The Vaccines played at Leeds 8.27.2011. The festival was Aug 26 - 28. Now they will play AFHF 8.27.2022.

Leeds Festival shaped Louis and Harry in lasting ways. They wore their Leeds Festival bracelets until they fell off - Louis at the end of 10.2011 and Harry's 3.2012 - then Harry got the I can't change tattoo in its place, later covered by the anchor.

Louis wore his Leeds festival shirt the day before the Eleanor stunt went public.

They talked about Leeds a lot in interviews. The first post-Leeds interview is my favorite - H and L do a joint interview with BBCR1 while they are working out at the gym together immediately after the festival. This is the one where H tells the interviewer he pulled a muscle IN his arse and the interviewer clarifies he meant inside, and H says yes. The interviewer says, we won't ask about that lol.

Louis says his favorite bands were Two Door Cinema Club (I dig your cinema) and Bombay Bicycle Club (we were on bicycles...). Then they tell the interviewer they're off to a jacuzzi together!
