oh, also. i didn't tell you guys about the mitski concert!!! it was so fucking spectacular, refreshing, and unforgettable. the tliiasaw tour was my second time seeing her live and god, i'm so, so, so happy i got to go to berlin and enjoy this performance because that's what it was: an artistic performance, a spectacle, a transcendent experience, to be honest. and i don't mean it in a "god, i love mitski, she's soooo good" way. the musical setting (gosh, the band was so fucking exceptional!), the scenography, the illumination, the choreography, the vocals… combined together, they all created an immersive experience, as if i was sitting and enjoying a theatrical production rather than an indie-pop concert. guys, it was just so fucking mind-blowing, especially the new musical arrangements for the old songs. they sounded funky and familiar but unique at the same time. you could FEEL the pure joy of making music, performing, and just… mitski's happiness and contentment of being on stage, on her own terms. i hope that the rest of the tour will continue to make everyone on the team feel satisfied with their work and that they will treat themselves to a big, nice break, because they truly deserve it!!

I find it absolutely fascinating how when I was younger and objectively the target demographic for the first Trolls movie I was so adamant on "I'm a big girl now, I'm too mature to watch this, this movie is for babies and I Am Not A Baby so I can't watch it" (Even though I desperately wanted to and eventually tricked myself into watching the whole movie through clips on YouTube) and now here I am, legally allowed to drink and on my way to getting a driver's liscense, and not only have I spent my hard earned money I got from My Job for tickets to see Band Together at the movie theater, but am also actively getting brainrot over it. What is going ON

#This drawing is kind of personal to me #I recently graduated (CUM LAUDE WOOOO!!!!) and its like. not to get depressing #but when i was younger i was never sure whether i would make it to this point #When i was going through what i consider to still be like. the worst time of my entire life #This fictional character was there for me and she was something for me to latch onto and cope with #eGem helped me a lot with being able to process my emotions at the time but also helped me to reflect on myself #which i think is a big reason as to why I'm really happy with where i am with myself right now #I'm going off to uni next school year to study astronomy!!! which!!!#Im also doing because of eGem!!! Athena with odysseus: surprise attacking odysseus and bodily slamming him to palace walls (for awareness training). Randomly kidnapping him from the palace to drop him in the woods (or the ocean or on two memorable occasions on a completely different island) (survival training), using her full strength in sparing matches (odysseus has many broken bones) dragging him up by his wrist so they're face to face. Not being careful with how often she uses quick thought or any of her other powers (what? He seems fine. She's sure odysseus has always been a freak it's definitely not brain damage it's/fine/hes /fine)

Athena with telemachus, after she accidentally knocked him out once: right right odysseus and penelope taught me how to do this when they had me babysit you. Gotta be gentle so so gentle. Gotta support the head gotta craddle humans not yank them up by the wrist (she knew odysseus was a freak why didn't he say anything??) Can't just funnel her full power into the kid gotta be so gentle.

It's time to change some scenery!!#Chara using their game narrator voice like “golly!” and “amazing!”#Eimmet high :)) i was really hoping to be able to reference Temmie Chang here. An integral part of UT/DR!! She's awesome!#WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON Day 2 BABY #yes- there is still a little everyman easter egg as well as some other things... ;)#I tried so many new and different things for these panels. I was a little nervous implementing them. But im having a lot of fun with it!#i try to put my own artistic enjoyment above all other things :) its what I strive for.#Angle's landing day! excited for the festivities!#Chara is feeling stabby :)#loved detailing Chara's hand in the last page.
