i wanted to post both my pre corruption and post design version at once so here you go!

they might be subject to change in the future, but i don't think i wanna go overboard with detail for nightmare's passive form; cause not only would her fancy princess clothing be stolen or ripped and torn ages ago with all the bullying and blood staining it, but also the twins have to change their clothes every once in a while to clean them or at least when they get too small to fit, so the outfits have to be replaceable/easy to mend and sew back hhh xD

also no crowns for this version of mine, but a crescent moon hair clip turned necklace for night, and a sun clip turned belt for dream! her design coming soon (hopefully :'D)

hi i stayed up past 1 am playing sonic frontiers! its really good! i beat the first island and i wanna play more So Bad if i didnt have other obligations today. but oh my god.

im usually not a fan of open-world games (i bounced off botw pretty hard) but the various mini-objectives like collecting memory tokens or solving puzzles or fighting dudes means im constantly bouncing around the map and branching out just for the sake of it and its FUN. the controls took some getting used to (especially the homing attack) but by the time i was halfway through island 1 it felt incredibly fluid chaining stuff together

AND THE WRITING!! ive seen the first two islands already from jorb playing it but oh my god the writing is so good. the characters are so good. even sonic's random quips out in the world feel natural - he's thinking about his friends and stuff he's seen before! i was messing around near a waterfall and he said something about it reminding him of mystic ruins and i went YOOOOO

AND THAT'S NOT EVEN GETTING INTO THE ACTUAL STORY i love amy to death. i fucking adore amy. its SO good seeing her in the spotlight and her little storyline with the koco being about "we need to reunite her with her love!!" evolving into "i want to go out into the world and share what i feel" and sonic saying he'll hear all about it when she's back and. aufgh .

was at a summer camp and at the cafeteria there was sweet tea (doi) and like, the sweet tea in texas can get pretty damn sweet okay? okay. so theres this girl who moved in from Georgia and had the audacity to say that the tea was even sweet enough. it wasnt sweet enough?? GIRL HOW DAMN SWEET IS THE SWEET TEA IN GEORGIA 💀💀 anyways apparently texas sweet tea is no match for georgia sweet tea and i do not doubt her

forever and pac are actually the most goated characters and ccs that ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. honestly.

they've been carrying most of the emotional weight on the server for the past few days, which is incredible considering the way they've chosen to go about it. pretending to be on cloud none for multiple hours at a time is utterly exhausting, even moreso with the fact that they were both scattering in sections of lucidity which means they couldn't just be happy for the whole time. it was a very delicate balance of being utterly insane and being trapped in their own "happiness," and it was a balance that they both pulled off rather flawlessly.

i think the choice to make the drug feel more like a suppressor of negative emotions and less like a stimulant of happy ones was an utterly brilliant one. it forced them to still have to be aware of the situation they are in (ie, their child is missing (among other things)) even while being all happy and wild and cheerful, and that just added to the deep unsettling feeling that came along with interacting with them. the fact that any small amount of pushing could make the facade crack was incredible; not only did that give us a plethora of awful, awful angst to have to deal with, it also gave other ccs a chance (if they so pleased) to pry out those fun interactions- 'fun' meaning 'awful and miserable and sad and heartwrenching,' of course.

and. of course. their performances tonight were incredible. you don't even have to say it. cellbit obviously was amazing too, and everyone else played their part well, but, i mean, come on. the two of them showed their terror and anger and fear in the most. just. impressive but also gut-punching way possible. forever deeply in denial of the reality he was being faced with, trying to fall back on the drug as time passed and it wore off more and more, finally snapping due to his panic and thinking that cellbit is cucurucho (which, OW, what the hell), shouting at him to leave his family alone and giving us a window into things that might have actually happened and/or the suppressed thoughts he's been having. pac being terribly, horribly, awfully quiet, sobbing in his prison in the background as forever and cellbit screamed at each other. him only getting more afraid when cellbit started shouting. the reason he started taking the drug in the first place was expertly crafted, honestly, and making him the one that developed the cure was just. a delicious character choice. absolutely perfect. PERFECT. he's so good at portraying emotion and so is forever and AUGHGH. today was perfect. today was so good. i love these guys so much.

looove love love @sonboygemerl's take on a better stc shadow. takes stco's base concept of 1) made from sonic and 2) kintobor is both his gerald and his maria 3) he resents sonic for turning kintobor into robotnik 4) he still sides with robotnik more than sonic, and actually EXPANDS ON THAT CONFLICT... aughgh it's Good

xina and miguels relationship is sooo good actually. in like a raw, deep, emotional sense. in what they do for each other. specifically what she would've done for him. xina is everything miguel needs in a partner–she holds him accountable, she challenges him to be better than he is. and that makes him uncomfortable. and that should be a GOOD thing, like it should be what he needs to grow and be a better person and not fall into that trap of being stuck under tyler stones thumb at alchemax, but breaking out and being that person for her is hard and it's scary and miguel just wants to live a life where he can stay the smartest guy in the room and live comfortably without having to face that reality. he doesn't wanna throw himself into the unknown of self-discovery, he'd rather just wallow in what he has and pretend he doesn't hate himself. AND ITS LIKE... the things being spiderman does to his character over time, that like, desire to finally grow up and become someone worthy of the good things in his life, whether it's gabriel or xina or whatever else, SHE WOULD'VE DONE FOR HIM had they stayed together. like. aughgh. she was so good for him, and that scared him because since when does miguel o'hara deserve something that perfect, so he had to bring about the self-fulfilling prophecy of his own inability to be worthy of being loved and cheating plotline ensues. ugh his psychology in this relationship makes me insane.
