since we found out that the nuke isn't the same thing as the incident, i have two theories about it!
one is that dreamxd was responsible for "the incident" and he just whipped their asses out of there and brought them to a new world to save them. why? no idea.
OR c!karl was able to time travel back to that exact moment to save them but by doing so, he altered the entire server and now everyone's lost their memories and starting anew.
learning abt friendship decay and "not reaching out to your friends for months at a time unprompted is not neurotypical behaviour" has me feeling a certain way
The monster in Shinra Manor is singing the “Trail of Blood” theme from FF7.
First introduced when Sephiroth/Jenova leave behind the trail of carnage in the Shinra building and I believe it was last heard when Hojo revealed he was Sephiroth’s father. I need to verify.
The theme is heard in Remake and seems to be referenced in the Haunted Hotel. I’m sure there are more scenes where it’s heard, but I like that the monster is singing it. A nice detail.
Man, these past few days...so many thoughts. About my life then, my life now. What I missed. Thoughts about what I'll never have. And what I want to have.
ok but im rly into the idea of till having a new era that brings the light back to his eyes and drives him forward if he gets to escape the arena. idk where he'd go from there but i want to see ivans sacrifice both haunt him and drive him to actually live his damn life after being the captured bird refusing freedom cause of mizi. once he knows she's alive with the resistance he might be able to actually experience other things and widen his world and if that happens and he puts his personal sense of rebellion towards the human cause OR settles into finding some other way to feel fulfilment that isn't a single person that could be deeply fascinating to me i think
i mean realistically it’s just bad writing but there is something very interesting to how the feelings revealed by persona 4’s shadows never really get resolved. in the first 10 hours of the game it gets revealed that chie and yukiko have like this codependent lesbian thing going on and then the rest of the game that just kind of hangs in the air when they’re like. haha we’re silly :3 and we’re gal pals lol
Ok new short fic concept that im putting here so i dont forget: lance finds out keith is gay and is like wtf kind of guy is even ur type and keith describes someone who is literally lance and the whole team stares at him and is like “so….lance.” And keith is like “no? That’s nothing like lance?” And everyone nods and hmms and then we go through the journey of keith realizing oh my god. That is lance.
I decided to start rewatching the fairly oddparents and something that I'm surprised to see (aside from it still being pretty funny 😂😂) is that I remembered Wanda being more of the straight-man to Cosmo and Timmy, probably because of the flanderization and season rot, but she actually MATCHES their energy?? Most of the time she's participating in or actively encouraging their wacky behavior and I think that's beautiful! We need to go back to that
can't believe this hasn't been said before but unhinged!scarlett and unhinged!dave would be an iconic duo. shame pi didn't get a second season bc these two in an alliance would basically succeed in destroying the island, they'd wipe everyone out
the fact that they're both versions of the nerd character so they're already smart in their own ways, the fact that they have absolutely zero fucks to give anymore, their individual darker sides have come out (whether it was hidden consciously (scarlett) or unconsciously (dave)), and they've each attempted to kill/seriously injure one or more contestant(s) (and mess up the island in the process) just to reach their end goal. imagine if these two found a common goal somehow, literally nothing could get in their paths (except possibly each other)
i cannot stand the aot fandom this is not a new take at all they are universally intolerable but oh my dayssss u are FORBIDDEN from making ANY take about the show it's actually insane to watch. 'aot is perfect' no show is perfect. 'tell me you didnt get the show 😂🫵' people have different opinions/interpretations about things. 'eren is a good guy they could never make me hate him' i think there's actually 4 seasons and two movies explicitely using him as a tool to show that no one is 'good' or 'evil' they are only trying to survive. hello. the fandom r all so far up aot's ass that they actually discredit its writing in the process and it would be laughable if it wasn't so frustrating
