POORLY DRAWN GROGU EVERYDAY UNTIL 2022 ENDS: DAY 318, THE FINAL ONE

The last drawing I’ll make for this series! It’s the end of 2022 and also the end for the daily drawings.

I don’t want to get too sappy but thank you SO MUCH to everyone who’s been keeping up with the series. I’ve read all the notes and replies you guys leave and it really means a lot <3. I don’t think I can describe how blown away i am to see that many people finding joy in these drawings.

Not to get sappy I am kind of sad that it’s over, it was really fun to draw (but a pain when I couldn’t figure out what to do lmao). Besides that I hope you guys stick around longer around this blog. I’m not really active on here but I kind of started this series to start posting more and motivate myself to post more of my art. 

For the future of this series, I probably won’t continue it like this. I may do a countdown for season 3 but I feel like this is an appropriate place to end things and I really don’t want to drag out this idea to the point I get of doing it. But who knows! I might do a daily thing but it probably won’t be grogu, ill get there when I get there.

Again I’m just really really happy people enjoyed this dumb little series that I started on a whim. It’s grown to a point where if I told myself earlier this year the impact it would have I’d laugh. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I don’t know how to end this im really sad its done but im glad its over too!! I’m gonna be posting a more coherent comic or something soon but thank you!! i can’t say that enough!!

While researching Mando'a for a fic, I found out that Mandalorians call droids 'Beskar'ad' and it's just thE CUTEST THING EVER!

In Mando'a, Beskar means iron and ad means son/daughter... so droids are literally iron sons/daughters and I just:

It's sO sweet, especially when you consider how much value Mandalorian culture places on children. The fact they think of droids as iron sons or daughters is so precious!

Also, I would do anything to witness Din Djarin's reaction to learning that information. His protectiveness towards children and hatred of droids would be the two wolves fighting inside him!!

Din takes a Dad Mid Day Nap TM and then goes outside, to the clan family garden, and sees the utter chaos that has unfolded in his absence:

- Luke is standing on the garden table wielding a wrench, engaged in what is clearly a battle to the death with Paz, who has chosen the mighty broom as his weapon. Luke is wining. He has the high ground - Obi-Wan is proud.

- Boba has put Grogu in a wheelbarrow and is using his jet pack to zoom it around.

- Cara is teaching a 5 year old Rey how to fire a rifle, that is almost as big as her. Rey is alarmingly good.

- Ahsoka, Bo-Katan and Leia are discussing the runnings of the galaxy while facing the wall and resolutely ignoring everything that is going on behind them.

- Han is still asleep on the couch. He refuses to wake up till dinner.

I posted some 🤔🤔🤔 about last week's mandalorian episode & the things other ppl were saying about it, but just to be clear I am fundamentally here to enjoy the starwars pew pew show and (with a little trust in the writers that they will end it when it ends and won't stretch it out to 27 soulless seasons of bad writing and bland and inconsistent characterization) my overall opinion on season 3 is, three cakes!!!!!

Paz hates Clan games night. He especially hates Space Monopoly.

Luke is a deft cheater, his innocent big blue eyes are a lie, he will use the force to influence the dice roll - he insists he doesn't but no one lands that consistently on the utilities and the blues!

Din doesn't win often but he always beats Paz so he must be cheating! Paz isn't sure how but Din is a skilled bounty hunter - there must be some transferable skills...or maybe it's the darksaber....

Bo-Katan is unnatrually good at convincing people to trade with her. They should all know better by now and yet they always end up making deals that fuck them over three turns later.

Cara straight up steals from the bank. She gets away with it everytime because Bo is banker so Cara just flexes her muscles and Bo somehow instantly forgets that Dune is an Unrepentant Monopoly Criminal. (Paz tried it once..Bo took 100 credits from him as 'emotional distress compensation').

Grogu has eaten nearly all the figures.
