They are 100% the definition of platonic soulmates - 5x17 is one of the many episodes where that truly shines & I adore how much they truly love each other.

The 9-1-1 writers fumbled so hard by having Buck & Taylor get into a relationship in S5. And on top of that they gave Taylor & Lou lowkey so much chemistry together??? Like they would have worked out better than Buck and Taylor tbh. I wish we just had Buck & Taylor being friends. I bet if the Bi buck plot line didn’t get shut down in S4 we could’ve gotten so many better storylines instead.
