The depths of special interest: bread compell me.

I haven't watched dungeon meishi but based solely on the recipe from the manga cap its definitely possible/sooo easy to make fluffy, soft bread. I literally did it this past weekend; and one of my first thoughts when tasting the recipe was that it had hawaiian roll vibes and would make great rolls.

I used the Old Order Amish Bread recipe from Bernard Clayton's New Book of Breads p48-50. Here is a blog that has the recipe and its one of those put everything in the bowl at once and mix recipes. I hope this can help someone with anime food baking =w=)b

Hello TT! Hope you are doing well, I lurked in after a really long time so thought would say hello and let you know how much your blog has impacted my life. I started following your blog religiously when I discovered Ishqbaaz, it was almost an obsession how zealously I followed your blog and the show. I was on the cusp of Adulthood, just two years short. All pieces of fiction were merely me trying to escape my horrible home life. I have always indulged in fiction, it has mostly been books tbh but there were times after I had access to a phone when tellywood lured me in. After IB, I just followed you for your wit and boldness. I imagined this is how my elder sister would be if I had one (since I am the elder sibling in the house). You actually hooked me to AryLie as well, and for that I am most grateful since I somehow found a supportive community through AryLie fandom (long story). I know you don't follow tellywood anymore, I too switched to Kdramas and Cdramas over the years. Oh, I also gave Suno Chanda a try; thanks to you and Mais. Absolutely delightful. The thing is I felt my appreciation towards your constant support (even if you weren't aware) should be at least known. You speak for so many girls in this blog of yours, always giving everyone a warm hug to those who need it and a virtual asskicking to who are being jerks. People you follow truly shape you, it's the way I have felt validated by when you spoke what I believed it; it's the way you introduced me to life changing fiction just when I needed it; it's the way you have been present for the last nine years in my life. I have always struggled with suicide ideation but if it has taught me anything; it's to always express the gratitude you are feeling. Life is so unpredictable anyway. I want to be appreciated and appreciate others as well. That's humanity to me. This connection where we truly value each other. Anyway, so sorry for the long ramble. I hope wherever you are, you always stay well, physically healthy and mentally sane. Adieu, my internet sister. I will keep checking in 💌

Oh my heart, I am actually here like........

Just the other day, I'd been thinking wistfully of all the community I felt through this blog, wondering if any of y'all are still even around. This message honestly feels like the universe's answer to that. 🥰🥰🥰

This blog started out as just me shouting into the void about nonsense ITV, but it grew into so much more thanks to you all. I am an only child (and wouldn't have it any other way!) and know nothing of being a sibling, but somehow I felt so fiercely protective of every single person I've talked to through this blog, that idk how, I just became an honorary big sister. It's a badge I wear with utmost honour, even though we don't even know each others' names!

Just know, even if I am not watching Tellywood anymore/super active on this blog, I'm still here on tumblr everyday (it's my safe corner on the internet) and you guys can reach out whenever! Life goes on, interests change, and we grow as people. But this blog and I don't plan on going anywhere, and it'll always be a home for y'all to drop in when you need it. 🏠🏠🏠💖💖💖

PS - I'm proud of you for finding a community of your own, and kicking mental illness's ass on the regular. Yall I have come up with a sort of okay idea for a hopefully better yandere simulator game

It would be called Violent Crush (Idk yet don't bulli me 😭), and the main two characters are twins Arylie and Aryan and you can pick either one to play as so both genders can play without having to use debug.

The "Senpai" characters will have both genders available, including a custom option. I'm not sure if they should just be referred to as fem or masc tho because there are boy and girl rivals,

Instead of panty shots (EWWWW), there are key chains! The info group (Name I'm thinking of is Supply Squad), which is a band of misfits and bulied kids who help the twins in exchange for the key chains

instead of the adult rivals going after the kids (BRB frowin up), there is a student rival and an adult rival. WHO DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT LIKE THE CHILDREN!!!!! But they know about the twins' killings/obsession over the "Senpais" and want to warn them, you have to get the teacher fired and the student to have low reputation so no one believes them. You could befrien them but I still have to work out how that would work.

I might edit this later with an image of the twins. Also, to make it inclusive, there would be an option for people to change the skin tone and hair type so they can feel more comfortable in the character. Their full names are Arylie Kuro Kurayami and Aryan Kurai Kurayami (bit of a mouthful, If anyone has any better idea for first/last/middle names pls comment!)

The twins are mixed race in cannon, Japanese, and Spanish, Spain from their father and Japanese from their mother <3

The three eyed Gran youngling follows them, somewhere under fluttering layers of her pristine dress that becomes stepped on and dragged over water puddles. She follows the master and the padawan like the day before — keeping a respectable distance  — but just like the day before, the curiosity and excitement shimmer around her as do the expensive silks suggesting her important stance.

Cirz tilts his head to see what his master thinks, and his master briefly meets his eyes with her own, before she returns to pretending she’s heard nothing. He sees the corners of her lips rise.

Cirz decides to slow down his pace to match the Gran’s. The Gran, Arylis, looks surprised by this move, for she suddenly stops and turns around.

“Why can’t you?” The young padawan takes it as an invitation to leap closer. “Will you get allergy like when you grab a nettle? I promise I’m not a nettle.” He extends his hand, blue fingers spread wide mid-air. He grins. “You can touch me!” 

Arylis considers it for a very long moment before she pats the open palm with her palm, suddenly very giddy about deciding to do so. She goes for another highfive more confidently — five six? She has six fingers, Cirz notes. Arylis curls her upper lip, flickering her triangle ears.

“Nothing happened, see?”

“But don’t tell my Auntie, she thinks you can lay charms by touch. And shoot lasers from the eyes and —”

“We can”

“What?” Arylis flinches back warily, and Cirz simply stands in place with his hands resting by his sides.

“Shoot lasers. Pew pew.”

“No… That’s stupid! You are lying!” And as it seems Arylis has her own conclusions now, Cirz grabs her arm and tugs her gently in the direction of the Embassy’s front garden “I taught your pond fish a trick, wanna see?”

This promo does NOT have the right to be so good.

It just simply doesn’t (especially with lyrics so poignant).

It hits everything right. It doesn’t shy from acknowledging that Imlie has loved, has been burnt and it was a story she shouldn’t have been in the first place. Nothing right could’ve ever come from forcing a 35 years old man to marry an 18 years old girl because of archaic societal norms.

That despite that man validating that relationship or Sita Maiyya hinting that perhaps this was her true path considering she had walked in with the feet of a bride, this was not right.

It never was.

There she should be, on a tree in her grounds in her clothes, swinging happily as a 19 years old should.

Not bound by her altruism or makings a bahu.

But just a woman.

And there’s Aryan. With his barely there smile, his precious time spent like sand, for he’s resting by his car and watching her aching tenderness. The clash of his car on her simple surroundings doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb, but is there like a reassuring presence.

They’ve changed without changing🥹 we see Aryan for what he is. A protector of her happiness. One with love as divine as possible.

And Imlie’s smile doesn’t fall for she’s being watched. No, it’s her soft hesitation for the moment she sees him. It’s almost like she’s seeing him for the first time.

Not the mentor, the friend, or a stubborn boss.

No, for a second what flickers in her head is as loud as Sita Maiyya’s burst of blessing. That the soulmate one talks of - the one with whom you take all the vows and is blessed by divine intervention -

Has been standing in front of her all along.

And the beauty of it all happening in the most inconsequential day - when she’s on a swing and he’s standing by her car. Kuch nahi, par sab kuch.

Note: knowing itv and Imlie though I know the nuance of this might never be explored but the sheer joy this promo provoked in me made me feel so much. There was a tenderness and maturity here I didn’t expect otherwise.

Lol I think all of ITV after the pandemic times is damn near UNWATCHABLE (like even for jokes, like we used to watch IMMJ2 and Naagin 5 and shit...) Every clip I have the misfortune of laying my eyes on, I have to go watch 25 cat/moo deng reels to cleanse my eyes and brain. Like forget the MLs, now even the FLs aren't worth rooting for anymore; and I absolutely cannot watch a piece of media with a woman I cannot stan.

Things I've been watching over the past few days:

The Judge From Hell (just finished this weekend): PSH delivering the best performance of her career, if you ask me!

Miss S: A cdrama remake of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. Set in Republican China, abso-fuckin-lutely delightttttttful!!!!!! The mysteries in themselves are very easy to solve by us watchers, but the leads and the supporting characters are just suchhhhhh a treat.

Perfect 10 Liners: Fluffy Engineering Gays meandering through the wafer thinnest of plots, only vibes and lolz.

Then there's the random sitcoms like Modern Family, Abbott Elementary, New Girl, Kim's Convenience, etc. during meal times.

Nothing has HOOKED me to the point of obsession after The Acolyte and No Gain No Love. Hoping that at least The Heart Killers will deliver on the unhingedness and keep me fed till the end of the year!
