Wealth Shown to Scale
This visual walkthrough of just how disgustingly wealthy the 0.001% are blew my mind. Once you can actually start to visualize how much money a billion dollars is, you can fully grasp the fact that nobody can earn or deserve that much wealth.

Stop bailing out the rich and start taxing them.
Tumblr media
The problem is that a good portion of our politicians are in the 1% and why would they vote to tax themselves?
They won’t unless we give them no other option

Capitalism and colonialism took community away from us and I want it back. I’ve heard about it from my grandparents and in books and articles online. All throughout history and still today in some parts of the world. People looking out for each other. Regularly. Relentlessly. Neighbors watching each others children, having enough food to share and actually sharing it, being invested in each others lives because everyone has different strengths.
Today community has been strategically painted as a weakness and something to be skeptical of because it is a threat to the very foundations of capitalism. And that’s a real fucking shame because in reality, growing up with community and still having that through adulthood would probably make most people generally happier and less perpetually tired and stressed. It is renewable resilient versatile adaptable self-sustaining and kind of the Ultimate Resource.

This is your regular reminder the the rich don't care about you, they care about the lowest they can pay you for work that deserves twice your pay.
Despite the bs, capital NEEDS labor, not the other way around. Laborers have been independent for centuries, and the wealthy have done everything they can to hide that from you.
You are worth more than your work, and you DESERVE to be compensated appropriately for it.
As always, this isn't about people getting wealthy off the agreement between labor and capital, this is about APPROPRIATE wealth and wealth distribution.
Anyway, demand a union: https://www.nlrb.gov/about-nlrb/rights-we-protect/the-law/employees/your-right-to-form-a-union

URGENT NEED FOR MUTUAL AID
I know everyone is broke but i am homeless in the winter time after my long term partner and I split and she kept our apartment. I was left with no place to live & no options other than becoming completely destitute again after an 12 day inpatient hospitalization and when given the option to fight for it, i couldn’t because I don’t want her in legal trouble, even if I’m completely fucked now. I don’t have the desire to make her uncomfortable at all, let alone homeless. I just need help making it through the cold season. If anyone can help me with just enough money to pay my friend to let me couch surf with them a little longer (i will not survive outside in the cold I don’t have a warm jacket or pants or anything and can’t find one at any clothing closet bc I wear a bigger size) and (if I’m lucky) maybe a little bit of funds to get some warm clothes if I can’t come up with enough to stay warm at my friends place that would mean the world to me. I’m an intersex transmasc dyke with a life limiting chronic illness. I really don’t want to die in the cold and I’m so afraid I’m going to. If you can help, my Venmo is @harmonywoj . (Idk if Venmo still asks, but the last 4 of my phone # are 7332)
If 15 ppl send 18$, I have just enough money to stay with my homie til Dec 27th. (Which is a month of being housed, I got here on the 27th.) I need to get them as close to half of that as possible by the end of this week (December 8th.)
Overall goal: 270-300 to have a place to crash thru December, a little extra to get me some warm clothes would be nice but I can’t really ask for that.
I know things are hard for everyone right now. Please help me survive this part.
Im so sad that I am spending the holidays destitute when I thought I’d be warm in my apartment with my kitties. Im alone, and it’s scary. I want to live.
Please reblog and boost, I am desperate for any and all help I can get.

People always say “who is going to pay for it?” as if it’s some profound “gotcha!”
The rich. The rich can pay for it. They did in the past and they can do it again.
In the 1930s and 1940s the United States was facing a debt crisis much like todays. The government was running out of money coming out of the Great Depression and going into World War 2, and the economy wasn’t doing too well. Everything was falling apart, much like it is now. What was the solution?
And it worked. The US working middle class and the economy did awesome well through the 50s and 60s. The working middle class was wealthier than ever before and wealthier than it’s ever been. Regular people like you and me. Public infrastructure flourished. States had the budgets to build free colleges. College used to be free by the way. It wasn’t until Ronald Reagan’s advisors warned him how “dangerous” an “educated proletariat” was (those are his words), that major universities started to see cuts in public funding and had to start charging tuition.
Today, the top 1% is only taxed at 43% and has been dropping since Ronald Reagan’s presidency. Reagan also set the precedent of ignoring labor and union rights, violating both domestic (NLRA, Wagner Act) and international (United Nations bill of rights) law. This too has only ever been made worse by Republican policy as time has gone on with yet more tax cuts for the wealthy. Look up the actual policies. Don’t take a politicians word, read their actual policy. They will and do lie to you.
Do y’all understand now why the US debt is going up so fast? It’s because Trump cut that tax rate even more, amassing a whopping 20% of our current total national debt within only 4 years. The debt ceiling was raised THREE TIMES during Trump’s presidency, the uppermost tax bracket was cut even more, and massive corporate bailout loans were forgiven. Research the PPE loans. This has been Republican policy for 40+ years.
The systemic deconstruction of the middle class and the government in favor of corporate control. We are living in a repeat of the Gilded Age of the Industrial Revolution. The railroads and the banks own and control everything, including the government.
These are facts. Read it in any history book.
Or you can just ban those books too and pretend it didn’t happen. That would be a mistake though.
If you wanna know how our economy has REALLY been doing for the last 40 years, I suggest looking into the Economic Policy Institute. Or ask any working class American how they have been doing lately, especially those of us who are young, trying to make it.
Our current struggle is not caused by the “Woke Mob” as propaganda outlet Fox News will tell you.
(Do any of you even know what “woke” means? It means you are aware and attentive to the fact that systematic societal issues and flaws exist. Wether it be race issues, income issues, whatever. Being “woke” literally means you’re not a sheep who follows along anything that the media and government tell you. Thats what it means. Literally look it up. I grew up as this word came to popularity. It’s been around for a very long time. The GOP is taking advantage of the fact that you don’t know what it is, and using it as a fear mongering tactic to channel your anger at your neighbor instead of the corporations pulling the strings. It is corporate propaganda).
Our current struggle is caused by the class warfare waged by corporate scum as they buy all of our politicians in return for bailing out the government’s debt. Both left and right, our politicians have been bought. None of them work for you. They work for the big corporations lining their pockets through unlimited lobbying.
So, when y’all say “I don’t wanna pay for it”- don’t worry, you aren’t going to be paying for it. The middle class will not be paying for it. The multi-billionaire corporations stealing your labor will be paying for it. The rich goons who increase the price of your groceries and lay you off all in the name of making a few extra bucks will be paying for it.
Do some research and you’ll see exactly why and when we got into this mess.
It’s not that complicated. It really isn’t.
Tax. The. Rich.

The year is 2033. Twitter’s agonising crash into bankrupcy has imparted a singular message on the people of Earth: No ammount of money can buy one iota of competence. In the wake of this revelation, billionaires are dragged from their mansions, burned alive in the streets, and feasted upon by the masses in a world-spanning summer barbeque, that will one day be referred to as “The Juicy Justice Jamboree”.
A Half-chicken-fried Elon Musk will smugly insist that, actually, this was all part of his plan to redistribute the wealth by shaking the publics faith in the 1%. This will not be a thinly-veiled attempt to save avoid his finger-licking fate. In fact, Elon will not even be alive in this moment. The childish, self-serving, face-saving lies spewing from his mouth-watering corpse will simply be his body’s natural reflexive response, the death throws of a life lived in an imagined reality, enabled by the limitless resources of an increasingly-exploited humanity.
A section of the population will believe Musk’s claims, forming a widespread cult, and attempt to overthrow the new world. Their plans of revolution will be halted, however, as they soon find that such a task would require leaving the home, and interacting with women.
Before being ground down and turned into sausages, Martin Shkreli will be forced to Overdose on vast quantities of Insulin, and his resulting Hot Dogs will be given exclusively to diabetics.
A Joanne Rowling stew will be prepared by a diverse, multicultural, multiethnic crew of culinary staff, that feature representation of every gender identity, gender expression sexual preference, romantic preference, race, ethnicity, nationality, neurology, religious and political beliefs. Despite the efforts gone to assure her that wealth status is the motivation for inclusion in the chosen recipe, she will insist it is a misogynist plot orchestrated by transgendered, jewish snowflakes, and that the vast majority of people are actually perfectly happy about her use of poor children as indentured servants and furniture. The flavour profile of the resulting stew will be characterised “very bitter”.
The only billionaire to avoid being eaten will be Jeffrey Bezos, who will instead be lost his Amazon delivery escort on the way to the barbeque. His corpse will be discovered 3 months later, his bones pulverised as a result of being recklessly forced into mailbox obviously too small for his mass.
The overcooked Trump steaks will remain untouched, left to go stale, and eventually fed to the many wild dogs, coyotes, and foxes of the neighbourhood, who reluctantly eat the old, fatty meat.

nonprofits are overrated. if you really wanted to help people you would prove economic democracy, helping others, and improving communities is popular and profitable and actually start taking over huge sections of the economy to democratize them and organize apps, software, logistical systems, communities to run it all. in other words, profiting collectively from the redistribution wealth and power to the people of the world

No free rides for old money! - Pass The Billionaires Income Tax Act! (S. 3367)
I am writing to express my strong support for the proposed S. 3367 bill, which aims to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. This legislation represents a crucial step towards achieving economic justice by seeking to eliminate tax loopholes that have allowed billionaires to defer taxes indefinitely. By doing so, we would be ensuring a fairer distribution of wealth and rectifying a system that has long favored the ultra-wealthy. Additionally, the bill modifies over 30 tax provisions, requiring billionaires to contribute annually. It's time to ensure that those with the most significant influence and wealth contribute proportionately to our society's well-being. Therefore, I urge you to support and pass the Billionaires Income Tax Act.
Billionaires have amassed vast wealth, often at the expense of their employees who struggle to make ends meet on minimum wages. It is only just and equitable that they pay their employees a living wage AND contribute proportionally to the betterment of our society.
Furthermore, if billionaires wield significant influence over our government and policy-making, they should demonstrate their commitment by financially supporting the very system that has allowed them to prosper. No longer should they enjoy free rides on the backs of hardworking taxpayers. It is past time to ensure that billionaires are contributing their fair share to the well-being of our country.
Passing the Billionaires Income Tax Act is not only a matter of fiscal responsibility but also a moral imperative. It is time to ensure that our tax system is fair and equitable for all, not just the wealthy few.
Thank you for considering my views on this important issue. I urge you to stand on the side of fairness and justice by supporting S.3367.
No free rides for old money!

Don’t get my words twisted I am all for wealth distribution and eating the rich. This isn’t about that. But this common rhetoric abt the children of wealthy people “never having gone through anything” or “never experienced hardship”—how do you know that, exactly? Are you in their house? Do you think material wealth makes better people and reduces parents’ propensity to beat, molest, or otherwise abuse their children? Do you think that maybe their “privilege” is used as a tactic to keep them quiet? Yes wealth comes with innate advantages and these kids may never pay a college or hospital bill but the amount of grandiose assumptions being made about strangers’ home lives is very hmm. And saying you’re going to bully your local rich kids is just . . . why, exactly? Will that pay your bills? Are you just looking for a socially acceptable target to bully? perhaps you just like bullying in general? Are you okay in the head?

Ignorance seems soo nice I can see why people would opt for that. Imagine consuming unethically without a care. Imagine living however you want and still be able to sleep at night. Imagine being unfamiliar with the concept of accountability.

Ms. Sandy at Edu Matrix has some of the best videos about the Iraqi dinar and it’s prospective revaluation available anywhere on the web.
Everything I’m hearing is that the RV is imminent... anywhere for hours to weeks, months tops. There’s been lots of chatter that this will be a very special Christmas. Sure, could mean anything or nothing, but Trump’s history is pretty close to unanimous in terms of his knowing something specific when he makes remarks like that.
My recommended source for IQD (Iraqi Dinar) is Egan Store (http://egan.store & Egan Shop https://eganshop.com).
Peter (the owner of Egan Store) has told me this week that he intends to start removing IQD listings soon, although he couldn’t give a date, stating that they would only sell what they can replace, but would sell as long as he could get it. So as long as they can get it they plan to make it available and help as many people as possible procure some before it’s too late.
Tumblr media
Peter is a good man and his customers love him. His business has achieved a better than 99% customer satisfaction rate selling on eBay, Etsy, other third-party platforms and from their relatively new site, EganShop.com.
Peter will be launching a plethora of currency-specific, niche collectible numismatics, coin & banknote shops — each specific to a particular nation’s currency.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Egan Shop and Egan Store have every denomination of new Iraqi dinar available for some of the best prices available anywhere online. If you find a better price, message them. If Peter can beat it he will.

"And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country," is a bold admonishment, one which Americans have failed to live up to in the face of social pressure to elect those candidates who promise to give us the most free stuff.
Way back when JFK spoke those words, they were welcomed by patriotic Americans across the nation. People want to be useful, to contribute, to make a difference in the world, and the United States has traditionally been a place where that attitude is encouraged and even rewarded.
So don't ask why the USA lacks universal healthcare. Ask why do Americans uniquely donate so much more of their income to charity than the rest.
Partly it's because we're better paid, but largely it's to support our communities while maintaining our sense of individuality. Here's the thing: when the sovereign attempts to buy its citizens' loyalty, people discover that loyalty can be sold, and that insight is devastating to our inherent patriotism. Entitlement programs compel us to ask what our country can do for us, to reject JFK's admonition.
Americans have long understood that governments exist primarily to govern and secondarily to provide what social services only governments can. We begrudgingly accept government as a necessary evil while we work to provide for ourselves and take pride in our ability to do so. As young and pioneering as our culture is, we've acquired a frontier spirit that has worked so well for so long that we are loathe to abandon it. So we still look out for our neighbors in lieu of the dole, only applying for government services when better options are unavailable.
That's why Americans have the highest rate of individual charitable donations in the world. Charities let us provide for the needy and enjoin us to personally help our fellow citizens get back on their own two feet. But our own government cynically competes with us on that score.
I realize how jaded this sounds, but the government dole is a vote-buying scheme disguised as charity. Ideally, taxpayers would feel like they've contributed something useful to humanity for having paid their taxes, but instead it engenders a blithe have-the-maid-do-it mentality.
Truthfully, government welfare programs aren't that much more wasteful or less efficient than the average charity organization, but if a charity wastes revenue, we can always redirect our donations to another one or simply stop donating outright. Taxes by contrast are compulsory.
Americans are keen to wasteful government spending since we have no choice but to pay up, but since we're also human beings, we always want more government benefits for ourselves. Thus are more Americans becoming greedy socialists these days and it's killing our frontier spirit.
Alas, I fear the flame of our charity is threatening to snuff itself out in the face of socialist greed. Charitable giving is harder to fit into the household budget when the government takes so much and then uses it to buy our loyalty. Wealth redistribution is lethal to charity.
There ought to be a constitutional amendment which states that if the people can adequately provide for themselves and each other, the government cannot butt in and directly complete with any charity. Oh wait, there already is, and it (the 10th) was ratified over two centuries ago.
Tumblr media
Our 'federal' government transformed itself into a national government so gradually that nobody has lived long enough to notice. Now, Uncle Sam has his hands in far too many domestic matters. Welfare, Medicare and social retirement funds are rightly matters for states to decide. States, after all, are far more accountable and accessible to 'We the People' than our distant and opaque federal government. We deserve more of a say in the dispensation of our tax dollars and far more transparency than federal entitlement programs provide.
As it is, most of us tend to just pay Uncle Sam and then leave him to his own devices, blindly trusting that he's got things under control, only checking in on him every two to four years. This have-the-maid-do-it attitude has an antidote: if you want it done right then do it yourself.
Unlike all federal entitlement programs, you can directly contribute your time, your diligence and your oversight to many charitable organizations by volunteering. You'll accomplish far more for your fellow man in that way than by simply paying your taxes and hoping for the best.
And you'll forget what the government owes you when you see your donations and your personal efforts make a real difference in your community. You'll embody John F. Kennedy's "Ask not what your country can do for you" mindset and you'll abolish socialism from your heart.
It's entirely possible to eliminate all federal entitlement programs and replace them with some combination of state entitlement programs, charitable organizations and a robust insurance industry. It's something we should do so our federal government can embrace federalism again.
It's long past time we stopped thinking of the government as our Uncle Samta Klaus come down the chimney with gifts of free healthcare, pensions, and family leave. He only wants your loyalty and he'll buy it with your own taxes. Give your loyalty instead to your fellow Americans.
Give more than your loyalty. Give also of your income, that which you can spare, and give of your free time as well and it will signify that your loyalty is not for sale because it already belongs to your community, your nation and your God. Blessings shared are blessings earned.
