When you first walk up to Zayne and catch him on his phone, look at his face. He goes from his normal neutral expression to the softest little smile when he realizes it's you/mc walking up to him 🥺🥺🥺
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He even straightens himself up a little taller when he sees you i'm dying send help 😩

I think about this post on a near daily basis and the thing that really gets me about it is that NOT ONLY does your Kim Points(TM), but YOU CAN ONLY GET THIS DIALOGUE IF HE ALREADY FEELS POSITIVELY ABOUT YOU.
Tumblr media
If your reputation with him is negative or zero, you get this instead:

HE WILL ONLY THINK ABOUT HARRY WRESTLING A BEAR IF HE LIKES HARRY. I AM NOT NORMAL ABOUT THIS.

The elections are over in the UK.
Shabbaz has a really good summary of the current situation. It’s worth taking a look.
And if my peeps over here live in the UK, please go out and vote in every election. Demand accountability from your local representatives. You can hold them accountable when they aren’t living up to their manifesto.
I no longer live in the UK. I was one of the many European migrant workers that left because of Brexit. The environment was hostile, the whole settlement scheme was giving dejavú of the Windrush scandal. Residency was now dependent on work visas, citizenship no longer attainable.
If you still live in the UK do your utmost to keep the tories out. Jacob Rees Mogg does not have your best interest at heart, his businesses are not even located in the UK. Boris Johnson got his French passport while he was pushing for Brexit. They’ve trashed the country to let you living in rubbles while they have a escape route.

A disability take I have been thinking about is that if companies refuse to provide accessibility options/adequate accessibility options (which is shitty, don't get me wrong), the very very least they can do is make it as easy as possible for people to make tools for accessibility possible. It's shitty enough when products are not accessible at its base (like a video game controller, for instance), but it's even worse when it's made as difficult as possible for people to do things to make accessibility an option.

And programmers,
Below is a tiktok of a memory experiment used to show how quickly a human devotes information to short term memory, but how hard it is to access them when overstimulated and without further conditioning.

it's fucked that computer mouse components are so inaccessible compared to keyboard parts because with 3d printers now it's so easy to build custom mice that would last forever if you could actually buy the components for it. theres a company that makes open source 3d printable mice and sells kits called ploopy (stop laughing yes it's real) and they are literally like. sorry guys we can do literally everything except make a good mouse wheel because they straight up dont sell those parts and we don't have the specific manufacturing capability. hope youre fine with that

stopped getting ad-free spotify which means I now have the opportunity to get mad at (checks notes) advertisers prioritising their own profit margins over people's health
(look. I think telehealth is a good thing. when it is used as an ADJUNCT to long-term care with a GP or at least a practice which knows who you are, acts as coordinating centre with any specialists you see, and in general has some kind of interest in looking after you in the long term not just for one day)
