which of these teams with hot starts (6 wins or more) do you honestly think are unsustainable and why? plus is there time for the penguins to turn it around still? apprently only 15% of the teams who are 4 pts out of a playoff spot by thanksgiving make the playoffs

I don’t pay attention to the standings or other teams. That’s too much hockey. I care about one team and one team only. I’ve got my teams-in-law but I could not tell you what the standings look like this early in the season.

In the spirit of your question, I have opened up the nhl app to look at the standings. Flyers are at five wins so they’re out of the running of your question. I don’t think they’ll be as dogshit as last year, start or no, but I think they have some of the most variance in the metro so it’ll be interesting to see if they heat up or cool down. TOR is at 4 wins they’ll heat up. Since they got Mathews they’re cursed to lose in the first round of the playoffs much to Steve Dangle’s eternal torment. At 7 wins, I’m not sure the Devils can keep it up. They’re very young. They’ve got the biggest potential to crash and burn. I don’t think the Rags have gotten any better from relying on their goalie to bail out their defense. If the league can figure out Igor or if he slips I think we’ll see them struggle. Tbh islanders are basically the same as rangers in my head cannot give you a read on them as a team plus we haven’t played them. Barzal is a cutie tho. Boston has its shit together currently but I haven’t checked in for an injury update and they may struggle if yesterdays injury was as bad as it looked. I notice Earth suns tend to have a very bullying type of humor. Very harsh dry humor that’s borderline offensive is their style. Sometimes it’s hard to know if they’re joking or serious especially Capricorn’s 😭

Aries men are surprisingly not as hot headed as people would expect. It actually takes a lot before they really yell at you. Usually only if u insult something they’re passionate in. The women are a lot more hot headed & easily set off imo

Mercury Rx people usually struggle with speech or reading problems. I notice it can result in having a stutter or a lisp, dyslexia or just very bad social anxiety. In extreme cases I’ve seen selective mutism. I also notice they have a very intense relationship with books & reading, it’s either they absolutely love reading or it’s really challenging for them in some way. A lot started off in their earlier years finding reading challenging then ended up loving reading as they grew. It’s like a mental exercise for them.

Saturn RX people always make bad choices lol. They always choose the path that will lead to the most hardship just for the fun of it or the excitement (which it’s normally not fun for too long) they usually grew up having a hard time with authority. Could of had very authoritative parents that were too hard on them which caused them to rebel. In this lifetime they are here to learn the value of HARD-work because in past lives these people were usually really irresponsible & put fun and pleasure over building their futures. These people will face so much disappointment until they surrender their rebel lifestyle. Deep down they do want to mature & be better but many believe they aren’t good enough. Once they reach this maturity however their life will do a 360.

im not gonna do a formal mid-year top 10 list like i did the last two years, cause tbh i dont think i have 10 songs that i think are definitely on it. idk. so i’ll just say informally my top 5 right here. in order of release: stayc run2u, nmixx tank, ive love dive, le sserafim fearless, lightsum alive. 

tank is a bside of course, and if im only counting title tracks, then replace tank with either billlie gingamingayo or kep1er wadada i guess, im not really sure. that’s really all i’ve got so far. 

for me, it’s been a slow year in terms of kpop... there’ve been a handful of things i like, only a few things i love, and a lot of stuff i think is either just okay or i straight up dont really like at all. oh well. im not sure if this is because this year is worse, or if maybe my taste is just changing, or im not as into kpop as i used to be. i think its a little bit of both, because some of the songs that i’ve been most disappointed by this year... i would have been disappointed by them in other years too. but some of the ones that i think are just okay... i may have been way more into them in previous years, tbh. shrug. also, a couple groups i was really looking forward to... just havent put anything out yet. itzy and aespa are coming up, but its unfortunate that there wasnt anything in the first half (not counting the japanese itzy song), but also like... weki meki, everglow, tri.be, hot issue (rip).... where are you guys.....

there are a LOT of things coming out soon though, and tbh i predict that most of my end-of-year top 10 will be songs released in the second half of the year lol. i guess we’ll just have to wait and find out, but im more optimistic than pessimistic about it
