Harald Moltke (Dec. 14, 1871 - 1960) was a Danish Count, who painted and wrote about the lands and peoples he visited on multiple expeditions to the Arctic around 1900. He was particularly fascinated by the Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis.

Currently exploring Iceland and discovered a fun little Aviation museum in Akureyri. Very small but lots of cool planes.

If you possess an international driving license and am traveling in a group of three or more, it would be a good idea to drive around Akureyri in a rented car. I mean, not unless you would rather spend a bomb and still not being able to see more.

Goðafoss is a waterfall in northern Iceland. It is located along the country's main ring road at the junction with the Sprengisandur highland road, about 45 minutes from Akureyri (via Tunnel with toll). Taking the scenic route around the tunnel instead to get there was what I did.
