Zelda maintains scars from her time as Puppet Zelda, but they only appear when she is near a source of "dark magic" or at the hours of twilight. She did not initially remember the event but began to recall it in dreams or in visions sparked by flashing lights. It is a cruel reminder of the sacrifices Zelda made to save Hyrule and Midna - but she would never change a thing. When her spirit was with Midna, it was only proven to her that the Twilight Princess was worth saving just as any of her subjects.

Oh hands down this shot I did for Castlevania Nocturne. I spent hours getting the slight drag on the harpie's boob right and it's my greatest work EVER.

Do not let anyone, ANYONE convince you that the castlevania games (particularly Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night) have no story. Do not believe that the games have no story. Richter’s game has full anime cutscenes where characters move and interact with each other. Annette tells Dracula she would rather kill herself before she becomes his new wife. Maria and Richter get funny and goofy together. Maria is a magical girl. There are corny jokes.

Do not let anyone tell you the games have no story. They probably skipped all the cutscenes

My biggest problem with the Red Star reveal actually isn’t the “oh it makes death meaningless” bit, but rather how greg made the requirements for getting revived on it so inanely pedantic. It’s like “Oh, Sidorak got crushed by Keetongu so badly that he couldn’t be revived” or “Oh, the Toa Mangai got killed by Eliminator, who I just retconned to be able to kill people so hard that they can’t be revived” or “Oh the Makuta were made from antidermis so they can’t be revived” or “Oops, this character died outside the giant robot so they’re out of range of being revived”. 

Like seriously greg, you already opened the “characters can get brought back from the dead” floodgate, now you’re just being an “um actually” guy

Watched Castlevania: Nocturne today

What a delightful little show, just what I needed. Saw several men so beautiful I started crying, gonna go on a nice hunt for pretty, pretty pictures of Edouard and Olrox, and maybe a screengrab of that cute little ginger girl dressed as Liberty for an avatar on Discord.

My guy Edouard is a mulatto from Haiti (oh hey look at that we actually know where he's from and he's not 'ambiguously brown'). Are his eyes blue? Yes, tragically. But it's at least a shade of blue that works ok with with his skin tone. Also peep the nose and lips.

Could I tell what kind of Native Olrox was when I saw him b4 he said anything? No. But I could tell he was Native. But we *do* get to find out where he's from. Does he have pale colored eyes, yes, but again the shades picked work well with his skin tone. Also just lovely nose, lips, cheek bones. Doesn't feel like an ambiguous brown mfer.

Go girl give us nothing. Hate that shade of blue, its jarring. Granted given how the mangaka has this man's skin changing colors in the same lighting in the art books like a fucking chameleon in a rave and even making him that weird 'I don't know how to color nonpale people' grey in a few places in the artbooks also just that blue wasn't gonna work anyway.

Also the gross pixie nose. Zero lippage. What fantasy counterpart is this guy from who the fuck knows? Apparently, it wasn't important to make clear or hint at in his design or for him to bring anything that could pin him up directly. Mr. Ambigiously fucking Brown.

Also colorist tropes! Our two plot important brown people gotta have pale colored eyes can't they can't be too ethnic if we have to see them a lot more.
