A stands for AFFECTION: how would they show affection?

•Aemond is a gift giver to the extreme

•From the moment you found out about your betrothal to your Uncle, you had been receiving gorgeous dresses, fantastic shoes and jewelry you could never have imagined wearing. All of the jewelry you were gifted containing large sapphires in the necklaces or earrings, staking the One Eyed Princes claim on you

B stands for BLOODY: how bloody are they willing to get for their object of obsession?

•He loves getting bloody on a normal occasion so getting bloody for you would be a joy for Aemond

•He would slaughter any and all men who dared even think they had a chance with his girl and he even killed a few women who thought it their place to ‘warn you’ about what he’s like and insist you needed to get out of the marriage proposal, even though you all knew that was impossible

C stands for CRUELTY: would they ever hurt their object of obsession?

•Aemond would avoid harming you as much as possible, he never liked to see pain on your face or bruises on your perfect porcelain skin but if you thought you were going to defy him then he needed to teach you a lesson

•Normally locking you in your rooms was enough after two days of isolation and eating all of your meals alone

•Only once did Aemond ever really hurt you and it was only after you had pushed him too far, something even you admitted he couldn’t ignore in public

D stands for DARLING: would they cross their object of obsession’s limits?

•Aemond is as patient as he can be with you but if you give him no other choice, then yes, he absolutely will

E stands for EXPOSED: how much do they expose their own feelings to their object of obsession?

•Aemond talks to you about almost everything

•One of your jobs as his wife is to listen to him and you quickly find out you’re the only person that he really tells about how he feels about everything from his mother to his brother to even his father

•He is also very open in how he feels about you, making it clear from the moment you are betrothed that you are his and he is completely obsessed with you loves you dearly

F stands for FIGHT: how would they react to their object of obsession fighting back?

•Aemond absolutely thinks it’s funny…for about 5 minutes

•You are his wife and him your husband, you will behave as a lady is expected to behave within the confines of her marriage so ‘fighting back’ isn’t really much of an option

G stands for GAME: do they think this is just a game?

•You are Aemond’s everything, this is no game

•Anyone who thinks it is will get a painful wake up call sooner than they think

H stands for HELL: what would be their object of obsession’s worst experience with them?

•Your worst experience would be the one time you made the mistake of refusing his demands in front of the small council

•Aemond didn’t want to harm you, he was trying quite hard to get you used to being his wife and doing your duties/behaving how he expected you to but you didn’t give him much of an option before you felt his hand strike your face so painfully you briefly thought he had broken your jaw

•He apologized for hitting you so hard later in the privacy of your rooms but informed you that you shouldn’t have said anything against him in front of anyone especially the small council and even you knew how badly you had messed up as soon as the words left your mouth

•Aemond’s plan is impregnating you

•That has been his plan since the moment he insisted his mother ensure you were going to be his wife

J stands for JEALOUSY: how they react when jealous? Do they get jealous?

•When Aemond is jealous someone is going to die, he is a violent man when he thinks another man is getting close to his wife and he will often publicly punish any man who he thinks is looking at his Princess wrong

•You learned very quickly to talk to other men as little as possible

•However you also learned that if you wanted a man dead you had a sure fire way to make it happen

K stands for KINDNESS: how they act around their object of obsession?

•When you and Aemond are alone he is much different than he is in public

•Aemond is usually a sweet, gentle person with you when he isn’t in a bad mood or you’re not being difficult

•Even when in public he is gentler with you than most men are with their wives, he’s just far more quiet and somber

L stands for LOVE LETTER: how would they approach their object of obsession?

•He made sure his mother knew he would only accept you as his wife, and that if Rhaenyra made the mistake of trying to marry you to anyone else he would steal you away before any wedding could take place and burn the Lords house to the ground, ally of the Hightowers or not

•Aemond was quite sweet to you, he always had been when you were children however he was a proper gentleman now and he ensured you were as happy as you could be…obsessively so

M stands for MASK: how different are their public persona from their true selves?

•He is quiet for the most part in public, and if he must say something it is usually a snarky comment or a backhanded insult

•With you he is very attentive and often needy for your attention which is actually what makes you fall for him in the end, loving his desperation for you

N stands for NAUGHTY: how would they punish their object of obsession?

•Aemond locks you in your chambers until you can’t stand being alone anymore and admit you were wrong for whatever, you never really need anything more than that

O stands for OPPRESSION: how many rights would they take from their object of obsession?

•Rights?

•What are rights?

•You are Aemond’s wife. You will do what is expected of a highborn lady wife or be punished. Even so, Aemond tries to make you as happy as he can and doesn’t order you about as much as he could

P stands for PATIENCE: how patient are they with their object of obsession?

•Aemond tries his best to be very patient and to his credit he does very well until you push too hard

•Compared to other men and even other Targaryen men, he is quite patient with you, wanting you to actually learn lessons and want to be a good wife for him in the end

Q stands for QUIT: if their object of obsession died or escaped, would they ever be able to move on?

Died: He would be a complete basket case without you and he would refuse to remarry for any reason what so ever

Escaped: He would go on a rampage until he got you back. No one would be safe until he found you and had you back in his arms

R stands for REGRET: would they ever regret harming their object of obsession? Would they ever let them go?

•Aemond will Never let you go

•He would only ever regret how hard he slapped you once in a small council meeting, he hated how afraid of him you were in that moment

S stands for STIGMA: what made their yandere tendencies bloom?

•You had always been the only one in the family who was kind to Aemond, being his best friend as kids

•He knew you would be his wife from the moment you first stuck up for him during the pig prank to your brothers and uncle, that was the day he fell completely in love with you

•He decided that night that he would do whatever he needed to do in order to make you his wife, even though he knew his mother would want to marry him to another house and that Rhaenyra would never want you to be with him

T stands for TEARS: how would they react to their object of obsession crying/breaking?

•Anger

•Your tears brings out a rage in Aemond that is not often seen and he will slaughter whoever has made you so upset

•If he were the one to upset you however, he wouldn’t really know how to fix that. He would typically hold you until you either calmed down or cried yourself out and then get you a gift as an apology since “apologizing” isn’t really something he knows how to do very well

U stands for UNIQUE: something different they would do compared to others yanderes.

•In the beginning of your relationship, before the wedding was set and you were staying as far from him as you could, Aemond came up with a plan to make you dependent on him and feel safe with him to ensure you wouldn’t try and run back home to Rhaenyra and Daemon (who was the only man you seemed to trust which enraged him to no end)

•Aemond had Criston Cole hire a man to sneak into the castle with the intent to kill you. He planed it out meticulously to ensure you were never in any real danger though you wouldn’t know that

•The man entered your chambers as you were getting ready to sleep and you shrieked, backing towards the window, pleading with him not to harm you and telling him that he could leave and you would forget he was ever there. Suddenly your door flew open and Aemond ran in, he was on the man before you could blink, beating his head in as he shouted about how he would never let anyone harm his wife

•It was that night that you really began giving Aemond the chance to win your love, realizing that you were truly safe with him. The entire plot was a secret that Aemond would take to his grave

V stands for VICE: what weakness their object of obsession could use against them?

•His jealousy, 100%

•If you want someone, anyone dead, all you need to do is make it seem like they’ve been looking at you for more than a second too long, it gives you a feeling of absolute power and you love it

W stands for WIT’S END: would they hurt their object of obsession?

•Aemond would never hurt you in any kind of serious way

•If he has to he will lock you in your chambers for the rest of your life, but he won’t do you serious harm

X stands for XOANON: would they worship their object of obsession?

•He definitely has a way of making you feel like a Goddess

•Especially when you’re pregnant as he worships the ground you walk on. He is constantly getting you whatever food you’re craving, fluffing your pillows, rubbing your sore feet, anything to make his precious Princess feel better while she is carrying his baby inside of her

•You are the most precious thing in the whole world to him and even when he is upset with you Aemond never lets you forget it

Y stands for YEARN: how long would they pine after their object of obsession before they snap?

•Aemond has always loved you, and always had a bit of a crush on you however he has been head over heels since he was 10

•He keeps it together and hidden until he is 16 and he demands you as his bride upon hearing that Rhaenyra was considering marriage proposals for you, the idea of you being married off to someone else sending him over the edge

Z stands for ZENITH: would they ever break their object of obsession?

•Aemond doesn’t want you broken, he wants you to be his compliant little Princess and that’s exactly what you are

•You had always known what was expected of you as a women and a wife in a marriage from the time that you were a little girl (though you never expected to be married to your Uncle) but Aemond ensured that you would be exactly what he always wanted in a wife and you are absolutely Perfect to him

"I don't understand what she wants, though," you said, "if you don't want her, destroying my life and even taking my life is not going to change that."

Aemond stirred his coffee, "Alys is at her most dangerous when she doesn't see what's clearly staring her in the face. She thinks if my only options are to go back to her or to lose everything I love, I will go back to her." His jaw tightened, and his eyes narrowed. "And that is where the bitch is wrong."

The elevator bell rang and Gendry stepped out, holding hands with a young woman who carried herself as if she were far taller than the five feet you guessed she was at. "Hey all."

"Lord of Storm's End," Aemond said, one corner of his mouth lifting. "And the Lady of Storm's End, of course."

"Arya will do," the young woman said, embracing Aemond, "Your Highness," she smiled as she looked up at him. She turned to you, "hi, I fucking hate Alys Rivers, let's unalive her, shall we?"

You couldn't help but smile as Arya pulled you into a hug. She was tiny, but the power in her muscles was undeniable.

"Unalive?"

Gendry hugged you, then turned to Aemond. "She's gone all Gen Z with the lingo. You should have seen her in the 80s."

Arya leaned in to whisper at you. "The 80s were amazing. My hair caught fire once because I had so much Aqua Net in it."

You watched Gendry close his eyes and sigh, but his mouth was still curved in a gentle smile.

"Choose whatever guest room you want, make yourselves comfortable while you're here."

"These are stunning," Arya said, rushing to the windows. When she saw that you had followed her and were looking out at your burned down shop, she pressed her lips together. "I'm sorry."

"Me too," you said quietly. "But no one was hurt, which is good."

Arya smiled. "Well, we'll make sure someone gets hurt in the end," she said, and then turned with a flourish to inspect the rest of the place.

Aemond came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist. "If you're at all unsure-"

You turned in his arms. "I am not. I know what I want." Raising a hand to his face, you pressed your lips to his. "I want you, I want us."

He wrapped a hand around the back of your neck, "good. Because I want us, too, and loving you is not something I want to do for a few years or even a few decades. I want to love you for eternity."

"Why me?"

Aemond looked over, saw her sipping at her coffee as she studied him.

"What?"

She smiled, that gentle smile he saw whenever he thought of her. "Why me? I'm sure you've met more beautiful, more clever, more-"

"Because you saw me for me," he replied, putting down his coffee and walking across his office to where she sat on the sofa. He'd insisted on having breakfast there, not just so he could work while he had his morning meal, but so they wouldn't be always looking over at the burned down coffee shop.

The rebuild had started in a very basic way, until she decided what she wanted in more detail. But he caught the grief in her face whenever she looked at it and had decided to spend more time in his office.

"I wanted you, yes, but I have wanted others over the decades, and they were not what you were. What you are."

"Which is?"

"You understand me."

"I understand a centuries-old Targaryen prince who is a vampire," she said, eyebrows raised.

Aemond smiled and sat next to her. "You didn't know that when you met me. When you befriended me. When you came to me after that bastard dared try to hurt you." He took her hand in his, kissed the back. "You were drawn to me, not any of the things that I am, or was."

"If I don't make it-"

"Don't say that." Aemond's hands tightened on hers.

"Listen to me, please." She looked at him, "I want you to sell the land where the shop is, and split it between Katie and Bailey. They were counting on-"

Aemond grabbed her shoulders. "This is why Gendry and Arya are here, why we're starting tonight."

"I know. But I also know that you've all lived through things I can't imagine, and that Alys is determined. And she has people working for her."

"Fine," Aemond said. "But we will prevail, when all is said and done. And Alys will lose."

He kissed her, and she wrapped your arms around him, knowing he didn't want to speak of this any more. The possibility of everything going badly was there, but for now, he would only entertain life as the outcome.

She had always understood him, even from that first day, when she had no idea what she was welcoming in to her shop. When she rushed to him amidst the policemen, unaware he would have taken her on the floor if need be, and he would have drank from her.

But the more she knew, the more she accepted, and his desire began to turn into something he hadn't felt in a long time.

And he would not let anything or anyone take that away.

He'd dressed in his usual greys and blacks, and with Gendry and Arya wearing similarly hued outfits, you felt like a peacock in your blue sweater and the green scarf you had around your neck.

Arya had immediately fought Aemond for the chair with the best view of all the exits, and he'd given in, as long as he sat next to you.

After dinner, you were enjoying some drinks when you brought up a short vacation. "Why don't we do that, then? Get away for a while."

"I have work," Aemond snapped. "You know, the thing that keeps us fed and housed."

You considered his words, "I know, but going to Dorne for a couple of months wouldn't be bad. Leave all this behind, maybe get some inspiration for-"

"Leave all this behind," Aemond interrupted, "you mean my life, my work?" he threw back the rest of his whiskey, placed the glass back on the table with a loud thump.

"Aemond, I wasn't saying-"

"Maybe we should get the bill," Arya said, signaling to Gendry. "Call it a night."

"No, I want to clear things up," Aemond continued, and you shrank back into your chair. "You want me to leave everything behind so you can get inspiration? I've paid your employees' wages for six months, I'm putting my best people in charge of renovations, so you can continue your little fantasy of owning a coffee shop."

"Aemond." You touched his arm and he pulled away.

"You were barely breaking even, baby. The selling points were that the shop was nearby, open and available." He laughed then, a nasty sound full of bitterness. "Much like its owner."

Your hand had struck his cheek before you'd realized it, and you stood, the world around you going still.

"You fucking asshole," Arya spat, throwing her water at Aemond's face. "Let's go, Gendry," she said, and when Gendry didn't move, she threw her napkin at his. "Well, fuck you, too, then!"

She grabbed your hand while you and Aemond stared at each other, and pulled you until your feet began to move. You followed her, your blood pounding in your ears, and a few minutes later, you were leaving the area in a cab she'd hailed.

"That was harsh," Gendry said later as he and Aemond sat at a nearby bar.

"Maybe," Aemond muttered, twirling the shot glass in his fingers, "but true. You don't know her very well but whatever we had wasn't going to anywhere." He signaled to the bartender for another one. "She is what she is, and as badly as I feel for her, I'm not going to stay with her out of guilt."

Gendry tapped his fingers on the table. "Is that all there is between you?"

Aemond shrugged. "I feel responsible, I mean, her shop didn't burn down because of faulty electrics. It's been fun. It's always fun at the beginning." He stared at his shot glass as if he could find all the answers to his inner turmoil in the carved glass. "But before she gets any ideas about spending the rest of her life with me, maybe it's better to just be honest with one another."

Gendry's tapping continued, and Aemond gave him a look. "I heard there's a new bar down the street."

"Count me in," said Gendry as he settled the tab on the table screen. "All I know is that I am not setting foot in Bar-A-Theon. This generation's fucking desperate," he mumbled as Aemond smiled.

"That's what you get when one of yours marries a Greyjoy."

There were few people on the street, Aemond noticed as they walked the couple of blocks to the next bar, as well as others who weren't quite people.

"One, three, six," Gendry said in High Valyrian, and Aemond looked at him.

"One?"

Gendry pretended to look at his phone, "blue cap, bomber jacket."

"Ah."

"Good thing you have me, innit?"

"It's always good to see you, Gendry."

N stands for NAUGHTY: how would they punish their object of obsession?

If you’ve already read my past works with Aemond, you have an idea of what is to come.

When it comes to punishment, Aemond is the worst yandere ever. Every time he punishes you, he makes sure you won’t want to break his rules for a long time, perhaps, never again.

His penalties varies between locking you away for a whole month to poking your eye out.

If I were you, I would think twice before infringing one of his rules.

O stands for OPPRESSION: how many rights would they take from their object of obsession?

Sincerely? Everyone.

You may gain one or two rights back after a long time of Aemond meticulously studying your behavior, assuring you have no intentions of running away.

After a while, he may let you walk around the Keep’s gardens; of course, with him stalking you from the shadows, his burning gaze making holes on your back.

However, at the very first slip, you will go back straight to his bed chambers, waiting for your punishment.

Z stands for ZENITH: would they ever break their object of obsession?

I would be surprised if he did not break you, like, bitch, please send me your psychiatrist number cause how the fuck would you survive Yandere!Aemond with no psychological damage???

But to be honest, differently from Daemon or Jace, Aemond wouldn’t my having a broken darling.

Question, would it be too crazy to think that if Z were stuck between “a rock and a hard place” so to speak, between Aemond and the rest of her family, she might actually choose Aemond? Like I can definitely see the Blacks doing something like trying to kill Aemond. Or Daemon being so vindictive and caught up in “I need my daughter back safe with me”, that he might try to do something impulsive to hurt Aemond without think things through.

Or maybe the Blacks actions in pursuit of either the Throne, or Z, inadvertently put Z in danger, and Aemond and takes drastic measures to secure her safety, hurting the Blacks. He’s already killed Aegon and Luke, what’s another Targaryen?🤷🏻‍♀️ Especially if she’s pregnant like we all believe.

Hi can you do Aemond x betrothed reader at the dinner scene he’s jealous of jace and reader dancing?

Aemond would scarcely admit he hadn’t expected to become so quickly enamored by his sweet tongued, kind-eyed, gentle handed betrothal. Honestly speaking, Aemond had assumed his arranged marriage could follow a similar pattern as his parents’ and siblings’—loveless and constant avoidance—he was sure that the lovely Lady that had arrived at court would have little interest in the Scarred Prince beyond the gain of gold and the title of Princess.

Yet, Aemond was surprised to find a less than timid woman, one who did not shy away from his cold gaze, nor did she pity or fear his childhood maiming.

Yes, the Prince had grown rather fond of the unusual Lady. Often Aemond spend hours with her, hidden from prying eyes by the many shelves of books of the Keep’s library.

She listened to him attentively—not just keeping up appearances of a doting and obedient wife-to-be—no, she actually enjoyed Aemond’s company; hanging off his every word as he recounted his daily training, or when he told of the history of dragons, even dared to attempt to teach her a word or two in High Valyrian. In turn, she spun tales of her home, how her brothers bickered as children, and how she feared riding a horse just as one would fear facing a dragon.

Aemond would grow to love his Lady Wife—that much he was sure of—and he had dared to hope that she would return that love ten fold.

She had all but extinguished the dragon’s fire that lived in him.

Yet, the moment his darling nephew, Jacaerys, had stepped forward—folllowing his sweet sister Heleana’s speech of marital neglect—and requested she accompany him in dance, Aemond’s mind filled with vivid images of Jacaerys burned to a crisp, curtesy of Vhagar’s breath.

To see her, in the arms of his bastard nephew as she politely accepted his dance proposal, turned his stomach to stone.

Aemond believes he knew true anger. He’d spent a good portion of his childhood angry—angry at his father, and his nephews, and at his dragon-less status. Though, as violet eyes watched his Lady and Jacaerys is dance, Aemond knew then he’d never truly experienced anger—until this moment.

It burned inside him hotter than dragon’s fire, boiling his blood and scalding his heart.

And as his nephew spun his betrothed about the empty corner of the room, Aemond could bare to witness it no more.

The whole room came to a screeching halt as Aemond slammed his fist into the table as he rose to stand tall, and mockingly held his cup in the air, “I’d like to toast to my nephews—Jace, Luke…Joffrey—each of them handsome, wise, brave…” He paused, turning to stare directly at the hand Jace had placed to the small of his Lady’s back. “And Strong.”

Not to give up the game, Jace didn’t release his partner, only twirling the pair until Jace was between his uncle and his intended before demanding, “I dare you to say that again!”

“Why?” Aemond tsked, rounding the table and taking several calculated steps towards the stationary duo. “T’was only a compliment—I would extend my toast to my beloved betrothed, I shall pray to the Gods that they make our sons as Strong as their cousins.”

The fury was evident enough on young Jace’s face, all while the quiet satisfaction of getting under his skin flooded Aemond’s.

Though, the satisfaction didn’t last nearly as long as he’d hoped—for as soon as Jacaerys fixed Aemond with a mischievous look and devious smile, Jace reestablished his hold on his uncle’s bride-to-be, and taunted, “If only there were such a way to ensure your sons’ strength, perhaps I’ll be of some help, if the Lady wouldn’t mind me—“

All at once, Aemond closed what little space remained between him and the dancing pair, and curled his fingers into his nephew’s neck like a claw, snatching the younger boy up much like a kitten at its scruff, “You’ll remove your hands from my Wife.”

“You misspoke, Uncle.” Jacaerys smirked, ignoring Aemond’s seething rage. “The Lady is not yet your wife, is she? I believe that gives her leave to do as she pleases, while she can.”

“I care not for the beliefs of a bastard,” Aemond’s words dripped with venom. “She is to be my bride—since you are so keen on pretending to be of your status—you should be aware that you are greatly overstepping.”

Jacaerys only cocked an eyebrow—a silent challenge—before his fingers curled into your side and what little room between your bodies had been erased, “Oh? Have I overstepped—“

“You will remove your hand,” Aemond was through playing this game, he did break the eye contact he held with his nephew, yet he could still see the obvious annoyance and displeasure growing on your sweet face. Aemond’s hand fluttered above the dagger strapped at his hip. “Or I shall remove it for you.”

The threat lingered in the air momentarily before, much to anyone’s surprise, the Lady squirmed out of Jacaerys’ hold and took her rightful place at Aemond’s right and placed a gentle on Aemond’s tensed arm.

“My Love,” She all but cooed at the furious dragon she would soon claim as a husband. “Let us not ruin the single night your father has requested with his family—I am unharmed and unbothered—let us not have further bloodshed between kin.”

Aemond won’t not soon let go of his hatred for his bastard nephews, but as his Lady-to-be stood by his side and looked upon him with such care and affection Aemond would afford her this kindness.

He released his blade, and his grip on Jacaerys’ neck—though he paused a moment to admire the half-moon shaped nail marks he’d left in his stead—before collecting his betrothed and whisking them both from the disastrous dinner, desiring nothing more than to be hidden away with his Lady love where they belonged.

Soon after, as the servant folks spread tales of the exciting night—a song would emerge—that of a Lady, who had managed to tame the dragon.

Aemond loves his little family.

He keeps a watchful eye over his children, making the royal guards seem redundant. Aemond often recalls the ridicule and embarrassment he’d faced as a child—and the resulting accident—and makes it a personal matter to maintain a keen eye over how the children behave towards each other, or how other children in the keep interact with his family.

Rarely does he let his half-sister and his nephews interact with his happy little family.

The Prince is unusually involved in his children’s lives for someone of his station—the responsibility typically laying with that of wet nurses and his lady-wife’s handmaidens—yet Aemond does it anyways.

He personally oversees their studies, and has taken the task upon himself of teaching his children High Valyrian—carefully correcting mispronunciations and gently calming them when their frustrations grow.

Aemond refused to be to his children what his own father was to him—neglectful and uninterested or show obvious favoritism for one over the masses—Aemond made sure all his children felt equally as loved and cherished, in their own ways of course.

His eldest son—Vaemon—was very much the warrior every royal family hoped the first born male would be. Aemond had a little wooden sword crafted and in the small boy’s hand before the child could fully walk.Aemond was often spotted training with the young lad, teaching his heir proper techniques and how to find and use one’s advantages.

A few years behind his first born, came Vaenya. Undoubtedly his scholar in the making. The young girl would rarely be found without a book in her grasp; Aemond would gift her with every newly published book he could get his hands on, though, she greatly favorite those of the world’s history—much like her father—and Aemond would enjoy quiet evenings spent by candlelight, the two of them pouring over ancient texts. Often, Aemond would teasingly correct her posture, “Slouching is unbecoming of a Princess~”

His darling Haelera, who—affectionately named after his sweet sister—had somehow managed to gather the same odd fascination with all things creepy-crawly, still felt her father’s warm love. Though, you could say she was a lover of animals in general, it was much easier to come across bugs of various types than an odd dog or cat in the Red Keep. Aemond listening intently to every little insect fact his darling daughter brought to his attention, and would often return from his Princely duties with a jar containing a random bug much to Haelera’s delight.

And Little Raenar could just barely toddle after his older brother and his father, yet Aemond was insistent on bringing the infant as he and Vaemon trained. Aemond supposed the young babe simply liked the sounds of metal—if the light on his face and the happy giggles that floated through the training yard each time Aemond blocked one of Vaemon’s attacks were anything to go by—but the babe seemed to enjoy the activity, or his brother and sire’s company either way, and Aemond was content with including him even if his little mind wasn’t entirely sure what was happening.

Aemond personally picks each and every dragon egg that would be placed in his children’s cradles. And while, thankfully all eggs did hatch, Aemond did harbor a bit of fear that one of his children would be left to suffer a fate similar to his as a dragonless Targaryen—and vowed he’d not have them ridiculed as he once was, that he’d comfort and adore them regardless.

He relishes in teaching his children to be dragon riders. To see the ease and joy on their faces after a their first ride, to see they have what should have been his—gaining a dragon-bond at birth, and not having to lose a part of themselves in order to gain something by sheer determination—Aemond delights in taking his little clan on family rides.

Aemond would not see his little family crumble and become scattered in the winds as his extended family had been in his youth. He insists upon the family being together during every meal, not that you’d ever begin to think of denying him that—the family being as tight knit as it was—Aemond enjoyed hearing about each member of his family’s daily activities and growing interests.

He would never be more grateful to anyone more than he was to his Lady-Wife for giving him something he’d never truly had before—the gift of family—darling children that loved each other as much as their father loved them.

Aemond Targaryen loves his little family.
