Wowie! I'm not dead and I have come from the grave to once again post before going back into hiding for the next thousand years (a few weeks). I always told myself I'd never get into Roblox....And Now I am. Pressure and Regretevator, specifically, but if y'all have any reccs for any games on there, lemme know -- I'd love to play them :)

Another Alt!: Meet Chuchuuya Chuuya

Chuchu is a goldsmith who took over her father's moderately successful business. She has strong opinions on the way the syndicate interacts with the governance of Ul'dah but doesn't have the mind for politics it would take to back it up. Instead, she's a shrewd business woman looking to carry on her father's work by selling the finest jewelry she can craft, as well as turning a profit here and there from smaller ventures.

For fun I did some costume alts for Arachne I like to think if this where like a video game each costume has its own little power up gimmick, personally I love how all these came out, I was just really trying to distress.

"Ninten-tober" Inktober #13: Villager (Fem!Alt) 🌸

I feel like I should've drawn something spooky on Friday the 13th (in October, no less!) but alas, I felt like drawing my fave Villager alt.

Silly Smash Bros. headcanon, but I always referred pink Villager as Villager (or Vee) and male Villager as Mayor to differentiate between the two.

She looks innocent, but watch out!

agent 3: she's there with 8 when everything happens. this will be expanded upon later.

4: never has an opportunity to escape/gets caught when she tries to. from there, her mother tightens her grip on her daughter. despite the stress, if she doesn't play, she doesn't feel whole. mom ends up singing alongside her, and hearing her voice makes 4 sick. she's nothing but a showpony now, but she's a successful one. by now, she's completely mute. yui and akiko suspect that something's up, but if they get her out at this point, it'll be a while before she's even close to being back to her old self. she never meets her friends in inkopolis, including the agents and the squid sisters

8: she fails, and she fails hard. tartar successfully sanitizes inkopolis as well as her, 3, and everyone else there. the only survivors are the squid sisters, who are in octo canyon. because of this, 3 will never reunite with her friends or her father, and even if she does, they won't remember each other. in turn, 8 will never get to meet the love of her life. this turns inkopolis into a place called 'the dead zone'.

new 3: abandoned in the desert as a child, nobody ever picked her up, so she became what splatsville residents call a desert wanderer. she never forms any connections, can only speak in choppy sentences, and sees everyone as an enemy.

4. is there a muse that not a lot of people roleplay with?

Currently I have Nijah Wolff and Kaevia Sun'rael, who are two muses I have that I rarely roleplay with. Nijah is a character that has been loosely retired for the time being due to her current story being at a stall and my focus being on Vahalia as my Main. For Kaevia, she is a fresh new character to the FFXIV universe, but I have been slowly working on introducing her here and there through various discord RPs, and weaving her in here and there through Vahalia's stories since she was originally introduced there through the Whitlock stories and arc. Kaevia's blog theme is still a WIP.

I've been messing around with the benchmark, bringing a bunch of my alts into it to see how everyone looks. Here are the results!

Zalera: - My main is the larger image, my secondary main is the top left. - I have nine characters on this server. I didn't make a mistake. I have a second account. The catgirl at the bottom is the main on the second account.

Malboro: - I have 8 characters here, but I didn't copy over the "Meteor" character because obviously, everyone else with a Meteor character is going to do that.

The rest of my Crystal DC alts: - Brynhildr alts are in the two larger pictures - Balmung is the bunny boy on the middle left. They're supposed to be fixing how he looks... Characters with very light skin aren't looking good on the benchmark! - Mateus is the bunboy in the middle - The bottom row is all the Goblin alts!

Other alts on NA DC's: Primal - the catgirl in the top middle. I'm actively working on leveling her to 50 as a BLM Aether - the malezen in the bottom middle. He was my very first character created and sat on Siren as a level 2 for ten years before finally being leveled up some. I got him to 50 as a SCH to get the car during the FFXV cross-over event. Dynamis - all of the smaller pictures on the left and right. They're all on Maduin.

Materia DC: They're all on Ravana. I have a little story in my head about them and how they all wound up in Australia lol

Hey Aeryn, any suggestions on making playing NG+ fun? I thought about making an original story on how my character gets the Crystals of Light. She goes unconscious after escaping the Praetorium and I thought it be a good way to do the ideas I want to write without messing up the lore. Have you done anything like this?

I usually use NG+ chapters to either help out a pal who's going through that story the first time, or to re-familiarize with lore, or see changes to the game, like in the revamps to the lvl 50 MSQ instances and for the changes to the Dragonsong War part of the HW patches when they added Duty Support.

The nice part about NG+ is it breaks the story into chapters. I sometimes think those chapter breaks need revision (especially in ARR). But it may be an interesting way to approach NG+, with the idea of an alternate storyline.

The closest I've come to anything like that was actually back in WoW on one of my alts, when I took some quests and lore of the Grizzly Hills and Sholazar Basin and made a story for my late-middle-aged human hunter alt (mom of my priest main, deciding to go back out and adventure instead of retiring). That's a far more alt-friendly-and-expected game, so she was probably my 5th or 6th character through those zones and so I decided to do something different.

It mostly is apparent if one is familiar with the Northrend zones in WoW, though that OC did this during Cataclysm, a later expansion than that continent's introduction. I just used the existing lore elements to write a story that made sense for her, and didn't really worry about "messing up" lore cuz it was her story, by and for me, and I didn't really care what other folks thought of it* or how it fit into some grander interconnected RP scheme. It was a story I wanted to tell. So I did.

If interested, it's been reloaded on an alt blog under the "Northern Hunt" tag; 10 shortish entries. It's one of those I really ought to clean up and put on Ao3 one of these days, honestly.

*The server blogging website we used to post on is long gone, but I recall folks seemed to like it OK. It was posted to the alt Tumblr by request, as I recall.
