(I truly think Tommy realizes Buck has feelings for Eddie but Buck just doesn’t realize it, so Tommy is acting on his crush anyway, but he sees how Chris doesn’t shut up about Buck, how Eddie isn’t mad even though Buck could’ve really hurt him, how Buck is jealous about Eddie getting a new friend but it’s really MORE. So, Tommy gets to have a fun thing with Buck, chill with the 118 fam for a while, but I think he sees there’s no permanent place for him in Buck’s life as a partner, or Eddie’s life, for that matter. So we’re going to get BuckTommy until one of the boys stops being a damn fool and realized they’re in love with their best friend. I’m so serious about this btw, bc Buck telling Tommy he’s known how great Eddie is from the start? Tommy’s face dropped so weirdly, he was so contemplative for a second, and it was giving me BIG “oh, I don’t really have a shot, do I?” vibes UNTIL Buck spells it out as trying to get TOMMY’S attention. First I was wondering why Buck was almost glowing with happiness when Tommy asked him for a date immediately. Then, while re-watching the episode (entirely instead of just that scene 😅) I noticed one thing. Probably something that many others already noticed but I hadn't seen yet.

When Eddie asked Buck if he was free on Wednesday Buck was so giddy with joy because he thought Eddie wanted him to spent time with him and Tommy. Include him. And he looked so disheartened when he realized that Eddie only asked because he needed someone to watch Christopher.

While it is heartwarming that Buck is always Eddie's first choice for this, I'm kinda mad that Eddie didn't see that he hurt Buck in that moment. It was all over his face.
