Like a total dork, I tripped over my dog in my yard today. And it was not a graceful one. I stumbled for several absolutely graceless steps so I didn’t land on the aforementioned dog. After a second where I was certain I’d recover and collect myself, I lost my total footing and balance and smashed into the grass hard on my head, shoulder, shin and hand.

I know that five of my neighbors were outside in our shared back yard (about 3 patios away) watching me, and didn’t do anything. My wife came out and helped me up as I was seeing stars, and my favorite glasses were broken.

Everything hurts but I am grateful I didn’t hurt my dog. She is a good dog.
