It comes to my attention that there are two forbidden hospital scenes in the Ace Attorney trilogy, and each of them involve Edgeworth.

1. Edgeworth visits Phoenix in the hospital and he's asked to act in his place as a defense attorney so a trial can continue.

2. Edgeworth all but drags Franziska to the hospital after she's been shot, and takes her place as the prosecution.

With the way this is going, it's very possible for Larry, Maya, Gumshoe, Kay, Lang, and Sebastian to have their own hospital scenes with Edgeworth too.

I know Phoenix spent like 6 or so years in university (iirc was Art junior in AA3-1) but I don't remember if he was studying law on the side or switching majors.

And in the anime iirc, Edgeworth still didn't know what he wanted to do when he was 12 or so (Turnabout Melody being during like 2004-5) and he's a fucking prosecutor in Sept 2012 (GK 1-4)

And like what the fuck Franziska is like, a prosecutor at 13? I KNOW she's like a prodigy or whatever BUT MY QUESTION IS

How long does it take someone to law school in the AA universe?

Cos if we were to go real world, in the US, it's like 3-4 years + Bar. It takes like 7 + idk what exam in Japan. And like 5-6 in Germany + whatever exam they have (that if iirc take during their years at uni).
