you laugh softly. "thanks."

"so…" intak looks a little nervous, his hands behind his back. "you know how today's our first anniversary? well, i got you a little something…"

he takes out a box from behind his back, opening it to reveal a necklace— a simple, tiny heart hanging from a delicate silver chain. your and intak's initials are engraved on the inside.

"its gorgeous," you whisper, overcome with the urge to kiss him.

intak beams, eyes crinkling happily as he sighs in relief. "i'm glad… let me put it on."

he takes the necklace and puts it around your neck, the little heart resting between your collarbones.

he draws the ends together and gently clasps it shut. "there, all done."

"thanks, love," you smile, admiring the necklace in the mirror. "it's so pretty."

intak puts his arms around your waist, and murmurs, "so are you, [name]. you look stunning."

you can see intak's face reflected in the mirror, a light blush dusting his cheeks.

you smile, as you tease, "aww, intak, are you blushing? you're so cute."

intak doesn't answer, instead choosing to press his lips to your neck. he trails soft kisses downwards, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you in close against his chest, surrounded by the scent of his cologne.

his kisses begin dipping even lower— past your neck, past your collarbones— and despite how good it feels, you gently push him away and tell him, "intak! we're gonna be late."

"sorry, sorry…" intak forces himself to pull away.

as you step outside, you mumble, "thank you." and he knows you're not just talking about the necklace.

intak's eyes soften and he goes in for one last kiss, this time on your lips. "always. happy anniversary, baby."
