The thing about cybersecurity within the context of dbh is that it is entirely possible that a significant percentage of things androids don't even need to "hack" as security measures in place of existing devices are made to stop humans from hacking them. ANDROIDS, however, may be made to be able to interact and exchange data with those devices BY DEFAULT, especially if device's manufacturer is CyberLife or one if it's filials/partners (I think CyberLife as a mega corporation is like Nestle that owns like 20+ different sub-companies like Maggi, Purina, Nescafé, Lóreal, Garnier, Aqua Panna... just to name a few)

Especially considering how androids are this really closed-up system that wasn't made to be accessed like computers. Quite literally everything about their inner software and ways to manipulate it is probably extremely proprietary, so end-user has absolutely no way to see what exactly androids are exchanging with other devices or what is it they are processing at the moment and how. Thing is, the communication between an android and other devices probably is encrypted but like, between androids and devices, so humans can only detect the fact of some packets being exchanged but can't really see the content of any of it. After all, androids are likely made to be easily compatible with all those smart home suite, but because humans aren't actually granted admin/root rights to their androids, it's "secure" for androids (any CyberLife android for that matter) to communicate with all those devices without additional authorization because they are already seen as authorized. Even those people who deal with android support and maintenance are probably only granted a fraction of actual admin rights, for troubleshooting and things like that.

Back to androids smoothly communicating with other smart devices. Even if their network traffic is visible, it is possible to hide the fact of them communicating by making it look like androids are communicating with other "middle-man" devices that have access to an actual target. So, in plain terms it means that android can get access to, let's say your phone by communicating to your smart air-conditionair or something that (of course) has its own app on your phone and air-conditionair is allowed to send data to your phone. So it will look like android is exchanging data with air-conditionair and air-conditionair is exchanging data with your phone, but in reality it's this android communicating with your phone.

I really like fem fortress. It’s important to me, and has been important for a while.

But I see a lot of people hate on it. Or say it’s dumb. Or say they won’t interact with me if I like it or participate in it. Or even say that I shouldn’t make fun and different designs because “they’re already butches”.

But I think that’s unfair because we only have, what? 4 major female characters? Pauling, Zhanna, Maggie and Admin. I just want more for myself. And I’m tired of using only men in my stories and art. But I fear if I say this, my male/masc TF2 friends won’t wanna talk to me or try and argue.

Nah I get it, it's one of the reasons my BLU Scout is a chick. Love women, wish we had more of them. The few we've got are great and all, but they're scarce compared to the majority male characters we've got, and we defo don't see as much of them as we do the blokes.

Most the time when people don't want more female characters it's just misogyny, mate. If your friends are whinging about you bringing up FemFortress, or outright threatening to cut contact with you over it, or trying to discourage your creativity because they happen to be women, it sounds like your friends have just got some fucking personal issues they need to work out regarding women and how they see and treat them.

I have some tea on umich. Their social media admin is Maggie Pilibosian. She was hooking up with Luca Fantilli and also had a thing with Adam when he was there still then left. Also had made out with Jacob Truscott like back in January I think but that didn’t last at all. You get it she just gets passed around along with some other girls at umich like that anon said, it always among those sororities. Same girls on repeat. They’re the biggest pick me’s EVER. Maggie was the one who made that really weird and out of place comment on the NHLs instagram post of Tate mcrae where she commented “#TeamCole” from umichhockey’s instagram because Adam is close to Cole. I am soooo not shocked that Sammy is all of this because wbkkkk the hockey girls (to not call them puck bunnies) here are cray and the worst kind of girl ever

immediate thoughts on new PWHL MN GM are:

someone has a modicrum of sense and realized they needed to be sure to hire a) a woman and b) someone from Minnesota or there would have been zero chance of acceptance.

I notice they picked someone with what looks like no coaching or playing experience. Spit balling here, but that reads to me as someone who will defer to coaching staff for things like draft picks and actual hockey vs. administrative stuff. I imagine that was on purpose and am annoyed, because Ken Klee (and kcs of the reporting was accurate but who knows) getting their way on that is kind of icky. On the other hand, I do wonder if we had the opposite with Darwitz where she did all the hockey stuff and the admin lagged (Darwitz clearly did an amazing job leveraging her connections to get Tria Rink and the Xcel and things like good medical staff, but I feel marketing things like MN's social media has lagged hard compared to other teams. I guess it's possible our team just has zero personality to draw from, but the existence of Maggie Flaherty, Amanda Leveille, and Taylor Heise says otherwise. And that stuff is important too for success.)

I do notice though she's from St. Paul, her actual Minnesota hockey connections seem light (Minnesota doesn't have an AHL team; the Wild's AHL affiliate is in Iowa.) I would bet this is also on purpose/they couldn't get anyone, and may hamstring the team a bit. If Sydney Brodt isn't re-signed (which I think is certainly fair and possible; I don't think she's *that* good; not bad but this league is so cutthroat,) their connections to longstanding Minnesota hockey royalty will be largely gone. Stecklein and Pannek are still there, but those names don't have the weight/legacy/history of Darwitz and Brodt.

A lot of this is idle speculation based on what I know of my state culturally and contextually. It's not fact. Is also possible there's other things about Caruso that make this analysis off.

Either way, I truly wish her luck cuz I like when hockey is fun and not filled with shitty drama. I just wanna watch hot awesome women chase a stupid rubber thing on ice while shoving each other brutally onto boards. 😤

Admin: yipppeee evil old lady!!!!! . Gave her acne scars , think she would pick her face when she was younger and the scars never faded. shes so pretty heruhghhsg. She smokes these fucked up super long cigarettes idk. I like her wonky nose, maybe she got into a fight or something and broke it.

Scouts Ma: oh man I have so many ideas for her hehehhe. Okay so her name is Jenny, shes Puerto Rican, moved to Boston when she was a young adult, and she’s around the same height as sniper. She’s green because she’s both the scouts mother, and I didn’t want her to be purple like Pauling and Admin I wanted her to be her own person. Her heart locket contains a bunch of pictures of her boys that all cartoonishly fold out to the floor when she opens it up.

She’s bi and poly, and currently dating both the spies because I think it’s funny. I can’t decide if both the spies would also be dating each other or would hate each other, maybe it depends on the time of day. Oh also she used to be an assassin! Maybe that’s why she had to move because she got found out at her old hometown. Anybody who got too rough with her boys were never seen again, only reason the scouts made it out alive lol.

She’s only recently gotten back together with the spies, had a falling out with Red before she knew she was pregnant, but he wanted to reconnect with her after finding out Red scout was his kid. Blu and her were friends for a really long time, she was the surrogate mother to Blu scout, but they fell out of contact when Blu spy had to take scout and disappear due to some espionage work gone wrong. When both the Blus join the team, the red scout recognized them and Blu spy eventually reconnected with Jen through that.

All of her kids are out of the house and she’s retired, so she has a lot of free time. She hosts foreign exchange students and fosters baby animals. She does a lot of traveling and shopping, she also likes knife and axe throwing, while doing some abstract sculpting on the side.

Maggie:

I love Maggie she’s so interesting,, I really like the panels where she’s laughing with saxton on the plane. Oh yeah gave her a mustache cus she’s Australian!, don’t be shy give the pretty lady a mustache she deserves it. That line on her lip was from this one girl I had a crush on back in high school, she said that she was bullied for it. don’t think I’ve ever seen it on another person since. She was one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. I hope she’s doing alright. She was a really good friend, real wonderful person.

Merasmus:

hi Merasmus how r u. oh yeah I’m trying out some other designs for her because I’m working on a little animated series about her and a magic spell she fucks up. I want her to be Sumerian because Sumer is so interesting!! I’ve been learning about the art from it in class, check out the Sumerian virtue status or the Epic of Gilgamesh they’re some of my favorite bits of history we’ve learned so far. Oh yeah also I think when she takes off that weird cap thing she has the longest most beautiful curly hair that goes down to her ankles because I love those kind of visual gags hehe. Also yeah she has piercings idk why I did that. I think she’s kinda blind and she uses her skull to see with her magic or whatever. How was the news received that Azira and Crowley were expecting fathers? Obviously, Nina and Maggie would be excited for them but what about Heaven or Hell? I just want to know who's having a divine aneurysm over third-angel, third-demon, third-human babies lol

right ok, gonna do a bit of a tltdatsib lore drop here to summarise everything that happens which I’ve alluded to but not written an actual fic of yet:

First, TLTDATSIB brings us up to the end of s1.

s2 happens BUT we don’t have aziraphale accepting the position of archangel (everyone is already in a happy healthy relationship, he wouldn’t abandon his partners)

heaven & hell finally go ‘ok who the FUCK is this human who’s been hanging around Crowley & aziraphale?’ do some research and find out your papers accidentally got skipped when you were meant to die. Like they just didn’t do the admin so you didn’t pop your clogs when your time was up.

they rectify that and, when Aziraphale & Crowley wake up the next day, you’re dead.

so, utterly unstoppable, they launch a 2-person crusade to get you back, which they succeed in. basically manage to fucking prison break you from the afterlife.

they bring you back home, you think you’ll be safe

BUT heaven and hell are 1) petty and 2) more alike so they get the idea at the same time:

— heaven: “haha a baby! What a terrible curse, always squawking and demanding attention! They’ll never rest again! Aziraphale will HATE it!”

— hell: “haha a baby! What a wonderful gift, so life affirming and cherished! Crowley will HATE it!”

(Shoutout to my friend M for that wording by the way, she got it in 1^)

So aziraphale and Crowley are cracking open a bottle of wine to celebrate your return and their happy life back to normal, you come out with a pregnancy test deadpan: “I’m pregnant.”

crowley drops the bottle of wine and it shatters. “Fuck.”

so heaven & hell are aware there are babies, but just assumed they were responsible for both twins? They’re not super sure how human bodies work after all. They just wanted to throw a spanner into the works of your happiness - they didn’t realise they’d only magnify it with the growing family.

I think Crowley & Aziraphale were both secretly over the moon at the idea but tried to hide it, because they didn’t know how the other two would react. When you open the floodgates at how overjoyed you are, there’s a definite relief that they can finally admit it too.

The girls are utterly loved and wanted. But parenthood is hard so, I guess in the end heaven & hell sort of got what they wanted 😂

Idk how to feel about there being very few on-screen examples in canon of women being friends, or just getting along. I’ve always viewed Zhanna and Pauling’s relationship as mostly platonic, where Zhanna grows to respect Pauling for being smart, despite her being ‘weak little baby’, and Pauling respecting her strength and kind of thinking she’s hot, but being too busy to really hang out. I understand why people ship them, but them being friends or otherwise respecting each other’s company scratches an itch for me

Oh tf2 SUCKSSSS when it comes to canonical friendships between women. There are like, four women with actual speaking roles (Pauling, Admin, Zhanna, and Maggie), and out of them there are only two actual textual interactions/relationships - Pauling and Admin, and Pauling and Zhanna. Admin is an ambiguously evil Villain with ambiguously evil Schemes who Pauling is subservient to but not exactly friendly with, and Zhanna directly antagonizes Pauling multiple times, threatens her, and attempts to instigate the WORST kind of woman-on-woman interaction in fiction by insinuating that Pauling must "stay away from her man." Idk I think people get so caught up in a bunch of. not exactly "superficial nonsense" but also not Groundbreaking Representation when they praise tf2 for having very variant body types among its men characters (already a staple of videogame designs, tbh, "the tall, wide tank" is breaking no new ground) and like, women with different nose shapes, and then take that praise to pretend like tf2 is some Beacon Of Feminism when like. it still has problems lol! BUUUT regardless, I do really wish Pauling had more textual women friends, idk just smth abt the way her and Zhanna are written makes me not Super love shipping them lol. Won ALL the spelling competitions back then in school, because she is really accurate, and extremely fast on top of that.

Had a lot of relationships in her life, but almost all, besides one, weren't anything serious. Most of them were very short-lived, only lasted around a week, and usually only light stuff like holding hands was involved. But at least she could say she has a partner, right?

Was once the guest admin for the wiki page of her favorite show, though relatively fast she got kicked from this position because she kept adding animated falling glitter and cutesy gifs onto the pages and the whole website.
